Saint Petersburg Paddle Board Tour

We had a fantastic time! Louisa is a wonderful tour guide (and master paddle boarder) who filled our time with fun facts, great conversation, and an easy-going experience. Neither of us had paddle boarded before and she coached us to proficiency with ease. The water was calm, and while not all of the wildlife wanted to come say hi, we had a great time nonetheless. Will definitely be recommending this tour in the future!

We had such a great time on our paddleboard tour! Louisa was fantastic—very communicative, confirmed day-of, and made sure we had clear directions to the meeting spot. She was wonderful with my teenage daughters and shared some fun facts and history about St. Pete and the Coffee Pot Bayou. She came prepared with water and sunscreen and even took some awesome photos of the group, which she shared with us afterward. I really appreciated that she asked for consent before posting anything on social media—a thoughtful and professional touch. We were lucky enough to see several manatees and even a solo dolphin enjoying the inlet. It was also really cool to see Bird Island up close. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fun, relaxed outing on the water with someone who really knows their stuff!

I try to squeeze in some SUP wherever I travel if possible, so was delighted to find Doo’s tour on Viator. Although we didn’t see any dolphins this day, Bird Island was amazing and I enjoyed seeing neighborhoods from the water. She did a great job navigating us around, was prepared with water for us to drink as it was July, and took some great pics for me. Would definitely recommend.

Doo was so great! She was very knowledgeable about the plant and animal life as well as the local history. We booked our tour last minute, the night before, and are so glad we did. Doo was very accommodating when we got there with sunscreen and water for us and was willing to hold things like our phones and car keys, as well as waterproof phone holders. She also took lots of pictures for us! None of this was necessarily included, but she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend!

This was the first time my sister and I had been on a paddle board. Louisa was fantastic and patient with us. We had an amazing time paddling around the preserve area. We saw numerous species of birds and even some dolphins. Highly recommend this experience.

This was our first time paddleboarding and we had an amazing time! Our guide was helpful, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Paddleboarding was much easier than we expected, and our guide was flexible with how and where we wanted to paddle. We saw a dolphin and a ton of different birds at Bird Island, and even got to go out to the bay. This was the perfect first paddleboarding experience as well as a great tour for seasoned paddlers. Highly recommend and definitely worth it!

What a fabulous day with Louisa (Doo)! Such a warm personality. She made sure we were comfortable on our boards before heading out. Very knowledgeable not only about the paddle boarding area (birds, vegetation, fish, manatees and dolphins), but also about St. Petersburg in general. I feel very confident in not only booking another tour, but also recommending her to friends and family.

What a great way to spend the morning and the beginning of our vacation. Loved bird island! Louisa was super knowledgeable of the area and all the wild life. Relaxing pace and a great workout. I’d recommend this to anyone who needs a break from the beach.

Tour guide did a phenomenal job taking care of us and giving us noobies the time/pointers necessary to be successful. It was an overall relaxing, pleasurable experience and would recommend to others -Definitely plan around the peak hear hours however.

Louisa is an excellent paddleboard instructor and guide. She is knowledgeable in all manner of local flora and fauna, so it was educational as well! We were fortunate to encounter a devil ray, many manatees and scores of birds on bird island. The paddleboard trip was easily the most enjoyable outing of our vacation. I got this as a gift for my dad’s birthday and it was so much fun! Doo was incredibly knowledgeable about our local ecosystems and we had a great time highly recommend we even saw manatees!

We enjoyed our paddle boarding tour very much. Although complete newbies, we felt confident very soon. It was fun, relaxing, and a good exercise at the same time. We saw many bird spieces too. Louisa was wonderful and introduced us to the wildlife and historical sighs of the area. She also took wonderful pictures for us! We highly recommend this tour!

First timers on SUPs Our guide Louisa was very helpful in getting us comfortable on the boards. The area we paddled in was very calm which was perfect for newbies. We saw Manatees and variety of birds. Louisa was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the are. All in all, we had a blast!

