Orlando Starflyer Swing Ride Admission

I had the most amazing experience riding the star flyer today, I was visiting Orlando with my husband and he wouldn’t come on with me, we got chatting to one of the workers and I asked if he would come on with me as my husband didn’t want to, he said I would need to speak to the managers, I spoke to both mangers and they were Amazing but the main manger was an English man from Liverpool he was amazing, and said the worker could ride with me. It was an amazing experience and both the work and manager are a credit to the company I can’t recommend them enough, just a fantastic experience and interaction from start to finish

You save a few dollars by booking with Viator! Never had to wait long for the ride and it is so much fun! Go at night to see all the fireworks from area attractions!

This ride is somewhat scary 😨 but really fun! It felt like soaring over Orlando! I highly recommend this ride for thrill and sensation seekers.

Thrilling experience! The ride is short but very tall and you can see the scenery from the top. StarFlyer is a quick but very exciting ride and should be a priority if you are nearby. Go ahead and hop on!

Would give this place zero stars if I could. And this is my first negative review ever, I feel pushed to make one as it's really annoyed me on our special day. We were first amazed by the look of the swing and wanted to go on it. Today is our anniversary and wanted to celebrate it and start off with something that's brought myself and my partner together, something spontaneous and fun, this checks our box. When purchasing the ticket it says 15 dollars each which we were happy with. Upon using the card terminal which the worker inputed, it came up as 30 dollars 90 cents. I know it isn't much but it's the principle. I then asked what the 90 cents is and he said its tax added on. I paid it and looked over at the sign again and it says tax included in price as you will see in a photo below. I then queried it again and he couldn't give me and answer and this is the start of a bad experience. We got on the swing and it was fun, heads up no waiver is provided or anything to sign and its a long way down if you fall. Anyway, we were also told that we could go on the ride again at 9 dollars each with our wrist band. We were also told it will be 10% off on any drinks we purchase at their bar. Upon ordering drinks we were asked for our ids. My partner is 26 years of age and has a beard , I'm 23 years of age and could pass for 17 so we were expecting it and we were fine with it. We showed our ids just like in every place we have ever been to. Bare in mind I only ordered a Lemonade and he order a beer. She refused our ids because they are from the UK. They are valid in date driving licenses which states name, age has a photo , etc . We have used our ids all over the world and other places in florida and they have accepted them all. They said that we would need to bring our physical passports and says they have a sign for it. Despite showing photos of our passports, credit cards to match names and more, they were not accepting of it at all. So if you're from outta the states be careful as to sum up the company, they will falsely advertise , steal your money and charge you more, they will discriminate against uk ids unless its a passport. There are many other places to drink so go to the others like we did whom don't discriminate at all. Like Uncle Julios, Hampton social, 98 forty tapas tequila, senor frogs and more. Thank you Star flyer for ruining our trip that I waited 9 years to go on and our anniversary. I hope others don't experience the same, go else where .

Nice starflyer, there is a great wiew from the top. I was there daytime but I think it is great to ride at night with all city lights.

Exceptional thrilling height and speed!! It's so fun!! We went on it twice. Once in the rain and once dry. It was a different experience each time.

I didn’t have to wait; the staff helped me to my seat and ensured I was secure. I was in shock up in the sky, but it helped that the view was with all the colorful lights. I recommend going in the dark like I did so you can see all the colorful lights in the area.

If you are not afraid of heights this is a must do!! Highly recommend this ride it’s so pretty at night

Exciting ride with a spectacular aerial view. My friends and I had a blast. Some of us did it a second time to re-live the thrill!!!

It’s a blast and won’t break the bank. Super high and over in a flash – just 5 minutes of pure speed, definitely not for the squeamish. Plus, you score a wristband for a sweet deal on round two the same day or return and do it again at night! Just a stone’s throw from Icon Park, perfect for a post-thrill shop or some food/drink.

I love roller coasters and thrill rides. Finally found someone to try this one with me, and I was disappointed. The height and air in my face were great, but the tight, repetitive circular motion was a little dizzying. I'm glad I did it once, but I won't need to repeat it.

So much fun! This is a thriller that we could not get enough of. After purchasing a ticket you can come back and ride again at a discount rate. There are so many restaurants in walking distance.

