Reef Snorkel & Ocean Paddle Adventure In Fort Lauderdale Beach

I read the reviews of this excursion and had way higher expectations. The tour guide James was great at explaining everything, but we did not see hardly any Marine life besides small fish. No coral or anything extraordinary. There was also a group of swimmers with us paddle boarders and they were not strong swimmers so we had to cut the event short. It was not worth $115 per person. We could have done this on our own for way cheaper.

Jane the tour guide was awesome! But the experience itself was a little disappointing. Based on the reviews I thought we’d see more marine life. We only saw a few tiny fish, no coral or anything else. We were also with a group of swimmers and we were on paddle boards. The swimmers weren’t that strong so the excursion had to be cut short. I had higher expectations for this experience. This was something we could have done on our own for way cheaper.

Great guide. Ken was easy going and looked out for the group. It was a great experience for those who had no prior snorkeling experience.

This experience was a blast it exceeded all my expectations!!! James was the best tour guides he pointed out anything and everything so we could know what color fish we could be seeing! We even saw a sting ray which was really cool!

Such a great experience with James! This was probably my top favorite snorkeling experience by far. The water was so calm when we went out and it really made it enjoyable being able to take our time and see everything at the reef. I also liked the small group as many have 15-20 people and it makes it less personable. Seriously worth it and I recommend the snorkel trip to anyone spending time in Fort Lauderdale!

We had a great time! The meeting point was easy to find and we got out onto the water quickly. We saw reef sharks and stingrays and the whole family enjoyed it

Kent was wonderful and extremely patient. I couldn’t have been the easiest customer he’s ever dealt with due to me psyching myself out in the beginning but he was so kind and was not pushy at all. He didn’t rush the experience for us and he made sure to stay close to the group. Very nice experience!

Kent was an experienced and wonderful guide! Communication before, during, and after (when we had left some items with him, accidentally) was prompt and curteous. We joined another person who was scared of swimming, and Kent handled the situation with terrific support and calm. He was laid back and let us explore, but offered helpful tips. We found Kent to be honest and not pushy. Equipment (boards, life jackets, and snorkel masks) were in excellent/new condition. Definitely reccomend this experience to anyone wishing to snorkle in Ft. Lauderdale!

James was great!!!! Attentive and educational. Made us feel comfortable and would do it again! We were able to see sharks, stingrays and a bunch of other cool fish.

This is a fun trip that was just right for our family. Guides were great! They had everything ready to go and were quite helpful.

We had a great time in our SUP/snorkeling tour. Our guide did a great job getting our equipment set up and explaining how to be safe in the water. It was incredible to see the reef so close to shore with all of the coral, plants and fish.

The tour guides, James and Paula, were great! They explained the equipment and rules clearly. Paula was literally the best. She took us on the paddleboards to the reef. I unfortunatley got sick while snorkeling and had to go back to shore. But Paula ensured that my son can continue on. PSA: If you get motion sick, take your dramamine before going out! Especially when the water is bumpier than usual.

We went snorkeling with the guide Kent. He was spectacular. He was very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and wildlife. The paddling and water was beautiful and I even saw a nurse shark. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Kent was also so kind to take picture of us. Excellent tour guide.

James was amazing and patient ! Even with a moody teenager he handled her perfectly and got her snorkeling in no time ! We were able To see some Sea lid and even bought our own sets after to continue the good time ! Thank you again for making everything super simple and enjoyable ! We will be back next Time we’re in Florida !

I had the most wonderful morning with Kent, paddle boarding out to the reef and snorkelling about the place. Such a great experience. I felt safe and well looked after. I’m still smiling after such a great experience. This should be on everyone’s list of things to do in Fort Lauderdale. 😘

Great experience! James was a fantastic guide, was very knowledgeable about the sea life we encountered, and we felt safe swimming the reef with him. We even ended up rescheduling to an earlier time to take advantage of the better morning visibility. We ended up seeing lots of different reef fish, jellies, and plant life. Pricing was reasonable considering the length of the excursion and that we were the only couple out that morning, though we did purchase some add-ons we didn't need or utilize, and we didn't end up paddling at all which may have just been due to the fact that there were just 2 of us. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone traveling to this area.

Dani was our guide and she was fantastic! We had a party of six and that didn’t bother her! She shared knowledge of the coral and the fish seen! She kept us busy - I highly recommend using the flippers- it’s an option, but go for it-you won’t regret it.

Our tour leader was very helpful along the way which allowed for a seamless experience. We were able to have calm waters and see lots of sea creatures. Would definitely do this again!

The snorkel and paddle board was super fun. I had intitally booked for Saturday but the conditions weren’t going to be great as the water was choppy and visibility wasn’t good. The tour operator offered me to switch to Sunday if I was able to, which I was. Since many people switched out for Saturday we had a much larger tour group. The tour operators accommodated for it by added another guide. We had plenty of equipment and help if we needed it. I would definitely book with them again, it was a great experience! 10/10

Great to see the variety of animals in their natural habitat. The best way to see them is to free float or dive down for a closer look.

We just got back from an incredible snorkeling experience. Our guide, James, did an excellent job informing us what to expect, how to stay safe, and how to get the most out of our time in the water. None of us has paddleboards before, but we did have some previous snorkeling experience. We were able to see some beautiful fish, corals, and other natural sights, all the whole feeling comfortable and safe. Tremendous value for the money. Highly recommended for newbies and seasoned snorkelers alike!

