Sea Screamer Clearwater's Only Speed Boat Dolphin Watching

We rode the Sea Screamer in Clearwater in July 2026 and it was an enjoyable ride. The skipper and his mate were enthusiastic and knowledgeable and made the trip more the just a ride in a boat. We saw Dolphins and lot’s of Dolphin and when the boat shifts it shifts. Only downside is the car park gets busy so be prepared to park in the surrounding area. I would recommend for a morning or an afternoon out. Enjoyed it.

The last time we did this everyone got wet and it was fast and so worth it. This last time was slow, and not worth it. The workers were very nice but the ride it self this time not worth it

Was a great experience we saw alot of dolphins. Both the captain and Brad were awesome and helped find the dolphins. Definitely recommend.

Sea Screamer Dolphin Adventure – An Unforgettable Experience What an absolutely brilliant trip aboard the Sea Screamer! A massive thank you to our captains Brad and Connor, who were both brilliant! They were extremely knowledgeable about the local area and made the whole trip entertaining with their funny little jokes and great sense of humour. The dolphins certainly didn’t make things easy for them and seemed determined to play hide-and-seek! But Brad and Connor never gave up searching, and their persistence certainly paid off! We were treated to an absolutely amazing sight! As the boat travelled at just the right speed, the dolphins began jumping, leaping and playing in the boat’s wake. Watching them surf the waves behind us was truly magical and something we will never forget! Brad and Connor went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fantastic experience. Definitely one of the highlights of our Florida holiday! Thank you both for the laughs, the memories and an incredible experience. We would highly recommend the Sea Screamer to anyone visiting Florida!

Captain Scott and Brad did a great job. Made us all feel welcome. And they did an amazing job finding the dolphins who performed a spectacular show. Dolphins were bodysurfing the wake two at a time. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience. A knoweldgable, professional and personable crew. Great close up of dophins jumping right up next to the boat riding the boat wake. The speed boat gets us quickly to where the dolphins are, plus adds another bit of fun.

Absolutely amazing and worth doing in clearwater! If you're going on a later ride, be prepared for sun exposure.

Had a great time on the screamer! It is faster than the other sight seeing boats so that is a plus to start! The Capt. Scott and soon to be Capt. Brandon were wonderful guides. Down to earth, with a mixed sense of knowledge and humor. Capt. Scott even let our 7 yr. old "drive" the boat! Most importantly we saw quite a few dolphins doing amazing dolphin things!

We booked to do this in August during a 3 day mini stay in Clearwater before heading to Orlando. Easy to book and found the tkt booth with no problems. The crew were super helpful and friendly and do a great family photo before boarding. S A great hour on the speedboat with really great informative commentary from the skipper. Talked all about the area, where the dolphins would be and their habitat and ensured we saw loads of dolphins. Loved it when he backed the boat up and gave it full throttle so the dolphins would jump out the water in the boats wake. Even better they sell iced cold drinks and a decent price. Fully recommend this trip if you like boats, dolphins or both.

Booked en route to Clearwater Beach from Orlando. Easy to book & confirmation was instant. Parked above surf shop in Clearwater 20$ all day. Easy to find ticket booth for seascreamer. Set off just after noon & had great hours trip on the boat . Saw Clearwater Beach & beyond with guided information along the way. Dolphins a plenty followed the boat too. If you are in Clearwater with kids get this trip on your agenda.

It was a great experience. The crew was amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. Dolphin sightings were also amazing and it’s a must in tie trip.

Captain and crew were so fun!! Wasn’t a lot of activity until we saw dine and they saw us!! They started jumping and showing off and it was glorious!! Then the Captain sped the boat and they followed and gave us a show! The BEST boat to go on if you want an up close dolphin interaction!!

Fantastic boat trip. We booked ahead of time and found it easily and checked in at the slipway. Had two lovely gents leading our tour who managed to spot a dolphin feeding in the bay, which was lovely. Then we managed to see a baby and mum who jumped and played in the large wake of the boat. We got amazing views and it's something we will all remember forever. Would easily book again and recommend Sea Screamer to anyone looking to view dolphins in their natural habitat.

Disappointing didn’t go fast at all We have done these boats many times and they usually have portion of the hour doing fast runs where it’s thrilling the name of the boat is sea Scream yet no one was screaming for sure Would not recommend

We have been fortunate to do this experience on many occasions and have never had a bad experience, this trip was a great one again and seeing the dolphins in their natural habitat, well done to the team at the Sea Screamer.

Captain Myles & his co-captain were great tour guides! We didn’t see any dolphins for the first part of the trip, so enjoyed the speedboat tour on the gulf. However, towards the end of our trip, dolphins galore! We even stayed out a bit longer so we could see all the dolphins. We had a great time and would definitely go again!

Its very pleasant and when you do finally see the dolphins, its quite exciting and magical! There are several providers of this experience so the capts of the boats work together for the good of the customers. Sea Screamer is a speed boat so you are able to quickly move out to deeper waters to locate dolphins. Be advised that You are FULLY exposed to the sun for the entire experience so pack your hat, sunblock, and/or spf clothing! The intense heat from sun exposure for made the experience good but not great which is why I gave 4 stars however my family loved it!

Meh… there is NO sea screaming! The ride is slightly faster than a pontoon. We were disappointed about that. We did see dolphins, that part was nice. Side show… The kid that helps the captain played with his hair so much that we laughed about it. Dude!! Don’t go in August, it’s way too hot.

Our captain, Bob knew all the right places and had a whole pod of dolphins catching our waves!!! Tammy was a great guide and kept everything fun! We had a blast as a group feeling the breeze from the speed boat ride.

The dolphin sightings were unreal, with plenty of opportunities to see them up close in their natural habitat. It was an unforgettable experience for the whole family. The kids had so much fun from start to finish and loved the excitement of the speed boat ride. The crew were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt safe while keeping the atmosphere fun and entertaining throughout. If you're visiting Clearwater and looking for something exciting to do, I couldn't recommend Sea Screamer highly enough. A perfect family adventure and one of the highlights of our trip!

My best friend and I had a great time! The crew was friendly, the ride was fun, and we loved seeing the dolphins. I gave it 4 stars because it took a little while to get started, but overall it was a great experience.

your going to get wet sitting in the back. had a great time. my daughter and granddaughters got to see dolphins and I enjoyed watching them !!! I have been on the sea screamer 4 times the first two I did not see dolphins but these last two times was a great show

The captain and first mate were both amazing and had fun personalities and they made the trip totally worth it!

It was an awesome ride and we were able to spot some Dolphins. The Captain was able get them to play in the wake of the boat and they jumping out of the water while following us.

Amazing trip! Captain Scot and Tammy were amazing giving us the best view of the dolphins, even keeping us 20minutes longer to make the most of it! Really reasonable and would definitely recommend.

Very fun trip out of Clearwater. Boat goes the right speed to cool you off but not too scary for our 7 year old. Great staff but they didn't tell us where the boat was docked when we picked up our tickets so we were waiting in the wrong place and almost missed it. Highly recommend.

Traveled with Granddaughter and had the best time of our lives. First mate Haley and Captain Wcott did an amazing job and the dolphins performed admirably.
