Great for young and older. Our group of 4 ranged from 7 to 64. Staff was fantastic. All of us loved the activity. Will definitely do it again.

Itinerary
Our tour guides will take you down mangrove shorelines in shallow calm waters searching for sea-life and sea-birds with our high powered LED illuminated underwater lights. Some of the highlights of the tour is feeding the fish which is fun for everyone and also paddling into the mangrove canal! The fish will follow our kayaks and get so close you can even touch them! You may also see crabs, shrimp & other sea-life as we illuminate the waters around us. Sometimes we'll even see Dolphins and Manatees at different parts of our tour site. With literally nothing to do at night in Water Sports, our Glass Bottom Kayak LED illuminated Night Tours are perfect for families, friends, large groups, or an unforgettable date night under the stars! Our kayaks are very stable and similar to a canoe so water does not come in through vent holes so you can wear full clothing with shoes in the summer and even stay warm in the winter by wearing jeans and jackets!

It was a great experience and my 12 Y/O daughter loved it too. We saw so many catfish and it was beautiful out on the water. The guides were so informative and patient. Would recommend to anyone.
I was really surprised by our experience after reading all of the positive reviews of this place. I booked our tour on Wed. Immediately after receiving the confirmation email we were told the kayaks only hold 385 lbs and if we would be over the limit to let them know “within an hour of booking.” I texted the number it listed immediately, no response. The next day I tried calling and the answering machine said they were too busy to ever answer the phone and the best bet was to text them, so I texted again. No response. I also emailed the support email listed and it was returned as an invalid address. I told the customer service on the text, no response. By Friday, I texted again and finally got a response that said they don’t check the boat list until the day of the tour, but they’d make sure we had our own kayaks. The night of - we were told to park in a specific place and make sure you pay. Then we overheard the guides tell another family not to bother paying to park, it didn’t matter. The email said you must get there a minimum of 20 min before your trip, but there was no signage or anyone waiting to make sure you’re in the right place or check you in. The guides seemed to be struggling to find a life jacket for everyone and didn’t have enough of the right size for everyone in our group. We received a short tutorial on paddling, but zero instruction on safety or what to do if you fall out of your boat. This is pretty standard safety protocol for companies, even if the likelihood of tipping over is small. I was surprised with the number of kids in our group it wasn’t even mentioned. My husband and I exceeded the maximum boat capacity, but the guide tried to put us in a kayak together and said, “it’s probably fine.” We had just watched another couple come in where the person in the back was soaked and they were barely above water. I insisted on getting my own kayak, as we had already been told by the company the day before. The email also said to bring your phone and an ear piece/headphones bc you’d be listening to the guide via conference call, which never happened. Our guide, who never introduced himself, just paddled away and was talking to the one or two kayaks at the front, but no one else could hear him. We went on a short trip to a mangrove tunnel, while some boats went in, the others just floated around. Then we fed some catfish. And that was it! Definitely not worth $65/person in my opinion. I got a couple of neat pics, but the whole thing was very unprofessional, very short, and we did not really hear anything from either of our guides. The guide in the rear (also never said his name) was nice. He would take pics of you if you wanted but didn’t say much of anything else. The kids who went seemed to have a lot of fun when the fish showed up. If you’ve never been kayaking and have kids who want to see fish in the dark, it might be fun. But it didn’t live up to most of the rafting/kayaking experiences we have had in the past. From customer service to experience, I can’t say I’d recommend this company to travelers. If we visit again, we’d probably just rent a kayak or SUP and take ourselves out.
We had such a great time. It was a peaceful night paddle and feeding the fish was so fun. The only recommendation would be to bring bug spray. The mosquitoes are viscous.
This was a wonderful experience for us. My 14 year old.had never been in a kayak. The guide was helpful and patient. He shared tons of information about the area, which we really liked. The trip was beautiful and peaceful. We will take more family when they come in to visit.
Fun time! Aaron was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable about the area! I recommend doing the sunset tour.
Event was cancelled due to weather, understandable. Tour operator says I must contact Viator for refund. Found no way to contact them on website. This is my only avenue to receive my $186 refund.
