Miami Small Group Boat Tour: History, Wildlife, And Stiltsville

Excellent two hours spent on the water with Captain Louis who was very knowledgable about the Miami waterway and area and provided us with a history of how Miami came to be and the islands built. The tour did have to be changed due to the weather and fortunately we could accommodate a different date. We wholly recommend this tour.

Our Guide was wonderful, funny but not annoying. Knowledgeable to the right degree, drove fast and safe, but took his time when needed. We felt very comfortable, enjoyed the total time we were on the boat and would do it again! Make sure to wear proper clothing so you don't get burnt and can fully focus on your tour:)

We took a private tour out to Raccoon Island with Captain Louis and my family of 4. We had an amazing time out on the island, but just as much of an awesome time on the way to and from the island as well. Captain Louis pointed out landmark areas and wildlife as we approached it as well, and he kept us entertained. He was very prompt with pickup and gave us adequate time to explore the island, along with tips about which spots are best the find the raccoons. He was spot on about the raccoons, as we found them and got to spend the majority of our time on the island with them. At the end-ish of the tour he has a few minutes to spare and even offered to take us a little bit further out to see the Cruise ships docked, which thrilled my kids. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Captain Louis was fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and so much fun. He made the entire adventure even better and clearly knows the island and its raccoon residents so well. We saw **so many raccoons** and got to experience them up close in such a unique way. They came right up to us, brought their babies us around, and even drank water from the water we brought for them! We explored the island and got to watch these amazing animals up close in their natural environment. It was truly remarkable. This was so much more than just a boat trip — it was such a fun, unique adventure and an experience we’ll be talking about for years to come. If you're considering visiting Raccoon Island, **DO IT!** And if you can, request Captain Louis. He was absolutely wonderful! **Highly, highly recommend! 🦝🌴❤️**

Our speed boat trip to Stiltsville and Key Biscayne was wonderful! It started off with a brief spot shower but then the sun came out for the far majority of our trip. Collin, our captain, was great! He was friendly, smile-y, knowledgeable. We started off at Starr Island and then Fisher Island. He told stories of the rich and famous and pointed out their homes. Then we enjoyed a speedy trip to Stiltsville where we learned the history of the homes there and the unfortunate dwindle down to 6 homes. We enjoyed the scenery and beauty of Key Biscayne. We highly recommend this fun tour!

This was a wonderful experience. Our captain Collin did a great job explaining and identifying celebrity houses, Stiltsville, downtown Miami and the various spots. We saw many great sights in only a short 2 hours. Lots of fun!

I was searching for a company which provides boat trips to Stiltsville, and I found the perfect match. I had the pleasure to join captain Kim and two other guests for a trip around Miami including Stiltsville. I did a very touristic sunset cruise in a bigger boat, nothing to what captain Kim offered us. She is very knowledgeable and knows answers to all questions. The company Ocean Force Adventures is very responsive, quick in responding via SMS and very professional. For those who want to see the invader placed at one of the Stiltsville houses - this is the best address for such a trip. Thank you!

Great boat trip with Captain Colin with a small group (only 4 of us on this trip). Colin has vast experience and knowledge of the bays around Miami which he shared with us and he was very engaging and friendly throughout. The trip took in the history of the area, celebrity and interesting houses, Fisher Island and Key Biscayne as well as downtown Miami. We travelled at speed out to Stiltsville which was fabulous to see. A great experience and we were also fortunate to see a dolphin close to the boat. Highly recommended

Small Boat Tour - Raccoon Island My wife was a little unsure about the kayak option, so I reached out to Ocean Force and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They suggested the small group boat tour instead — and it turned out to be perfect. We even got lucky as the only passengers booked that morning, so we ended up with our own private trip! The ride out from the marina took about 30 minutes, and our captain kept it really interesting, pointing out the stunning waterfront mansions and sharing fun stories about Miami and the islands along the way. Once we arrived at Raccoon Island, we found ourselves completely alone — just us, the sunshine, and the raccoons! We brought along some watermelon, and within minutes around ten curious raccoons appeared, all scrambling for a slice. It was such a fun, unique moment — just be ready for a little excitement when they first spot the food! We spent about an hour exploring the island before a smooth, scenic ride back to the marina. The whole experience felt special and personal from start to finish. I’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Miami — it’s one of those once-in-a-lifetime memories.

Absolutely loved and recommend this co and tour. We saw dolphans and manatees swimming all around us. Our tour guide, Lewis was awesome. He gave us plenty of time to stop and get pictures of so many things. He was very informative. We got to see the raccoons, who were super friendly. I know they do not want you to feed them but if you want to sneak them something please take them fruit. They love fruit and it's good for them... We had such a good time.

This boat tour to Sandspur Island was an absolute blast! The ride through Biscayne Bay was smooth and scenic. Captain Kim shared details about the homes we passed and some fun historical facts. Once we arrived at the island, we had to look around a bit for the raccoons, but we had been prepped by our captain on what to expect and the best ways to attract the raccoons. Within a few minutes, curious raccoons wandered over to greet us — they were friendly, adorable, and clearly used to visitors. We brought snacks (they loved Lays chips!) and even shared water from our bottles — some of them drank straight from it like little beach bandits! It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime, up-close encounter with nature, and we couldn’t stop laughing and snapping photos. OceanForce Adventures are real pros. We knew exactly what to expect on our excursion thanks to the incredible level of detail on their website. Many thanks to Captain Kim for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

Most fun we had on our trip. Excellent guide who was a wealth of information. Way above and beyond a typical tour. Found out where some famous ppl lived, got up close to amazing homes, toured the Miami River restaurant area, learned a lot of the history of the area, and saw a mama and baby dolphin. Highly recommend.

