Miami Boat Tour To Raccoon Island And Sandbar (Private 2 Or 4 Hr)

We had a great few hours with capt Isaac. We started off going to raccoon island. We had to swim from the boat to the shore so we’re glad we had packed our waterproof phone holders. We fed lots of raccoons who liked our nuts and dried fruit much more than the fresh fruit. They also wanted fresh water. We did also get bitten by mosquitoes on the island. We then went off for a tour round the bay including billionaires bunker. We saw manatees and dolphins which was awesome. The boat was comfortable but we did get very wet at the front so it’s worth keeping bags further back. There was no toilet on the boat so go before you leave! We had a great trip thank you Isaac.

We had an absolutely fantastic trip with Daniel! From start to finish, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable. Daniel took us out to Raccoon Island and knew exactly where to spot the raccoons, giving us plenty of opportunities to see them up close and take great photos. His knowledge of the area and local wildlife really enhanced the trip, and he was happy to answer any questions along the way. The boat was comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and Daniel made us feel welcome throughout. If you’re looking for a fun and unique experience, I would highly recommend Daniel. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would definitely book again!

Had a great day out with Daniel, we went to raccoon island which was class, then did the snorkeling and chased dolphins around for a while, was a great experience all round with a great host. Fantastic

Daniel went out of his way to make this experience exactly what we wanted it to be! Snorkeling, swimming, petting raccoons, whatever you name, he makes happen! He had a cooler of ice and bottled water ready, he let us connect to Bluetooth and play our own music and he took us to feed the raccoons which was absolutely not a part of the “description.” 10/10 recommend and also very family friendly!

Daniel was absolutely amazing! The boat ride was so enjoyable and the racoons were such a bonus! Very knowledgeable guy and so nice.

Feeding the raccoons was great! Daniel was very nice and informative. He got us some great pictures and a video as well. This will definitely be a great memory of our visit. Thanks Daniel! My only critique is that the boat could be nicer.

We had Daniel as our tour guide. He did an excellent job guiding us all around the nice houses, raccoon island and some great places to swim and snorkel

Absolutely amazing experience, we were a group of 6 and had an absolute blast! It byob and bring your own snacks so we had a great time. There was SO MANy RACOONS!! We did this tour back in April so unfortunately I don’t remember our tour guides name but I will attach a picture of her!! She was great!!

So much fun, seeing the raccoons and feeding them! They are junk food junkies! Bring snacks, bottled water and bug spray. We enjoyed learning about the area. Our Captain Monica was so nice!

We experienced some inclement weather unexpectedly but Captain Monica knew to harbor under the bridge to let the storm pass. Captain Monica also put us right where the raccoons were with her vast knowledge of the island. Overall it was a great trip and would recommend this adventure to anyone. Great memories made thanks to this adventure!!

It was a lot of fun being able to feed the raccoons and being out on the boat with family. Miami is gorgeous along the water front. I was however disappointed that there were not enough snorkels for the amount of people that booked. I have a family of six and only three of the masks were operational. Initially there were four available until we went to use the fourth and found out it was broken. It made the experience a little less thrilling (not everyone could participate together.) The directions for the meeting place were a little confusing as well. Our captain, Monica was great. Really friendly demeanor and was knowledgeable about the area.

We booked the 2 hours racoon island tour but at the moment of tour the capitan told us that it was not longer offer for the 2 hours tour. We didn't know we were very disappointed. We did the bay and celebrities house tour that you can book for much cheaper. Not a good experience!

Loved it! Have been wanting to go there for years! We got there around 10 and immediately had 3 raccoons walk up to us. Then walked around a little bit and more just started popping out of no where. It was so cute.

Set this trip up for my wife and daughters. We all had a fantastic time. Captain Monica was great gave us all the insight and info we needed. Thank you for a great experience.

We had a wonderful time! Our captain showed us the best places to see and feed the raccoons! It was amazing!We could have snorkel and swim on the sandbar but we preferred to relax on the boat , we saw a lot of wonderful houses along the shore. We highly recommend this tour!

