Our captain was Paul and he was awesome! Showed me one of the best dolphin experiences ever and even came back to get me on the beach to take me out to see sharks. One thing I have always wanted to see. Definitely gave my family a wonderful time. Thank you for a wonderful time Paul.

We had an awesome experience on the 6-passenger boat, the Jolly Ventures, with Captain Matt to see dolphins and then the Blue Angels practice. Matt was very personable and knowledgeable, especially about dolphins… he gave us many interesting facts about their lives and communication, etc. When we saw them, one of them actually swam partially under our boat and seemed to be leading us! Then we were taken to an island to watch the Blue Angels practice… what a spectacular treat!! Matt made it a point to engage with each passenger for awhile. He so obviously enjoys his job! And he seemed to take a lot of pride in keeping the boat clean and comfortable. Out of the many options for dolphin cruises, we are so happy and fortunate that we chose Jolly Dolphin.
Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids) had a wonderful time! Captain was great and the boat was comfortable. We saw some dolphins, and stopped at Shell Island for some snorkeling (gear provided by Captain) and went shelling. Kids and adults both had a wonderful time!
Fantastic cruise to see dolphins, which we indeed did see! So much fun to see and so close! Captain Matt was great. He kept it interesting. Our 18 yr old grandson loved his stories and his knowledge. We had booked the cruise a day before but the weather was not so great and Captain Matt called us and offed us to go the following morning instead and that was a great decision as the weather was perfect that morning. Thank you Captain Matt and Cindy!
Our family (6 including 9mo. old) did the private 3 hr. tour with Tim. The boat ride was absolutely amazing. We saw a few dolphins, went to a small island and walked around for a while. He had waters for us on the boat and Tim was very friendly and informative! We would definitely do it again and ask for Tim!!!
Highly recommend the private tour! Captain Matt was awesome! So knowledgeable and willing to share his recommendations and “must dos”. He was flexible, easy to converse with and gave us some great local fishing tips. We saw dolphins, went snorkeling and toured the bay. Snorkel conditions weren’t the best because of the rain they’ve last few days but Matt was flexible and let us decide if we wanted to try. Would 10/10 recommend this trip!
Wonderful experience. Even though children opted for route where dolphins not a sure thing, we saw numerous pods dolphins. Captain Paul was great
Best experience of a weeklong family vacation. Booked 4 hr trip. Matt made a few suggestions and we are able to guide the trip based on our preferences. Had a hiccup no fault of the captain. Matt and I took care of it without anyone knowing. Matt was awesome. No regrets money well spent.
This excursion was perfect. Everything went smoothly. Captain Paul was great! Saw lots of dolphins. Very relaxing and boat was comfortable. Got to stay as long as we wanted at the private beach spot.
Our group of 6 did the "Private (or Semi-Private) Dolphin Cruise in Pensacola Beach with Remote Beach Stop". We had a wonderful morning on the water. Captn Jim was an excellent guide and even taught us some interesting facts about the area we didn't know. Yes, we saw the beautiful dolphin playing in the sound. It was a great experience.
We had a great experience with Carson. He was very knowledgeable about marine life and the area in general. He tailored the trip to what we wanted and it was a fantastic trip. Highly recommend!
Very relaxing! Captain Paul was knowledgeable and took us to the perfect spots. We saw lots of dolphins and kids loved the beach stop. Our confirmation pickup location was incorrect in my email but luckily Captain Paul reached out so we didn’t wait long.
It has a little hard to find the location. It is behind a restaurant. And the building/driveways are very close together. But there was plenty of parking in the back and the dock was clearly labeled. We have a very nice guide. He told us about a few of things we saw along the way. We did see dolphins and he was able to 'follow' them for a bit. they came very close to the boat. Highlight of the trip. The beach was fun. Smaller than I had envisioned but fun none the less. I would do it again and recommend to others.
Enjoyed the trip with Paul. He’s a patient and kind man. Showed us many dolphins! The boat is clean and pretty. Gave kids a sliding board and a fishing net! Will do it again when we go back.
Captain Paul was great. We saw a bunch of dolphins in the wild and he took us to a great private island area where the kids could play in the sand. Great family experience.
Totally worth it for a family of 5, boat was comfortable and shady. Got to see cool sites and most importantly we saw lots and lots of dolphins and got to go to a cool island only reachable by beach. It was the perfect way to break up a beach/pool vacation. Highly recommend as a splurge for a once in a lifetime experience.
Outstanding trip!! Capt Paul did an excellent job and was great with the kids. Saw lots of dolphins and a few sharks and the trip to the beach was beautiful.
I can’t say enough kind things about Jolly Sailing. Everyone has been so nice and accommodating from Cindy who helped me book the tour to our crew, Jonica and Captain Glenn. We saw lots of dolphins, a beautiful sunset, and did some snorkeling. We did the sunset cruise but if you’re more interested in snorkeling they recommended going in the morning. All in all we had a fantastic time and can’t wait to go again next year.
We had a great time, we took our Granddaughters out, it was there first experience on the water. They had a great time and as one of them said “it was the best day ever” which is what we were hoping for. Capt Paul was great and very accommodating. Glad we decided to book!
We seen so many dolphins they were definitely active!! The beach stop was nice also we stopped in the bay but was a quick walk across to the other side which was the Gulf.
We had a great time on the boat and saw lots of dolphins. Captain was very friendly and flexible, letting us skip the beach so we could spend more time on the water
My family and I enjoyed every moment of our outing with Jolly Sailing! We saw so much sealife, loved every private beach, and just sat back to enjoy the ride in the bay and gulf. So much fun!!
Paul was a great guide! He pointed out all the special places along the way! We saw dolphins and had a wonderful day swimming on the island while collecting seashells!
