Private Everglades Airboat Tour With Pick Up And Everglades Guide

We booked with Pick Up in Little Havana (like their web site says, and then got a text we must go to a park in the city to get picked. That spoiled a very nice trip out on the airboat.

Christian is great. Pick up in good, mid-size van. Good explanation of the Everglades ecosystem and wild life. Christian then handed us over to the Everglades staff for the boat tour and alligator show - which was ok.

Had a great day out in the Everglades yesterday. Our guide Ruslan was hilarious and really knew his stuff, not just about the glades but Miami too. If you go, definitely ask for him!

Rus was our guide, he was excellent! We had a brilliant time, airboat ride was fun and we were lucky to see lots of alligators and other wildlife. Enjoyed the gator show too. Super convenient for us as we were picked up from the port and dropped at the airport - perfect way to fill the morning before our onward flight. 5* !!

Really awesome tour. Hagen was a great guide teaching us everything we didn't know we wanted to know about Miami and the Everglades. Local guide Tristan was equally great showing us and teaching us us the local wildlife. Saw two big males, a big female and some cute baby gators. Got to hold a small gator, really cool. I can highly recommend this private tour. Worth every penny if you want that personal and authentic feeling. Besides getting good restaurant tips...

We had an unforgettable Everglades tour that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt well organized and welcoming. Christian was amazing!... and shared so much oh his knowledge about the Everglades habitat and animals with us on the ride there. I would suggest adding the pick up especially if you're from our of town.

Christian was the best! He picked us up on time, gave us a run down of what to expect in the Everglades, introduced us to our lovely tour guide, Rich, who gave us a comprehensive tour on the airboat. On our drive back to Miami, Christian gave a tour of the city. We had a blast, might do it again next time!

We had an awesome experience with Banana Joe Tours. Christian and captain Burke were both very knowledgeable and professional. We learned a lot about alligators and other species in the Crocodilian family on our way to Tigertail Airboat. The airboat ride itself is incredibly smooth and a super fun experience. Although we only saw one allegator, it was very close to our airboat. In addition to allegator, we also saw snapping turtles and birds.

Fantastic tour with Hagen! We have a family of 18 people which includes 11 adults and 7 grand children ages 3 to 10. Everyone was entertained with Hagen's wealth of knowledge of the Everglades and Florida. We all enjoyed the airboat tour and we saw many alligators and birds! Don't miss this tour!

Our driver and guide, Christian, was amazing! He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He really gave us VIP service! I approached how attentive he was and how he was able to get us front of the line and the best seats for the show! He was our own personal photographer as well! Was overall the best experience!

Tour was amazing, our tour guide Christian picked us up from the hotel and told a lot of facts and information about the wildlife and the ecosystems of Everglades, during the boat ride we managed to see 5 aligators, a lot of birds and some iguanas in the trees, all the expectations became reality, would definitely recommend Christian and the tour!

We were promptly picked up at our hotel and driven the hour to the Everglades. The tour guide to the Glades was informative and quite entertaining. Once at our location, the guide on the boat was equally informative . All in all the experience for all of us was very positive and would highly recommend this adventure.

What a great company & good guy Hagen is. After a total mix up ( we got on the wrong tour bus) Hagen rang & then came & met us to take us on this tour. So happy as this tour was amazing ! An memorable afternoon spent visiting the Everglades. We were picked up on time at our South Beach hotel by our guide, Hagen, who briefed us on Everglades and its wildlife during the ride. The air-boat tour lasted an hour, and we were able to see a number of aligators close-up, as well as extensive birdlife. The visit finished with an informative and entertaining aligator show and the possibility to hold a baby aligator.

Boat was faster than the others. I recommend to make it with pickup, you will have more informations about Everglades.

They have horrible customer service; unresponsive and combative. They refused to take phone calls, and only accept texts, when I reached out after booking to confirm the time and location to meet for the tour. And when our airboat got stuck for an hour in the weeds due to our drivers inexperience and negligence they brushed me off (via text because they don't accept phone calls) and told me I had already paid for the tour in full so they weren't going to help. I really hope for the sake of this company they just have one bad employee manning their phone line. There are so many other operators however offering this exact same tour for the same price that I would NOT recommend booking with them.

The best, without a doubt, the guide to Everglades Cristian and takes the stars of the valuation; I put no less for him. A nice guy who made the journey very enjoyable. Too bad the best part of the tour was the journey. The hovercraft ride was quite disappointing. Not so much because of the heat (which was to be expected), but because of the touristicness that turned out to be. I chose this tour — Banana Joe tours, among other options — because its advertising hinted at an exciting experience on open hovercraft. Nothing to do with it. They put us on a covered barge, with rock-hard seats, and while it is true that we saw several aligators, standing next to them in a crushing sun was not the most pleasant thing. The absurdly high volume of the speakers made the narration almost unbearable. A simple “wear caps” warning would have been more helpful than the whole explanation about crocodiles. To repeat in the future if I will take more care to choose a quality activity even if it involves paying something more.
