Parasailing Adventure On Fort Myers Beach (400 Foot Flight)

Overall, the staff was friendly, organized, and gave clear safety instructions, but the experience didn’t feel like a good value for the cost. The booking stated the excursion would last about an hour, but it didn’t mention that the actual parasailing time was only about 5 minutes per group. We checked in, had to wade through chest-deep water to board a shuttle boat, then transfer to the parasail boat in fairly rough conditions. We were back at check-in by 11:45. We also purchased the photo package, but many of the pictures came out blurry. The parasailing itself was fun, but I wish the listing had been more transparent about the actual time spent in the air so we could have made a more informed decision.

Everyone was so so nice! It was so much fun, everything seemed not worn down or anything either! Was very very fun!

Beware of Parasailing Cheats at Pantai Chenang Langkawi. A lady decked in gold bracelets on the Pantai Chenang beach promised me a 10 minute parasailing experience and collected money for that but eventually the trip was less than 5 minutes. The crew was great to work with, they were knowledgeable about what to do, and the photos we got were decent.

The actual experience of the ride on the parasail was very enjoyable with the 400 foot views. There were also clear instructions on how my wife & I were harnessed and were to land back on the boat. The issue was the transfer back to the shore on the shuttle boat, where we were instructed to take our life jackets off prior to the boat becoming stable. I fell back on the interior structure of the boat due to a wave and injured my back. No apologies and even acknowledgement was made which shows lack of training of the staff. We would recommend keeping the lifejackets on until you are off the boat as protection from the steel structure of the boat should a wave knock you down.

Great experience, the staff was also great I gave it 3stars because of the picture quality. Was expecting clear pics. Most of my pictures you can’t even see our faces clearly . Other than that everything was great.

Espectacular and relaxing. I really enjoyed. It was my first experience and I enjoyed being in the air many meters above the sea. You have to live this experience. And don't forget to take photos.

100$ a person for less than 15 minute ride, no safety de-briefing, not offered a photo package or anything. dudes on the boat were not personable and only spoke to us at the end when they wanted a tip lol. Go somewhere else

Really enjoyed parasailing for the first time! Daniella at checkin was super sweet, Trevor was informative and very much appreciated, and the captain and crew on board added so tons of fun and humor! The actual parasailing was an awesome way to see the sights! Great experience and I would definitely recommend it!

Our original excursion was canceled due to the weather. I was so glad they were concerned for everyone’s safety. The next day we scheduled at the last moment, and they were willing to stay late so we could get there. Everyone was friendly and direct about their instructions. They made our “little” feel safe and confident. The ride was amazing and the view was beautiful. We can’t wait to go again and go for a longer more experienced ride!

Due to heavy wind my trip was canceled (so far annoying but no one is to blame for that). Now we come to the reason for my negative rating: The provider did not inform me about the cancellation. It was the guy operating the booth next to this one after my a arrival a few minutes early as requested. When my trip was scheduled a truck was moving away the whole booth of this provider (that’s not a thing you don’t know in advance, at least an hour or so). I texted them twice via the viator app now and got no response. Didn’t get my money back either so far.

We had to wait an extra hour to actually get out then and hour afterwards to wait for our photos when they were already supposed to give it to us. We had a whole day planned and had to cancel because of this one booking.

Well run operation with friendly staff. We appreciated there there was only one other group on the boat, as there wasn't too much sitting-and-waiting. We loaded on from a small boat that came near shore and quickly made our way out to the main boat. The ride was fun, safe, and peaceful. My 9-yo son, my sister, and I went and had a blast. The water was too dark and murky to see any wildlife but it was fun seeing the shoreline. We had to walk into the water to get to the boat so bring only a small dry bag.

The fog lifted in time and our flight was exciting! We didn’t see any ocean animals while in flight but it was still fantastic ! We recd our pics but unable to view yet as they are on disc!

It’s was terrible experience form me. I paid 120 dollars for 10 minutes ride that not fair . The men at the reception he said we are going at least for 45 minutes . Because the bad weather we did it for 10 minutes . They should cancel it but they prefer to paid for it .

Would definitely do again! Great set up to have another boat, loading and unloading and setting up gear and then jet out to the boat that does the flights. Everyone was friendly and efficient.

We had a bit of a problem finding the place. The workers there were very understanding and helpful. The parasailing was wonderful, The only thing was they didn’t tell us about the pictures so we didn’t get any pictures.

This was my daughter’s first time parasailing. She was psyched and had a blast. The first day we were scheduled to parasail was too windy to go up. They made rescheduling a breeze. Very enjoyable experience overall. Staff were very friendly and personable. We will definitely do this again when we return.

We had an amazing time. We went 400ft. It was our first time. Didn't get wet, but the next people who went asked to get wet and they sure did.

My husband and teenage son are the ones who did the actual parasailing but I set it up and checked them in. The people working acted like we were bothering them. I would think people hired would be more engaging and enthusiastic? Not bored with their job? You’re taking people parasailing! For some that may be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Kind of disappointing. The main guy we asked questions to was not friendly and the man driving the boat too was not real talkative either apparently. The experience would have been 10x better with a smile!

This was our first time Parasailing and it was amazing. I'm scared of heights but when I was up there it wasn't scary!! We saw turtles and a shark! A definite thing to do with the family or partner!

The experience was fun! The boat captain was great! HOWEVER, the communication between viator and the parasailing company is terrible. Way overpriced through viator better off buying it at the beach. BUUUUT beware either Viator(TripAdvisor) or Emily the girl at the booth(who had to hold onto my credit card while on the boat) stole our credit card and made $1500 worth of purchases. Nordstrom rack and carbon4cobalt company. Suspicious! Cc company made it right but I recommend using cash. Again the ride was great.

Customer service was amazing. The booth forgot to communicate we wanted the picture package , so they took us back up for another ride so we could get our pictures.

My husband and I have vacationed for years in Fort Myers Beach and have gone parasailing many times over the years with Rinalli; however, this time was completely different. I emailed them afterwards to express our disappointment and have yet to hear from them. We took the last parasail of the day. We were taken on a smaller boat to the boat that the parasailing is done. In the past, we enjoyed getting on the boat and getting the boat ride and experience while everyone took there turns going parasailing. We were rushed out transferred onto the boat and immediately went parasailing. We paid for the longest ride with two dips. We do not feel that the ride was as long as it was supposed to be and we purchased the pictures which were blurry and we were cut off in most of them or the parasail wasn't in the picture. There aren't pictures of us taking off either. We had gone parasailing earlier in the week off of Captiva and had a very long time in the air parasailing and our pictures were perfect. We enjoyed being on the boat while everyone else too there turns. This experience was completely different than with Rinalli. I am terribly disappointed in not receiving a response back as it has been two weeks since we contacted them. The original owner has retired and his kids have taken the business over. They had expressed that they transfer you out to the boat to keep the parasail in the air and get the most riders in a day.

The staff and crew were very attentive to safety and fun! We highly recommend this as a couples or group outing!! This would also be great for a single person adventure,, it's zen and exciting at once.
