We had a great trip with a terrific guide, Captain Elliot. He was very knowledgeable. We saw dolphins and Elliot immediately turned around the boat so we could watch them surfing behind another boat. We followed them for at least a mile. Amazing to watch! When the Captain pulls out his camera to film a newborn dolphin surfing, you know it’s something special. We found lots of cool shells and had a wonderful afternoon.

Fantastic experience for the whole family! This is our first trip to Marco Island and this was a great start to our trip. The crew were really friendly, informative and even managed to find a manatee for us! My children are 10 & 11, they both loved the dolphin spotting and shelling. Highly recommend

Our guide was Marco. He was a wealth of knowledge. On our way to the island we saw manatees , and he slowed down to let dolphins play in the boat wake. One of them even seemed to be trying to splash him. We also saw a bald eagle, ospreys, a red shouldered hawk, roseate spoon bills, and a variety of other waterbirds. He took his time and made sure to find us an island that did not have anyone else on it and he helped me to find particular shells that I was looking for. We found a nice variety. On the way back, we had great discussions about shell mounds versus meteor craters in the creation of the land around Marco island. We have been on shelling tours before , but Marco made this one of the best!

Captain Elliot was entertaining, enthusiastic and enlightening. Saw lots of wildlife, Osprey, dolphins and found tons of cool sea shells 🐚 not available from the hotel beach. Would definitely go again on next trip. Thanks for making our day special Captain Elliot.

Went with my young daughters and we had a fantastic time! Captain Elliott was friendly, knowledgeable, fun and took time to engage the girls to give them a real appreciation of the mangroves. They loved the boat ride to the shell beach and we were blessed to be able to see dolphins come to play alongside th boat! Captain Elliott was awesome!

Our guide and boat captain were both very knowledgeable and engaging. We saw dolphins jumping waves behind our boat, learned a lot about local birds and found some cool shells and sand dollars.

From beginning to end, the tour was everything we hoped for and more. The scenery was breathtaking, and getting out on the water gave us the opportunity to see Marco Island from a completely different perspective. We loved seeing the beautiful wildlife, exploring the coastline, and stopping to look for shells. It was the perfect combination of relaxation, adventure, and sightseeing. What made the experience even more special was our guide. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the area, making the tour both entertaining and informative. You could tell they truly wanted everyone to have a memorable experience. This was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Marco Island and something we will remember for a long time. Whether you’re visiting Marco Island for the first time or you’re a local looking for a fun adventure, I highly recommend this tour! Basically we took a boat to an island where they let you off for 45 minutes.Gave no ideas or hints for shell searching. All shells were picked over more than likely from all the other shell excursions earlier. I found as many shells as I did at my hotel beach. The attendants didn’t seem to care that we paid a hundred dollars each for this excursion. Others on the excursion felt the same. Dolphin sightings only lasted for a short time 15 minutes .We spent most of the excursion going to the island and back about one hour of the two hour excursion.Very disappointed. We saw people from the earlier excursion came back with big beautiful shells,starfish and sand dollars.

We had an absolutely AMAZING tour with Captain Lloyd and Dylan. We saw a number of native birds, a shark, manatee, and many dolphins, in addition to having a wonderful time shelling. Lloyd and Dylan were incredibly knowledgeable and shared very interesting facts about the animals and the habitat. We would highly recommend this tour!

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our shelling and dolphin sightseeing adventure, and so much of that was thanks to our amazing captain, Lloyd! Lloyd was incredibly knowledgeable about the 10,000 Islands, the wildlife, the history of the area, and everything we saw along the way. He took us to some amazing spots and knew exactly where to find the dolphins. We were lucky enough to see several different pods, which was such a memorable experience for our family! He also took us to a small island where we found tons of beautiful shells. Lloyd was so patient, kind, and wonderful with our two girls (2 and 4), making sure they had a fun and memorable experience. His knowledge, personality, and genuine love for the area really made the trip special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better captain. If you’re looking for a fun, educational, and family-friendly way to explore the 10,000 Islands, we highly recommend booking with Lloyd. We would absolutely do this trip again!

My daughter in law, her son, and my great granddaughter were staying on Marco for a week from Cincinnati and I came into Naples from Gainesville to meet them. We all met in goodland for our tour to see dolphins and gather seashells with Captain Lloyd and tour master, Dylan. The children are 10 and 12. We saw dolphins almost immediately after leaving the dock and the enthusiasm of Dylan’s knowledge of the dolphins and the area was apparent and infectious. He and Captain Lloyd were exceptional! I lived on Marco for 35 years and wanted to share my love for the area with my great granddaughter especially. The shelling was a big hit with us all, especially after finding a giant horse conch! I would highly recommend this fantastic adventure to anyone! We even got to see a Roseate Spoonbill, my favorite bird!

