Seaplane Private Flight From Miami With Lunch In The Florida Keys

It was a great way to see the keys and Florida’s national park. Our pilot was great and gave such a knowledgeable account of the area.

Wow, where do I begin. Last week for Valentine’s Day I surprised my girlfriend with Miami Seaplane Island Adventure Tour to Islamorada and what an incredible experience! Tony, is a true gentleman and went above and beyond to help make this trip something my girlfriend will never forget (and myself). We’ve done a lot of cool stuff all over the world but this was one of the absolute coolest adventures we’ve been on. Starting off by seeing our neighborhood up close from an aerial view, then seeing the crystal blue waters on our way through the keys, to landing right up to the restaurant we had lunch at. Lunch was excellent, plenty of options and fresh seafood with live music! Tony’s flying was smooth and controlled, we felt safe and calm the entire time. We explored the island for a couple of hours before we got back on the plane to head home to Miami. Seeing our skyline again around sunset was also very special for us. Tony is sharp and I feel like I’ve made a new friend. I’m excited to plan another adventure very soon.

The most memorable experience of my life. And I’ve saw a lot! The perspective you get from the air is remarkable. We saw Sharks, Dolphins, Sea Turtles… incredible.

We can’t say enough about Miami Seaplane. It was wonderful from start to finish. We felt safe and more than that our pilot Tony and boat captain Yanni were both delightful. They were incredibly sweet with our young children as well. We would definitely do this again and it was a memorable adventure !!

This was a present to my girlfriend. We made an amazing time. She couldn’t stop smiling. Tony is a phenomenal pilot. He knows a lot about the history of the area. He made it such a memorable experience. Everything was top tier!! You have to book this!!!

My husband and I did the Key West excursion with pilot Adrian at the helm. It was fantastic! Adrian was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and ecosystem of the Keys and an excellent pilot, too. He seemed to have a deep connection to the area and it made the trip especially memorable. WOW. Simply amazing. Our pilot’s enthusiasm was like a kid at Christmas. His knowledge of the history and current issues of the Keys was unlimited. We did the trip to Islamorado and wanted to do it again as soon as it ended. We were in expert hands with the local pilot with over 25 years of experience. His narrative was mesmerizing and gave us a whole new appreciation for the beauty of the area and how important it is to preserve it. Thanks for a day we will never forget!

Everything about this experience was special! The pilot Adriel was so friendly warm and knowledgeable. The restaurant for lunch was so much fun , great food and service. What memories we will keep from this incredible adventure.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. The views were unreal. We saw sea turtles, manitees, and a double rainbow 🌈 while in flight beyond the amazing views of the Keys and Miami Beach. So gorgeous. Our Captain was so fun and full of knowledge. The communication from booking to flight was super. So worth it!!

Great flight over the Florida Keys with stopover and lunch on 'Loreley' Island. The trip starts and ends in Miami, a short motorboat ride through Miami Harbour to and from the seaplane is included. Overall a great experience and highly recommended!

This trip was simply magical! We received it as a gift from friends for our bday and it was the best gift ever. This is the only seaplane authorized to fly at 500ft (most are at 2000ft) so we were w able to see sharks, stingrays, turtles, and coral. But what made the trip special was Captain Tony, who was the most lovable, knowledgeable and skilled pilot and taught us so much about what we were seeing. We will definitely do this again if Captain Tony is flying!!

Surprised my wife for our 14th anniversary - Once we parked, we took a boat ride out to the plane (she thought the boat ride itself was the surprise because Tony was a great tour guide!). Got into the plane and raced Tony in his boat as we took off. Our captain, Adriel, was absolutely amazing - we flew at around 200-300 feet on the way to Upper Mayecumbe Key so we could see sea turtles, manatees, sharks (including a hammerhead!). Adriel was such an amazing and entertaining guide … I’ve lived in Florida for most of my life and I learned a lot. I also have only ever seen 2 sea turtles in the wild (even though Boating is a normal occurrence for me) and we saw dozens of them!! Some clusters with babies! The ride itself was very comfortable- I was expecting it to be very hot, but the plane was well vented and breezy the entire time. Adriel took his time getting to the restaurant giving us plenty of opportunity to take in the views. The food and service was great and we were able to enjoy our meal, the view from the beach, and a few cocktails. I was expecting the ride back to be shorter as described by other reviews, but it was almost an hour as Adriel circled some sharks for us to see as well as gave us incredible views of the city. Adriel clearly loves his job and makes the entire experience that much more amazing. 10/10 will do again!! Absolutely worth every penny!

I LOVED Miami Seaplanes! They took us down from miami all the way to key west, with a bit of snorkeling thrown in. They were super professional, sweet, fun, and it was gorgeous! It's the only reasonable way to get down to the keys; I wouldn't travel any other way! From the sky you could see sharks, dolphins, rays and more, and it was an experience I'll never forget!

If you think this looks fun at all you should definitely book it!! It was an absolute blast!! You can see everything from miles. Tony is a well experienced pilot who got his license in the 1970s. He was a joy to talk to while we were flying to the lunch. My wife loved it as well. Thanks for the memories for our 20 year anniversary!

