I have been on this trip a few times before. Captain Sam does a great job coordinating everything. I book with her personally and tell her what I want to do each time. She does not disappoint. My captain was Henry this year as last year. He was wonderful. He even remembered what we did last year and took me new sights this year. I appreciated his knowledge of the area and our conversation. I saw a shark for the first time ever in the wild. I even swam with a school of fish! I book a two hour trip in the ocean and it was a great time! I would highly recommend using KeyZ Charters for your boat trip in Islamorada.

Enjoyed our 2 hour tour. Our tour guide, Henry, was very knowledgeable about local aquatic life and the Keys, in general. While we didn't see as much wildlife as we had hoped it was still an enjoyable trip.

Henry was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time. We saw lots of birds, fish and even a manatee! It was a nice, comfortable small boat with a shaded area if you preferred to sit in the shade. Worth the cost. Would do again.

My husband and I had an amazing time. Do to the wind it was difficult to see down into the water frequently, but out Guide, Henry , was wonderful and did his very best to find places where the surface was calm enough to see the bottom. We saw tarpon, birds, sponges and upside down jellyfish. Henry is extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, water and area. It was truly a wonderful experience from the time we got on the boat until we got off. Thanks Henry we enjoyed every minute!!

This was a wonderful boat tour! Henry, the captain, was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the area, its history, and the local wildlife. We saw some nesting osprey, some manatee, and a very cool bird rookery, all with informative commentary. Henry was responsive to our requests and made the trip memorable. Overall very happy with this tour.

We had SUCH a great day! Henry shared so much information! We saw croc, birds galore (even a bald eagle sitting right above a pelican), red snapper, sponges, sunken houseboats. Thank you, Henry! We will be back!

Had a fun and informative 1 hour Eco tour with Captain Meg. Enjoyed the ride and learned a lot. Only disappointment (to no fault of anyone) was we didn’t see any dolphins, manatees or crocodiles. We did see other marine and wildlife. Highly recommend.

Captain Henry was awesome! Very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make sure we saw some wildlife. Stretched the end a little because dolphins started playing with us. Shared info about plant life and history too!! Great captain!

Sam was an excellent captain, very professional and knowledgable. We even rescued a Cormorant that was entangled with a fish hook and line. Sam took the injured bird to be medically treated when we returned. We saw many different bird species, fish, iguanas and a crocodile on our trip. Very enjoyable couple of hours!

Great sunset tour! Boat comfortably holds 6-8 people. Our tour guide was wonderful. I highly recommend. We toured mangroves and saw many birds, a croc, a manatee and then enjoyed the sunset.

A good investment and great way to get out on the water and learn a little more about the ecology of the area. Henry, our guide, was informative, engaging and easy. Saw dolphins (from afar), manatee, and a crocodile plus lots of birds. Highly recommend.

Jessie was our captain and we had a great time. Wish we could have seen some Manatees and dolphins but that was not our luck

Jessie was incredibly knowledgeable and an awesome guide. We were able to see some cool wildlife and of course had an incredible time on the bay and ocean side on the water.

Key Z was great to work with. We originally were going to do a snorkel trip but the winds and visibility weren't great. They were proactive in assessing the weather and letting us know our options (including cancelling if we were so inclined). We decided to go out anyway with a shortened time. We had a really lovely couple of hours at sea, and went to a sandbar to swim around. The boat was nice, captain was lovely, and overall great customer service.

Awesome trip very informative although the water was a little rough the day we went we still saw two different kinds of turtles and lots of sea life back in the man groves. Jessie was awesome and a great boat pilot and very knowledgeable about the local ecosystem. We highly recommend this tour.

By far the best boating experience we have done in the Keys! Our captain, Henry, was not only professional but extremely knowledgeable about the Florida Keys, their history, and the ecosystems surrounding them. My partner and I brought our dog (we saw on BringFido that Keyz Charters was Dog friendly) he had a BLAST!!!! Our only regret is that we didn't book a longer tour! Thanks so much to Henry, and Keyz charters, we can't wait to come back!

