Sea Screamer Boat Cruise In Clearwater Beach With Transport

The whole trip was pretty much dreadful, even before it started. I booked the speedboat sea screamer dolphin trip for me and my partner and the afternoon before the trip I was sent an email saying the sea screamer wouldn’t be running however they could rebook us on a dolphin cruise which in their words was ‘pretty much the same experience’. I was told if I wasn’t happy I would only be given a partial refund not a full refund which I feel was pretty unfair given the speedboat was the whole point of the excursion. Reluctantly I agreed as we had committed the day to it despite knowing it was a speedboat I had paid for not, what was in essence, a ferry. Having been on the sea screamer before on a previous visit it was a completely different experience. Was told we had to be there 10/15 mins early but the bus arrived 20 mins late so we waited 40 mins in the car park. The journey there was fine in a comfortable coach however our guide had no idea about the boat trips till we asked him after we arrived. He then guided us to the pier where again nothing seemed organised and no one really knew what was happening but we got it sorted in the end. The cruise itself as I suspected was nothing like the speedboat and we never seen a single dolphin and all we got offered was a free ride next time which is no good for people who aren’t local and or on holiday etc. At the very least we should’ve been offered our money back for the boat aspect of the trip considering they moved the goal posts at the last minute and we never seen any dolphins. Trip was advertised as 2 hours but was actually 90 mins. Upon boarding the bus again we were laughably handed a post card to review the trip and upon scanning the QR code it immediately took us to a page to tip the guides? You’d think they’d at last ask us how the trip was before trying to extract even more money from us. We were also told to make sure we were on the bus 10/15 mins early to avoid traffic going home however we had to wait half an hour after the scheduled departure time due to a family being late which meant we left Clearwater at 4pm and didn’t get back till well after 7pm which meant we missed dinner reservations with our families. If people don’t make the departure time they should be left behind as their time isn’t anymore important than ours. Really bad sign when the highlight of the entire trip was the thunderstorms visible from the bus windows. Won’t be using this company again poor service and not worth it.

Viator caused me a lot of unneeded stress on this trip. They told me to be ready to be picked up by 7:50 a.m. I was there in plenty of time and no one came to pick us up until 8:30 am. After reaching out numerous times they finally got back to me in chat and said the driver was on his way but had no ETA. I was concerned because according to the itinerary they sent me, our boat was supposed to leave at 8:00 a.m. it's now 8:30 a.m. and we haven't even been picked up yet. Once the driver got there, he informed me that viator misled me in their description of the itinerary. He said that we would spend the next 2 and 1/2 hours driving in the bus to get to Clearwater Beach. And that we probably would not be boarding the boat until 12:00 or 12:30 pm. The driver was exceptional and next time I'm going to skip booking through viator and go directly to Gray line tour. They seem to have a clearer understanding of of the times and they respond a lot faster. Very disappointed in the poor communication from viator as well as their misleading description in the itinerary they sent me.

Had a great day Our driver Mauricio Sanchez was fabulous, we were picked up on time , he was friendly and nothing was too much trouble , which made the day enjoyable as he gave us lots of information about Clearwater when we arrived. Clearwater is beautiful.

We booked the Clearwater beach tour before we went to Florida and communication with Grayline regarding pick up etc was excellent. We were told exactly when and where to meet the coach, the tour guide kept us informed at all times about the trip and we all really enjoyed our day. We booked the seascreamer boat trip which did not disappoint as we got to see dolphins. We also booked the lunch option and the guide met us aftet the boat trip to give us our vouchers for this. It was very well organised and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of booking a trip

We had a great time on the Sea Screamer! The crew was amazing and the experience was definitely worth it. We got to see so many dolphins on the trip and it was a good way to keep cool even in that Florida heat between the wind and the ocean mist. Would highly recommend!

