Shallow Water Snorkeling And Dolphin Watching In Key West

Amazing crystal clear blue water on the sandbar! Absolutely great day and bartender made sure you were taken care of with your drinks!

Excellent hospitality and fun crew. Knew the area well. Saw a group of dolphin right outside our boat. Snorkeling with my kindergartener and preteen daughter was a blast. Catamaran is the way to go. Noodles, swim vest with snorkel gear (mask, snorkel, and flippers included) Would definitely book again. Thanks you Captain JP and mate Bailey!

Captain Sandy and first mate Simone did an excellent job maintaining professionalism and putting me at ease as a novice swimmer and new to snorkeling. The spot we were taken to had many fish and a variety of coral to view plus a ship wreck! It was also quite shallow just as stated. Life jackets and thick pool noodles are provided to wear while snorkeling which was very reassuring for me and kept me afloat very well. The refreshment fruit was ripe and fresh. We also saw a pod of 5 or so dolphins which was amazing!! Highly recommend this excursion to any person new or curious about snorkeling.

Not good. Given the weather was not ideal. Which means they should have cancelled. Captain Sandy really did not add much to the trip. In other tours we have taken, even if the weather is not ideal, the crew usually provides other commentary and historic facts about the area which we always find enjoyable. He just sat there. Took us to an area where literally we saw nothing in terms of snorkeling. And my fins also broke. The captain and first mate seemed out of sync and it was just turned into a really long boat ride.

The captain JP and Deb were very friendly and welcoming. There were 7 people (including us) on our trip. We were able to watch a pod of 5 dolphins for quite a long while and sailed a bit to enjoy the sun and ocean. The winds were coming from the wrong direction for good snorkeling but, we saw some more dolphins on the way back to the marina. We had a nice day on the water.

Eddie and Deb made us feel very welcomed. We felt like they were long time friends. The ride was great and the snorkeling was awesome.

It was an absolutely fantastic experience, even with the cold breeze that made the situation more challenging and tested our resilience. Despite that the event remained deeply memorable. The captain and crew members were exceptional—highly professional, engaging, and attentive to every detail, which greatly contributed to the overall positive atmosphere.

It was an incredible experience despite the chilly weather, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the fantastic crew, whose teamwork and dedication made the moment truly memorable.

We were really looking forward to this trip, but unfortunately, several things made it a disappointing experience. First, the instructions said to bring sunscreen, so I went to apply mine respectfully at the back of the boat, facing away from everyone and with the wind direction. The captain immediately yelled at me not to spray it, saying it would get sunscreen on the boat. I understand wanting to protect the vessel, but they were more concerned about the boat’s cleanliness than passenger safety. Proper skin protection in the sun and safety with slippery hands while holding the rails in rough ocean conditions are basic concerns that should be respected. The first mate seemed inexperienced and uncertain when explaining the snorkeling process — it felt like her first day. On top of that, there weren’t enough properly sized life jackets for all guests, which was concerning. Another major issue was that vaping wasn’t mentioned as prohibited anywhere on the booking information. Once on board, we were told we couldn’t vape because the boat had “open engine cells” in the back. We were stuck for four hours unable to smoke, which we would’ve taken into consideration before booking had we known. On the way to the reef, after being called out multiple times over the above issues, we felt like we couldn’t even talk or move around without getting in trouble. The overall atmosphere felt strict and tense rather than fun and relaxing, which really took away from the experience. Overall, the scenery was beautiful, but the lack of clear communication and professionalism made what should’ve been an enjoyable trip feel uncomfortable and disappointing.

Very relaxing and beautiful…was very flat and there was only one other couple in the boat. We were very lucky that we also got to hang out with dolphins at the end also

We had a great time! Seen Nurse sharks snorkeling and a great dolphin show. Came right up close to the boat! We enjoyed our time!

Everything was organized well. Appreciate the crew for an amazing service starting with serving drinks and finishing with snorkeling activities. We saw fishes, a shark, a stingray, and even maybe a dolphin.

We had a wonderful experience, the snorkeling was ok and although we didn't see any dolphins, the captain searched in a few different locations for them before we went back in to dock. Fun day and the fruit served really hit the spot!

Captain Joey, Vitalli and Aiden were awesome. Great ride out and a perfect place to snorkel. Saw tons of fish and a sting ray! Then off to find a pod of dolphins. Drinks provided and snacks. Great crew ( very personable) and highly recommend you book with these guys!

A perfect afternoon on the water. We loved the smaller boat and smaller number of guests, and the crew was great—attentive and helpful. We saw dolphins just a few minutes out from the marina, and enjoyed a gorgeous ride out, terrific snorkeling, and even some sea life we’d never seen before!

Can’t say enough about the great hospitality and easy process through this excursion. They were plenty of snacks and drinks and everything was very clean and having a small group made it perfect. Kudos to JP and Micah.

Captain said the water was rough so they couldn’t go to their normal location. Went to a different location and no one saw any fish whatsoever. Also zero attempts at trying to see any dolphin. We paid for a boat ride. I understand they can’t control the weather, but the trip should have been canceled and refunded if we couldn’t go to their normal location. I would not recommend!

The catamaran is fun! We snorkeled, swam and saw dolphins on our morning tour. It was fabulous!! The captain and crew are attentive and helpful to each passenger. Thank you for the great ride!! We loved seeing all the dolphins while we were on the ECHO!

Great trip even with windy conditions! We got to the best snorkel spot for the day and then sailed around for the rest of the trip with cold drinks and great company. The crew made the most of the rough weather day and we couldn’t have had a better group to spend the afternoon cruising the key west waters with!!

Captain Bailey and First mate Dora were super knowledgeable, made sure we had a good time, were funny engaging. We had a great time sailing and snorkeling. My husband even got to see an immature hammerhead shark. Our girls had a blast as we all did. I highly suggest Echo as the smaller boat and smaller group made it for a great experience.

We had a very great experience! Micah and Bailey were very informative and attentive. The snorkeling location was great and we saw lots of wildlife. They also tried really hard to find dolphins and we were able to see some!! Very great trip.

Wondergful experience! We had 11 people (including a baby) on the Echo 3. Snacks and drinks were plentiful. The captain was entertaining. Snorkelling equipment was high quality. And there was a nice lily pad they put out for people to chill on. We were in Key West on a cruise, and they met us at the cruise port and coordinated our transportation to the catamaran location. Everything was so easy. Highly recommend for a fun time!

Super trip! We went on the snorkeling trip on echo 2, and had such a great time with Theresa and Aaron. It was very flexible and easy to change trips due to bad weather. We started by seeing dolphins and then headed to snorkel. If you go on this trip in December, you will want a wetsuit and warm clothes for the boat ride if it's windy. 10/10 would do again!!

Amazing experience on the Echo! Captain Teresa and Dora the Deckmate provided an unbelievable day for my family. We saw dolphins, turtles, and fishes galore. They were the hosts with the mosts!
