Private Shelling And Dolphin Excursion

Captain Matt hands down made the experience. He was spectacular!! He shared so much knowledge and passion for the waterway, Marcos Island, and the enviroment as a whole. We had so much fun and true relaxation on the water. We loved seeing the dolphins and Matt tried to get them to play around but when he knew their want to eat was the forefront of their mind, he knew to let them be. Was a very memorable experience and have all intentions to take the water again with him.

Matt was fantastic! Never felt rushed, was very relaxing and he was full of knowledge of the islands and fish!

Matt, our guide, was great! There were many tours to choice from and we weren’t sure which would be best. We made a great choice. Very laid back and chill. We rode to a private island with a million plus shells - and on the way back saw 5-10 different dolphins. We had 2 kids and 1 elder - great experience for all. 5 stars!

Capt Tyler Osterkamp did a great job all around.

We had captain Tyler. He explain everything to us before leaving dock and as we was on water. Not bad complains on Tyler. Highly recommend him! He even went with my boys to found alot of really cool shells! First time ever in Florida or even in the boat he made it a smooth ride! Seeing dolphins was a experience.

We are so glad we finally booked the Dolphin Excursion! We got to see plenty of dolphins and look for shells. Captain Matt was great the whole time! Our daughters, 10,8 and 5 had the best time and want to go again. Highly recommend this excursion and Matt!

Our captain Matt was super knowledgeable about the ecosystem on the tour. We saw all kinds of wildlife including dolphins. Shelling was awesome. Came away with bags of beautiful shells. Then we were able to watch a magnificent sunset from the water. We will be back! Highly recommend

Captain Matt was very knowledgeable about the area, history and the entire ecosystem while he was giving us the tour. He was kind and very sweet with our children. He circled twice to get the dolphins to follow us. We saw a few dolphins, manatees, ospreys and pelicans. We were able to get pretty shells. It was especially special because it was private and perfect for our family. We highly recommend a private tour!!

Captain Derek gave us a great tour of the 10,000 Islands. Derek found Dolphins very quickly and even pointed out a shark that he saw roaming through the waterways. We spent some time shelling on an island and Derek was helpful in explaining many things about the local ecosystem. Would definitely recommend this tour.

It was a wonderful experience! Captain Matt was very friendly and knowledgeable as he toured us around the island mangroves and out to see the playful dolphins. We then stopped by a sandbar loaded with shells and Matt provided us with a bucket to walk around and collect a bunch. The day of our outing was absolutely beautiful with calm, lake-like water. I would highly recommend this tour with Matt!

The food, atmosphere and wait staff were amazing! My only concern was that the outdoor chairs were a little too small for me.

We LOVED the shelling and dolphin experience we had with Captain Derek. We actually were able to get the dolphins to surf our wake, there was a mom dolphin and a baby with her. The shelling island was great also as we found so many shells to collect. Captain Derek also helped us shell and found some really cool shells for us.

We had an awesome day on the water with Captain Matt. We followed some dolphins on the way out, saw an osprey snag a fish, and watched pelicans diving in the water. Shelling island was amazing. Tons of beautiful shells for the kids to take home. On the way back we found 2 dolphins that followed our boat and kept jumping on our wake. Captain Matt was very informative and great with the kids. Highly recommend this adventure!

We had the BEST time! We were kinda bummed because it just got down down pouring and it looked like it was going to storm again. Our Captain Matt told us he would keep us safe and it would be 100% up to us if we should come back in but we should definitely give it a try. Ended up being the best boat tour I’ve ever taken. Kicker is we were on the shell island and the rain was coming in fast. We got on the boat quickly and instead of going into the rain like all the other boats in the area we went out into the Gulf to avoid it. Best adventure. Dolphins were active and chased the boat. Got amazing shells.

Captain Kasey was amazing. We saw so many dolphins and had an excellent time shelling on the beach. We will definitely do this again next time we come to Naples

We initially had an afternoon excursion planned, but our captain proactively called when the weather looked questionable and booked us for another day and a better time to accomplish what we wanted (shelling and dolphin spotting). We ended up doing the sunset cruise. Within minutes of boarding the boat, we had dolphins jumping in our wake. Then we headed over to a sandbar island that had shells galore! We watched the sunset over the water. Then as we were about to head in, a pod of dolphins (including a baby) swan within feet of the boat! It was a perfect evening. Captain Matt was knowledgeable, funny, and very concerned with our family having a good experience. I would recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys time on the water, shelling, and enjoying the incredible wildlife and ecosystem of the area!

Awesome experience—even on an unseasonably cold day in South Florida. Captain Matt was engaging, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what he does. This was fun for everyone in our group—from our 3-year-old to our teenager to the adults. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing private dolphin and shelling tour with our family, including our daughters (ages 3 and 5). Our captain, Matt, was fantastic. He knew exactly how to position the boat so the dolphins came right up behind us and rode the waves. Watching them jump and play so close to the boat was incredible and we got amazing videos. We also stopped at a sandbar to collect seashells and the kids were in heaven. Matt was knowledgeable, safe, and made the whole ride smooth and enjoyable. We ended the trip watching a beautiful sunset. It was a perfect experience and such a special memory for our family. Highly recommend!

Wanting to give our grandchildren an exciting adventure in the Everglades, we booked the private shelling and dolphin trip. It was FABULOUS! Capt Kasey was the perfect person to show us where the dolphins were feeding, variety of birds along the edge of the Red Mangroves, manatees swimming and an amazing shelling island. Capt Kasey was great at explaining to our 7 and 9 year olds about the different shells and sea life and helped all the adults have a better understanding too. The day was as perfect as it could be. Thanks Capt Kasey! And thanks Nick for moving our trip up earlier as the weather might change to a bit cooler. If you want to have an amazing experience and learn about the Everglades and the sea life, be sure to check them out. You won’t be disappointed!

Great time was had by all of us , Our grandchildren 9 and 11 had the best time and Captain Matt made sure we got to see a lot of dolphins, We got to see them jumping the wake and swimming alongside the boat , He even stopped for us so we could watch the dolphins swim around and underneath the boat. The Shelling was fun however the dolphins were the highlight for us.

We had such a great time. We saw so many dolphins and native birds. The shelling was a big hit with our 4 and 7 year old girls. Captain Kasey was so good with finding fauna to show us, sharing the history of the area and helping us all find cool shells. We will do this again with other visiting family for sure b

Derek was a great Captain. Some people in our party had difficulty boarding, due to physical restrictions, and he was patient and helpful in making them comfortable upon boarding. We saw several dolphins, almost immediately. Then we went over to the beach to search for shells. Derek was right in there with us collecting shells and telling us what species they were. This was an amazing trip with an amazing Captain.

A bit awkward because where Viator tells you to meet is different from where the excursion company tells you to meet. But Island Excursions were terrific with thei direct communications and all worked out. The boat was fine. The young man that met us when we arrived was friendly, informative and a nice young man. Our Captain, Kasey was incredible. So accommodating and helpful. We had two young children aboard and he was wonderful with them. He was helpful helping those of us that were not so nimble getting on and off the boat. He was very knowledgeable about the area, the environment, the fauna and flora, and the history of Marco and Goodland. It was a special day for all 6 of us. Thanks.
