Excellent tour. Our guide Ariel was friendly and knowledgeable..can't remember the name of the lady rolling the cigar, but she was awesome !! ..Highly recommended
Ariel was so informative and friendly. There is so much food so be prepared to eat! Highly recommend Ariel for your tour!
Maria’s tour was awesome! It was a walking history lesson interspersed with personal stories about coming to the US. She knew all the store owners and vendors personally, each of whom had a different and amazing story. We walked away with such a great appreciation for what the Cubans went through and left behind to be able to live and prosper here. And how they have been able to maintain the Cuban culture so many decades later was heartwarming. The food was fine, but definitely secondary to the whole experience!
I would recommend this tour that I booked through Get your guide very highly. Our tour guide, Maria, was very well informed and had personal connections with Cuba. She took the time to give us a lot of historical facts about Cuba by citing her own extended family experiences. My husband and I were the only people on this tour but despite that they didn’t cancel the tour and as a bonus we got special undivided attention from our tour guide. The Cuban food she had us taste was excellent.
Maria was a very knowledgeable tour guide. She has a very interesting inside scoop of everything Cuban. Enjoyed the food and drinks at various Cuban restaurants! Go hungry, as the tour includes plenty of food!
It was an awesome experience! We really learned a lot about the history and culture of Little Havana. The guide is very informative and the food stops were great!
We journeyed through Little Havana with Maria today, and what a wonderful experience it was! Maria has a wealth of knowledge and brought the history of the area to life by sharing her own personal experiences and insights. Each stop was thoughtfully chosen and offered fascinating history and background that anyone can appreciate. And the food was fantastic! Come hungry! There was plenty to enjoy, and it made the experience even better. Highly recommend this tour and Maria for anyone looking to experience the history, culture, and flavors of Little Havana with someone who truly knows and loves the area.
We spent this afternoon touring with Maria. We've been on many tours all around the world, and Maria is one of the best guides we've had. Not only was she well organized and prepared for the tour, but she contributed many personal stories and shared her family history -- she has a personal connection to the history and former leaders of Cuba! The food on the tour was all really good - everybody left full! Definitely come hungry for this tour. We opted to add one VIP drink package and all three beverages were very good - a nice value if you want to add it. Our group had 6 and it was a nice size. Maria does use a mic and speaker which helped us hear in some of the louder locations. In addition to the tasty food, we learned a lot about the history of Cuba and immigration to the United States.
The place of little Havana is cool. The places that we were taken were not that interesting and our guide didn’t explain us much on the places. The food that we got was also very minimal and we had to pay for drinks.
The food was amazing! Maria provided use with great information about Little Havana. The food was so plentiful that I took food back to my hotel.
We happened to be doing the tour on a slow night so It was just the 2 of us plus the guide. The Guide was good but we missed out on a group social experience, and the tour lasted just under 2 hours vs the expected time frame. Overall it’s a good lay of the land and tasting. But also feels a little commercialized to sell some products. No pressure just obvious.
Oh my god there was so much food!!! All delicious!!! I was so full! The cultural tour was awesome! My favorite were the empanadas, croquet and guava pastries!
It was a great tour especially Maria the tour guide was very informative and love the testing of the delicacy on our trip. Would definitely recommend.
The guide was very knowledgeable and well spoken. We learned a lot on this tour and recommend it for all.
Very easy going. Interesting cultural experience to understand the food and the people of Cuba. Thank you
The tour with Maria was awesome. She was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Upgrade to getting the drinks
Absolutely wonderful. Maria was awesome! She was quite knowledgeable and friendly. The food was tasty. I would do this tour again!
If you want an authentic, deeply engaging, and fun dive into the heart of Little Havana, this is the tour to take. Our guide, Maria, was an absolute superstar—incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about the neighborhood's rich history and culture. From sipping the best traditional Cuban coffee (cafecito) and biting into warm, flaky guava pastries, to watching expert cigar rollers at work and soaking in the lively atmosphere at Domino Park, every single stop felt special. Maria didn't just share facts; she shared stories that brought the community to life and made everyone in the group feel like family.
Excellent tour! Informative and hit all the major spots. Much better than aimlessly wandering and missing what the area had to offer. So glad we took it.
Our guide was incredible and area was super fun to explore. I really enjoyed all of the food we tried and felt like I got a good taste of the local history as well.
Very informative and guide, Maria, was extremely well versed in the culture and history. Food was great and just all round a good vibe. I had high hopes as it was the only day we had for something fun, and it exceeded my expectations entirely. Cannot rate this high enough.
