What a great experience! I highly recommend reserving with Captain Marco. His incredible knowledge of the waterways, dolphins, and local history really made the experience. We experienced up-close encounters with tons of dolphins and manatees. 5 stars for sure.

Excellent and knowledgeable captains!! Great time and saw so many dolphins and learned a lot about the island and its history too.
Exceptional excursion. I have to admit this is my fourth trip over an almost twenty-year period. I have taken children and grandchildren in the past. Today I was with 80 plus -year-old friends who have lived on our Island for years. Once again, I was definitely not disappointed. The knowledgeable crew gave us many details on the dolphins we might encounter. We were given books to view with pictures of the over 120 named dolphins currently in their study. Recognized by their dorsal fin markings. These scientists have been observing this local group since 2006. Children on board were engaged immediately an asked to take part in their scientific studies. They were given materials to mark down and name which dolphins we might encounter. At the end they were given badges for helping. This day we came across 22 dolphins including two mothers with recent babies, other parents, siblings, grandparents and great grandparents. In other words, generations of related dolphins. I am now fortunate to be able to name the dolphin I see crossing in front of my condo each day named Sinbad. He was traveling that day with his buddy Notch. I am thrilled I can now tell my friends when visiting who they are. It's easy to get up and move about the boat when safe to do so. Sometimes the crew said they see more dolphins but not nearly as playful as witnessed that day. We just got lucky and told you never know when it might happen. The dolphins followed and surrounded the boat closely. Jumping in the air over and over and over again. Fantastic picture taking opportunities. The crew also printed photos of Pink Roseate Spoonbills we observed, a jumping dolphin and an individual group photo. This is a must-see excursion for people visiting our lovely Island. The crew is outstanding. Well worth its cost.
We had a great time. Captain Marco was very informative and we saw lots of dolphins, manatees and even stopped for shelling. 5 stars!
Our captain/guide Marco was outstanding!!!! Knowledge of location history dolphins and all things Marco Island was incredible!!! Would recommend this experience to everyone!!!
Elliott was a wonderful guide, with lots of great knowledge Enjoyed the tour immensely Saw a wonderful feeding pod of dolphins, a once in a lifetime experience
The welcome before the tour and the captain (Capt. Marco) were outstanding, great insights shared, made the tour very entertaining. Mother Nature did the rest, the inlets, the mangroves and all the wildlife is spectacular. Thanks for a great tour!
Captain Lloyd seemed to really love the dolphins and what he does. They really responded to him and put on a show, chasing our wake for almost 10 minutes. It was well worth the price of the ticket!
Captain Lloyd was safe driver, he made you feel super comfortable walking on the boat to different vantage points and he was full of information about the islands eco systems and wildlife. Super friendly guy!!
This was a fantastic experience! We saw a lot of dolphins jumping and our guide was super knowledgeable.
Highly experienced captain (Lloyd) and extremely knowledgeable naturalist (Dylan). Their excitement in being out on the water viewing the marine life was palpable. We saw many dolphins, a shark, a sting ray, ospreys, brown pelicans, and a roseate spoonbill. Great trip. Would book it again the next time we are in the area.
Captain Lloyd took us on a real adventure - hold onto your hats! - we had a blast motoring around the Ten Thousand Islands area hearing all the stories about the sea life, the islands and mangroves - we saw a lot of dolphins and Lloyd was careful and respectful around them - he also took us to a great secluded beach for some shells to bring home - it’s legal to collect them here - all in all a great experience and highly recommended
Captain Lloyd and Dylan were excellent tour leaders, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We frequently saw dolphins jumping and playing behind the boat. Also saw a lot of native birds and even a sea turtle!!
Great experience……we saw plenty of dolphins and more . Two thumbs up to Gilbert and Marco who did a great job educating and entertaining us throughout the 2 hour trip!
