We had an amazing day out on the water with our captain in the intercoastal waters of Naples. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared helpful fishing tips throughout the trip, which made the experience even more enjoyable. In addition to learning a lot, we also had some great catches—including a stingray and a puffer fish—and even got to see dolphins, which was such a memorable highlight. It was the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and excitement. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great day on the water!

We had a great day on the water. Captain Paul was great and our kids caught a lot of fish. We saw pod of dolphins playing in the bay which capped off the trip.

Our kids had a wonderful time on the fishing charter! They caught a few mangrove snapper fish and brought them home ready to cook up for dinner! They also spotted a dolphin and a manatee! The instructor made the trip fun and easy. They would definitely do it again!

Captain Paul was great! He was so knowledgeable about the area, the fish, the waters and natural habitats, we were in very good hands. He knew where to fish for the best experience, was super attentive and had lots of shrimp for our lines the whole time. He had snacks and cold drinks for us and when the sun grew hot he had a nice shade for us all. We really had the best time fishing our morning away in paradise! Thank you captain Paul!

Paul was wonderful. He made our experience very memorable. We caught many fish - mangrove snapper mostly! We made our catch for dinner and it was fantastic Look forward to our next time out with Captain Paul.

The most memorable part was the Redfish and how hard it fought, or the dolphins swimming around the boat at the end.

I got this for my husband’s Christmas present. Captain Paul was an awesome skipper. He was kind and patient and knew the good nooks and crannies for biting fish. We were blessed with perfect weather for fishing and a great time was had by all.

We had the best fishing charter ever!! We took our 11 year old daughter and 13 year old son with us. We caught 19 fish and were able to keep one. We got some great history of the area while going to different spots. We saw dolphins and even a manatee!! I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to have a great time.

Extremely happy with our time out on the water. Everything went better than expected. We had our 1y.o. and 3 y.o. with us and they were both happy and entertained. Plus boat snacks were a huge hit with them

We went out on 1/31/2022 with our children (12/11/7). We were met at the dock right on time. The boat was very clean and clearly well taken care of. The weather was less then ideal fishing conditions. Our Captain Paul still had us on fish amazingly quickly. Had a lot of cool stuff he explained on the ride to and from our fishing holes. The biggest thing for me was the way he interacted with our children. He was endlessly patient even with our "do everything myself" 7 year old. The kids were allowed to cast or bait theirp hook as little or as much as they wanted. Our middle child asked us when we got back to our vehicle to buy him no toys or presents for the next year to save money to come back. I have done several charters over the years. This was one of my favorite Captains. I will recommend him any day, double so if you have kids with.

Captain Paul is an outstanding guide and our afternoon of fishing was perfect on his boat. He is extremely knowledgeable and interesting and our small group enjoyed his easygoing manner and hospitality. We took 4 hour boat for a family of 5, and we were pretty sure that between 5 of us with prior fishing experience, will catch a lot of fish. The experience was great, captain had the equipment ready and told us many new facts about fishing, however all the fish we were catching was too little to keep. We had to let go almost all of it and ended up with only 4 fish that just made the 12 inch size to keep. Captain took us to different spots, but it didn’t help much. It was way below our expectations as we had much better catches in other places in the past, so don’t have your expectations too high.

The captain was great. We hit many different spots and caught fish at each place. Also saw dolphins and the captain as able to get the dolphins to swim along side the boat. It was a great experience!

We had a great time with Captain Paul! Recently went on a half day trip with my wife and two daughters. Paul was very hands on and was great with helping my daughters with every aspect of the day. Can’t wait to go again next time we are in Naples.

We had an amazing afternoon fishing! Captain Paul made our time on the water very enjoyable, even in the heat. He found us spots that offered a nice breeze and still good fishing. He was very knowledgeable of the wildlife and easy to visit with. We would definitely book another trip with him again if we are back in the area!

We recently visited Naples and went on a fishing trip with Mangrove Charters. It was EXCELLENT !!! My husband and I took our two teenagers fishing - and we all enjoyed it. Captain Paul was such a good host - his boat was beautiful and clean - and he provided water, soft drinks, and snacks. Captain Paul also taught us what to do (we are pretty new to fishing) and helped us bait the lines time after time (I don't like touching the live shrimp). It was truly a great experience - so much fun and we look forward to the opportunity to do it again. Thank you Captain Paul!

A very enjoyable trip start to finish!! Between 6 people we caught 70 fish, and enough keepers where we were able to cook them up for lunch and then some. Captain Paul knew all the best spots for high activity, and bought us 100 live shrimp to maximize catching. We were entertained by dolphins and the pelicans squabbling for our fish. A beautiful place, and definitely the best choice to get an overall perfect small fishing trip!!

I have three kids (14, 14, and 12) who have never fished before and Captain Paul was so patient and helpful in teaching them how to fish. We caught a lot of fish (unfortunately had to throw them back since only one was able to be brought home, but it's January and it was really cold) on our 2hr 45min excursion which kept them interested and having fun the entire time! Paul was funny, helpful, knowledgeable, and we highly recommend this trip!

My wife, 2 kids, and myself had an amazing time on the fishing charter. We caught in the neighborhood of about 2 dozen fish between Sheepshead, Snapper, Jack, and pinfish. Our captain took us to three different spots and was eager to help the kids bait their hook and cast in an appropriate spot. He was very courteous and even took us to a spot to watch dolphins swim on the way back into the bay.

