Round Trip Key West Day Trip From Miami With Activities

This was an amazing possibility to visit Key West. The pick up point was easy to be found. Our tourguide a very kind woman. She gave all the infomation needed. Comfortable bus and enough hours to visit Key West. Simply had a lovely day!

This was the WORST travel experience. Most of the seats were broken so you had to lay back - you could not set up. But the ABSOLUTE WORST part - the AC did not work. No air blew out of the vents AT ALL. It was uncomfortably warm on the trip done in the morning - but after going around Key West all afternoon obviously you get quite hot - then to get on a bus with no AC for a 4 hour ride back to Miami 🔥😖. Also the bathroom smelled so bad - no way to wash your hands or even hand sanitizer. When I asked the guide about the AC - his comment “I’m not a mechanic, I can’t fix the AC”. A complete miserable experience all the way around. I will NEVER recommend this company.

This trip entire booking was a rip off for me first they changed thr pickup location two times and made it inconvenient for me so we didnt get to do the trip plus they didnt even call to find out where we are. I didnt get any refund. They refused to cancel it. After makin last minute changes whoch throw us off entirely. Terrible . My entire 94$ went down the drain. I wont recommend this trip planner to anyone since thry can switch on you anytime. Unprofessional and inconvenient. Thefts.

Do not book with this company. Our trip was on 8/5/26. Our bus broke down half way through our trip back up to Miami and they had no contingency plan. We had to wait on the side of the road for 3 hours for a new bus to pick us up! They are lucky no one got heat stroke while waiting. We didn’t get dropped off until after 1:00am. Then the company DENIED my request for a refund! How does that not count as an automatic refund?!!? They did nothing to help mitigate the situation and stopped communicating with me when I was trying to figure out why they wouldn’t refund us. We will be doing a charge back with our credit card company. A very disappointing way to end a great day at Key West. Definitely not the experience we paid for!!

The key West Express bus company driver drove the bus like an empty bus. So dangerous.....never go again

Fantastic day! The coach was on time and the driver and our tour guide was absolutely lovely and accommodating! Very good value also! A very ok g day but would thoroughly recommend! 🙌🏻

It was a nice way to get to Key West without being the driver. The host on the bus was very kind and informative.

First off they never came to pick me up at our pick up spot couldn't get in touch with them , waited for 2 hours and then we saw a couple and they call there travel agent si they can get in touch with them , after all that we had to walk to another pick up spot to get on the bus , I just feel like we deserve a partial refund for this mess up , but the trip was ok , but once u get there your time goes by so fast and u only have time to do maybe I thing

Pick up instructions weren’t clear and I couldn’t reach the operator until an hour later. We waited for 1.5 hrs then left. Never had issues with Viator but this was not a great experience.

They were on time very professional ,clean bus. The seats are comfortable, the A/C works , they have charger ports as well. We enjoyed our bus trip from Miami to Key West, tour guide was very informative….

I don’t even know where to start talking about our horrible experience with these guys! We booked an activity a month in advance, then they called us a few days before our date to tell us the activity was fully booked and that we would have to choose another activity. The replacement activity was more than a $100 price difference. They said they would issue a refund, but it has been more than a month. We have made several calls, and every time they tell us the refund is on the way but the manager has to approve it first. Still no refund. Our trip on the bus was great. It was very cold for people traveling in swimsuits, but that’s okay. The pickup instructions were not very accurate since there are two places with the same name. When we arrived, I had to keep reminding the guide that our activity had been rearranged about three times and kept asking if everything was confirmed. Then he called everyone for their activities except me and my friend. When we got to our activity area, we had to ask him again because he gave passes to everyone except us. He then said maybe we were booked with another company. We walked around to the rest of the activities for about 20 minutes, and then he told us, “Wait here, I’m going to take these people to the last activity and then I’ll take you to yours.” We waited for 30 minutes. During that time, I received a confirmation message directly from the activity provider, so we called them to get directions. We barely made it there 5 minutes before it started. HE FORGOT ABOUT US. Anyways, not everything was ruined, but it definitely left a bittersweet feeling. Between the refund issue, the poor communication, and being forgotten at the activity site, the experience was way more stressful than it should have been.

The tour takes a long time since the distances are quite large. As expected, there is a lot of sun and heat, so it’s important to take precautions. You can walk comfortably, but the distances between places are longer than I expected I thought everything would be closer together. Looking back, the one thing I didn’t do but think would be a good idea is paying for the hop-on hop-off tour.

