Plantation's Kings Bay Sunset Cruise

It was a nice night, but a bit cloudy so not a great sunset, but the crew Krystal and Captain Dave were excellent tour guides and fun was had by all. Good Times!!

we went on the sunset cruise. Celeste did a great job f pointing out wildlife, telling us about the area and interesting facts and stories. she's a wealth of info and energy. Captain Dave and Mackenzie did a fine job of captaining the boat.

It was nice to see the sunset. Can’t go wrong taking a little cruise on the river. Sunsets don’t disappoint!!

Captain Paul and Tyler did an excellent job of taking us on a tour of King’s Bay. They were so much fun and full of information about the area. We got to see a dolphin chasing some fish, lots of birds and the most beautiful sunset

Captain Andrew was amazing!! A wonderful experience! Will definitely return for another tour! Easy to find and a great value.

The boat was clean and comfortable. The captain and the crew were very friendly and we were taken to a beautiful spot for sunset pictures.

Captains were great and very knowledgeable. Made the trip fun and informative. Saw manatees, beautiful sunset and learned about the springs.

The no see-ums. It would be very nice for you as a company to forewarn future customers of the insect problem. Perhaps even provide some bug spray prior to departure. It was awful. All the kids were scratching; we could barely hear the guide because the bugs occupied attention.

Very nice cruise. Our guide was very good, funny and informative. Unfortunately sun turned to clouds so could not see many manatees but no control over that. I would Difinitely do it again and the price was very reasonable. I should throw in that this time of year, the noseeums and mosquitoes will eat you alive at that time of night so come prepared. 😂

Though it was a poor time of year to see manatees, we were able to see many seabirds and an eagle. The sunset was spectacular and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.

Saw all parts of Plantation Bay. The sun only peeked out for a minute when we just started out on the "sunset" cruise but it was still fun. Wind kept it a little cool, so make sure you take a wind breaker or jacket. Saw eagles and dolphins and got a very informative talk during the cruise from the captains about the ecolgy of the bay and the springs.

Such a beautiful area and very enjoyable cruise. Staff was quite knowledgeable about the area with plenty of humor mixed in.

This tour was a great way to end our sight seeing day. The captains were knowledgeable, informative and also provided a few amusing stories about the sights. The sunset was great, as was the weather. All in all, this was a great cruise; one that I would highly recommend.

This is a GREAT tour! Both the captain and docent (a great team) were very knowledgeable and passionate about their part of the Crystal River. They interjected local history about property and unique parts of the river. AND we saw TWO manatees. Bring a coat because it gets cooler that time of day.

Being on the water with such knowledge guides! We will highly recommend this company to our friends!

Our tour guide and driver were humorous, knowledgeable and entertaining. The mtg spot was not clear. There was no signage pulling into the lot. The address led to a hotel and it was not made clear the mtg spot was on the water in front of the hotel.

The Captain and guide (Kendra) were very friendly, knowledge of the area, and ran a fantastic cruise/tour. We saw jumping mullet, manatees, dolphins, and a beautiful sunset. I appreciate how family friendly the tour was.

It was just a beautiful sunset. The Captain had very interesting info. Had a great time. We would recommend this cruise for families and couples.

We booked the sunset as we have a little one who loves to see the sunset. Unfortunately it turned into a manatee search and then an adult needed to use the bathroom which then turned into a rushed boat ride and not much of a sunset. With having 7 of my own children, we used the restroom before boarding. Was on the water maybe an hour total with returning to dock with most of that time being searching for a manatee. The captains were entertaining talking and giving facts of bay. It was an okay experience. I wouldn’t do it again.

I genuinely enjoyed the Sunset Cruise. The crew was very professional. The boat captains were skillful. The person narrating during the cruise was knowledgeable. My only suggestion is that the boat have 4 fans, one in each corner, on order to help keep the visitors comfortable. Florida is extremely humid. This would help tremendously

The captain and tour guide were very knowledgeable and kept the tour exciting. Beautiful sunset. They stopped the tour for us to relax and enjoy the moment of tranquility.

