We booked a few days in advance, and on the morning of the tour it got cancelled due to not enough guests, they emailed me at 1am the morning of and sent a text 45 mins before we were meant to be at the meeting point, and already in lake park. I rung them and the guy on the phone said we are unable to take the boat out due to not enough guests. I feel this was not an adequate timeframe for cancelling the booking. I feel they should give 24 hours notice to cancel or ring you in the morning of your tour as we already spent money on an Uber to Lake Park. the guy on the phone was not helpful and said well you can have a rebook on the sunset cruise or get a refund. It’s up to you. I feel the customer service was inadequate and I don’t see why not having enough guests is a good reason to cancel the tour and when I asked, why is that a reason to not take the boat out? He just said there wasn’t enough people. I feel they should honour the reservations as it’s not our fault other people did not book or they should’ve given an true explanation on why the boat didn’t go out. I understand they sent us an email at 1 am in the morning, but I feel that this is an inadequate time for us to see it. I will not be re booking in the future

Itinerary
Our Peanut Island Sandbar & Soak cruise is all about kicking back and enjoying the best of the Palm Beaches from the water. We cruise the scenic Intracoastal Waterway before stopping in shallow, crystal-clear water near Peanut Island, where the real fun begins. Once we drop anchor, it’s time to get in, cool off, and relax. Float alongside the boat, lounge on our oversized water mats, or grab a paddleboard and explore at your own pace. While we’re anchored and cruising, your captain will share a lightly narrated overview of Peanut Island’s fascinating history, including stories of its past and the famous Kennedy Bunker—just enough to add some local flavor without taking away from the laid-back vibe. This is a BYOB experience for guests 21 and over. Bring what you like, settle in on the floats, and enjoy one of South Florida’s most iconic sandbar-style hangouts the way it’s meant to be enjoyed—on the water, at your own pace.

Great small group on the boat. Friendly and informative staff! Snorkeling was fantastic- could have done that all day long!
A storm came in, so we did not get the full experience. What time we did have was wonderful. Very nice and informative staff. We will be trying again before we leave.
A little disappointing. I had expected more information about the area and Peanut Island history. Only a few cans of soda with no Diet Coke or Pepsi options and mini bottles of water.
This was such a wonderful experience! We will definitely be doing this again. The guys operating the boat were so competent and friendly. They were very helpful and provided us with lots of cool water toys, like standup paddle boards, to use in the water.
This boat tour is an awesome experience for visitors to Florida and locals too! The captain and his first mate we gracious and friendly from the get go! We loved the relaxing boat ride to the island. Upon arrival the captain clearly explained the opportunities for snorkeling, hanging out at the boat, or exploring the island by foot! They offered us bottled water and soda which was welcome on such a hot day. My friend and I took the advice of the crew yo walk down the beach a bit yo where the snorkeling was better. Three hours was the perfect amount of time to swim, try out a paddle board and relax on the boat. The day was so enjoyable, I can’t wait yo do it again!
I would definitely do more often. This experience was a fun day in the sun. My sister in law was visiting from Massachusetts.
Overall a great day and easy to access
We had such a fun day on the water! The weather was beautiful and the boat was roomy and clean. Our group felt well taken care of. The captain and mate were attentive and friendly! Highly recommend this tour to Peanut Island!
I had previously done the shuttle to Peanut Island, so when my friend was in town I was looking forward to the extras that this tour seemed to offer. The price difference is substantial compared to the shuttle option with a different vendor. The meeting spot was easy to find. The boat is a great size -- not too huge. From the beginning, though, it was a strange experience. We boarded the boat and the captain said absolutely nothing to the passengers. He didn't introduce himself, nor did he say a single word as he drove us to the island. I felt like I had entered someone's house and they ignored me. The assistant was a bit friendlier, but not enough to help create a fun vibe. This is described as a tour, but it was really just a shuttle to one spot. They had just 4 paddle boards for the group to share. We had more than 20 people on the boat. It would have been great to also have some noodles or other toys to float on. They did have some snorkels and masks to share. We received zero information about the island.
Boat was so nice and Sean and the crew were amazing! 3 hours was perfect and we will definitely be taking this trip again.
