⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful experience with Tommy B Boating! We booked a private boat tour in Crystal River with our 11-year-old son and our Labrador puppy, Bruno, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! Tommy made the experience enjoyable for our whole family, including our dog. The best part was seeing a mother manatee swimming with her baby in their natural habitat! It was such a special moment, especially for our son. We’re so glad we chose a private boat tour instead of kayaking. We got to enjoy the beautiful scenery, see wildlife, and experience Crystal River comfortably as a family. Highly recommend Tommy B Boating, especially for families traveling with children and dogs! 🐾❤️

We had a great time with Tommy on the tour. He gave us the complete tour & communicated with other boats to find the manatees (we were early in the season so there weren’t than many yet. He talked about the history of the springs and areas in the bay and river as we toured. He also gave us the lowdown on the waterfront restaurants we passed along the way. We also had the chance to feed the tarpon along the dock, thanks to some folks who were cleaning fish as we were headed to the boat. All in all, we had a lovely tour and saw a variety of wildlife in addition to manatees. Tommy is a great guide and we plan to return during peak manatee viewing season. Very safe and very mellow tour; exactly what we wanted.

Fabulous dog friendly sunset tour. Tommy knows the area so well and we saw manatees and a dolphin. We will come back and book with him again.

This is the second time we went on a Kings Bay tour with Captain Tommy. We had a delightful time exploring all that King's Bay has to offer.Captain Tommy is knowledgeable about the wildlife and natural history of the area. We really enjoyed the boat ride as did our family. WE can't wait to do it again.

Tommy B was a great tour guide, and we saw so many manatees up close! He was an expert boater, maneuvering carefully around the manatees and swimmers. He was knowledgeable about manatees and other wildlife in the area. I would highly recommend this tour!

Captain Tommy B. was very knowledgeable about the manatees and river. He was also very conscientious about safety ... passengers, manatees, and other watercraft on the river. We saw many, many, many manatees!

Overall, the experience was disappointing. We drove over an hour each way to see the manatees. we left having seen (?) one small manatee under the water. It was very difficult to see the one moving form in the water. The boat driver, Tommy B was pleasant. This was my 2nd time to book a tour to see manatees. The first time the tour operator contacted me ahead of time to advise me the m as matters were just not there and allowed me to cancel and use the time to do something else with my out of town guests. I wish Tommy B had done the same.

Our trip is $200 for 2 adults and four kids, a private tour! Awesome, I can’t wait to share about our experience. In the beginning, we have a wrong high way direction so we are late, even like this, Tommy is so nice to wait for us. While the trip, Tommy gave us many knowledge about manatee, very adorable and nice animal. Also I want to find out alligator, Tommy helps us to do even we don’t find it at last. We all have a very special memory. Very recommend for the family with kids!!!

Family trip to Fla and wanted to see the manatee. Weather was perfect for a smooth boat ride around Crystal river. The captain was great with information and finding manatee.

We had a great time on this tour. Tommy was knowledgeable, positive and fun. We learned so much. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend! My only frustration was where to actually meet at Pete’s Pier — fairly big place so you’ll have to ask where to meet up. No big deal, but be aware.

Our boat trip with Tommy was fantastic! There were 4 in our party, so it was like a customized cruise for just us! He’s extremely knowledgeable about Crystal River, the wild life and of course the manatees. He took his time & we were not rushed at all. Very patient captain especially with how crowded it was on the river with paddle boarders, kayaks & other boats. It was chilly but he had blankets on board along with sunglasses & water. I wouldn’t hesitate to do this excursion with Tommy B. He is very knowledgeable about the manatees and we had a great time going with him. I always felt safe and he is extremely friendly. I enjoyed it so much that I ended up booking two more times with him. I had a wonderful time the three times I was with him. I would definitely book with him again if I get back to Crystal River. .

Absolutely, one of the best decisions booking this tour. Knew we had the right captain for our tour right away. The owner and tour guide, Tommy B, was exceptionally knowledgeable with the local wildlife and manatees. Friendly personable and respected by all the captains on the river from different outfits. Learned so much about this area from Tommy B, wildlife and surroundings in Crystal River area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Kings Bay and the springs. We saw soo many manatees! The conditions were perfect for viewing: cold morning and low tide. It was spectacular. Great job by Capt. Tommy B.

Tommy B is a fantastic, knowledgable captain/guide. We saw 2 bald eagles, manatees with a baby, dolphin, and turtles. Boat is well maintained and very comfortable. Tommy is familiar with the history of the area so you leave with a global picture of Crystal River.

Wonderful boat tour! We booked a tour as a family of three (Two Adults and a 3,5yo). Ended up being the only three guests on the boat. Tommy is super friendly and knows so much about the surroundings and the manatees. Even though it was not manatee season and they were very hard to spot, he managed to find them! Tour even took 2 hours instead of the 1,5 hour we booked. We had a great time on the boat! :) Definitely recommend! Thanks Tommy! If we ever head back during winter season we will come visit you again! ;)

I was recommended Tommy by Petes Pier. I was relieved when I heard he had experience with Autistic children since my daughter is on the autism spectrum. Also thought it was great when we asked if he could bring his dog with him on the boat the day we would be there and he was more than happy to bring him along. Really helped put my daughter at ease. Tommy was very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Tommy and if you're a dog lover ask for Bandit to come along he is a wonderful dog. very sweet. Our guide Tom was very thoughtful and tried do max from 1 hour and 30 min trip. It was enough to see a lot of manatees and few of wild animals. This is a private tour and I would recommend to my friends.
