It was a fun and unique date night! The show was entertaining, the horses were beautiful, and the food was quite good!

Your experience begins as you enter a complex inspired by an 11th century European-style castle. In the Hall of Arms, admire the display of medieval artifacts. There are coats of arms from many prestigious families and a spectacular array of medieval weaponry on display. Make your way into the arena and Royal trumpeters announce the call to the feast, summoning guests to take their seats in the arena in one of six designated color "zones" representing six authentic regions of Medieval Spain. You’ll feast on a four-course dinner, served sans silverware as the live show opens. The live production presents audience favorites such as jousting, sword fights, horsemanship, and falconry. Guests are taken back in time and encouraged to cheer for one of six "Knights of the Realm"

Wow what an experience!! We (12 of us) travelled from Scotland and was looking for something a bit different to help celebrate my husbands birthday. Oh my goodness! This was amazing!!! We booked directly through medival times through email and they were so helpful and responded promptly. We arrived just over an hour before our show and were there in time for the castle opening (what a treat 🥰) the staff were absolutely fantastic! The food was outstanding. The night was just so much fun. We had smaller kiddies with us and they enjoyed it so much. Was worth every penny! 100% recommend to go!
Much better than imagined. It was super amusing and fun. The tomato soup was super tasty. The serf that waited over me, Alex, was excellent.
The building was quite impressive, and the staff was dressed and spoke in authentic fashion. The show was enjoyable, and it captured the imagination of the kids. The food was delicious, although it’s worth noting that no utensils were provided. The drinks were quite expensive and not particularly good.
Birthday dinner for my daughter who is 11 and loves horses. The knights spoke with her and she felt special. The food was excellent. Service great. The show amazing.
Our party of 5 cheered on the red/yellow knight, sadly he lost, but what a fun time we had. The food was delicious, the server was very sociable and friendly, attentive to our needs. We had a very enjoyable evening.
My husband and I went on a whim and it was AWESOME! We upgraded to the VIP option so we were front row to all the action-well worth the $23 upgrade! The food was excellent, service was great, merchandise was unique and plentiful but the most important was the beautiful horses and the talented “knights” presenting the “story” for us to enjoy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
Very exciting show! Great for families and friends! Food is fun… especially eating with just your fingers… no silverware! Be ready to cheer on your color knight!
Nice pre-show facilities, great meal, show and service, and plenty of parking.
A great experience, good value for money, the atmosphere was fun and staff were amazing.
Recently attended the Medieval Times Dinner Show in Kissimmee. It was GREAT! We have young adult children and have been chilling to our timeshare in Kissimme for twenty years, so we are always trying to find something good and fun to do other than amusement parks. We decided on Medieval Times and we are so happy we did. Food was delicious and the show was highly entertaining. Highly recommend.
Great experience. Food and entertainment was amazing
Such a fun and memorable experience! We celebrated my mom’s birthday and the entire family had an amazing time. The show was entertaining, the atmosphere was so much fun, and the upgraded knighting ceremony made her birthday extra special. It was something different that we could all enjoy together, and we made some great family memories. We would definitely recommend it
Excitement is in view. Horses beautiful, knights courteous and well attentive to their supporters. Food good, soup great and hot hot hot. Look forward to going again.
It’s cheesy in all the right ways. Pay the extra and sit up close. The food is good and it’s simple. Kids loved it
We had such a great time at Medieval Nights in Orlando. We just loved the horses and the sword fighting. There were times that when the sword medal clinked together, a spark was actually generated! The food was great too. The waiters called men, “My Lord,” and the females were referred to as “My lady.” The fun part is eating chicken, corn on the cob, potatoes, dessert, and soup without silverware. And so much energy is alive when you are rooting for your team. Ours was the red knight. He was very fierce!!!! This place does accommodate for food allergies too. Don’t forget to bring cash for your server, a minimum of $10 per person. Very fun night.
The Medieval Times Dinner Show itself was pretty entertaining, good acting and storyline, most importantly the food was surprisingly yummy! There was a hiccup when we checked in though, they could not find our booking and we spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure it out. We actually never received a direct email from Medieval Times Dinner Show as confirmation, but we were supposed to? After the Supervisor got involved, she looked up our booking information and told us somebody had called to reschedule our booking to a later date? Not sure who/how that happened, but I'm glad she was able to resolve it for us.
7 family members of all ages hadn't spent a day together in 11 days in Orlando, so when we finally all had time to be together we chose to go to this and enjoyed it. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the food isn't my fave but it's not "bad"-- just not my kind of meal. That said, the show itself was well-presented and the horses are amazing. Also the fight scenes are cool-- my 13-yr-old nephew LOVED 'em.