Inn the beginning it started off hectic the bus we were supposed to get on told us there was no room and left us then when we called operator she told us that it’s was to many people who booked the tour so we had to wait for them to call another bus because they left

Driver was on time, super helpful and polite and helped make the journey pleasant. Definitely recommend this service from Miami to Key West!

The comfortable air conditioned bus was not there. The air conditioning did not work in the back of the bus. 4 hours with no airflow was harsh.

The entire experience was phenomenal. Our Tour guy Luis was knowledgeable, kind and helpful. He navigated the entire tour flawlessly. I am looking forward to booking with Grayline Miami through Viator again!

This was a great experience. The tour guide and the bus driver were great. The guide was knowledgeable and she knew who each of us were and was great at making sure we got where we needed to go.

This is a whole day round trip. Coach ride is comfortable but tiring. One stop at a Mcdonald while going to the Keys. No stop on way back. Toilet on the bus is not very user friendly. So be prepared for the ride. The tour conductor was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions. Overall, a good way to visit the Florida Keys if you want to squeeze your stay in Miami.

I was a beautiful and loving trip. Beginning with Migdalia( Lily) our knowledge guide, and continuing with Ruben our amazing driver this trip was memorable.

The bus picked us up and dropped us off on time and at the right place. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful, and the snorkeling activity was well organized and fun.

We booked the Grey Line Tours Key West Day Trip through Groupon and overall had a great experience! ☀️🌴 Our moderator Lilly was very informative, the bus was on time, and customer service was excellent—they responded quickly and were very helpful. The trip itself was beautiful—we literally drove over 42 bridges, including the famous 7 Mile Bridge, and the views were amazing! Once in Key West, there were plenty of shops, restaurants, and delicious desserts for anyone with a sweet tooth. We also enjoyed the Old Town Trolley tour—Grace was funny, engaging, and full of great information. The beach, music, vibes, and even the local cannabis shops were all part of the experience! A couple things to note—parking at Bayside garage was very expensive, so plan for that. Also, on the way home, our bus stopped twice unexpectedly. It was a little scary—we thought we ran out of gas—but thankfully the driver got it started both times and got us safely back to our cars. One important suggestion: the tour company should strongly encourage anyone who is sick or constantly coughing to stay home. The seating is very close, and it’s not fair to others to be exposed during such a long ride. Overall, it was a fun and memorable day trip!

Amazing Experience I give it 100 out of 10!!!! Extremely Nice and helpful staff from the time I was pickup on the bus from Miami to the time we were dropped back off in Miami. If you haven’t book yet I highly recommend you do!

The condition of the bus for this long day left a lot to be desired... broken seats, a very smelly toilet with no toilet paper, & every seat of the double decker was taken. One of the worst Tour Guides who was way more interested in selling tours/activities in Key West than doing any guiding/commentary; she slept all the way on the return trip. However, so glad we visited Key West... had a marvellous tour guide (Jeff) on the Trolley Bus tour which was certainly a highlight; a great place to visit.

This was super fun and worth the money. Didn’t know until boarding that drinks were all inclusive even alcoholic ones. Our tour guide Tamara was amazing.

We had a bad experience to start they picked us up late and then we had to change buses on the first stop cause the air conditioner was not working properly on the first bus that picked us up

This tour was extremely disappointing and poorly managed from start to finish. The bus left Miami about 40 minutes late, which already disrupted the schedule. When I arrived in Key West and checked in at 12:10 PM, I was told the dolphin watch was from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. I was also required to return by 1:45 PM to check in, meaning I had less than 1.5 hours of usable time. The tour advertised 6 hours in Key West with about 3 hours of free time, but in reality, I had almost no meaningful time to explore. The dolphin watch ended at 5:00 PM and the bus left at 5:45 PM. The main purpose of visiting Key West was completely lost due to poor scheduling. The situation became worse when we returned to Miami. I was not dropped off at the original pickup location at Bayside Marketplace. Instead, I was dropped off at South Beach at night without proper notice and had to pay for an Uber to return. This tour showed poor coordination, poor communication, and lack of customer care. I would not recommend this operator.