Booked a trip, it was cancelled by the company. Been trying to get a refund on our trip. No one responds to our text and no one answers the phone. Would not book with them again
We had such a fantastic and relaxing time. We saw many fish and learned about the environment from the tour guides, who are super chill. The glass-bottom kayaks were a really cool addition! Id recommend this to anyone looking for something different unique to do!
Fun experience going out at night on the intercoastal waterway. We had very calm water and a very low tide. Kayaked next to the mangroves, saw a few night heron and conch shells, and fed the catfish!
The guides were great very informative.. The experience itself was awesome . We saw lots of fish and dolphins.
Unique experience. We came after a cold front moved through so the fish activity was low, however, it was still fun and enjoyable.
Wonderful trip. First experience on a night trip. Aaron was a great guide and was very patient while helping some of us older folks into and out of our kayaks. Feeding the catfish was fun.
Sharkeys employees are accommodating and considerate. The tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. The staff that launched us were extremely welcoming and friendly. Thank you for a great time!
This was an exciting experience. It was informational. Even if we hadn’t seen any wildlife it was awesome to kayak in the dark.
We had so much fun. The kayaking with guide was good. We had a good experience feeding cat fish. We would recommend it to our family
The description said there would be sea life and we would be able to feed them. We saw absolutely no sea life and we were not given any food to feed anything. The tour guides were amazing
Great time, relaxing and informative. Light is really bright so best to go on a clear, smooth night so when you feed the fish you can see them clearly
Definitely alot of fun! You may get a little wet. We had a little fish jump in our kayak, which was an interesting experience lol! Definitely recommend experience!
We all had a good time. The tour guides were both friendly and patient with those that weren’t familiar with kayaking.
We had a great time definitely would do again the guy was very knowledgeable and you feed the cat fish there every where so cool to see
This is mostly about paddling at night while being eaten alive by bugs and soaked in dirty water. You're not gonna see much. Barely any fish. The guide also keeps talking about things nobody cares about. Maybe this would be OK for like $25-$30, not $62.
Took the kayak tour with my 5 year old granddaughter. Feeding the fish was the highlight of her tour. Tour length was perfect. The guides were well spoken mixing local information with lessons on Florida mangrove wildlife.
Loved the glass bottom kayaks.. feeding the fish was amazing and so much fun.. looking forward to going again..
This was so much fun! We did the 9:30pm tour. The guides were great and very knowledgeable. As you paddle around the inner coastal, they would give you history and information about the area and what you were seeing. One of the best parts was paddling through the mangroves. Feeding the fish was another highlight of the boat trip. This was an absolutely wonderful experience. I would highly recommend to anyone.
The whole family enjoyed this experience. The guide was informative and moved at a nice place. Everyone enjoyed feeding the fish and seeing them right next to the kayak.
Such a great tour! The guides were wonderful and it was the perfect amount of time on the water. We even had dolphins come to play.
There was a storm that looked like it would cancel our experience. Most of the folks waiting left because of it. But, the guides assured us that it would go around...and it did. It turned our kayak trip into a very small group. We were able to ask more questions and have a much more personal experience. They guides were great. They were courteous, helpful and very easy to talk to. It was a great trip even though the actual wildlife was limited.
What a great experience. The guides were awesome. Very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend. Our family had such a great time.
From the moment we pushed off, we could see little fish swimming all around under our kayaks—it was so cool and really beautiful. I usually get eaten alive by mosquitoes, but surprisingly, I didn’t get bitten at all! There weren’t many out, but if you’re someone they usually go after like me, I’d still bring something like Skin So Soft just in case. The water was super calm, and the sky had some patchy clouds that made everything look kind of magical. Each kayak had lights under it that you could change to different colors, which made the whole experience even more fun. I used mine to take a few pictures of my cousin. They turned out okay, but if you want great photos, it’s worth getting the picture package—those come out way better. The area is known for manatees and dolphins. We didn’t spot any that night, but I live nearby and see them all the time, so if you’re visiting, there’s definitely a chance you’ll see some. We also paddled through this really pretty spot where trees and brush surrounded us—it felt like something out of Disney World, but in real life. At one point, we passed a little private dock with a lantern and chairs. It looked like the perfect place to sit and drink coffee (someone’s lucky backyard!). The guide was awesome—super friendly and full of info about the area. He even gave tips on places to check out after the tour. The paddle was just the right amount—not too long, not too short—and really easy. You can also do a tandem kayak if you want someone else to help paddle. Overall, this was such a fun and relaxing night out with family and friends. Definitely a five-star experience and something I’d recommend to anyone!.