Oh my goodness such fun. Sat across the street at Twin Peaks and watched the excitement throughout the day. That's when we decided we had to do it. It's a must do and at night to see it bright with lights is truly beautiful.

Quick and easy. Great discount from regular priced tickets. No issues at the counter to redeem Viator purchase.

The star flyer experience. What can I say! It was exhilarating, scary as the ride goes up and swings pretty fast. Not for the faint hearted !

It was my first time in Orlando, and I went to the Star Flyer Orlando during the holidays. I went to the cashier to purchase my ticket and asked her if she had any coupons for the ride. She was rude and said I have to find it myself. As I was asking this, another customer at the cashier right next to me asked the exact same question for her family. She was directed on where to obtain the coupons, as I was told to find it myself. In my opinion of the experience, I felt belittled and directly discriminated upon. It ultimately ended, even with the involvement of management, in me not being allowed on the ride, much less get a discount. Staff and management customer service is very poor, and it looks like from the last years of reviews they did not correct past customer service issues.

It was a Sunday around midday. No queues, we went straight on. It's a quick ride, but not expensive, so would recommend. A great view and a lot of fun.

Wasn't able to make it last minute, has to cancel, still got charged full price. Feeling like Florida is GREEDY!!!

Saw this when we arrived and tried it out, good value and also had a coupon for a discount. Was quiet and staff were helpful, it's really cool and scary in a good way when you are up there. You have to put phones etc in a complimentary locker but glasses can be worn, I would advise to wear sunglasses as it's quite windy up there.

We needed something to take us out of our comfort zone. This ride did it for me! The adrenaline rush. Ability to ride with my husband was great! Our 2nd Anniversary adventure together.

A little scary for me but my daughter absolutely loved it. Would definitely return and just let her do it again. It was a fun memory of dad screaming helped us bond.

It is was a lot of fun! It goes very high and it has the right amount of thrill to it, but not like a roller coaster which was good.

This is a fun ride but don't recommend it if you are very afraid of heights. It feels like you are a 1000 feet high while spinning around at the top. Great views, though. I didnt notice anyone on this ride over the age of 55 so that should tell you it's terrifying to anyone with a heart condition. They have lots of benches and seating areas around it so you can people-watch and enjoy a snack, like Häagen-Dazs ice cream which has a small store at the base of the ride.

That was fun it was beautiful all lit up him win a couple times getting the opportunity to write for the second time at eight dollars instead of the full price was really wonderful awesome time

We loved it! Me and my husband visited Orlando for my 35th birthday and rode the Starflyer swing.... if you’re visiting Orlando, I highly recommend!!! It’s up high now lol😂😂😂😂.... my husband screamed the whole time with his eyes closed 🤣...

I can tend to get dizzy quite easily but was able to handle this ride without issue. It was a little breezy out which makes the ride even more adventurous. Was a good time.

I went on the Starflyer 2 weeks ago and at first I was a little nervous. They have baskets at the bottom of the ride for you to put everything you have in your pocket in. One you sit down there is a seat belt and a lap bar so I felt pretty secure. It slowing raises you up and you start spinning. It does go pretty fast and its windy at the top but its actually a fun ride. Not really scary at all. I would definitely recommend this.

This was really fun to do and the guy selling the tickets was really funny . The only down side to this was when we first entered I guess we came through the wrong door but this lady kept trying to sell us stuff it was annoying and then after the ride she kept following us again .

I wanted to do something out of the norm for my birthday. This was great. First, each seat is sanitized after each ride. It really was a great feeling. Very peaceful and quiet up there. I did not find it scary, but will suggest do not look at the center when coming down. Watching the wheels turn gave the illusion like you were coming down super fast. But yours not. Cant wait to do it again.

So we are walking around this part of Orlando and I saw this ride and thought looks fun! To my shock several hours later my wife asks if I want to try it? I say sure. It only lasted a few minutes but it was a blast!!

I loved the ride. I'd definitely do it again. I loved the height, the scenery, the music, and the duration. It was well worth the 10 bucks. I also felt 100% safe.

Fun, quick ride....at ride it's $9 a person so they refunded our online purchase that was more...Better check ahead in that though. Something different, not for those who are afraid of heights obviously.