I DO NOT recommend this tour from Fort Lauderdale or if it’s winter. Our pick up time was 5:30 am.. We did not start our trip until almost 8am. We spent a full 2 hours plus picking people up. It was in the high 40’s and the bus provided no heat. We were told buses in Florida do not have heat available. Ok, but when it finally became bearable, the driver had to turn on the AC because his windshield began to fog up. Why not the defroster? We were provided tape to cover the vents, but our feet were ice cubes. It was horrible! Yes it was unseasonably cold, but my gosh, I was miserable. 4 hours and freezing was not enjoyable. On the return trip, we thankfully was provided the shuttle bus back to Ft Lauderdale pretty quick upon entering Miami. We did not make the excessive amount of drop offs prior to getting shuttle back. However, we did have to make 3 stops in Hollywood Fl. One stop was an additional hotel accommodation stop for a specific request. Ok, great, but when I asked could I get dropped off at the Omni, a mile further down, I was told NO! Embassy was the end of the road. I needed only 3/4 of a mile extra down the same street. This is a cattle shuttle service. Way to many stops unless you the last stop! Way to cold and way to many stops that was unexpected

The travel is long but the destination and activity worth the price, to us. The host and driver were excellent! The snorkel activity was great.

Bus was an excellent choice to get to Key West. Guide/driver were top notch. Golf cart rental that was recommended was a good idea to get around the island on our own, but the rental place used was not the best. Cart was old, back firing, bald tires and needed repairs. It was in terrible condition—

This tour was good especially the time for arrival and departure was accurately. The driver was good and the guide David was nice and speak in good English. The tour bus is not spacious.

The pick up went well and tour guide was great. She provided history and great suggestions for additional excursions. The only issue was the bus during a short rain shower. Water started dripping on us and several other passengers. my boyfriend had a white shirt that had black moldy water drip marks and brown stains from the seat cushion. there were also other big water marks on ceiling. The driver was great.

The guide and bus driver were good. However, the bus was insanely cold due to the air conditioning being cranked to the maximum. After snorkeling and then sitting on the freezing bus, I ended up getting really sick. I also noticed that buying excursions directly in Key West through Fury is much cheaper than purchasing them in advance—which is what I did. I requested a price adjustment after seeing the same excursions advertised elsewhere for significantly less, but they gave every excuse possible to avoid refunding the difference. Because of this experience, I was very disappointed with Viator as a company. That said, the guide and bus driver were just doing their jobs, so this is not their fault. If I were to do it again, I would only buy the transportation and book excursions separately once in Key West.

Reasonable mode for a day trip to Key West from Miami! Very timely manner. Ample time in hand for selected activities! Suggest, do your homework before reaching Key West!

The AC was so strong that my dad (70 years old) got really sick halfway of the trip and requested emergency stop to use the bathroom. The tour guide had absolutely no sympathy, she complained that we might delay the trip (which we did not), and didn’t checked even once if my dad was ok. Even the other passengers were worried about my dad’s condition and offered medicine and stuff. The company should train their employees how to provide better customer service. Also, the bus should have prepared emergency kits on board.

Some of the seats are broken. There is a huge urgency to get to the top of the bus. There is no line. The kind of seat you get depends on where the driver pulls through before boarding.

We greatly appreciate our driver and tour guide (express 1317) for their caring and calming and dedication to us! We have a blessed trip!

Communication from staff was done 1 day prior. They were great! Great communication on what to expect before and during. AC temperature in the bus ride was too cold. Take a blanket! The stay at Key West could have been longer. The bus tour guide(Tamara) was very friendly and knowledgeable! Knew us all by name. Will book again with this company

Time is tight! Your booking website should say clearly how long the activities take and the time frame of the activity. Our family took a key west tour with dolphins watching and snorkeling without knowing the activity frame and how long does it take. It ends up the activity will take three hours, and we only have total 5 hours free time in Key west for a one day trip tour. The activity really ruin our other activities! Hope any changes in future on your website for booking.

I traveled with my friend from Italy. The concept and the organization were very good, a plenty of choices for live the key west and a lot of free time. The travel in general was very uncomfortable: a/c very high, a nightmare.

It was a great experience traveling from Miami by bus to Key West. I made a friend (my bus mate) and we had a great time. My new friend was taking the trip to go snorkeling and I was taking the trip to find the house I used to live in because I was born in Key West.

We had a great day in key west was long but definatly worthwhile ! On bus was offered hop on hop off , parasailing , golf carts , glass bottom boat and catamaran ! We opted just to walk around ourselves ! Had almost 6 hours in key west ! Tour guy informative ! Bus could do with an upgrade though !

You need to upgrade your bus. It was extremely uncomfortable for something that is a 4 hour drive both ways

Cons: We stayed at the Marriott Stanton in South Beach, which was a hotel that they said they picked up from...it was not; we had to pay for an Uber to take us about 10 blocks down to where they said they could pick us up. A cold front had come in over night, so it was a bit chilly outside and they had the air going, so part way through the trip they must have turned the AC off or down because after taking a short nap I woke up about an hour before we arrived in Key West to a very hot bus (the air was blowing but it was warm not cold). Everyone on the bus was complaining how hot it was.