An absolutely incredible, unforgettable time! Adrial knew so much about the area between Miami and the Keys and made my daughter and I completely comfortable flying on a seaplane for the first time! I cannot stress enough what an amazing experience this was! The customers at the restaurant are quite intrigued when you arrive by plane and many got up and waved bye! We saw so many sharks and a giant sea turtle down below! BOOK IT❤️

I loved it both my partner and I are in aviation so I booked this for V-day! That being said We felt supper rushed... Fly town to the keys get off quickly eat to fly back... If I would have had an option to pay slightly more to enjoy my self! Also the meal voucher is $50 dollars we understand the listing said this how ever its not obvious within the ticket information.... for 2 people it was almost $900 the meal should have been completely included. Overall I would do this again

A very cool trip to take. I say YOLO (you only live once) type. The views were amazing from the plane. You meet at the dock and a gentleman will drive you 5-10 min out in the water by boat to meet the plane. From there you jump in and take off. About 45 min to you land in the water to pull up to eat at a restaurant. Everyone is looking at you at the restaurant because you pulled up in a plane! The food was good (bar food) and the drinks were cheap. $50 credit is applied so you cover anything over that. I bought a couple of drinks , 2 meals and app and I owed $20 on top. Then come back for another 40 min or so back. On the way back you are flying at 2k ft vs coming down around 1k ft.

Had a great experience! Our pilot was informative but definitely not “too much” we ate lunch at the drop off, and food and drinks were great! The experience was a surprise for my husband and the man that took us to the plane was really good at keeping it under wraps until we got to the seaplane. Felt really safe and looked after the entire time and just a really good experience overall. Would definitely use them again for another trip, and 100% recommending to everyone i know. Our wives put this awesome day- trip adventure together and I feel compelled to write an inspirational review of our experience. DO IT, Book the flight!!! The owner Tony and his Son Adriel, are incredibly talented, SAFE, and passionate about flying and bringing this experience to you. They were consummate professional Pilots. Water flying is something everyone should experience. Four of us booked 2 planes, Cessna 172’s on floats. The father son team flew us to key west where we lunched at louie’s backyard, and then walked duval st. Before returning to Miami at sunset. What a day! What an adventure! This was the best flight, event, excursion, I have ever experienced. A quality service. The flight was amazing. The pilot, Tony, the owner of the company, was exceptional. One of the best experiences ever. The views of nature are absolutely incredible including seeing sharks, turtles, manatees, ducks flying in formation below the plane. As well as blue waters, water currents, island formation, rain falling, etc. The perspective of what surrounds us changes when you see it from above. The plane is very stable. The guide (Adrian) very knowledgeable. Only let down was perhaps the spot were we had lunch. It is of good quality but nothing special.

Top notch operation from start to finish . The Pilot , Tony was very nice , made sure we were comfortable . he took good care of us , talked to us the whole time explaining what we were seeing . we spotted three Dolphins feeding and saw some Stingrays . Our stop for lunch was great ,the food was awesome drinks cold and the staff very nice .Flying back into the city was a great sight and landing next to the cruise ships . We would do this again without thought .

Amazing trip to Key West with Miami Seaplane Tours. The flight was fabulous and we saw lots of marine life on the way including sea turtles, sharks, manta ray, stingrays and whales. Key West was busy but still felt relaxed and friendly. Tony, our pilot, was so knowledgeable and informative that the whole day was a complete success. Tony even circled so we could see some manatees which made our day! I know the price is on the expensive side (especially for just a couple) but so worth it. Don’t hesitate to book - you will have a once in a lifetime experience!

This is one of the most fun things that my husband and I have ever done. Our pilot Tony was wonderful. He pointed out everything to us, had lots of history to share, answered all of our questions. Our lunch was good, but you are not “paying”for the lunch. Yes it is included, but it is just a normal restaurant in the Keys. The snapper was wonderful. Take this trip, it was super fun!

My wife became the envy of all her friends.<br/> From the BEGINNING my first phone call to make to book our tour the agent was kind and incredibly helpful.<br/> But what truly made it memorable was the PILATE. He was so knowledgable and his passion for flying and his environment was everywhere. He gave us a tour something that we did not expect. I thought he would just fly us to the island, we would eat and fly us back. Instead he not only gave us headphones and put on relaxing music so that we wouldn't be bothered by the sound of the aircraft, he also gave us an amazing tour.... <br/> The restaurant was also exceptional. The food was fresh and beyond delicious. The service at the restaurant was warm and inviting. I can't thank you all enough....<br/> I will absolutely recommend this over and over again. Great adventure, magnificent views, super-friendly crew :-) I highly recommend it. Maybe the only, slight disadvantage is limited time in Key West... We arrived at 12:45 and had to leave at 4:30. Worth every penny!

This was a great experience,our pilot Adriele was fantastic, friendly and provided excellent commentary for our trip. The dining experience could be improved but that wasn't the key to the trip. Would highly recommend this trip, yes it is costly but you wouldn't see what we have seen by driving and or a boat charter.

<p>It was windy when we arrived at the airport. Minutes later our plane, a De Havilland Beaver built in 1952, landed on the water. Seaplane keeps the plane in an excellent condition. <br/> We flew from Miami to Islamorada and landed in front of the restaurant. The other people were there by boat we came with a seaplane and everyone wanted to take pictures.<br/> The trip has fulfilled our expectations to the fullest. We never will forget this adventure. Our thank goes to our pilot Toni. He gave us enough information and we also have enjoyed the quite moments just looking at the sea and some of celebritys villas. <br/> We always felt safe, the plane is stable and we like to recommend this trip. Tour increíble, vistas hermosas, comida rica en la isla morada, vale totalmente la pena. Dura todo el Tour como 3 horas, te llevan en una lancha al seallane y de ahi a comer a la isla, estas 1 hora aprox en la isla y de regreso a la lancha. Maravilloso.