Our dolphin watch and shelling tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide was absolutely fantastic—so knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the local wildlife and the area. He was incredibly patient with our kids, taking the time to answer every question they had and making sure they felt included throughout the tour. One of the best parts of the experience was shelling on the island. We were the only group there, which made it feel so peaceful and personal. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to explore, collect beautiful shells, and enjoy the scenery at our own pace. Seeing dolphins up close in their natural habitat was unforgettable. The guide knew exactly where to go and gave us amazing opportunities to watch them. It was such a special experience for our whole family. If you're looking for a relaxing, educational, and memorable adventure, I can't recommend this tour enough. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and we would absolutely do it again!

Our tour was perfect! We took the 2 hour wildlife and shelling tour. We had Captain Marco who was very friendly and knowledgable. He made sure to find us the best shells and knew exactly where to go to see wildlife. Our 2 boys, 10 & 13, had so much fun finding shells - Captain Marco told them all about the shells they found. We were able to see dolphins and a manatee. The dolphins were playing right near our boat!

We saw dolphins and manatees up close, and the dolphins jumped through our boat's wake. the trip was enjoyed by the whole family, which included a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old. will definitely book this again.

We had a fantastic morning with Captain Lloyd watching dolphins play and shelling on a small island. Lloyd was funny, full of information, answered all of our questions, and is clearly friends with the dolphins- they liked us better than the other boats! Take this tour- you won't be sorry.

Wonderful 2 hour guided boat tour to see wild pods of dolphins, manatees, and birds up close. Stopping to do shelling was great fun. Thank you to Colleen and Marco for their expertise in the Marco ecosystem and safe fun boating. The whole family of 12 loved it.

We had a great time going out to experience Marco Island from the water with Florida Adventures tour. Our guides Colleen and Dylan were nice and very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. My 8 year old son had a wonderful experience and learned a lot, and was so excited to get to see the dolphins up close playing on the wake of the boat. Highly recommend the tour for families!

This was an amazing experience, we were able to see a dolphin pod that followed the boat as we went and that was amazing, my toddler loved the experience watching the dolphins dive and splash. We also found couple of manatees and couple of white pelicans. Big thanks to Captain Chollen and Jessica (tour guide and marine biologist) they were able to tell us some awesome stories about the history of Marco island, biodiversity, conservation programs in the area. Shelling with family was an amazing experience and core memory experience. Definitely recommend this tour and big shout out to the cap and guide.

Captain Lloyd and our guide Sonya were a fabulous team and did an amazing job! Both were very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Our family had a wonderful time and learned a lot of new things along the way! We saw many dolphins and found great shells! Captain Elliot did great on the tour, he was very knowledgeable about the land and answered all our questions. Even helped my daughter and wife find some sand dollars. We will definitely be back next time we are able to be down thwt way.

A perfect tour for my family. The guides were so knowledgeable on everything that we were seeing. My girls learned so much and saw so much sea life!

Had a great time. Very knowledgeable team who kept all of us engaged. Saw dolphin pods and had a manatee encounter. Boats are well equipped both with equipment and also personnel. My 4 yr old had a great time, warm shallow waters with a lot of shelling to do on the beach. Would do it again.

Lloyd was such an incredible captain! He taught us so much throughout the tour and we really had the best time. He even knew the behavior of the dolphins and saw they were in the mood to play, and they joined us for about ten minutes doing so many spins and jumps. The ride was a week ago and my three year old is still talking about it! He helped us find really cool shells too! Not one complaint about the experience. The ONLY suggestion I have for people is to make sure you are loaded up with bug spray if you get bad reactions - the parking lot was swarmed with mosquitos and I was covered. The second we got on the boat, the bugs were not an issue so no need to worry about that, but they were latching onto us the second we opened our car door.

Our ‘skippers’ Coleen and Jessica were outstanding! Their personality and knowledge blended to make this a memorable excursion. Their highlight of the trip were dolphins jumping in the wake as we headed to ‘Shell island’. Highly recommend!

Captain Coleen was very knowledgeable a Captain Lloyd was funny! We had a wonderful time! We saw 5 manatees and a mother dolphin and her calf. Lots of beautiful birds too. We learned so much about this amazing ecosystem and had a great time shelling.

Jessica and Elliot were phenomenal! Jessica is extremely knowledgeable and was more than happy and patient with all our questions. Her explanations were outstanding. Elliot is a fantastic captain. He made sure to let us know if he spotted dolphins and accommodated as needed in stopping the boat. I would highly recommend using this company!
