Tucked peacefully into the heart of the city, the Winter Park Chain of Lakes is an urban oasis just waiting to be explored. We have two options: our DAY TOURS and our SUNSET TOUR. Explore vast, sparkling lakes lined with historical mansions and quaint canals, known for their old-world charm and lush canopy above. This urban oasis is the perfect paddle adventure that will immerse you in the sights and sounds of the natural side of Winter Park. We often see an array of birds on this adventure, such as anhinga, osprey, bald eagle, red-shouldered hawk, limpkin, and wood duck, just to name a few. It's also possible to see turtles, river otters, an array of fish, marsh rabbits hopping along the manicured lawns, and maybe even an alligator along the way.
This was my first time paddle boarding and it was such a fun experience. The guide was helpful and knowledgeable. I plan to continue booking more tours in the future.
What a great time!! First time paddle boarding and it was just perfect! location turned out to be something out of a painting just unreal, Rachelle explained everything so well that I was standing up and paddling away without any previous experience, plus she knows pretty much all the cool things and stories about the location which made the whole trip very entertaining. 10/10 great time! Enjoyed it so much I kept talking about it all day and already planning to going again!

Had the best paddle board tour at Winter Park. Part of what made it so amazing was the tour guide! Rachelle and her husband are such wonderful people! Very personable, it was a lot of fun talking to them!! We will definitely look them up every time we want some kind of tour!

We were planning on going to the scenic boat tour but noticed that it was pontoon boats with like 16ppl or more per boat and maybe 4+ boats at a time. I wanted something a little more special and also active. So I found otter paddle and booked a guided 2hr sunset paddle board tour from the iconic craft azalea garden for me and my gf. It was sooo much fun. We saw 2 of the local lakes, cypress trees, a canal, multiple wildlife sightings including an anhinga catching a fish and a large barn owl we got maybe 10ft from. The guide was both knowledgeable and very friendly. I will be going back for this tour and probably several others by this company. Id rank this among my top 5 things to do in winter park.

If you are looking for a unique paddle boarding experience don't hesitate to try paddle boarding chain of lakes experience. Beautiful place to paddle boarding while enjoying the scenery of million dollar homes in the process. Our tour guide Celia was amazing and very patient with our group. She took tons of pictures made sure we were comfortable throughout the whole time. O would absolutely do this again and plan to. Be sure to ask for Celia!