I don't go on roller coaster or any rides as I'm too scared but I tried the Starflyer and I ended up riding it 5 times. It's absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it. It's not scary at all. You get great views and a blast of fresh air. The staff were all amazing. The overall area is a great place. I can't wait to get back to Orlando to ride the Starflyer again. Ps it's far better at night as Orlando looks lovely all lit up

Very long wait but it was worth it. We went at night, and the view was amazing. We bought our tickets online, but apparently the website isn't updated with the current price.

The group I was with really wanted to do this and despite my nerves, talked me into it. The staff was so incredibly comforting and encouraging. The seats were comfortable and we felt secured and safe. The length of time was nice and didn’t feel too short. After riding it once, we had so much fun we decided to pay a discounted price and ride again. We rode it at night, so seeing the Orlando city lit up under the stars were perfection. Will definitely be going back to see what it’s like during the day.

We went on the Starflyer last week and absolutely loved it! Amazing experience worth every penny. The staff are all really friendly and helpful, especially Trent. The views from the top are amazing too. One of the most reasonably priced bars in the area as well, they even had pink gin! Will 100% return and ride it again when we next visit Orlando, I would recommend this to anyone.

Seen this attraction for a few years, so finally plucked up the courage and flew. A great experiencing, very friendly staff with an amazing ride to the sky. It was a windy day when I visited but felt safe and really enjoyed my arial view of the Orlando area. Enjoyed a discounted beer afterwards which rounded off a great visit. I must say the price was cheap by Orlando standards, with excellent value for money. If you take heights and the circular motion, DON'T miss it!!

Spectacular! Completely insane, but so SAFE. Moderate/strong winds twisted the chair as I went around, adding an extra level of 'fun'. STAFF WERE FANTASTIC - my 12yo son was anxious and unceratin about doing the ride, and the young guy at the desk was EMPATHETIC, RESPECTFUL and not forceful. He chose not to ride.

I visited the attraction on 6-1-2020, The woman manager was disrespectful and rude to me and my family, the place has some coupons that offer 2 dollars off, I take the coupon and wanted 3 tickets, the coupon says nothing of one per person or group, the cashier discounted 2 dollars for the 3 tickets, when I tell her she tells me that it is one coupon per person (although the coupon does not say it) I say ok I have more coupons in the car leave and I bring (my mother and brother stayed at the register) when I return I listen to the manager commenting aloud to the cashier that if we believed that it was Walmart to go back paying for coupons with a bad attitude and looking at us in a bad way (I think He thought we did not understand English), a very humiliating and rude attitude for the client, when I went straight ahead to look for the coupons, I said thank you very much leave it so I do not want any discount, I ruin the experience since I felt belittled ado and humiliated in front of my family and other clients, very bad treatment of tourists and customers, do not distribute coupons to humiliate people in that way, much less in a tourist area and with such a rude and rude staff, hire staff that Know how to treat the customer and not humiliate him for a few coupons even if they are only 4 dollars

My wife and myself did this ride twice in one day. The first ride was in the day which was amazing it gave us such a buzz we then did it at sunset which gave us stunning views. I would definitely recommend doing it twice and you get a $6 discount on the second ride.

This ride does not look like much from the ground, but once you get up at the top, it's spectacular. The views are fantastic! We rode this at night, seeing all the lights at night was awesome! Definitely recommend!! If you don't like heights, I wouldn't ride.

When you stand from afar off and watch it go up it doesn't look very scary but once you get in and it rises and then slants to the side to swing you out it is a totally different ball game. However, once you start to focus on the view your fear will dissipate. It is a must try even for the faint at heart. The ride isn't very long.

The ride was amazing! Super affordable. I paid online and got the best value that way. It was around $11. I have always loved the swings at the fair! This is swings on swole :) The view is super cool. We went at sunset and the sky was beautiful!! You can ride a 2nd time for around $8. The ride goes quick so you feel like you want to do it again. I will definitely be back with a different friend to ride!!

This was the first thing we did on our recent trip to Orlando. We came back and did it again on our last day. We loved it - amazing ride and great views!! Probably not for people who aren't good with heights tho. You get a wrist band so you can go on again the same day at a reduced price. Highly recommended!!