We wanted to get out on the water and this was a perfect way to explore the thousand islands! Dolphins were out and putting on a show!!! It was nice to have a small group of 7 in our boat. Captain Colleen and Dillon were WONDERFUL! They were so relaxed yet excited to share their massive knowledge and experience with all thousand islands creatures we encountered. So fun to hear their stories! Colleen IS The Dolphin Whisperer and Dillon has such interesting facts about dolphins and wildlife from his extensive research throughout the Caribbean! How lucky we were to stumble upon them! What a beautiful day! Do not hesitate to book with them. Thank you Colleen and Dillon!
Amazing experience once again! This was our fourth summer doing a tour and we were so impressed yet again. From the friendly service, to the knowledgeable insights, and the incredible relationship with the dolphins. Thank you so much for loving what you do and sharing it with us. We were fortunate to see three different pods today, as well as several manatees. Captain Colleen and Kathleen — THANK YOU SO MUCH from your Lake Havasu, AZ couple.
Lloyd and Jessica were a great team! Lloyd shared sooo many fun facts and information about the islands and about the animals we saw. We got to see many dolphins, a pod of manatees, shore birds and other island birds, & an osprey nest. It was fun going far out from Goodland. My husband & I highly recommend the tour, esp with these two if you can get them!
One of the best tours we’ve ever done. My kids literally wanted to book again the next day. Captain Colleen was great. So knowledgeable and fun!
Floridas Adventures customer service from the initial contact at booking, to the meeting place on the boat, and off the boat is exceptional. A personal family owned experience. On the boat the guide and Captain had guests of all ages engaged, relaxed and smiling in awe as we experienced the dolphins surfing behind the boat! The manatees, turtles, stingrays and many birds we saw. Exceptional! It’s terrible the JW Marriott does not promote their services as an option for guests.
Great Dolphin sight seeing trip! 5 Stars ++++ Jess and Ellison were our captains and they were both knowledgeable about the area, birds, and especially the dolphins. They gave us so much information about the dolphins, engaged the kids on board and humored the adults. We saw lots of dolphins and some dolphins even swam along with our boat. We also learned about hurricane birds!
We had an amazing time with Captain Colleen .. she knew all the right spots to find dolphins and manatees … and her knowledge of them was incredible We highly recommend!
Superb trip on a good boat. Captain - Elliott - was great. Really good fun and spotted Dolphins (loads) a Manatee, loads of stingrays and a host of birds.
it's funny when all the other tour boats follow your boat, you know you have the best guides. Thanks for the great tour!
Captain Elliott was amazing! Had a true love and knowledge for the 10,000 Islands. He went above and beyond to make our experience magical…we even saw a baby dolphin!
Jessica and Lloyd were incredible from start to finish. The dolphin and wildlife tour around Marco Island was the perfect. Within minutes, dolphins were swimming right alongside the boat playful, close, and unforgettable! What really made it stand out was how knowledgeable and genuinely passionate they were. They shared fun facts about the local wildlife, pointed out different birds and marine life. 11/10 recommend.
What a great trip! Jessica and Lloyd were amazing hosts. We saw turtles, dolphins, rays, and many birds. Our guides were knowledgeable and charismatic! Definitely recommend this tour to families with young children!
We had a great time. We saw 12 dolphins and 2 manatees. Katherine and Jesse were great guides!
Jessica and Colleen were so spectacular! They were so knowledgeable and we saw tons of dolphins. Really wonderful 2 hour tour and highly recommend going. Up close to dolphins!
We booked a 3-hour dolphin tour with Florida Adventures and Rentals and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! This was hands down the highlight of our entire Marco Island vacation. From the moment we stepped on board, Captain Colleen made our family of four feel welcome. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable - her warm personality truly enhanced the entire experience. Having the whole boat to ourselves made it feel like a private, personalized adventure. The dolphin encounter was magical! Colleen knew exactly where to find them and even knew many of the dolphins by name. She shared fascinating facts about their behaviors and personalities that made the experience so much more meaningful. The best part? She got the dolphins to follow our boat, jumping and playing in our wake - absolutely spectacular! Next, we headed to a stunning private island made entirely of seashells. We spent about an hour exploring this hidden gem with just our family, collecting shells and soaking in the breathtaking ocean views. What a unique and peaceful experience! The adventure continued as Colleen navigated us to see manatees and sea turtles. These gentle creatures were amazing to observe up close, and Colleen's ability to locate them across miles of open ocean was truly impressive. Her expertise made all the difference. If you're visiting Marco Island, especially with young children, this tour is an absolute must. It's a guaranteed good time that creates memories your family will treasure forever. Thank you, Captain Colleen and Florida Adventures and Rentals, for an incredible day on the water!