It was a beautiful sunny day. We went out on the boat and traveled fast and slow. We saw alot of dolphins. They had music playing and beverages available for purchase. The driver was informative about the surroundings and kept it light and amusing. I've been on boats my whole life and can tell you the captain was a careful and experienced driver. There was a crew of two others as well. A very enjoyable afternoon. I would do this again and if I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Lots of fun! Would do it again. Make sure to cover up because you’re in the sun and there’s barely any cover if at all.

we had a pod of dolphins giving a display in the surf and there were 2 baby dolphins in the pod. the captain was very good and the boat trip was excellent

Absolutely amazing - if you do one thing in Clearwater. Do this ! Was fabulous one of the best tours I've been on. Plenty of dolphins and some great local knowledge as well

Watching the multiple dolphins, jumping in and out of the week of the speedboat was amazing to see up close. We had an amazing time. The only downside was I was hoping it would last a little longer since some of the trip in areas didn’t make it as thrilling as it could have been so I feel like the trip should be extended another 15 minutes in the open waters and ideally do a little more turning to allow a little more thrill with water, splashing, etc.

This was a very fun excursion! The boat captains were very knowledgeable and funny. Our kids loved the boat and we did see dolphins. I liked that it was only an hour. Would definitely recommend.

Being out on the open water for the first time with my son! Seeing dolphins out in their natural habitat! What amazing animals!!! The captain & crew made this such an exciting, memorable experience!!!

Greg was an excellent host for Grayline and the driver did a great job. Captain Mike a crew were also great.

Fantastic ride you see the Dolphins jumping in the wake of the speed boat. Its a must ride. To add to this you get to ride in a huge speed boat.

The two tour guides did a fantastic job. We got an amazing dolphin show. Plus some great dad jokes!

Amazing day trip, was out just over an hour so we got to see the Dolphins. It was amazing and the drinks on board are good value.

Booking was easy. Crew was great. Dolphin viewing was amazing. Seen them many times and this was by far the best. Four dolphins jumping the wake the best. So many dolphins and very close.

The boat ride was great, got to see quite a few dolphins which was awesome. We were supposed to get a lunch voucher but never received it so that was pretty disappointing.

When they say that it's going to be fast and you need to hold on to your glasses and phones and stuff then you need to do something. It was quite boring. Would not recommend it

We’ve been coming to Clearwater for the past 12 years and we tried pretty much all boats on the Marina but the sea screamer has been our favorite. Dolphins like it’s waves and they sure come for a show, the speed of the boat makes your hats fly high and ladies you’ll have a new hair do. So enjoy the wind and the waves. It’s the best.

We went on this trip only because another boat we were booked onto had engine failure. We were only there for the day and to avoid disappointing the children the man in the booking booth said there were spaces on his boat. We were certainly glad we went. The commentary was good. Sometimes we went fast ( but not too fast for young children) and sometimes slowly. We saw dolphins and then out at sea the Clearwater sea front. The most amazing part of the tour though was when the boat deliberately went fast at a particular spot and the dolphins were jumping and body surfing in the waves . It was wonderful to see these wild animals obviously doing this for fun. Thank you Sea Screamer.

We went out on this trip today, going with an open mind and some of our party unsure of boats. We were all surprised the boat didn’t rock that much and the captain and first mate were helpful and informative. And as guaranteed we saw Dolphins and they followed the boat jumping in the wake of the boat. An enjoyable hour out on the boat.

<p>This tour helps you get out of Orlando for a day if you dont have a car. The driver was rude and barley dropped people off at their hotels.</p>

<p>I liked this tour a lot as we got so much free time to do whatever we wanted in Clearwater, and the Sea Screamer boat was super fun! Due to weather conditions, our noon ride was delayed 'til 2pm, but it was worth the wait. There were so many dolphins sighted! And the captain new just how to get the dolphins to swim along with the boat. They also have some pretty sweet music blasting for most of the ride, with drinks available for purchase. I definitely recommend!</p>