I booked a tour when my wife and I got there we were sent to another location to pay $25 to get to Peanut and those people are rude and have no customer service skills. I need my full refund or i will dispute it with my credit card.
They have the worst customer service! They send us to another place to pay another $25 to get Peanut island and refused to refund us our $160.
If you’re ever in the West Palm Beach area, make this one of your highlights Put it on your to-do list
Great experience. Shawn & Michael were awsome
There were no good directions on where to go to wait when arriving before boarding the boat. (signs, arrows info). Parking was not bad so that was a plus. We went with 11 people (4 adults, 3 teens, 4 younger kids). I would not really recommend this with smaller children. It most defiantly more geared for adults from the activities to the 2 men running the boat. There was only one other group that had a child with them and everyone else seemed upset that children came. We ended up learning you can taxi to and from the same place they took us and did that the next day and it was cheaper and we had just as much fun. So overall was not horrible just wouldn't do it again, and would recommend it to be an adult only activity advertised if that is how the crew is going to gear it to also.
Excellent staff Captain and mate were great to meet they explained the trip well made everything smooth sailing. Peanut island was beautiful great snorkeling love the experience
Captain Scott and deckhand Mike were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our trip. We quickly boarded the boat and headed to the island, where we had a wonderful time snorkeling and swimming. We decided to bring our own snorkeling gear, even though the tour did have some for us to use. Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this trip.
Nice and relaxing 3 hours on this tour. A quick 10 min boat ride to the island and plenty of time to enjoy the water, hang out on the sandbar or walk the island path around the island. The only thing that I would suggest is that there definitely weren’t enough floats for everyone on the trip-maybe 10-15 floats for about 36-40 people.
Amazing time with awesome tour guides. Well worth the experience!
Great fun! Saw tons of fish snorkeling!
Great Island Great experience The Captain was great helpful pollute and made me and my family at home
This was such an amazing experience! My kids loved it as did I. The water was beautiful. We went snorkeling and saw so many fish.
Very friendly crew and fun, but short adventure. The tour - start to finish- is just 3 hours. Also, it is BYOB but as long as you know that that’s no issue at all. I would recommend packing a cooler and then enjoying the sunshine!
Book it! Captain Scott and First Mate Mike are a great team and can easily anticipate the needs of the passengers. Such a great way to visit Peanut Island!
It was fun; however, paid a lot for what was basically a ferry ride to the island.
Great time. We are a little older, so an extra step would have been nice to get off and on the back of the boat at the sand bar. Was fun to watch grandkids enjoying snorkeling and trying the paddle boards.
Great trip. If you can plan your trip to not go on the weekend your trip would be more enjoyable. We went on Sunday and the water was packed!!!! I heard the week is way less crowded. We paddle boarded and had a great time. Very enjoyable.
It was very fun and relaxing. Would definetly do it again. Captain and mate were kind and the island was fun to swim around in.
Pure! Very bad ! Very Nice team but a fast trip to parking the boat in the horrible place full of boats next to the "boat traffic highway" on a place where all the deep sea are died and the water full off oil from the boat engines! Better use the cheap regular transfer boat to the isle and faund a place on the sand near to amazing snorkeling place with a lot of life , fish, plants, coral and a good sand beach. HORRIBLE! VERY NICE STAFF!
4 of us did a friends peanut island day!! We came with a lot of stuff.. floats, floating cooler. This was their first time to peanut island, I’m a regular. It was one my best experiences. Boat was great. It was a full boat with a batchelorette party and a large family and we all got along great!! We left on time and the boat supplies water, floaties and paddle boards. The crew including mike helped us aboard and helped us load our stuff into the water. They were fun and accommodating. We will definitely be doing it again.
had so much fun, perfect day to be on the water. the boat was nice and the crew was great. definitely will be booking again in the future
We were misled by the tour providers' description. It states: "This is a BYOB experience for guests 21 and over." To our surprise, we were surrounded by 12 children, including infants, with their families to celebrate their kid, Parker's, 5th birthday. The kids were running around the boat during docking, screaming, fighting and crying at times, parents yelling, kids blocking the ladder. We wanted a relaxing afternoon and this was anything but. The crew was fine, the experience would have been fine, if not for the commotion. It just was NOT as advertised, so buyer beware. Very disappointing.
