Don was an excellent guide. He was fun, and gave a lot of great information during tour. He also knew when to be quiet and let us enjoy the sunset.

Don runs a top notch service for a family/group of 5-6 people. He communicated well leading up to the cruise and gives straightforward directions. He has very thorough knowledge of the area and is very personable. His prices are very reasonable for the services he provides and he’s great for families who don’t want to deal with large groups and prefer a more intimate experience. We recommend using him, if he’s available. Book early!!

If you like small group tours this is the experience you are looking for. We were hoping for an experience that would be memorable and Captain Don delivered. When an owner/operator is running the tour it always shows. His local knowledge was on display and he was a very personable fellow. We enjoyed talking with him while seeing the sights. He really enjoys doing these tours and it shows. We had a group of four (two couples) and split with one couple up front and one in the back of the boat. The views were amazing and Capt. Don answered all of our questions. The sunset was amazing as well! Weather was perfect, which was helpful too. We would recommend this tour to everyone.

This was a great excursion!!! I was a little nervous about getting to the right spot to meet…Don provided easy perfect directions! He was on time taking us out! So nice!! Showed us several landmarks and told us about the area…gave us some good recommendations for food and drinks!! The sunset was gorgeous…so nice seeing it from a different perspective. Can’t wait to go again with Don and try a sandbar excursion with him too!!! He will not disappoint!!

Don was amazing! He adjusted the cruise to account for the cooler than normal temperatures, spending more time hunting wildlife in little inlets than offshore waiting for the sunset. We were able to see a manatee and many other animals while learning a lot about what brought him to the Keys. By the end of the trip, it was more like spending a few hours on the water with a buddy than a charter. I would definitely recommend Don with Stock Island Charters for any Key West water adventure.

This was a great excursion and it was exactly what my family and I wanted when we booked. We were treated very well and learned a few things about Key West. Captain Don was amazing and made sure we were comfortable and able to have an enjoyable experience. He made sure that we had fun and got a perfect spot to watch a great sunset. Captain Don provides a wonderful sunset cruise around Key West and this was truly one of the highlights of our vacation. His boat was very comfortable for our family of 5. Don provides running commentary on everything you see as you tour around and he then finds a great spot to watch the sun set. His communication was great before the trip, his boat is super clean and comfortable, and he has a great personality. We had our 3 teenage girls with us and didn't want to do one of the big boozy sunset tours. This was perfect!

Fun cruise. Narrated well by the guide/boat owner, Captain Dan. He did a great job and showed us a fantastic sunset. The boat was big enough for six adults and was very comfortable ride for two adults and a child.

Donnie was an exceptional tour guide. He gave narrative guidance the whole time and was extremely knowledgeable of all local areas. It was obvious that he wanted to ensure the guests were totally satisfied. He took us to a perfect vantage point at the perfect time to view an incredible sunset.

Stop what you are doing and book this immediately. This was my first trip to Key West and this sunset tour was by far my favorite experience of the trip. I cannot imagine any other tour being able to top this one. Don has a superior knowledge of the island and an impeccable ability to time the tour so that you get to see everything and be in the perfect spot at the perfect time to see the sunset. With this tour you are supporting a real person who started his own business and not a large corporate company. It was absolutely an incredible experience and we will be booking with Don every time we come back to Key West. I’d give him 6 stars if it was an option.

Fun time tooling around before getting in position to catch a great sunset. Donnie loved that we brought Mia our rescue super mutt who did well on her first boat ride.

Had a fantastic time with Donnie on the sunset cruise. Gave good detailed map on exactly where to meet and we were off! We got to see a bunch of different areas from the water side of things and the boat was in great shape and perfect for the 4 of us. I would definitely use Stock Island Charters again!

This is a much different experience than most sunset cruises on Key West. We explored some is the mangroves and back channels before anchoring to take in the sunset. This was a wonderful experience!

Don with Stock Island Charters was great! Fun ride, lots of good information about the area, saw tarpon, barracuda, & dolphins, and finished with a fabulous sunset.
