Shared Sportfishing Trip From Fort Lauderdale

Took my 13yr old on a morning trip. Caught a few small fish then an 86” golden dusky. A memory my kid will never forget.

Caught only a couple very small fish in the 4hr trip. Took my son hoping for him to catch something memorable. Rhe fish were only a pound or so.

I paid for a half day shared sport fishing trip and only got a long boat ride. The captain and deckhand smoked the whole time. The trip was in July and it was hot outside and there was no air in the cabin. The deckhand seemed more concerned about getting a tip at the end of the trip than catching fish. There were five of us on the boat and we ended up catching zero fish. I am in my sixties and have fished my whole life so I understand bad days on the water but I have never hired a guide for fishing and not caught anything. This was definitely not worth the money.

Unforgettable day on the ocean! We booked a four hour trip with Captain Chris and First Mate Ben and it was unbelievable! Ben seemed to manage the logistics of the different fishing lines and methods like he could do this in his sleep, and Captain Chris kept his “head on a swivel” (his words) to make sure we were safe on a busy waterway with some less experienced boaters. They worked seamlessly as a team to get all four of our group members experiences to reel in fish and we netted 7 black fin tuna, which they cleaned for us to take home. We cooked tuna for dinner we caught in the ocean only hours earlier! The highlight was a 6.5 foot sailfish on our line … incredible. Only suggestion for travelers is to know you may feel queasy. We were prepared with anti nausea medications but you may want to keep this is mind. We will come back for sure and request Chris and Ben!

Booked a 4 hour morning adventure with Fishing Headquarters right on the dock. Our captain and crew mate, Paulie and Dave were outstanding! We had rough waters, but got on the fish quickly. Boated a 66” Golden Amberjack! The staff was very friendly and had outstanding knowledge of the waters and fisheries. Outstanding experience!

Come prepared in case it rains and bring your own drinks and snacks. We had a great time and caught so many fish. The first three were bait fish and then we caught a barracuda, a black fin tuna, and a 51 inch king fish. The crew were more excited about that than we were but pretty great experience overall. Note, the boats could use a little TLC.

We spent most of our time fishing for bait fish just outside the entrance and did 3-4 laps around an anchored freighter for the rest and came back to port with a tub full of bait fish -we used two bait fish. Literally we spent 30 mints for game fish was that the goal !!? There were four of us. The other team was able to snag a nice size barracuda GREAT CATCH guys. However we all looked at each other and basically spent 4 hours just outside the harbor about 3 miles out trolling around, with appearance we were going to do more fishing with the lines out. The first mate is hustler the captain was steady at the helm

The excursion was very complete and we fished several different methods and baits. We rotated FISH ON experiences and it allowed everyone a chance to land something on the boat. My son caught a 30” Barracuda. Great day on the water

Very bad experience. I spent $227.34 and I did not even drop a pole in the water. I would never recommend this trip to anybody!

Absolutely unreal day on the water with Captain Jack and Christina. From the second we left the dock, they were dialed in - professional, calm, and clearly masters of their craft. Every detail was handled, every question answered, and the energy on the boat was confident but relaxed. We ended up landing a 7.5 ft sailfish and a 14 ft hammerhead - a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. What stood out most wasn’t just the fish, though. It was how Captain Jack and Christina guided us through every step of the fight. Clear coaching, constant communication, and total composure even when things got intense. Christina worked nonstop and went above and beyond all day. Both of them were incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely excited for us. You can tell they care deeply about what they do and about the experience their guests have. I’ve fished a lot of places, and this was one of the most memorable days I’ve ever had offshore. If you’re even considering booking with them - do it. You won’t regret it.

Nice trip, caught about 9 small fish. Very relaxing and the sea was calm. Really enjoyed the crews help when needed. They were very professional.

We had a great time. Capt Will put us on fish almost right away. My wife and I went out in 24 and mounted a 46’ Barracuda. We landed a 50’ King Mackerel today. Getting it duplicated as well. Highly recommend Fishing HQ.

Caught lots of fish!!! Had a blast! My little niece caught several fish and was baiting her own hook by the end of the trip.

My father and I went on this shared charter. We had a wonderful time. The knowledgeable crew were friendly and helpful. We caught a few fish and had a great time. We will definitely book again in the future.

Captain Paul was great! We caught lots of Bonita, a huge wahoo and a marlin! Couldn’t ask for more. We even spotted the marlin jump and Captain Paul maneuvered the boat towards it. Really felt like we were part of the crew.

Crew was so nice I think their names were Ben and Chris they had amazing information and were super helpful with anything we needed

It was such an excellent experience, we loved it! The guys were so professional and made sure that we caught lots of fish! I would totally do it again. Clean boat and so much fun!

From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew made us feel like VIPs. They were incredibly friendly, polite, and went out of their way to ensure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. We had a great time on the water with Captain Will and his first mate Jake. They did a great job taking care of us. By the end of our trip we reeled in a 4’10 barracuda and a 40lb wahoo. Overall a great day on the water.

I had a great charter experience with Fishing Headquarters. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They did everything in their power to try and get us on some fish.

