The guide Jack sure knew his stuff. Not only did he guide us to see lots of wildlife - manatees, dolphins, pelicans, herons, egrets, - but he also told us stories about the history and ecology pf the area. Everything I wanted and more in a kayaking excursion.
Such a beautiful morning with Jack, Mike and Tyler! They were each so patient with us as first time paddle boarders, never rushed us and certainly made us feel comfortable! They were careful to point out all types of birds, and carefully got us close to both dolphins and manatees. This team has an obvious love and respect for the area and the animals we encountered. A great way to learn to paddleboard, you’ll love it!
Jack and crew were so friendly and knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and history of the area. We saw countless birds, dolphins and manatees! The water was calm and paddling was easy. 10/10 experience!

Jack was a great guide. He told us some great history of the area. We saw a sea turtle which he said was a first on the tour. We also saw some manatees, and lots of birds. Highly recommend especially in the morning at 1030am it wasn’t too hot

This was honestly one of the highlights of our Florida trip and the perfect thing to do after getting off our cruise at Port Canaveral. The water was unbelievably calm the morning we went, and within minutes of launching we had dolphins swimming right next to our boards. At one point a dolphin surfaced so close to us that we got an incredible photo that looks unreal. What really stood out was how relaxing and beginner-friendly the tour was. The guides made everyone feel comfortable before we even got on the water, and the small group made the whole experience feel personal instead of crowded. We also saw manatees, tons of birds, and beautiful views around Port Canaveral. The scenery was amazing, the water was glassy calm, and the wildlife encounters felt completely natural and not rushed. You can tell these guides know exactly where to go and truly care about the experience. If you are visiting Cocoa Beach or getting on or off a cruise ship at Port Canaveral, this tour is absolutely worth it. We would 100% do it again.
Our tour guide Jack was great and very informative! Overall really awesome experience and loved the variety of birds we saw. However, there were not a ton of manatees that we ended up seeing and barely any dolphin activity. Whereas, my husband and I went to Manatee Cove right afterward to look around and go for a walk afterward and saw a TON of them. They may want to consider a change of location to optimize wildlife viewing but otherwise a wonderful time!

The tour itself was incredible and had tons of wildlife including dolphins and manatees. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the wildlife and area. it was a beautiful day. We saw the tips of the head of a manatee, some unique birds, a manta ray, a sting ray and dolphins that were rolling in and out of the water.

This was easily one of the best experiences I had near Port Canaveral or I guess the Cocoa Beach area. I booked the dolphin and manatee kayak tour and got incredibly lucky—dolphins were swimming right next to our kayak (see photo!). It didn’t feel like a distant sighting at all, it felt like a true up-close wildlife experience. The guides were amazing—super knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable, even if it was your first time kayaking. The pace was relaxed, the group was small, and it never felt rushed. We also spotted manatees (but I didn’t get a photo of the manatee) and I learned a lot about the local wildlife and the Indian River Lagoon, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re visiting Port Canaveral or Cocoa Beach, this is an absolute must-do. It’s perfect for beginners and families, and the wildlife encounters make it unforgettable. I would book this again in a heartbeat!
Jack was a wonderful tour guide. He had a great deal of knowledge about the Merritt Island waterway and the history of the area from many years ago. We saw dolphins, manatees, fish jumping, many bird species, and the weather was sunny and warm. We highly recommend this tour and Jack as a guide.