My husband and I took our six and almost four year olds on their first fishing trip in the hopes to catch their first fish. Captain Paul did not disappoint!! He was very patient with our kids the entire way. We all had a great trip, caught plenty of fish and even caught a keeper!! Captain Paul was very informative of the local mangrove trees and surrounding ecosystems. We can’t wait to book again with Captain Paul!

What a perfect way to spend the morning with my nine-year-old grandson. Captain Paul was wonderful. He could not have been more kind or enthusiastic about helping us fish. We caught several fish although none were keepers but that was no one’s fault. We were just happy to be catching fish and several different types. Would highly recommend this fishing excursion!

We did a 4 hour charter with Captain Paul. There were 5 of us total and we caught plenty of fish. Each area we fished was great and we caught 5 different type of fish. He was knowledgeable about marine life and the area. His cooler was stocked with Coke, sprite, water, and snacks. 100% recommend will return until he future.

My two sons (17 & 20) and I enjoyed 4 hours out on Naples Bay with Captain Paul. Beyond the fishing and the company, this is a great way to experience the beauty of Naples Bay and the many Mangrove Islands. We caught a great variety of fish -- Sheepshead, Snook, Red Snapper, Mangrove Jack..perhaps one or two other types. Also saw several Mullet's jumping vertically out of the water as well. Strongly recommend this for visitors to the Naples area and strongly recommend Captain Paul to guide you.

Our family of 5 took the half day fishing tour with Captain Paul and certainly did not disappoint! We were inexperienced anglers and Paul took the time to teach everyone the basics and get us going. Everyone caught multiple fish and were baiting there own hooks by the end. Paul was very knowledgeable about the area and even made time for an impromptu stop at a secluded beach for a quick dip and some shelling. We highly recommend the Mangrove Man Charters!

Our family of 4 had a good time out with Captain Paul - we hit three different fishing spots and caught fish at all, but the last spot was the best - we caught a shark!! Paul was very knowledgeable and patient - especially after we kept catching squirrel fish - and with our youngest who was at first petrified but eventually warmed up and fished on her own toward the end of the trip. Our oldest said it was the highlight of our vacation - and her dad is still talking about the shark he caught!

Some Captains are average, some great, some can better read his/her guests and flex with the weather and the opportunities that present themselves. I have to say that Captain Paul is a man with a wealth of knowledge to share and great people skills. He reads his crew, puts them on the fish, and does so with a calm and patient manner. We had a threat time with captain Paul. He offered knowledge regarding the surrounding, was very helpful with the kids fishing, and took us to an island where we found beautiful shells. After he took us to look at the mansions and where the dolphins swam. We all had a great time!

We had a fantastic time with Captain Paul, on our 2.5 hour fishing/sunset tour. Since the Gulf was a bit choppy we decided to stick to the mangroves. Captain Paul was a great guide and very funny. He patiently taught us the basics of fishing, helped us in every step of the way and and told us all about the local area and wildlife (he pointed out a bald eagle, a raccoon and an osprey amongst others). He was very patient with us total newbies (never been fishing), and to our great surprise and delight, we caught a bunch of fish that he was kind enough to fillet which made for an awesome homemade dinner. Would totally recommend to all and happily go again. Thank You Captain Paul!

We caught quite a few fish that were below the limit so we threw them back but it was a great time. Captain Paul was awesome. Very fun guy!!

Our family of 6 (including four kids ages 8-14) did Captain Paul’s 2.5 hr fishing trip. It’s the first time we have tried fishing with all the kiddos though our son loves it and begs to fish at any opportunity. Not all were looking forward to it like our son was so we opted for the 2.5 hr trip. It ended up being a fabulous time for everyone and we found ourselves wishing we had more time. Paul was super knowledgeable and friendly and definitely kept busy patiently helping out with all our lines, teaching the little ones to cast, baiting hooks and pulling all the fish off. We caught quite a few sheepshead, saw lots of dolphins and even spotted a manatee. Captain Paul was prepared with plenty of cold waters, sodas and granola bars. The only downside to the trip is that we did it so early in our vacation that our kids are begging to go out for another fishing trip. Bonus was that Paul filleted the fish for us right on the dock after our trip; we took them straight home for dinner. Yum!

Had a great trine with Paul. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. Didn’t get angry when we caught trees and rocks, just fixed our lines quickly so we could get back to it. We caught tons of fish, all but 2 too small to keep. That didn’t matter to us, we just love reeling them in. Thanks so much.

I had the boat to my self and Capt. Paul was great. I caught tons of fish including snapper,sheepshead, ladyfish, snook and jacks...very fun..He is also very knowledgable about the mangrove habitat and made conversation interesting as well.

I've been coming to Naples for almost 20 years and have used a number of charter fishing services. Captain Paul definitely rates at the TOP of my list. My family and I had a great morning fishing in the mangroves with Captain Paul. We hit some nice spots and caught over 9 different types of fish (including Snook and Redfish). An added bonus was all the fishing and eco knowledge Captain Paul shared with us. He even managed to get some dolphins to surf in the wake behind our boat! I'd also like to thank Paul for patiently and enthusiastically answering all the questions my curious and fishing crazed 9 year old son had to ask. :)