Captain Paul and mate Logan put us on the fish. We all caught fish including a 54 pound Amber Jack. We also caught king mackerel, Bonita and blue runners.

Honestly the best time it was a first time for us and they did not make us feel bad for not knowing they helped and my husband even had a great catch he does not stop raving about. Highly recommend

A perfect August day for fishing, the water was calm, and the fish were biting. We caught several bonita, a black fin tuna, and a few yellow tail snappers. The icing on the birthday cake, because we were celebrating a birthday was the 8 foot long nurse shark that we caught. Reeling the bad boy in was a real workout.

A great morning out - pauly and Jack were good hosts and explained everything clearly and made it fun. We caught lots of fish too!

I went with my son and fished with another dad and his son. It was a great trip. Will and Jack on the boat, "Don't tell Mom" were great. They made sure everyone caught fish. They had plans A, B, and C. We ended up with a huge 8.5 ft hammerhead that took us all to reel in. Great value and great trip. I would recommend them to anyone!

Very fun and relaxing trip, knowledgeable crew… and I caught a black fin tuna big enough to feed four adult men! Best part is bragging rights!!!

We had a great time overall. The Captain and his mates were great. We were a group of 8 and caught 6 fish total. The fish were biting, but we had a couple guests that weren’t part of our group that needed to be attended to due to extreme heat conditions. They include everything you need to go out fishing and the rods and reels do the job. We would definitely do it again, but maybe later in the year when it’s not as hot. The heat index was over 112 degrees the day we went out. Has to be one of the hottest days on record in South Florida.

Had a great time. Got to catch a barracuda. Christina was very helpfull and full of advice. Capt. Will was not the normal grumpy Captain. Very polite and talkative.

We couldn’t have asked for a better crew and trip. Along with catching a mackerel, a bonita, some blue runners, and a few other fish. We caught a 7 foot golden Sandusky shark that we released. Memories of a lifetime!

I booked this deep sea fishing trip to celebrate my birthday, and it also happened to be my very first time fishing — and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly accommodating. They made sure I felt comfortable and prepared, walking me through everything and answering all my (many) questions with patience and enthusiasm. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and everything felt organized and safe. Partway through the trip, I started to feel seasick. The crew immediately stepped in to help — they were so kind and attentive, checking in on me often and offering tips to ease the nausea. Their support made all the difference and allowed me to still enjoy the experience, even while not feeling my best. Despite getting a little sick, I had an amazing time. I even caught some fish, which made it even more special! If you’re a beginner like me or celebrating something special, I can’t recommend this company enough. They went above and beyond to make my birthday and first fishing trip truly unforgettable.

Well setup and smooth process. Only issue but was outside of their control was the very choppy water, so I was sick half of the time. Otherwise, it would be good to have additional poles just for drop fishing at leisure if nothing is biting main lines. Someone finally caught a Mahi at the end and it was time to head back. Its great they can filet your fish and walk to a nearby restaurant to have it cooked for you.

Will and Junior were awesome captain and crew, worked well together, and helped us land a 7/8ft dusty shark on the shared sport fishing 4hr trip! Will was a great captain getting us to the right spots and feeling safe. They were super knowledgeable and knew and safely released after catching. Got action from bonitos and king mackerel also. Great day as a solo person, but the crew brought us together as a team and had a good laugh. Saw sea turtles and got a tour of the area. Full of action. Counting down the days until I return again. Thank you so much guys. Worth every dollar, the experience is incredible value

The crew was very friendly and they let us ride on the top of the boat. But unfortunately the crew get any big catches and we ended up coming home just with a few rainbow runners as consolation. I've been on multiple fishing trips and I understand that sometimes these are unpredictable. But considering all this, this fishing trip was way overpriced for what it provided. I've got better fishes on a $75 fishing trip

Captain William put us on a lot of good fish non-stop action Christina the crewmate was also very friendly and attentive not all days are like these but when the bite is on you can count on the team to put everyone on fish we ended the day with big king fish and some Bonita awesome day on the sea

Had an awesome day out with the guys.. we caught a 350lb + Grouper. The guys knew exactly how to hook it. And without a doubt we did. Catch of a life time… couldn’t suggest this day charter anymore. Very fairly priced for the knowledge, expertise and service these guys provide for you all day… couldn’t speak higher of them 🤟🏻 cheers guys for the awesome day

We went on the Don't Tell Your Mom boat with Will and Christine. We had so much fun and caught several Tuna and Mahi Mahi. My husband and I felt as if we were fishing with friends. We look forward to another trip and returning.

We had a rough start as it was raining and thunder, and then one of the other fishers on board was not feeling well, and we had to turn back and take him to the shore. And we almost decided to call it a day, but luckily we decided to go back out. The weather cleared and we were lucky to catch a 2 feet shark! It was really cool! The staff worked hard to make out trip a success after the challenging start, and they made it a great day for us!

We had a great fishing trip with Captain Will and his first mate, Jack. We hooked onto a 7' shark which made for an awesome experience for my teens. Will and Jack are who you want to fish with. Thanks again guys for an unforgettable trip!