Not only were the prices different from the vendors site and Viator, but we weren't even able to enter the event.
We enjoyed the Medieval Dinner Show. The roasted chicken was tender and fell off the bone. The tomato bisque and herb potato were good. The show was entertaining especially the jousting. We had a very good time and would recommend this activity.
Kids loved it. The food was delicious. Service and attitude were tops. We cheered for the blue knight. We purchased the more expensive Queens Royalty package which was worth it for the extras and the front row. Loved it.
The show was great and my daughter really enjoyed it. I was a bit disappointed that it only last 2 hrs and not 3 like it says on the site.
A must see! Entertaininh and the food was great.
Expensive meal (small chicken) water or soda, bread, corn and a tomato based soup. The show is what you're paying for. Very cold in there and sit on a cushioned bench wear comfy shoes! Bring jacket or sweater. The food was served at a good temperature but it was so cold inside for the horses. Stinks like horse poop - once was enough. Get your "free photo" which you pay for in the price. Dessert like a little Debbie's. Overpriced tourist attraction. Once was enough .
Really fun experience, the atmosphere was great! Food was enjoyable and much better than we expected. Brilliant show
It is an amazing interactive entertaining show. Be ready to get loud and cheer on your knights and get close to your neighbors
What an amazing night. So much enjoyment and entertainment for ALL ages. From the time you arrive to the time you leave, you will have the most fantastic time and make some wonderful memories. You can dress up in “olde worlde”style costumes or just arrive in casuals, it makes no difference. Once inside you will be allocated a seating number and color, the color depicts the knight you are cheering for. There is a photo shoot opportunity should you wish to buy a souvenir picture. You will be shown through to the bar/merchandise section before being called to the main arena area, where you will be seated in rows of tiered benches, which no matter where you are seated, you will be able to se the show. Drinks can be purchased at the bars, but ask prices before you say “Yes” as drinks in souvenir glasses can be a bit pricey. There are lots of medieval mementos, ornaments, souvenirs and gifts available to purchase at very reasonable prices. The show and showmanship was outstanding, including Falconry, jousting, sword fighting and horsemanship. Make sure you join in with cheering for your knight, it all adds to the experience, your enjoyment and excitement. It’s funny how quickly everyone was swept up into the sprint of the evening, shouting their knights on, clapping, cheering, and just having a fun filled enjoyable evening. The food was surprisingly very tasty, well cooked and plentiful, so much so, boxes are provided for you to take leftovers home with you. Free soft drinks are provided with your meal and coffee if you wish at the end of the meal. The servers were quick to get the food into the bowls and on the plates. Everything was served hot, of course with the exception of the dessert. The whole evening passed so quickly, and it was such a wonderful experience. Did we enjoy ourselves? Most definitely Are we glad we went? Absolutely Would we do it again? 100% YES
The show was fantastic and very exciting. We were all cheering and had a fantastic time. The food was way better than I was expecting and the chicken was moist and tender. I would love to go back and focus on the show more and less time trying to get pictures and videos.
It was a combination birthday gift to family members. I agreed to go. If you have an aversion to noise, crowds, tacky etc stay home. First you’re herded into a canaverous series of rooms and the whole point is to: 1) make you buy a lot of tacky stuff and b) get you drunk so you will buy more. Then you’re herded into a huge dark arena set up for a “dining experience “. Let’s get forget about the food. You’re not here to dine your here to feed. The horses and birds performed beautifully. I was embarrassed to be in their presence at this epitome of human triviality.
I’m 47 and have wanted to visit Medieval Times my entire life. I visited Orlando because my niece was competing in the Cheerleading All Star World Championship and my one suggestion for something to do during her downtime was to go to Medieval Times. Thankfully my family agreed and we had an incredible time! Even though I’m a vegetarian, I opted for the regular meal because the sides sounded better than the vegetarian meal. Our server was so sweet, when I mentioned I wasn’t going to have the chicken, she gave me extra soup, corn, and potatoes. The food is not Michelin star, but what you’re really there for is the entertainment, and they didn’t disappoint! We were rooting for the yellow knight and he came in second place. My niece and nephew weren’t sure what to expect, and afterwards they said it was the best idea to go there because they had such a great time. When teenagers say something is fun, you know you’re doing your job! We had an incredible time, and I hope I’m able to go again someday!
Raw chicken.inedible and entertainment absolute rubbish, overpriced drinks have to buy your own glass of you want a beer.its a rip off, only want to refund for 4people there was 7 of us.save your money don't do it.🤬🤬🤬
Fantastic show! I was impressed by the actors and the horses were amazing and beautiful. I took my 9 yr old granddaughter. She loved it. So much action.
