Panama City Scuba Diving Activity For Beginners

Malin was such an amazing instructor. He ensured we felt safe and comfortable throughout the experience. He took time with us and we really liked this experience. Anyone looking for a once in lifetime experience should experience this with their family or just by themselves. Such a beautiful experience. I am glad that I found this activity and that too at this good price range. The gear he provides is easy out out on and relatively new. Malin provided an exceptional experience. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

We had a wonderful time learning how to scuba dive and exploring underwater. Our guide/teacher was so helpful, kind, and encouraging. I got nervous trying to breathe under water and was ready to back out and let the others go on without me. He gently encouraged me to try again and coached me through some calm, slow breathing without pressuring me at all. His patient and understanding demeanor helped me a lot. In the end, I was able to do the dive and see some beautiful sea life including a small ray and so many colorful fish. My 14 year old daughter was with me, and she enjoyed this adventure thoroughly. I highly recommend this experience, even if you’re new to scuba and a little unsure. It was wonderful!

He was the best would 100% recommend over anyone else! See you next year.

The dive instructor was so nice to us. My granddaughter didn’t weigh enough to carry a tank and the jelly fish flag was up so we had to cancel this time. Will definitely be back and hopefully have the same instructor. I use to dive so wanted my kids and grandkids to experience it and love it like I do!!!! Thank you’ll again!

We did two tours, which were beginner and advance scuba diving. He is super informative and catered to my shell addiction while diving. He’s fun to scuba with. Will definitely do it again and highly recommend.

This is not a beginner friendly activity. It did not have a beginner friendly instructor. Ruined any chance of doing on the future.

Excellent for beginner divers! I have had diving experience previously, so Antoaneta extended our dive based on oxygen to explore deeper. Perfectly suited for any diving skill level!

Wife was very nervous but instructor was calm and patient throughout the experience. Therefore allowed her to get to enjoy the time and make it to the end. Thanks! Always wanted to try this out and glad we did! We would do it again! Wish it could had been longer but overall great.

Great instructor. All equipment needed provided. Overall the lesson was great for beginners.

States it’s a 2 hour experience, showed up to find out he booked 7 people on the same time slot and only had equipment for 5 people, we showed up, “trained” he took the group of 5 out first come back and gave us two of their tanks and took us, was supposed to be from 10 o clock till 12 o clock, we were done with everything and back in the car by 1130. We only got to dive for approximately 20 mins as did the other group. Definitely was not worth our money or time. Don’t get me wrong, the experience was cool but felt more like a scam than a 2 hour experience.

The instructor was rude and not thorough, very rushed. Very little time in the water and went so fast that we had trouble keeping up, and couldn't look around. Part of the pictures he gave us were from a different dive.

MALIN IS WONDERFUL AND PATIENT!

It was 4 of us, and we didn’t even go because the instructor was immediately rude to us. The instructor has an accent I can’t even understand, and he was being rude to my dad for not speaking English when my dad understands it. I wouldn’t recommend, don’t waste your money! We spent the money to have a good time but it was quite the opposite of good.

Great experience only negative was the water was a little murky. The instructor was great very knowledgeable.

I was very pleased with the experience, this was my first time ever scuba diving and same with the friend that I brought along and the water was murky but still visible to a degree and it was due to the tropical storm but stuff happens but even so it was awesome and I would greatly recommend this experience, I will be coming back when I find myself in Florida again.

I had one of my best experiences scuba diving with mr Malin, he was so thorough on his instruction and guidance and made it so fun and interesting, the divesitr is beautiful and full of life, i have no complaints, really a great experience i 100% recomend

Have done this a couple times. Took my 14yr granddaughter this time. Was her first time scuba diving. Loved it.

Marlin was great! Patient and thorough in his instructions! My granddaughter and I have never done scuba diving before. Now we both agree it would be great to do a discovery dive!

This is the 3rd time I’ve dove with this company. I love it each time and it’s my favorite part of vacation. We took our younger children this time and he was great with them, making sure they understood the safety instructions. Once we were in the water he made sure we all stuck together and got to see amazing things. Can’t wait till next year !!

This trip was great! You only spend about 30-45 minutes actually In the water but it feels like a long time. You get to see a lot of fish and stingrays. It was a great opportunity to learn about scuba diving for the first time. The guide was amazing and super helpful! We would recommend!

We had an absolute blast, this was our first time ever scuba diving and we loved it! I would absolutely recommend for anyone to book with Malin!!

Took my 10 year old son and had a great time. He was nervous but Malin was wonderful and was constantly checking in on everyone. We started with a brief lesson on safety, equipment, and technique on land then made our way down to the cove where we practiced in a few feet of water. Once everyone was comfortable we then went into water ranging from 5-8 feet deep along a jetty and saw crabs, stingrays, and tons of fish. After making our way back to the starting point, Malin downloaded pics he had taken with his GoPro and shared so it was great not having to worry about that and instead just take in the experience. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing time! Neither of us had scuba experience and I can't swim very well but it was very easy to learn with help from our guide. The complimentary pictures and videos turned out great! Highly recommended.

The instructor seemed extremely irritable was impatient and did not create a welcoming or inviting environment that made me feel safe enough to allow my 11 yo granddaughter to proceed with the dive.

This is a great why to try scuba diving. The instructor is good and puts safety first. Breathing through my mouth all the time was my biggest hiccup.

What a great instructor Malin was. He taught us and worked with us to understand the fundamentals and even when one of us couldn’t get the hang of it there was no pressure to do it anyway. We really enjoyed his passion for this and the experience we get to keep for a lifetime. I recommend ebwryone to try this.

Shallow water out to 8–10 sheet deep, so nothing extreme, but plenty of experience with fish, etc. great introduction for somebody thinking about getting certified in Scuba diving. Would be a great help if you know how to snorkel.

Unfortunately didn’t get to the actual scuba diving part my anxiety just was to bad in the practice area, my partner was doing great but didn’t wanna leave me alone by myself. Malin was amazing and understanding. Will definitely be trying again sometime.

We had a great time! We took our 10 year old as his birthday gift since he has been dying to scuba. It was the perfect 1st experience. Malin was helpful and patient. I recommended going earlier in the day than later if possible. There was not a ton of wildlife to see but perfect adventure the amount of time and our skill level! Love that he provided GoPro pics and video and the experience.

From a 54yr old mother of 4 who’s youngest is 13. This was the best beginners scuba diving lesson that I could have imagined. He was patient and willing to go only as far as we were comfortable with. We could stop at anytime if we decided we didn’t want to go any further he gave us all time to adjust to being comfortable and making sure that we were familiar with the equipment. I don’t give review but I had to for this because it was so great!

Really good experience for me for my first attempt at diving. Thorough instructions given and a short practice session in the shallows then on to a full 30+ minutes dive. Great experience.

Absolutely amazing experience! So cool to have my first scuba diving experience on my birthday. I will definitely book with him again. He was kind knowledgeable, patient and informative. The GoPro videos and pictures are a major plus so nice to have the experience captured and not have to worry about it and just enjoy the moment. 10/10!

It was such a nice experience! He was very informative and patient. Great experience. Although I couldn’t participate because I couldn’t get my breathing right my husband went and enjoyed his time!