Best personal tour! Kim was Friendly and knowledgeable. Weather was a perfect 10. Kim told us all about the history, and highlights all day.

The views are neat. We saw a few dolphins. Nice to be close to the waters. My main reasons for the 4 stars are that 1) The seats on the boat were uncomfortable to sit for 2 hrs. You sit on the seat like you ride on a horse. If you have back problems, this may be an issue. 2) the tour price is a bit high.

Kim was the best tour guide, chockfull of all the good stories you want to hear—some history, some celebrity info…and she stopped to watch a dolphin pod. Get there early and you may see a manatee or other cool sea life. In 10 minutes, we also saw a lobster, parrot fish, tarpon, and iguana. She talked about the city history and skyscrapers and yachts and amazing mansions and all kinds of fun stuff as we zipped along in a zodiac boat. Stiltsville was very cool, but really just a single part of the whole experience. It was a blast. Just do it!

We were able to book two for the next day and then my husband found out that evening that he could join us. I emailed and it was a simple process to add him. Kim was so informative and the trip was great. The rain kept us from seeing Stiltsville, but Kim made up for it by showing us additional attractions. We saw so many dolphins as well. Great trip and value.

Stiltsville was our focus and we were not disappointed! Captain Colin gave us a great tour on a beautiful, hot day. Only one elusive dolphin on our tour, but I was there to see the weird buildings standing in the ocean, a relic of a former era. Also, we were scheduled to do the tour on the morning that Tropical Storm (soon to be Hurricane) Debby was due to hit Miami. Kim emailed us back and forth to work on rescheduling it for later in our trip so that we didn't have to worry about a cancellation the morning of--and also gave us some other local tips for our trip! Overall a great tour, the boat is easy to ride in and when Colin was going fast, it was a beautiful breezy day in the bay.

A fantastic trip with Captain Colin, whizzing around Miami bay seeing the incredible houses and learning about the history of the area as well. Colin was a great skipper, very knowledgable and answering our many questions. Great fun and the kids loved it.

Our group had a fantastic experience! This is a boutique boat tour and our group of six had the craft to ourselves which added to the pleasure of the cruise . Our captain, Kim Falconer, was very accommodating and knowledgeable of Miami waters surroundings and their history, outgoing and warm and a crafty pilot who maneuvered the boat with obvious confidence. Can't recommend this boat tour and its boat captain enough. Excellent boat tour! Go Kim!

This was a great 2 hour trip!! Me and my wife were taken by Captain Colin all around Miami and Miami Beach. The tour was a great combination of city sights and rows of mansions. Captain Colin gave great history and current knowledge of all the sights. We would recommend this tour. We also recommend Monty's Sunset - Restaurant right next to the dock! Before or after the tour.

I had the chance to take part in the Ultimate small group tour during my short stay in Miami Beach. It was a great occasion to explore some unusual areas of the city. Even though we did not encounter any dolphins, and it was a little bit cloudy, the boat trip was extremely comfortable and interesting thanks to the professional captain who was an amazing storyteller, too. I do recommend this activity if you are into discovering the curiosities of Biscayne Bay. Stiltsville is a must!

12/2723 - We had so much fun on this same tour, two years ago, that we decided to go again! We were so happy to see Captain Colin when we arrived at the pier! He’s the best and our trip around Biscayne Bay was wonderful! We went with another family of four, but there was plenty of room for everyone. It’s just so, so nice to be out on the water in a small boat and not have to strain to hear the highlights and history pieces of the tour. We didn’t spot any ocean creatures, but it was still fun. We’d highly recommend this 2-hour boating excursion with Captain Colin! The 11:45-1:45 time slot was nice. It had warmed up nicely by then, and afterwards, it was so convenient to get lunch at the marina.

Despite the not-so-great weather Captain Collin gave us a great tour of Miami & got us out to see Stiltsville. He was very knowledgeable as well. We even got to see manatee in the harbor for an extra treat! Kim, the owner, was great getting us booked for the tour!

My partner and I wanted to take a tour of Biscayne Bay and had limited time to go. We called Ocean Force Adventures and spoke to one of the owners. She was very friendly and helpful, and got us on a tour that day. We met our boat captain, Captain Collin, at the marina a few minutes early, and he was ready to go. He was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We took off in the Zodiac boat and it was a blast! Captain Collin was a fantastic captain and tour guide. He knew so much about the area and the sites we were seeing. Riding in the Zodiac boat was a blast! I love taking boat tours, but they are usually on a big lumbering boat. This one was fast and nimble, but it felt very stable. We zipped around to different areas including Stiltsville, which I knew nothing about. It turned out to be the highlight of the tour. The history was very interesting, and Captain Collin knew a lot about it, which he shared with us. Even though this boat tour was a little more expensive than a typical boat tour, it was so much more fun that I can't say enough good about it. I want to thank Captain Collin and the owner of Ocean Force Adventures for a one-of-a-kind tour of Biscayne Bay.
