Sassy’s Silver Springs Kayak And Paddleboard Tours

This was well worth the drive! Beautiful springs and saw so many animals. Ryan was an excellent guide!

Ryan was very friendly and knowledgeable with a sharp eye for gators. The clear boats are very cool.

We booked a group tour but ended up having a private tour as it seemed no-one else wanted to kayak at the hottest part of the day! The water was thankfully very cooling and there was plenty of shade on the way around. Ryan was a great guide, although some of the jokes were not so great, haha! He knew a lot about the history and the wildlife of the area, and kept us entertained.

We first went on this adventure in July of 2025. It was a last minute adventure that my wife found. I was a bit skeptical given that she found it on what looked to me like a sketchy site. When we first arrived we were looking for the place to meet our guide and saw a large group lining up for kayaks. we joined in line only to find out that this was another company and were told to go back to another area about 100 yards away. We did and saw two guys who looked like guides and only 6 kayaks (there were four of us). I was immediately groaning internally thinking we got some unpopular small company. But having already paid and figuring that kayaking is kayaking we went along. What a GREAT decision that was because this was the BEST adventure we had on our whole FL vacation. I will just say this first to get it out of the way. The location, scenery, wildlife and water were incredible but we would have experienced that regardless of the company we went with. What we would not have gotten with any other company was Brad Mullins, likely the most amazing guide we have ever experienced on any guided tour we have been on. His knowledge and recall of information about the river, from ecology, to history, from legends to science was spectacular. He was funny, personable and made us feel like we had been family all our lives. I HIGHLY recommend this tour and are already planning our return this coming summer. UPDATE: We just went a second time (August 2026), were able to schedule our trip with Brad as guide, and the experience was even better than last year! Our meet up was exactly the same. NOTE: before you meet Brad you have to go hut and pay for your park passes (separate fee from Sassy's and is $4 per adult). Once that is paid the guide will direct you to select your kayak and then you will carry it down to the ramp (about 100-200 feet) and then you are off and running. The water is crystal clear throughout the whole trip enabling you to see clearly to the bottom even in the deepest spots which are over 30 feet deep. This trip we saw 8 manatees, many alligators, tons of monkeys, a river otter, and so many other wildlife sightings we could not keep track. We will do this every time we come to Orlando and HIGHLY recommend this.

What an incredible experience this guided tour was! The wildlife and beautiful scenery was only elevated by our tour guide’s expansive knowledge of the area, animals and history of Silver Springs (thank you again rad Brad!!). If you’re looking for a memorable experience and fun things to do in the area, this is definitely something you have to check out.

Brad was an amazing, knowledgeable, and charitable guy. We lucked out to be his only group for the morning. We were able to enjoy the river peacefully and got to see many amazing creatures of the wild. Thank you Brad for sharing your knowledge with us.

Sassy’s is an outstanding company and Brad is a fantastic tour guide. So knowledgeable and experienced, he was amazing with the kids and we learned so much. Highly recommend this tour and especially ask for Brad if you really want to learn about the area. Will definitely be back

Ryan was EXCELLENT!! We had a 3pm tour set up and it ended up being just myself, my husband and our 2 girls. We were able to slowly enjoy the springs, ask question and even hang out with “Devine” as she grazed in a little cove. Ryan was very knowledgeable and the tour was amazing. He not only took picture of what we saw on the way, he did a family photo for us and sent it to us. We saw manatee, alligators, turtles and right as we finished up saw a monkey. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! We went in July (off season for master) but hopefully we we are back in the winter we can go again and see more!

Pipi is a knowledgeable and nice guide! We saw a lot of animals under her guidance like monkeys, alligators, and even a manatee in July. The tour lasted a bit beyond 2.5 hours. We learned a lot of interesting knowledge such as the history of Silver Spring and wildlife animals. It was definitely a worthy experience in summer Florida, and I recommend everyone to try!

Brad was amazing, so knowledgeable about everything out there. All our teen boys loved it and want to go back and do another trip out with him.

Oh my goodness’!!!! This was AMAZING, the BEST thing we did in Florida, what made this experience extra special was definitely Brad our guide , he was so passionate and knowledgeable about all the wild life and the area it’s was infections , his love for the manatees was heartwarming, his story was inspiring , we were a group from 9 years to 61 and we all had the best time ever!!!!

Brad was an amazing guide. He has a lot of knowledge about the wildlife, springs, and history. He taught us some new things and took photos for us. We were able to see a bunch of wildlife in their natural habitats. Would recommend bringing a change of clothes or bathing suits.

Had no expectations going in. Was pleasantly surprised with the wealth of knowledge our tour guide, Roman, had. He was knowledgeable and friendly. At many points of the tour, he pointed out all the differently wildlife without a doubt in his mind. He knew all the spots for a good photo op. Roman was more than willing to go out of his way when he heard there were monkeys around the corner and lead us there. He was calm and reassuring when a gator swim past us. Any and all questions I had during the tour, for which there was no shortage, he answered with confidence. His pacing left us without a sweat and in no rush. Would highly recommend.