Buck and Jackie were the best!! We took our three teens 14, 16, and 19 they all loved it! We didn’t get to see any manatee but did get up close to a couple of dolphins and several small rays. Highly recommended!

This was a great tour. Our guides, Buck and Jackie were great! They made us feel at ease right from the start. If you are intimidated of paddle boarding, you can sit the entire time! But the water is so calm, my son and I both stood easily. We saw so many animals…manatees, dolphin, pelicans, spoonbills, rays, turtles, heron! We will definitely do again as there are different locations.

What a Magical day! We went on Doo's paddle board tour this week and it was amazing! We saw so many manatees, birds and a couple of dolphins even greeted us. Seeing the manatees up close and in their natural habitat was so cool. We couldn't have asked for better guides - Jackie and Buck were very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and knew just what to look for as we were searching for wild life. This is a fantastic way to spend a couple of hours. Jackie and Buck were excellent instructors. Really friendly and helpful. We saw dolphins and manatees. The SUP was great fun. Jackie took loads of photos and videos for us. You don’t need to bring anything. Water is provided. Your valuables looked after. I can’t recommend highly enough. A great experience.

My wife and I booked this last minute. We wanted to try paddleboarding with experienced guides before purchasing our own boards. The weather, water, and wildlife conditions were perfect. Our guides Buck and Jackie were as well- knowledgeable, friendly, and chill. Our group was small, only 5 adults, but we blended very well. It was the most relaxing first-time experience we've ever had. We highly recommend this excursion.

This first-time paddle boarding senior citizen experienced a beautifully peaceful excursion in Coffee Pot Bayou with friendly, easy to like guides Jackie and Buck. I went with another first timer. I found Jackie and Buck to be delightful, thorough, and knowledgeable as they taught us how to navigate the paddle board experience. After a brief "how to" and words of advice on what to expect, they led us out, seated, into the water in search of manatees, rays, birds and whatever else may come our way. Jackie and Buck shared information on the creatures' habits, and shared genuine excitement when discovering them. After circling Bird Island and viewing up close and personal the numerous species there, with the breeze now at our backs we were reminded how to safely kneel, then stand up for a peaceful paddle back to the ramp. This progression was exactly in my comfort zone. (Others in our group who were more experienced stood, knelt, sat at will. ) Water, sunscreen, guidance and encouragement were offered. It was a good thing that they had already explained what to do if you lose your balance because - well, I did! I highly recommend Doo's Amazing Tours, under the youthful yet experienced eyes of Jackie and Buck, for anyone who wishes to try out the paddle board experience. What a peaceful and refreshing morning! GO DO IT!

Got to get fairly close to manatees and it was quite amazing. Excellent bird watching at bird is land as well. Tour guides were full of fun facts.

We went at the perfect time in spring and got to see: dolphins, manatees, and a bunch of really cool lookin birds. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Couldn't recommended this activity more its just an overall amazing experience

This tour was nothing short of magical! It was super convenient as were picked up at our hotel. Jackie and Buck were our guides for the day and they were awesome! So friendly and so knowledgeable. They were really top notch. They were able to teach us about all of the wildlife we saw and we saw A LOT. Birds, fish, turtles, manatee.... We had a manatee lead our tour for a bit which was awesome. As we traveled further we saw and were surrounded by so many beautiful manatees. I can’t think of anything that could have made this day better. 10 out of 10 and I can’t wait to do it again!

Jackie and Buck were so chill and easy going. I’ve always wanted to try paddle boarding and glad I did because it was definitely what I expected it to be and more! My sister and I loved it so much we decided to purchase tickets again for the next day. Now we are on the hunt to purchase our own boards!! Thank you so much Buck and Jackie! We had a great time! Jackie and Buck were fantastic guides, peppering the tour with fun bird and other native animal facts while also giving us freedom to paddle and explore. They also took pictures and sent them to us afterwards so we didn't have to risk getting our own phones wet.

