My first time ever kayaking and for my husband it was his first time in a long time. Great experience, the trees canopying over the canal were great to enjoy cool temperatures. We would do it again no doubt. Katrina, the owner and guide, was very knowledgeable. She made the experience wonderful!

Beautiful row in the Dora canal. We kayaked to the local eatery and the food was very good. Would definitely recommend
The lady who helped us was very nice and welcoming. The kayak experience was definitely worth it, and we had a great time out on the water for four hours.
Everything about our kayak rental was great. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. They were great to tell us everything we would see and what to look for. I would definitely rent from them again!
Great guided tour of the Dora canal with plenty of birdwatching!
We paddled the Dora canal on a day following 14 inches of rain in Mount Dora. Katrina was great! She sent us on our way after making sure the canal was clear and safe and offered to pick us up anytime if it wasn’t. Great paddle! Saw beautiful birds and a few baby alligators! Two thumbs up!
Great view of the scenic canal took the entire 4 hours and went by so fast. We saw many of the wild life shown on our map! would definitely recommend
My son and I completed the fly out/paddle in trip on Monday, 6-16-25. Katrina was the guide for kayaking the Dora Canal. She was very friendly and had a wealth of knowledge about the area and its wildlife. In addition to different birds we did see some turtles and several alligators. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
The experience was so cool and our guide Katrina was so nice and helpful. The views of going down the canals and lakes were beautiful and idyllic. Was such a lovely experience couldn’t recommend enough.
I took my friend for her birthday to have a little adventure. It was so much fun and we are planning to do it again. The staff was very friendly and helpful and keeps you updated with storm tracking. We loved it!
Kayaking down the Dora canal with my husband and two small boys was absolutely an amazing adventure. We have never kayaked before and it was easy to catch on and the views were breathtaking. We had great instruction and the nap was easy to read. Bring water and snacks.
Awesome! great spot here in the canal between lake mount Dora and lake Eustis it was the weekend so a lot of boats in the canal but very friendly to kayaks. Stopped at Fish Camp restaurant great food and beer, looking forward to visiting again!
Group of 3 couples ages 30-60 years old. Had a fabulous adventure. We saw a variety of wildlife including a manatee & eagle. Highly recommend. Had some boat traffic in the canal but all were friendly and waved at us in the kayaks.
Nice canal paddle go early in morning yo avoid boat traffic on canal.Beautiful cypress and birds along the way.Staff great at paddle kiosk very helpful. Throughly enjoyed the half day trip.
The 2 hour tandem kayak trip was incredibly tranquil and scenic. Saw many wading birds. A couple homes has interesting gnome villages. Katrina saw us off in a friendly, helpful and upbeat way. We’ll be back.
The owner of the business is very experienced and caring about us. The kayaking experience is memorable. Kids loved it.
We had an outstanding day kayaking and wildlife watching in the Dora Canal! The kayaks were comfortable, the staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Just hanging out as a family. Seeing wildlife and not consumed by electronics. Very peaceful. Loved it. Thanks Katrina! Had a great time. Made some wonderful memories with my sons.
Seeing nature enjoying the quiet environment from every day life it is a great getaway from all the things we do every day
This was absolutely gorgeous place to paddle and Katrina who was a person of contact the sweetest nicest lady. Loved it here.
Great kayaks and paddles and great service too! The canal view is great, we went on a busy Saturday, so many boats around.
We went with another couple. We had a great time. Katrina was very helpful and accommodating. It was a relaxing paddle. Beautiful scenery on the river. We saw lots of birds. Very fair price. We've already recommended them to friends and family.
We enjoyed your Dora Canal experience immensely. It was peaceful first thing and was beginning to build up through the paddle. We were the only people on our trip so we got to really enjoy the experience. Katrina was a fantastic guide, she had a lot of knowledge about the area and the wildlife. She worked hard at spotting things for us to see, and we had a lot of respect for her attitude towards the waterways generally. For a spur of the moment Labour Day weekend excursion we couldn't have chosen better and would definitely recommend others give it a go!
Great experience wonderful lady so helpful and nice beautiful views kayaked to a nice lunch place lots of animals
Friendly great service would definitely do it again! Economical, had everything ready for us. Bring water it is hot!
Thank you Katrina for the great trip, we are still talking about the afternoon we spent on the Dora Canal,, peaceful, tranquil, energizing, spectacular, and educational...... the best thing we did on our trip to Mt Dora, even have a new blue shirt!
We really enjoyed kayaking through the canal. It was a very fun and adventurous kayaking experience. Would definitely recommend to friends and repeat in the future.
Easy to make reservations online and super friendly staff at kayak pick-up location. Dora Canal is tranquil for the most part although there are boats that meander through, but it's a NO WAKE zone. We paddled into a side inlet that was very serene and provided a true Florida swamp experience. We did spot some wild life including gators, heron, cranes, and Anhinga birds!
Such a fun outdoor activity in Lake County! Highly recommend and a great way to see the local wildlife.
The canal is quiet yet alive with small chirping birds and all kinds of herans and storks. very lovely with hanging moss. power boats do pass, but they are going slowing. in between them it is magical. One of the prettiest kayak trips i have been on. it was a windy day, so we started in a park off the canal to avoid wind on the lake. there was no wind on the canal because of the tall trees. Drop and pickup was very friendly and efficinet hihly recomend. no kayak experience necessay
Katrina was extremely helpful. She did far more than she had to. I recommend Adventure Paddle to everyone.
This was a really nice adventure in the Dora Canal! We used the 4 hours to comfortably drive through the canal and a side arm (in which no motorboats were allowed) to Lake Eustis. We were traveling slowly, listening to the sounds of nature and seeing many animals (birds, turtles, even an alligator). We are mediocrely experienced in kayaking and managed well. There were many motorboats on Saturday afternoon, but everyone was very considerate and friendly and the canal is wide enough at all points to pass each other. At Fish Camp Lake Eustis we took a refreshing break with live music and some snacks. That was just right that we were able to tackle the way back quite quickly (about 1h). Before heading home there was an ice cream at Poppys Icecream in town - super delicious! We were accompanied by Adventure Outdoor Paddle very well, the equipment was perfect for our needs, everything worked out well. I can only recommend this adventure!