The tour was amazing! Roman was great at teaching us all about the different plants, animals, and wildlife during our tour. He also took photos for us and was super hospitable.

Silver Springs is definitely worth it! It was so beautiful and all the wildlife I saw were, literally, paid actors. An alligator even jumped out of the water and ate a fish….super cool! Ryan was a super cool tour guide and made it fun and informative!

This is the 2nd time in as many years, a must do experience when in the Orlando area. Our guide this year was super knowledgeable and funny.

We had a 2 hr wildlife tour with Ryan. He is so informative and kind. We get to see manatee, alligators, fish, turtles and birds. Ryan also helps us take pictures and share with us. Would definitely recommend friends to visit here.

We visited Sassys T-shirt store. She Has great designs to customize your t-shirts and hoodies. I will go back tomorrow to get kid t- shirts. She has a great eye and good quality t-shirts, and beach gifts.

My wife and I had an amazing kayak trip at Silver Springs, Florida guided by Kayaking with Sassy. The scenery alone was worth the trip, but what really made the experience stand out was our guide, Brad Mullins. We saw two manatees even though it is past the usual season for seeing them, we would have missed them altogether if Brad hadn't been guiding us. From start to finish, he was friendly, knowledgeable and made my wife feel comfortable on the water. He shared so many interesting facts about the wildlife and the springs and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. He took lots of photos and videos for us and his enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend requesting Brad by name when you make your reservation. He went above and beyond for us—even coming in on his day off to make sure we had a great experience. That kind of dedication is hard to find and made our trip truly memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water!

We went on a tour yesterday with Ryan from Sassy’s. It was a fantastic afternoon, we ended up with a private tour. Ryan was excellent - very friendly and informative and ensured we had the best time possible. Would highly recommend.

10/10 experience. Roman was great tour guide. Wasn’t that expensive. 2 hours flew by, we learned a lot. Wasn’t too busy especially for a Monday. Super great atmosphere and vibe. Definitely great for families.

Hands down, the best day! Brad my tour guide, truly made my experience 10/10. Very kind, sociable, and a wealth of information about the river and springs. I learned so much- and so did others on the river who tried to tag along, lol, as they found Brad’s information intriguing. During my last hour (opted to do alone), others on the river were asking for Brad’s name so they too could book and tour! Hands down, Brad is the best, and truly made my day unforgettable.

Roman was a great guide. He was very patient and knowledgeable. I would definitely do it again but in peak season to see the manatees. We did see some otters that were awesome.

5 Star Experience with Brad as our tour guide! Our tour included my husband and I, our son, daughter in law and 6 and 8 year old Grandchildren. Brad's passion and understanding and explanation of the wildlife and eco system of Silver Springs was outstanding. He answered all of our questions (and there were a lot) so everyone could understand. He extended our tour while we looked for a Manatee and he found Devine tucked away sleeping! Brad went above and beyond to make this a "Memory Maker" for us all. Take the guided tour with Brad!

This was an amazing tour! Brad was terrific! We can't say enough good things. Not only was Brad knowledgeable, patient, and personable, it was just a beautiful experience to be in nature, see so much wildlife, and get on the water in this way. Brad went above and beyond and clearly loves what he does. We felt so lucky to have chosen Sassy's Kayak Tour and have Brad as our guide. It was an experience we'll always remember.

Considering how busy the paddle area was, there was a bit of confusion. We also got a late start BUT once in the water with our excellent guide Donovan, we were glad we took the adventure. We saw monkeys, turtles, a plethora of birds, manatees and gators.Highly recommend Sassy’s!

AMAZING!!! BRAD was the best tour guide, even the other tour guides on the river were telling us we had the best! The directions from the reservations and text from Brad lead us right to the spot to meet, easy! Brad gave all the instructions and provided us with everything we needed, then helped us all into the river. Brad knew where to take us to see alligators, birds, outer, snakes, monkeys, birds, turtles, and of course manatee! Our family made amazing memories that will last a lifetime. We loved kayaking silver springs. It is one of the most beautiful and interesting parks we have ever been to. There is wildlife everywhere you look including all sorts of birds, alligators, turtles, monkeys, fish, AND manatees. Our tour guide Brad Mullins was extremely passionate about the park and wildlife. He was extremely knowledgeable about the park itself and its history. His love and knowledge for the wildlife were evident. All of this combined made for an awesome father/son kayaking adventure!

This tour has been the highlight of my trip to Northern Florida thus far. Brad is an absolute encyclopedia with the flora and fauna; we saw a dozen alligators, too many birds to count adding 6 new birds to my Merlin life count, Divine the manatee, and an entire troop of monkeys. Not only was Brad incredibly knowledgeable but he was kind, delivering passion and environmental stewardship with every story. I 100% will book with Sassy and Brad again. Sassy was incredibly accommodating when my initial trip didn't work out. Next time we will do the Chaz and try to steal Brad for a full day.

Wonderful tour with Sassy 's! Our guide Ryan really made the tour special by going above and beyond with personally moving our kayaks into the water, helping us in, and being sure newbies were comfortable with using paddles.