This was a wonderful trip got to see manatees, crocodile and a lot of history and random new information I did not know about the area!

We couldn't have asked for a more Beautiful Sunny Day, warm and a little humid temp in the high 80's. As evening approached and the breeze was coming off the river, you can tell the evening was going to be something special and a perfect night for being on a boat in the middle of Crystal River and Kings Bay. The weather promised a warm evening with a fabulous sunset followed by a bright full moon, which lit up the river & bay! Our Captain & Guide worked very well together and grew up in the area. The knowledge between them both was something else - working with each other made the cruise an Adventure instead of just being a boat ride. In working together they spotted wildlife and made sure we saw Manatees, Tarpon Fish, A dolphin, A gator or two, and all kinds of Birds, and spotted how the water was coming up from underwater springs. The crew also pointed out famous people's houses who lived along the bay and most of what the County is doing on the restoration that's going on and the History behind all the work in restoring the river and bay. The price is reasonable for a two hour tour, especially the SunSet Cruise. The boat is well kept up,and yes you can bring snacks and something to drink- and no glass cups. One other thing- make sure the reservations are done before you go! For our friends with disabilities, all is good for an enjoyable evening or day cruise, plenty of parking and bathrooms on shore-no bathrooms on the boat. Glad we took the sunset cruise I think if we would have gone earlier it would have been very crowded. It was very informative they told us the history of Crystal River in about the restoration that's going on. We saw manatees, alligators, tarpen, and baby ospreys

The most memorable part was watching the manatees play around., then came the most beautiful part and that was watching the sun set over the horizon and all of the colors that were created in the sky.

Traveled to Crystal River, for a little relaxation. This was the perfect way to end the day of sight seeing.

Beautiful sunset, we saw several manatees in multiple areas. The knowledgeable staff insured that we had a great cruise. We had two dolphins sightings a baby alligator. This is a must do cruise. I will definitely be back.

This is a great cruise. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Boat was clean and well kept. We were treated to multiple manatee sightings, various birds, dolphins and a small gator. It was great getting a view of the bay and learned alot about the area. Very well worth the price. Would definitely go again. Highly recommend.

We did an off season sunset cruise but our captain and guide were so familiar with the manatees they were able to help us spot a few manatees plus a sunset!! Bonus!!! It was very informative!!

The captain was very well informed!!! It was an enjoyable night!!! And yeah, gentlemen that he called his secretary that helped with everything was absolutely amazing, and not bad on the eyes either, lol 😊

We had a wonderful evening on our Sunset Cruise. Our Captain was very interesting and a lot of fun! We were able to learn about the local history, and the Celebrity Life surrounding the area. King's Bay is beautiful, and the sunset was perfect!

Captain Mark and first mate Ryan were excellent guides, knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging. Also very helpful as one of our party must use a walker and needed assistance. We saw manatees, dolphins, an egret, brown pelicans, cormorants, a bald eagle and other species of birds and fish. Also saw an alligator. The weather was great, sunset was beautiful. Kudos for a great tour. Mark and Ryan were very considerate of all the passengers.

The staff was outstanding. Great sunset cruise. Saw manatee, various fishes and a huge osprey nest with babies!

A beautiful sunset! The guide on our trip seemed very knowledgeable. If you are expecting to see an abundance of manatee, then you might be a little disappointed.

Greeting was very friendly boat clean lots of room & Saedty was all addressed. ....but Listening to motor shifting gears....crunch crunch Was very difficult to hear the guide. Would of been helpful if the guide wore a Microphone. Plus walk around instead of staying in front of boat behind the wheel of boat. Overall considering there was no Visible Sunset would of been better if we were brought to where manatees could be.

History around the bay and local details was excellent. Sunset was beautiful. Captain stopped for us to take photos.

This was a last minute decision and it was a wonderful cruise. The guides were knowledgeable and personable. King's Bay is a beautiful spot. Highly recommend the cruise.