We highly recommend these tours it was the highlight of our short vacation! Kent was excellent, so much so, that after the first excursion kayaking tour we decided to book the snorkel tour with him as well! Book it, you won't regret it!

Cassie our guide was wonderful! She was patient with my never before on a paddle board. I’m sold on the paddle board now. The snorkeling was awesome, she guided us to the best places and then let us experience the treasures of the ocean under her watchful eye. I highly recommend this trip and Cassie as our guide!

Oh my gosh, I have to tell you about this incredible experience I had! From the moment I booked it, it was nothing short of exceptional. They provided all the equipment we needed, answered all our questions, and reassured us every step of the way. I was a bit nervous to start, but it turned out to be the most amazing thing I’ve ever done! We saw so many different species of fish and the reef was absolutely breathtaking. It was mind-blowing! You absolutely have to see it for yourself!

Our snorkeling trip with Kent was fantastic! He was great scheduling the trip and making sure we were safe and had fun. He was very attentive to the slow folks on our group and took us to a great snorkeling spot. We would definitely do the trip again and highly recommend this activity.

Had a wonderful early morning paddleboard and snorkeling tour with Kent yesterday. We had great visibility. I lived in Fort Lauderdale for 5 years and never knew this natural beauty existed. Kent was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

This was me and my sister’s first time going snorkeling and it was great! Kent was a really great guide and talked us through the entire process in a clear and concise manner! He made us feel really comfortable and confident in what we were doing. A great experience!

My grandson and I had a great experience with this adventure. Our instructors, Sarah and Stosh, looked after us superbly. They catered for all ability levels. There was plenty of marine life to see including a large stingray and a tarpon. Calm weather is obviously a huge benefit!

Such an amazing snorkel spot! I’ve lived in Florida for a few years now and have really been wanting to get into the ocean but have been hesitant because I don’t have the right equipment and didn’t feel safe going alone as someone from a land locked state. They set everything up for you, gave clear instructions and stay with you the whole time while also giving you space to explore on your own! Shout out to Kent and Rebecca who were very kind, attentive and knowledgeable!

It was honestly an amazing experience! It was my anniversary gift for my husband and he absolutely loved it! We saw lobsters, turtles plenty of fish. We will definitely come back. Kent was amazing, helpful and shared some really cool tips. 10/10

Sarah, our guide, was amazing! We were first time snorkelers and we didn’t know what to expect. Sarah was super enthusiastic and kind with us, and she was very patient with us getting used to being in the water. Once we got comfortable, we were able to go into the water with no fear! It was truly an awesome experience and we got to see so many cool fish during our tour! It was definitely a memorable experience and money well spent! We were so lucky to have Sarah as our guide and we got lucky to have a private tour!

We had a wonderful morning with Cassie and learned so much. She was friendly and knowledgeable and we both successfully paddle boarded on the ocean. We snorkeled to a reef and some buried treasures. Such a great experience.

We loved taking the paddle boards along for the snorkel. We had a trip originally planned in December, but with weather had to reschedule. March calm seas for the win.

Kent and Chassity were so wonderful and patient as they explained how to maneuver the paddle boards. I enjoyed chatting with Chassity in the water and she recommended other fun things to do in the area. This was my family’s favorite excursion on our trip and anyone with teenagers knows how hard it is to impress them! I highly recommend!

Camilla was awesome! It was also great to do a combo of paddle boarding and snorkeling - when I got a bit chilly or tired, I could lay face down on the board (leaving my mask and snorkel on) and just watch the underwater world below me while I drifted along...

Great time! Kent made us feel so at ease. This was our first time paddle boarding in the ocean and it was great. Any level can do this. We saw many fish and plant life along the reef. We will do this again.

My daughter (13yo) and I went snorkeling for the very first time, we were nervous about our ability, but this was wonderful! It was an absolutely amazing experience we will be talking about for a long time!! The guides were both so patient and kind to us both. We felt incredibly safe and free to explore. The reef was beautiful and I even saw a Tarpon which was a cherry on top! Seeing all the schools of fish, the reef and my favorite was my daughter’s excitement made this an unforgettable morning! I highly recommend the guides and experience as a whole. It was calm and exciting which is a hard thing to pull off. I said it was a bucket list item but this will for sure not be a one and done experience. Don’t hesitate, book it-100% worth it!!!! Thank you so much for making our vacation! Kent even took and sent us pictures that we will treasure.

Our original Reed Snorkel & Ocean Paddle was cancelled due to weather. You can’t predict Mother Nature…she has a mind of her own. Our guide Kent called and gave us a few options, full refund, try again the next day, or do a partial refund and go on a paddle board tour in an area with calm water. We decided to do the paddle board, and had a great time with our guide Jason who was informative. He also gave a quick tutorial on how to use the paddle boards to get us feeling comfortable. The staff is very friendly and I would highly recommend.

Even though we couldn’t do snorkeling at no fault of the guide it was an amazing day paddle boarding. The guide was very kind and gave us some educational information during our paddle boarding journey. I would definitely recommend!

Paddle boarding with snorkeling was the best combination of a relaxing time on the water along with an underwater adventure! The fish and the reef were a true wonder. Kent provided easy instructions and is a wealth of information about the reef and area. Easily, this adventure was one of my favorite things I’ve done on my trip!

My guide Jason was excellent. Very helpful and pointed out many neat fish I would have easily missed. Gave a short lesson on The SUP before we went out. All round very good experience.