Thanks for a great time on the water Monday 6/8. The staff on board did an excellent job and were very helpful with any questions that we had. It was the perfect amount of time to anchor at Peanut Island, the weather and water was excellent. We'll surely do it again when on vacation here.
Fantastic day at Peanut Island, hanging out on the amazing catamaran with all the beach toys you could ask for! Great music and fantastic crew.
Young and old all enjoyed this. We would definitely do this again.
We had out son's 12th birthday on Keylypso. We did a private charter with 10 boys and my husband and I. From the beginning to end everything was FABULOUS!! Shaun and Nicole were wonderful. They got us a great spot by peanut island near a really good reef for snorkeling. Then the boys got to play on paddle boards and Nicole was a great host. 1000000% recommend going on one of their cruises!!!
The captain Sean and his first mate Alex were fantastic! The water toys offered were great. Snorkeling was better than anticipated. All in all this trip highly exceeded our expectations.
We enjoyed the boat ride over and the water toys during our Peanut Island Stay. It was Memorial Day weekend, and our tour guides made sure to place us away from the other boats and crowded beaches. The water is beautiful and the excursion was relaxing. The crew was friendly and helpful. They were great with the smaller children also on board. The flavored waters and other drinks on board were plentiful and cold.
The boat brings you to shallow murky water. The snorkeling is on the other side of the island, which we never found because it was too far away to walk it.
5 STARS! Though skies were cloudy to start, we trusted Captain Sean and First Mate Nicole’s experience as we headed out towards Peanut Island. The skies cleared and we spent several hours snorkeling, paddle boarding, and walking the island. We left at noon and were back at 3p. Just the right amount of time so we could make it to our afternoon happy hour. Sean and Nicole were clearly skilled but also upbeat, friendly, and considerate! Thanks to them, we had a fantastic time! This is not to be missed!
The crew was fantastic. I had the best time.
My friends and I had a great time. The crew was friendly as well as the other guests. The trip to Peanut Island is quick, but we floated and drank pretty much the whole time there. The only reason for 4 stars is that floats are advertised and there were only paddle boards. We were told the air pump was broken, but honestly a few pre-inflated tubes would have gone a long way. Expectation vs. reality.
We had the best time on our excursion to Peanut Island on the Keylypso! Captain Greg and 1st Mate Mike were great, from handing us drinks and floats from the boat to steadying the paddle board to attempt getting up. A quick 15 minute boat ride there and back gave us more than 2 hours to relax on a small beach, float and paddle board in the water, walk the pathway around the island. Highly recommend!
Absolutely loved this trip. Highlight of the trip was walking over to the reefs/snorkeling area. Our 7 year old has a new hobby! Tropical fish everywhere! We also saw a manatee on the boat ride back. Guides were friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. Worth the extra money to take the private trip vs the public ferry - you almost feel like one of the “rich people” 😂
This was a great little excursion. There was less than 15 guests but the boat had room for a few more. It was a great chance for me to try paddleboarding for the first time. My boys (5 and 8) loved getting to go swimming from a boat. We had time to take a walk around the island and see the landmarks. My boys loved spotting all the lizards.
Our excursion with Greg and Alex was amazing! They were very personal and friendly. We tried paddle boarding, Greg provided a floating raft for us to relax in. They were knowledgeable of the area and amenities. Played great music. Would definitely recommend them to all. 5 out of 5!
We had a wonderful experience! Definitely book the trip! Sun and fun. Enjoy Peanut Island the right way.
Very fun way to spend the day! The captains were super kind and helpful. Paddleboards available for use. The majority of our group was families. The boat trip to the island was only 10 or so minutes.
Me and my daughter had a wonderful experience . Activity leaders were very friendly and easy going. Despite the fact that the weather was not the greatest ( gusty wind, felt 10 degrees cooler than actual temp ) we still enjoyed our time. Family friendly, they had snorkeling gear, paddle boards , water toys AND snacks + drinks. I usually bring snacks along but this time I completely forgot ! 3 hours with kids and no snacks , would’ve been a disaster. Definitely grateful for that. Bring sunblock ( even on cloudy days) , long sleeve top (esp if it’s cloudy and windy) and sunglasses!