Such a great experience and the guides were amazing!!! We saw tons of fish and dolphins!!! Well worth the visit!!!
Peaceful, educational and beautiful experience! I highly recommend kayaking at night on this unique LED lit up tour. The fish were cool too!
Unique, enjoyable experience! Not overly physically exerting. Lots of catfish to feed. It was very cool to be so close to the nature. Brian and Caden were great tour guides!
The 930 PM departure was great and everything was quiet. Great time to see the fish and the animals. It was low tide so we couldn’t do the more secluded areas (too shallow). Boats are super stable with a clear bottom. Fish feeding was amazing. Guides were super knowledgeable and friendly. I would do this again tonight if I could.
The experience of Kayaking at night was cool. The guys had a flat tire on the way and still made it on time. The lead guy could have padded a little slower and maybe have something to make his voice louder when he was talking about all the cool trees and islands. It was cool to feed the fish.
The boys that did our tour were friendly, knowledgeable, and kind! The tour offers a night view of the area and the excitement of feeding the fish!
We saw lots of fish and even saw a dolphin jump. I lost my phone after a fish jumped in our kayak and the tour guide even stayed and helped me look for it in the water.
It’s an easy paddle, we saw & fed fish and even saw a dolphin. Our teenage kids loved it and so did mom & dad.
I’m glad the money goes to a good cause. This event was too much money and too much effort to “maybe” see some catfish. The bottom of the boat is not see through. The lights are on the front, where you can’t see from the craft.
Great time & pleasant guide! Enjoyed the tour and sites! Will definitely recommend as well as go again! My first experience & great experience
Excellent Experience. The Scenary Was Beautiful, The Atmosphere was soothing. Absolutley Going Again With My Friends 10/10 ✨🌟
seeing the fish come up to the boat and swimming by the boat. going through thr marsh was also fun out at night is scary
Me and my friend never kayaked before but by the end we were pros. best part was when we were in the mangroves and fish were flying around us.
Great experience! We were given detailed information about safety and what to expect during the tour. Our guide was very informative about the habitats we encountered and was calm and assuring. Try it!
It was ok at first, we took the sunset tour and the tour guide was great. But the description was deceiving. It made it sound like the kayaks was going to be lit up with LED lights and we were going to see all kinds of fish but the lights looked like glow sticks and the water was murky and all we saw was catfish. And I struggled to keep up with the group because he was going too fast and we were going against the wind and my arms were super tired. I thought it was going to be a leisurely ride but be ready for a workout that lasts over an hour. Overall the experience was ok, my kids thought it was neat but it’s not worth what it cost.
Just did the 9:30 pm fish feeding LED night tour and had such an amazing time! Our guides were Austin and Kaden and both of them were so friendly It was like chatting with old friends. Austin was super knowledgeable and shared a plethora of information about the wild life in the area and was also really great with my 10 year old son. He made him feel so comfortable and involved in the tour. This was also our very first time kayaking and Austin gave us some really helpful tips and information, this tour is very beginner friendly and we all (including my son) picked It up pretty quickly. The fish were also super active tonight! Austin mentioned that this was the most active he’s seen them in a while. One fish even jumped out of the water and flew right over my kayak! It was super cool. We had a dolphin following us for a little bit chasing fish too! Such a fun time, I would definitely do this again It was such a fun experience for us all! Thanks for everything Austin and Kaden!!
Austin was cool so was kaleef. They were both attentive and patient, this was our first time kayaking so we were a bit nervous but they made us feel calm about it. Would recommend
Was visiting family from Arizona & this was a great experience for me to do out here! my aunt & i had a blast! he was very knowledgeable, gave us facts about all the wildlife we saw. This time we got to see dolphins and raccoons! also felt very safe with him checking on everyone and making sure we were okay!
LED lights weren’t bright enough. Saw a couple catfish and got ate up by mosquitos. Logan, our guide, did a good job though.
We had an entertaining and informative trip that the whole family enjoyed. We would recommend this excursion to other visitors in the area.