We enjoyed our time. The kids loved it. Definitely doing it again in the near future. My suggestion to others if they go to raccoon island do 4 hours because you will be looking for them if the island is full of people.

The ride there was smooth. She showed us the celebrity houses. She told us the raccoons love doritos. So we went to the corner store by the dock and got some. And there was over 20 raccoons. She was so nice, patient and professional. We had alot of fun. Already recommended to family and friends.

We were told majority of the raccoons where recently removed from the island and no one knows what happened to them. The city possibly euthanized part of the population or someone took them. There is less then 10 on the island now and we saw 2 for a brief moment and then they ran away. Sadly, even though our captain was great, the $500 price tag for 2 hours was not worth it for our family.

Stay away from the company. I give a star for the captain as he was brilliant ,very friendly person and opened to others. More people like him would definitely help the company. In general we saw 3 maybe 4 raccoons, one close enough. We didn't mind to pay 400 USD for two hours trip but there is another additional charge of 100 usd which is hidden and its only clear when you get confirmation email. 5 minutes after receiving confirmation email and spotting additional charge I contacted customer service and requested refund which was refused as I was told it's not acceptable as the booking was made with less than 24hrs to go ....refund request was 5 minutes after I received confirmation email. If company insist that there is no refund given if booking made less than 24hrs then they should not allowed to book any trips within 24 hrs. Pure rip off. Stay away.

Very cute to feed the raccoons grapes. They loved the bottled water the most. Like to take the bottle in their hands with your help and drink it all. They do not have fresh water on the island and are in danger of dying of dehydration. The 4 raccoons were saw were well fed. We had to walk through the path to find them. A little scarey due to spider webs all over with banana spiders. Almost walked into a few. Try not to go on a weekend too many people partying on the beach there. Guide was very friendly Nice boat Nice short trip to do something a little different

Our trip was supposed to start at 2:00. It didnt start until 2:30 when the boat came back with previous patrons. We were told there was ice, water and champagne on the boat. The ice in the cooler had garbage in it - champagne corks and metal pieces that hold the cork on. The champagne we were given was warm. As was the water. The operator had trouble starting the boat. The condition of the boat was rundown. Seat seams were coming apart and the ladder - which should have been on the back of the boat, was not there. We had to use the cooler as a step stool for one of our party to get on the boat after we went to the island. I addressed these issues with the owner and the best they would do for me was give me 10% off my next trip with them. Who would go back after that experience? Not me!

A captain makes the experience and Captain Monica made it THE BEST ONE! Seriously, read the other reviews and you'll see all the best ones are about her!! We felt so lucky to ride with her and spent the day laughing and talking and learning from her - she is so knowledgable about all the wildlife and local celebrities and is so quick with the jokes! She showed us all the secret spots that aren't overtaken by crowds of party-goers and was so accommodating about taking us to the best snorkeling and picnicking spots. We had the BEST time on Raccoon Island thanks to her tips and insider information and we are already planning another trip with more friends who are jealous they couldn't make it!! Of course, we will only sail with the one and only Captain Monica - tip her well, she is a national treasure!

Lovely spot and boat to see raccoons and for a swim/snorkle in the sandbar. Our captain was okay, however we felt they were not interested in much chit chat.

Possibly the best 2 hours of our lives. Captain Monica knows each little raccoon personally, and they welcomed her onto their island as a friend. They are the politest, most adorable creatures, we would have stayed on Sandspur island forever if we could have.

Omg this was the best day ever …. Martha was the nicest lady and best host … she was so friendly and knowledgeable. The boat was beautiful and clean and the Prosecco nice too but by far the best bit was the raccoons ….. they knew Martha’s voice when we got there and they all came running … I can not believe just how magical this tour was . I would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of going x

Captain Monica was great. We took a 2-hour tour to the raccoon island, and she knew the best spot that gave us a unique private experience with the island inhabitants. Also, she was friendly and gave us a nice bottle of Prosecco. I strongly recommend going with Captain Monica on this tour.

Awesome little boat ride with a great captain! I met and fed so many raccoons and got to swim! Also we got champagne and played our own music!!