We had a great time learning about the history of little Havana. The food tasting was great and Ariel the tour guide was wonderful.! He was so informative and friendly I would highly recommend this tour
Alan was an excellent tour guide - very knowledgeable and entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour
Maria was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Her personal stories enhanced the experience.
What a lovely experience. Ariel was so sweet and informative. I could ask him anything and he knew the answer. Some parts of the tour did make me sad learning about the history of the women fighting for their rights and freedom in Cuba as well as learning about the Pedro pan kids. It was fascinating to know that the families run those shops on the strip till this day. Oh what a dream can do! The food was fantastic! Come hungry. Thank you Ariel. I left with a little more knowledge about people and a culture other than mine.
Great food tour! The food was delicious and the history was amazing. Our tourguide was very helpful.
Great mix of history and food and drinks and fun. Ariel was a wonderful and very knowledgeable guide that allowed us to ask questions and took time at each of our spots. Food is fantastic!!! Nothing disappointing and they were even great at substituting a chicken sandwich for my husband who cannot eat the Cuban sandwich due to ham.
Show up hungry. You won’t be after the tour. Take a bottle of water with you. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour is small and informative
Maria was great!! Would recommend! Learned lots about the culture. Also got to indulge in lots of delicious foods and drinks.
Orlando was a wonderful guide! Very informative and fun! Loved the food!
Great tour! Very informative with wonderful food and drinks. Highly recommend.
2nd time on this tour and it’s worth it. Eat good, good drinks and learn lots of history! Little Havana is a must do when in Miami!
If you want a very basic knowledge of the Cuban Miami food than this is the tour for you. I’d skip the alcoholic drinks though.
Ariel was out super cool guide 😎. What an AWESOME walking tour through Little Havana! 🇨🇺✨ We started at El Cristo with a delicious carne molida empanada, learned how “Cohiba” comes from the native Taíno word “cojoba” connected to tobacco, and stopped at the iconic Piñatuelos fruit stand serving Miami since 1962 🍍🥭. We then had pastelitos de guayaba and cream cheese (yum). Along the way we visited the Bay of Pigs memorial at Memorial Park, watched the legendary players at Domino Park (where you must be a Miami-Dade resident and 55+ to play!), and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of Old’s Havana. Fun fact: the Cuban sandwich was actually born in Tampa — because mustard and pickles weren’t traditional in Cuba! Of course, we also had to try Cuban croquetas and finish with handcrafted cigars from Clandestino… OF COURSE: I had a Tatiana Rum flavored cigar 😉. Such an unforgettable mix of history, culture, food, and Cuban pride ❤️
I enjoyed myself. Definitely a great experience and very informative. I learned a lot. I promise you won’t regret it. Host was very welcoming and engaged every step of the way. Looking forward to another one.
Back from a great tour of Little Havana. Our tour guide Maria was very informative and made the whole experience personable. Would highly recommend

Experienced guide, good food and drinks. Had the cuban sandwich. Omg it is exellent! Highly recomend doing this tour. 10/10.
Great tour. Guide Ariel was fun and informative. Loved the good, history, cocktails… everything. I recommend!
Great experience-Ariel was so fun and knowledgeable about the area. The guava pastelitos were delicious and the culture was rich!
Maria was outstanding and we have taken over 30 food tours in the US as well as Amsterdam, Rome, Florence, Madrid and the UK. We met at a great local restaurant and bar and started with a beer. We then feasted on a warm Empanada while we learned the history of the place . Maria took us to several other locations with Ball and Chain being one of the highlights. Her passion for the job as well as expertise and a family connection was well evident. The bakery had one of the best guava pastries I have ever had (and we use Versailles as a benchmark) Our friends from England we amazed to learn the history of Jose Marti, The Bay of Pigs and other Calle Ocho ties. I highly recommend asking for Maria if you can. You will not be disappointed!
Great tour! Great guide! Extremely informative and knowledgeable! The food was great! I would definitely recommend this tour!
Please Wear good shoes and arrive ready to eat. We had a great time and learned a lot from our guide.
Ariel was the best guide we've ever had! He was funny, interactive, knowledgeable and personable. All of the stops were fun to see and the food was amazing.
Maria was our guide and was amazing! She knew so much about the culture and history that made the tour very enjoyable.
Friendly tour guide. Super knowledgeable about Cuban culture. Delicious food and Mojitos! Don’t miss the beef empanadas!
Our guide is passionate about her culture. We got to try lots of really good food. Wish the tour had less people (we were a group of 16). Some parts of the tour felt rushed.