Our Ecotour occurred several weeks ago. This review is a bit delayed due our heavy travel schedule. It speaks volumes, however, that we are as thrilled today with the memory of our experience as we were on the day of our tour (mid February). Our tour guide was very knowledgable and demonstrated great patience and commitment to provide us with delightful and memorable sites to remember. Great trip. Great people. Awesome look at the indigenous wildlife in the keys through the eyes of a pleasant naturalist and wonderful guid. Boat was comfortable trip met expectations and was exactly the the right length.

We had a really good 2 hour Eco Tour with Capt.Sarah. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and handled the boat like a Pro. She knew where to find manatees for us which was what we wanted. We also viewed a large variety of birds and the time went by so fast! I would definitely recommend this particular tour.

What a great time! We asked Captain Sam to show us wildlife, and she delivered. We saw pelicans, egrets, herons, cormorants, osprey, vultures, mama and baby manatees, small sharks, jellies, stingrays, barracuda, mullet, snapper, needlefish, and countless other little fish darting through the mangroves. I’m impressed how much you can see in a short time with someone who knows where to go. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all the flora, fauna, and the ecosystem and how us humans impact it and what we can do to protect the species. Would definitely go again for an eco tour or anything else she has to offer.

Captain Jenna was great and very knowledgeable for our 2 hour eco-tour. We visited several mangrove islands and saw different nesting birds, manatees, sharks, stingray, jellyfish and many types of fish. In the summer, I’d recommend the first tour in the morning when the wildlife are more active. Definitely recommend this tour to get out and see the real Florida Keys!

Excellent customized tour of bay—saw manatees and lots of birds. Very knowledgeable about marine ecosystem.

It was so nice to be out on the water with Jenna. She knew all the nooks and crannies and did her best to show us as much as she could in a short amount of time. We saw beautiful birds and 4 manatees and some nurse sharks.

We took the 2 hour sunset ecotour and had a great time. Captain was terrific and clearly familiar with the local birds, gators and other wildlife. We were fortunate to see a manatee as well as a pod of dolphins running in our wake and along side of our boat. Watching the sunset was a terrific end to a great day.

We did a 2 hour eco Tour, and overall Captain Samantha was great and very accommodating to our needs, and I really appreciated that. She showed us some wildlife, different species of birds, and some fish. However we were really hoping to see dolphins or manatees, but we didn't get to see any. Captain Samantha really tried hard finding them, she went around the mangroves couple of times and then to the open sea, but they didn't turn up. Of course I'm not blaming anyone for that, but still the overall experience was not a five star experience, especially given the price we paid for this. We also did some swimming in the sandbar, the temp of the water was very comfortable, and it was very peaceful and quiet, but it had to be cut short because my kids did not enjoy it. Thats another reason why our experience was not five star. So again, this review does not reflect anything about keyz rentals or Captain Samantha in general, just sharing my highly subjective review on our personal tour and how I felt about it.

We had a great time on a 2 hour ecotour with KeyZ charters! Captain Jenna taught us a lot about the different birds in the mangroves and took us to look for manatees and crocs. Some of my family was running late and Jenna took us out close by and came back in and got them when they arrived and was very accommodating.

My husband and I enjoyed a two hour Eco-tour with Samantha. It was a windy morning but this trip still did not disappoint. She was very knowledgeable, answered lots of our questions, and show us many interesting spots and lots of wildlife around Islamorada.

Fabulous trip with Captain Kelly! We took the 2 hr eco tour - Kelly asked what we'd like to see and catered our trip accordingly! We saw closeups of Bird Island, learned a ton about some fascinating birds - frigates, osprey, egrets and more as well as the mangroves. Kelly was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! Will keep KeyZ Charters in mind for future visits!!!
