Private Miami Airport Lakes Peacock Bass Charter - 4 Hour

Went along fishing with my family and my brothers' family. There were SIX of us with kids aged from 12 to 17, so it was tricky to find stuff we all liked to do. As soon as we got on the boat Bob was fun and friendly and told us what to do. Once we all got going, it was excellent; we all caught fish after fish! We even got a 6 lb peacock bass. Very good value for money and a wonderful experience we can't wait to repeat next year (even me, who was really not into fishing). 😀

Booked this trip for 4 of us, mostly beginners and a little one, but Captain Bob was fantastic. It was such great fun, and Capt. was informative and made it all so easy. All the rods and fishing gear were always ready; we landed a lot of Peacock Bass. The experience offered great value for money and was extremely memorable. Do it, even if you've never been fishing before!

Great morning's trip with Richard; he was patient with the kids and kept us all entertained as well as helped us pick up about 30 peacock bass! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and was a true holiday highlight.

My son, three of his friends, and I went for a six-hour fishing trip with captain Bob. he, was excellent. We caught plenty of Peacock Bass including a 6 lb. (much to the surprise of the boy who caught it) Hard to imagine a better day out.

We went out with Captain Bob this morning for a 4-hour trip. Rods, reels, and bait are supplied. Local knowledge proved key, and within 10 minutes of anchoring up, the first catch of the day was landed. Between the 4 members of my family, we caught two 5+ lb and two Peacock Bass (totally 25 plus). Bob was very patient and knowledgeable and engaged with everyone, especially the younger members of the group. Brilliant morning and well worth it. 👌

Went on a fishing trip with Richard and had a great time. He is very knowledgeable and always ready to help. I am not very experienced with fishing, but Richard explained everything clearly, helped with baiting hooks, and cleaned the fish on the way back. He even provided bags to take everything home.

Once on the water, he set up our lines, gave us lots of guidance, and even cleaned the many peacock bass we caught. If you are in the area, this is something you should not miss.

Miami Airport Lakes Peacock Bass Fishing Trip (1 to 4 ppl) This is the second time I've been out with Captain Bob. Usually I only take my son (13 years old), but this time I also took my 10-year-old, who was nervous about her first trip out. Bob was brilliant; he was amazing with all the children on the boat, answering any questions they had, making the whole trip an absolutely fun/enjoyable experience. Everyone caught peacock bass and had a lovely time. I will definitely be going out again with Bob when I'm back in Miami and would recommend anyone going to Miami Airport Lakes take a trip out with him and his team.

Loads of fish. Loads of sun. Loads of fun! This was our first time out on one of Captain Richard's boats, but it definitely won't be our last. We caught a lot of peacock bass. Our kids (8 and 9) really loved it, as did we.

Took my three eldest children (12 to 15 y.o.) for a peacock bass fishing trip with Captain Bob. He was very young, and he did a super job of managing the families on board and ensuring everyone had an experience to remember. After a few-minute ride out to Lakes, we struck into a plentiful shoal of fish and hauled in more than enough to fill our bellies. A perfect day trip – both of the kids said it was the highlight of their holiday, and the fish tasted fantastic!

We've been on captain Bobs boat fishing trips for the last three years. We don't always catch a lots Peacock Bassso early in the season but the trip is still worthwhile as Bob knows so much about the area and the 4 hour is filled with good conversation and great views of the lakes. Kids love it most.

Went on a 4-hour Peacock Bass fishing trip with Richard. A wonderful hour with blue skies, a calm sea, and a bucketful of fish. My first trip but Richard's instructions resulted in me catching over a dozen Peacock Bassl.They just kept biting and we landed over 15+ fish between us. Fabulous day fishing with Captain Richard; loads of peacock bass fish were caught, one a big size of 23+ lb. phenomenal experience for my boys' 11th birthday. This fishing is an excellent trip service. Trips last usually 4 hours, but the boat can be rented out for a price. Usually you catch a lot of fish, and you keep what you catch! Richard always guts or fillets the fish you catch so that it can be put straight on the BBQ or grill. He is friendly and is always willing to help out and ensure you catch as many fish as possible. I will definitely be returning in the new year.

I decided to do something different with my 9-year-old twin boys, so I chose fishing. I was not disappointed; it was great fun. We were beginners and didn't catch many fish, only nine peacock bass in a 4-hour trip, but we had lots of fun trying. The captain, Richard, was fantastic and helpful and didn't seem to get bored of our questions (I probably would have). I will definitely do this again.

Lovely captain (Bob) who was friendly, helpful, and informative. They lent me a coat when it rained and were always happy to help when my line got caught with my mates'! Would thoroughly recommend. Caught a fish (although sadly not a peacock bass), but hopefully I'll catch more fish next time.

Thanks to bad weather and a bad camping pitch, we were up early at 9:45 for a peacock bass fishing trip. We could have booked online; this seemed to be the only charter that offered this service, but I assumed I'd have been too drunk to go out this early in the morning. We got to the ticket office before they opened, about half past eight, and asked if there was any availability, very short notice granted. We were asked to wait for them to be able to check the overnight online bookings, which I thought was perfectly acceptable. They said they just about had the space for three of us fishing and my wife and dog as spectators. very fair price per fisher. It was great value for a 6-hour practical boat trip. Although windy, the sun was mostly out, and we all caught the sun a bit. The kids and I all caught something; I was well chuffed that I caught the first for the whole boat. Three peacock bass made a lovely fresh supper for the family. Bob (the captain) was very friendly and helpful for us. I don't think you can visit Miami and NOT go out 'peacock bass fishing,' so if you do, pay these guys a visit.

Fantastic trip; I went with myself and 2 children, ages 14 and 11. The time flew by, and 8 fish were caught between the 3 of us. The boat captain, Bob, very patiently untangled them for us! We had the bonus of lovely weather and a good catch, so everyone was happy!

The boat was departing from the lake's spot, which was fantastic as it was so easy to board. The trip out to Leaks was lovely, with stunning views along the coast. Captain Richard was fantastic so warm, welcoming, and informative. We all set up our rods, and within minutes we started catching. After a while we changed position and started again. The journey back in was just as good and very educational, as we got a lesson in gutting and filleting peacock bass. Left a very happy fisherwoman and would highly recommend

A day out peacock bass fishing. Just 2 of us; our friend shared the trip & caught a total of 8 fish, including a large one weighing 18+ pounds. All fish were successfully landed and returned. Richard works hard to ensure success, and we will definitely rebook the 8-hour trip soon.

I have fished a few times with this charter now, the most recent being 4 November. We booked an 8-hour fishing trip with a bunch of friends; we all caught a fish, and the captain, Bob, is very generous with his charter time. The boat is clean, tidy, and seaworthy, and the crew is very competent; his focus is on keeping you safe as well as enjoying your trip. Good for novices as well as the very experienced, family-friendly. Great experience, excellent value for money, and I will be going again! I can highly recommend this charter. I book up and go out most weekends with Captain Bob. I have fished on boats all around the country and found Bob to be a top-quality captain who knows the fishing grounds well and has always put us on the fish. Catching them is down to me and you and a bit of luck!!! Overall a good, enjoyable day out!

Richard is the very best captain we have been out with. We went out on a 6-hour peacock bass trip, and Richard made for an excellent and very memorable father-and-adult-son morning. Plenty of support, knowledge, and patience, and he put us on the fish. My son caught 10+ lb, and also I am 12+ lb. Thoroughly recommended for novices through to the experienced fisherman.
