Shared Deep Sea Fishing Trip From Destin

$155 for a 6 hour trip caught over 60 keeper fish and a lot that were thrown back, including a shark. Had a great time

We had a great time. Caught 14 Red Snapper that we got to take home and eat for dinner! We recommend this experience.

The experience was awesome. The site was easy to use and the staff at pelican were courteous and very accommodating. The guy in the boat was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about fishing. I wish I could have caught more fish but that’s why they call it fishing and not catchin. In the end I would definitely book another trip

Great Trip. We'll organized. Not over crowded. We'll staffed. Captain made sure we had 2 to 3 good spots. We caught about 14 Snapper.

Got really sea sick but my partner caught a fish. The dude that was helping everyone was super nice & helpful .

I gave them a five star because they refunded us all our money after my parents got sea sick on the boat. We had already gone almost 45 minutes then had to turn around. A partial refund would have been fine. Great customer service! Will be back without the parents 🤭

Overall a great shared trip. The mates were awesome, Thanks Mike and Noel! Boat was in decent shape and the gear was also decent. Highly recommend for a shared trip. We were blessed with great weather, calm seas, and good fishing. Registration, follow ups, and instructions were timely and accurate. I’d do this again.

The company contacted me about rescheduling the day before but we already had plans for that time and when we wanted to schedule it for later in the week they said no that they would just keep us posted. We woke up at 4:30am and took an Uber to the meet up location to find out that it was canceled! They could have sent a message as they did the day before to let us know so we didn’t pay the $38 to get there, and the only day they could reschedule for was the day we were leaving…communication would have been an easy fix!

This was my husband and my first deep sea fishing experience, and Captain Mark and Noah did a great job showing us a good time! They were kind and super helpful! We will most definitely come back, and highly recommend Pelican Adventures for any Destin water activities.

We had a great trip. It was the first time fishing for me. I caught fish. My husband caught fish. We went in the afternoon. The seas were not too bad that day. Charlie and Noah are great mates. They were helpful and made the trip a great one. For us it was just the right size boat and the right amount of people.

I brought my son for his 29th Birthday bucketlist item!! He had an amazing time!! We caught plenty of fish

Our group caught 15 fish and could of caught a lot more if we didn't rest. Most of the fish are 1-2 lbs and we ate them that night. Delicious. Prepare to be tossed about as the sea can be rough and the boat is more of a medium size boat. We only heard from or saw the captain for 1 minute of the 6 hr trip. The 2 young adults helping with all the fishing were excellent. If you can't handle rough sea then this trip isn't for you. Our group didn't expect to be tossed about so much. We were surprised. We were happy that we went, but next time would look for a bigger boat based on our ability to handle the rough sea. Want to thank the 2 young adults who worked so hard helping with all the fishing. For the record we went on the Good Times boat that handles up to 15 fisherman in addition to the crew.

The trip was over the top. The captain knew how to maneuver in some choppy waters and the deck hands were so friendly and helpful with every aspect of the fishing. The entire experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to anyone….. from children to grandparents And did I mention we caught tons of fish

Book it! The crew was absolutely fantastic and helpful throughout the entire trip. We made so many memories and caught some beautiful fish as well.

Great experience! Will book again next time we visit Destin. Noah and Charlie were amazing, made us all feel like family and stayed busy helping everyone the entire time. Don’t forget to bring extra cash for a tip. Highly recommend

It was our first time to try deep see fishing and we will definitely do it again. Our captain was wonderful and Noah our Mate was the best person that you could have ever imagined!! He ran his butt off and helped all 11 of us on our boat!! I truly hope he got enough tips to cover what he did for us!!

The crew was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Captain Mark took us to great fishing spots, and Clay & Charlie educated us on all the fish we caught, & even baited our hooks. We caught about 47 fish, 17 we kept. Clay cleaned them for us, & let us know to take them to any restaurant on the beach and they cook them! The weather was perfect. Overall we would 100% recommend Pelican Adventures for your deep sea fishing excursion. Great job fellas! We will definitely be back to see you again😊

We had a great adventure with the crew and other guests! We loved the experience even with the light rain we got. We were catching fish & others were too! Zack recommended to get fish cooked at Anglers restaurant blackened & fried. So glad we did,our fish was so delish as fish tacos.

We had a great time and caught several large fish. The captian kept moving us to different spots so we each caught plenty of good sized fish. Clay was the deckhand. He was very knowledgeable and happy to bait and take fish off our hooks. He also cleaned the fish for us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely go again if we have a chance to make it back to Florida.

We really enjoyed the experience catching 10 fish and loved that fact the the workers filleted our catch for us after the trip. Most definitely have already told family and friends about our experience and most definitely coming back with more people

The captain and crew were wonderful. There were 12 of us fishing and we caught 96 keepers and 20 we had to throw back. One large grouper ( didn’t make it into the boat ) probably 10 triggers and four 15 pound plus red snapper.

Dennis and Chris were great while out deep sea fishing. We expected to catch more fish than we did for a 6 hour excursion. caught 7 keepers between the 4 of us.

It was a fun trip. The mates were great! I wish we would have been able to catch little more fish than what we did. We did catch a couple odd fish that was cool.

Started out great, however, we got caught in a nasty storm after the 2nd spot. I don’t feel that the captain prioritized the safety of the passengers or crew in his decision to keep going instead of turning around to go back to the dock. The waves were over the top of the sides of the boat and the ship was rocking from side to side so much that stuff was falling off the shelves (that had already been secured down). One passenger fell even though he was hanging on to things. The ride back was miserable and several people got sea sick - imagine puking outside over the railing in a huge thunderstorm on the ocean. It felt like the captain prioritized not needing to give refunds for half the fishing time over the safety of everyone aboard. It was expensive and the worst charter fishing experience I’ve ever had.

I made this trip last minute then canceled the next morning. I didn’t get the chance to cancel within the 24 hour period, so I was unable to receive a full or partial refund. My advice-don’t book trips last minute!

While I went alone the experience was great and made some new friends during the trip. The guys were very helpful and made the trip feel personal. They did a great job cleaning my catch when we got back.

The worst deep sea fishing experience ever! Deck hands did their best but the captain either didn’t know where to go or was an off season commercial fisherman that was just getting a check and didn’t want to put anyone on the fish. 6-8” fish is pathetic. Will not be going back!

Booked for 8-15 person boat but put on 25 person boat. Crew gave almost no instructions. My side of the boat caught 2-4 fish each. The other side caught 8-10 fish each. After fishing was over, we learned that the other side changed bait from octopus to mackerel and started catching. Our side was not offered any bait options. I expect the crew to give advice and offer bait options. They track catch per person and keep the in coolers by person so it not a lot to expect them to share what’s working.

The trip was very fun and we had a good time. Checking in was a smooth process but we didn’t catch a lot fish but it was a fun experience

Being with my family! But the crew was very helpful and supportive. We didn’t catch anything that was in season. Mostly fed the dolphins. Those stinkers.

We caught a great variety of fish and lots of them! Crew is great, knowledgeable, and very helpful! They were able to give novice fisherman instructions , to make the trip more enjoyable for everyone. The crew cleans your catch and then you can take it to local restaurants to prepare. They call it you hook it we cook it. Pretty awesome experience!