Go see Captain Paul! He was knowledgeable and shared lots history with us during our boat ride. We enjoyed watching the dolphins, seeing the school of sharks, and the Blue Angels during our trip.
Really enjoyed the “private” nature of the trip for our family of 5. We were lucky in that water was calm, very clear and emerald green. We were able to see quite a few dolphin, sting rays, and a large school of Jack Crevalle. Our captain Paul was very nice and laid back and told us about all the landmarks we passed along the way. The hour long stop over at “sand beach” was a good add. Very laid back nice boat ride on a beautiful day.
This trip was amazing and well worth the money! Captain Paul was funny and was able to show us dolphins, sharks and even a sea turtle. As well as lots of interesting history and other local information. The remote beach stop was beautiful! Definitely recommend!
This is a must do! You will not be disappointed! Of course they can't guarantee you dolphin sightings but the captain is a long term local who knows where the pods are and actually knows the dolphin's names because there are over 250 residents dolphins in the bay! (We saw a whole bunch) Absolute professionalism and knowledge of the water, waves, area, and answered all of our questions. The captain (Michael) knew so much history of the area and the two forts we saw and the naval base there. It was the perfect afternoon! Thank you Jolly Dolphin Tours for one of our family's best time! Highly recommend.
Captain PAUL was fabulous, a wealth of local information and very entertaining. My family loved it all from the dolphins to the history of the area. It truly was a fun day!
We took the 6 person blue angels and dolphin cruise. We got so lucky and had a pod of dolphins around our boat. We were so close! It was the highlight of our trip. Then we went to a beach and got to watch the Blue Angels fly right over us. Our guide was friendly and funny. We will definitely do it again!
We saw more animals than expected. The weather and the water cooperated magnificently. Captain Paul was a great host and guide. He has eyes like a hawk as he spotted the manatee well off in the distance before any of us…….
Our dolphin cruise started on a chilly Friday morning...we found a large pod of dolphins within 30 minutes of heading out. We even saw a baby dolphin..it was better than I had hoped. Paul gave us good information about the area on the way to the private beach and back. The beach had live critters on the side where the boat let us off and pretty good shells on the gulf side but the shells were rather discolored. Paul took us to look for sting rays too we saw a lot of them. It was a fun day on the water!
We have come to Pensacola Beach a couple of times this summer and both times we decided to do the sailboat tour! The sailboat only holds 6 people max and so the first time there was 4 of us and no one else joined us. It was amazing! The Caption was so nice and showed Morris how to drive the sailboat. We loved it! We had dolphins around us! When we went back in Sept. no one that was with us had ever sailed before and we got a different Caption. He was nice. I do wish we had the same guy as before but luckily we got the same first mate MJ! She is so much fun and very sweet lady! She kept us informed and full of beverages! We tried to get dolphins that day but no luck and there was like no wind... so it was a slow moving sail. That was no fault of Caption or anything it was just the weather for the day. If you have never done sailing you should try it!
Our family took this private tour and LOVED it! To entertain three teens is a huge challenge and this tour was a hit. Paul was our captain and was he was very knowledgeable of the area, the sites and the sea life. We really hit the jackpot and was lucky enough to be on the waters while the Blue Angels were doing practice flights and maneuvers right over head!!!! The beach was secluded and felt like a private break away from the crowds. The beverages were cold and Paul was a fantastic host and boatmen. Would recommend and would request Paul if you have the option.
Captain Paul was amazing and really took the time to make sure that our trip was the best that it could be. We got to see not only dolphins but sharks and stingrays. I would recommend Jolly Sailing to anyone that would like to experience a great trip.
Captain Paul was so very kind and informative. We spotted a few huge pods of dolphins and we were able to observe them for a very long time. Great to see them in their natural environment. He also took us to a cool spot to snorkel- not the Caribbean coral reefs but pretty interesting.
We sailed on the Jolly Venture for our anniversary - booked it for the two of us on Sunday morning. We had so much fun! Paul was our captain and took us all through the sound, Ft. Pickens, and a private beach stop where we could get out a swim. We are new to the area so this was a wonderful new perspective. Paul was super helpful answering our many questions. Hope to go again in the fall!
We booked a private snorkeling experience for six with Jolly Sailing and Dolphin Cruise. I've taken excursions off cruise ships that were not this enjoyable and cost more per person. Capt Paul was patient with my younger grand kids and this was seriously worth every penny spent! Great value, great guide, fun, informative and a great activity for people of all ages and experience level.
What a day! My wife and I booked the boat with Captain Paul for a 3 hour adventure. He quickly located a dozen or so dolphins and we were thrilled! A wonderful cruise followed to Fort Pickens area, then further to a private beach on an island near the Pensacola Naval Air Station. Although Paul couldn't have arranged this, the timing was perfect for an hour long Blue Angels practice session as we approached the beach. What a show! And what a beach! A great history lesson of various sites was provided by Paul on our long journey back to the dock. Beer on board was cold and the sun was hot!
We enjoyed our private boat ride with Captain Paul, the dolphins were frisky, came very close to the boat, and the beach was so beautiful and peaceful. Drinks were cold, the shade top was nice, and we much appreciated the bathroom onboard. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful afternoon with Captain Mike on a private dolphin cruise. Our family of 6 enjoyed one of the company’s newest boats. Captain Mike was great! He was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure we had the best experience possible.
Nice experience with friends. The guide was very friendly and taught us a lot of interesting things along the way. We had the chance to spot dolphins several times. Snorkelling is rather disappointing if you are not a beginner.
Excelente!! recomiendo mucho este paseo es privado y tres horas es suficiente para pasarla bien. Administren su tiempo, la primera hora es emocionante pero la última es de relajación, cuidado con los mareos