I can’t really write a review because it got canceled the day of - when we were already there. A car crashed into their back lot and messed up their power so that’s a bummer! I hope I get refunded - I still don’t see it on my account but it’s only three days so I will wait another 4 days
It was great food and energy vibes from the crowd 😊 I would come again. Casual attire. My mom and I bonded over cheering for our knight and beautiful horses.
It's a great experience. Second time doing it here in Orlando and we enjoy it every time. Would totally recommend trying it.
Horsemanship and stunt work of the knights was impressive. don't go there for the food - the dim lighting aided the consumption (knifes and miniature trident's were a thing back then so would have been nice to have them to hand). lots of overpriced tat for sale. not a great story, and the disneyfied/American accent of the princess/queen is a but too much. just bear in mind its for kids, and they have a whale of a time.
An amazing experience with awesome food! Out waiter was working his second day and did a great job. A*
Went with my husband and adult children. This was an evening of good food and entertainment. We laughed, cheered and ate like the Lords and Ladies of the Medieval times. The staff was great. It was a fun experience.
If you suspect this is not for you don’t go. It was obvious that most of the audience were into this “reality TV “ type entertainment, me not so much. Ambiance: rampant commercialism. Get there early so you can be herded into a mall of a thousand potential purchases. God forbid you have children with you. You get over an hour buying time. Or you can select an adult drink or two. It is crowded and you may have to stand. While you wait you can peruse an abundance of artificial artifacts. Entertainment: a mixed bag of excellent horsemanship, athletic prowess and weak storytelling. Food: you didn’t expect a Michelin star did you. Service: abundant and striving.
Aunt Amanda said best time in her life. I've been many times so I knew it would be great.my teenagers came once before as kids and they loved seeing it again. I'm a restauranteur and caterer for 51 years and the food could not have been better. Wow! Wow!
The service was top notch. The show was more than just jousting. The energy was high and the costumes were beautiful. Horses looked well cared for
Good food and entertainment. We all enjoyed ourselves and the food made us full. The cocktails were tasty also.
such a great experience. we were well taken care of. lots of loud laughter and cheering for your knight. the food was great and severed very hot. gotta love eating with your hands
At first glance, I thought the ticket price was high. After the fact, I realized the price is reasonable for all the theatrics and upkeep of the castle, horses and staff. The show was a lot of fun and will go again if the opportunity comes. You need to see this at least once. Great fun for young and old. Get a souvenir horn cup!
Great entertainment! Great food! Fun evening!
It's a spectacular atmosphere, everything is great. Good vibes, the food is very good, the staff are very friendly, although the parking is a nightmare... hahaha
The food is so cheap Only refill my drinks twice the disert was horrible. The show was done bc 2 hrs no worthy for almost $200 the I paid. And they ask for tips too .
Loved the whole experience. The actors and horseman were so very talented. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive.
Such a fun and unique experience. The food is delicious and fun! The show is so involved with the audience that it takes you into the story. The gift shops are amazing. Every detail is planned out perfectly.
We’ve been coming to Medieval Times since the 90s—our parents before us, back when the castle moved. Orlando has always been the best castle, but this visit made it clear how much the experience has slipped. The food was uneven: the soup was good, chicken moist, and corn excellent, but the potato and éclair were inedible. Seasoning has clearly changed across the board, including the soup, and not for the better. Tea is no longer served, which felt like a strange downgrade. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. The biggest issue was ticketing and accessibility. VIP pricing is a sham. We paid extra only to be funneled under the breezeway and forced up four sets of stairs—unsafe for our disabled group—while staff watched and did nothing. Over half the theater was labeled “VIP,” making the upcharge feel like a cash grab rather than a benefit. The new show is also a step down. When the story centered on Queen Isabella, we loved how it honored the original king-and-daughter narrative while letting her step into her own power. We understood the old story was problematic, but it felt like growth. The new alliance storyline—with its war-mongering queen, chauvinist king, and one of our own knights cast as a villain—kills the magic. We used to stand together against raiders; now the heart of the show feels fractured. That said, the cast diversity is wonderful. The Green and Yellow Knights were phenomenal—talented, athletic, and engaging. Unfortunately, the king had poor posture and was difficult to understand, prioritizing a low pitch over clarity. The queen seemed sweet but underpowered. Black and White continues to have the worst attitude regardless of role. At the end of the day, the cast carries this show—and when the story can’t support them, it shows. With so many dinner shows in Orlando now earning strong reviews, we’re honestly questioning whether we’ll be back, or at least not as often. You may want to save your money.