My husband and I had an amazing time paddle boarding with Jackie & Buck as our tour guides. We saw a dolphin, manatee, sting rays and so many birds on bird island. They were great at telling us all about the animals and area, even suggestions for the best food (which was absolutely delicious). We will be booking more tours with them in the future.

My wife, son and I went on the tour with Jackie and Buck. All equipment provided and water for the trip. We were first timers and Jackie and Buck gave us good instruction. MY GOODNESS was this paddle boarding tour phenomenal! My mother and I joined Jackie and Buck at the Coffee Pot Park in St. Petersburg. My mother and I have no experience paddle boarding but Jackie and Buck taught us every single thing we needed to know before we got started! During the tour, Jackie and Buck told us all kinds of fun facts about the area, the animals and wildlife in the area and much more. They let us go at whatever pace we felt comfortable at and never made us kneel/stand on the paddle board until we were comfortable. On our trip we were so blessed to see DOZENS of manitees and even a dolphin! The manitees swam up to our boards, it was so amazing! Thank you again Doo’s Amazing Tours for an unforgettable trip❤️🐬

We had the best tour with Jackie and Buck! They took great care of us. We had a group of 6 women with varying stages of comfort with paddle boarding. About half of us had tried it before and half had never tried it. They made it fun for everyone and everyone had a great time! They did a great job pointing out wildlife and talking about the area. I would 100% recommend this tour!

Jackie and Buck did an amazing job taking us out paddle boarding in St. Petersburg. They were very knowledgable, easy to talk to, and most importantly, fun! We saw great wildlife and views from the water, including a dolphin coming up right beside us! Definitely sign up for this!

My sister and I had already taken the fabulous Boyd Hill Bike Tour with Jackie and Buck who assured us that we were a good fit for the Paddle Board Tour at Coffee Pot Bayou. We booked the paddle board tour for Mother's Day, and my son and daughter in law were excited to join us. We all had a wonderful time, and Jackie and Buck once again entertained us with their vast knowledge of birds, rays, manatees and the area in general. At our ages, 68 and 69, my sister and I were a little worried that we might take a spill or two, but we had no trouble sitting, kneeling, standing, and getting back down again. Lots of encouragement and praise from Jackie and Buck. Best Mother's Day ever!

This was my second time doing a paddle board tour with Buck & Jackie, and I can honestly say there will be a third time. They are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. So excited to go back home to Canada and tell everyone the great experience I had. Highly recommend to every one.

The natural spring paddle board tour was so much fun. The spring fed creek was crystal clear and beautiful, the guides were fun and informative, and the wildlife was terrific. We saw at least 6 manatees! They came right up next to us to check us out. Really an amazing experience. I would recommend this to anyone.

I will remember my paddle board tour with Jackie for a long, long time. She and Buck are real salt of the earth type of people, and their love of nature is so fun to be around and learn from. For those unsure, paddle boarding is very fun and not too physically challenging if you can balance! I was never worried about falling off. Jackie and Buck walk you through everything and just help you do and see whatever you want. St Pete’s is an incredibly beautiful place and these tours are a very special way to see it.

Jackie and Buck were phenomenal. They greeted us with excitement and exhuberation. They were knowledgeable about the area, sea life and native birds. They engaged us in conversation the entire time we were there and they didn’t appear to be a rush to get us out and back in, as if were a job to them. We felt as if we were out on the water with old friends. We will definitely plan this again on our next trip. Thanks guys, George

A friend referred us to Doos Tours after showing us pictures of his trip. Words cannot describe this adventure. We drove from Tampa early AM and nearly missed the van, but Jackie and Buck (and our fellow tour riders) were very understanding. After a 90 minute drive we got to the Wichee Wachee spring, got out paddle boards and started the adventure. Surrounded by nature all the time, we were able to see jumping fish, racoons, manatees (total of 13!!!), swam in the river, jumped from trees in to the water. We got out at around 3:30 PM but would love to keep going. Jackie and Buck were “magical”, friendly, knowledgeable guides.