Excellent. Two captains were outstanding. Knowledgeable and entertaining.
Saw manatee, dolphins, and turtles. Also saw a variety of birds. Jessica and Elliott were excellent guides, funny, interesting, friendly, with lots of expertise.
Captain Colleen was not only a great boat captain but also entertaining and extremely knowledgeable of marine/wild life in FL. We saw several dolphins, turtles and a few manatees plus birds. My 6 and 4 year old grandsons said it was the most fun day ever and asked if we could go again next time they visit. We highly recommend exploring and learning with this tour group.
We had an amazing experience with the Dolphin Tour! Elliott and Sonja were very knowledgeable about dolphins and other wildlife in the area. We saw so many dolphins, it was incredible. We had many dolphins following our boat! Highly recommend!
Totally awesome, saw lots and lots of dolphins. Dolphins jumping our boat wake, playing and swimming close to our boat. Captain Colleen was very knowledgeable, kind and made the tour very fun!!!
We had Colleen and she made the experience great! She was very knowledgeable and shared lots of great fun facts. She also got some of the dolphins to jump in the wake of the boat. Overall would highly recommend. We saw dozens of dolphins of all ages. Saw the youngest and the oldest dolphin around
What a wonderful experience! Colleen was an amazing guide — eminently knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun. We not only saw dolphins but also learned about their biology and behaviors. We also learned about the sea environment generally. At one point, we attracted dolphins to jump repeatedly in the boat’s wake. We will definitely take this tour again when we return to Marco Island.
Marco was great--very informative and knowledgeable about birds, fish, the Island, etc. Thank you.
This was my second excursion and I would defintely choose Florida Adventures again. Our two hour boat ride was a great exploratory adventure of the Marco Island area and we saw so many dolphins. A favorite part is having dolphins catch a wave alongside the boat, riding along in the boat's wake. Jessica and Elliot are very personable and knowledgeable, sharing their knowledge of the area's ecosystem. There were 12 passengers on our boat and plenty of room for everyone.
Elliot and Sonia are outstanding guides. Their rich knowledge of Marco Island (and Elliot growing up there), the flora and fauna, and the conservation efforts made our tour exceptionally interesting. Their stories about Flattop, Split, and the other dolphins were great.
Very fun educational exciting we enjoyed this as part of our vacation yearly saw a sting ray lots of birds and a manatee all on one trip
We went on the dolphin tour in early March and had a great time! Our captains were awesome and had so much knowledge about the dophins, manatees and the ecological importance of the mangroves. They answered all of our questions and filled the trip with energetic conversation that kept us engaged. The captains were able to find dolphins in several different areas and explained their behavior to us. Even without the learning experience, the environment was beautiful and the ride was exhilarating. We highly recommend the trip to all.
The boat pilot and tour guide were great. Super knowledgeable and fun. They knew the area and the tour guide was a marine biologist who knew the answer to any question.
A wonderful tour! The crew was helpful and knowledgeable, and they clearly love what they do. We saw many wonderful sights, and a lot of playful dolphins! A great way to spend an afternoon
It was an incredible experience. Elliot was our captain - he was knowledgeable and passionate. We got an amazing day with clear water and were surrounded by dolphins putting on a show! It was nice to have a small group (6 of us) compared to some of the crowded boats I’ve seen leaving the resorts. Booking and communications were easy and smooth too! Thank you!
If I could give this tour a 6 I would! Absolutely great experience. Captain Elliot was awesome and the rest of the people that we met from the company were very friendly. We ended up following a pod of dolphins the whole time and it did not disappoint. We could practically touch the dolphins and they were very playful with us. The boat was very comfortable and over all we feel like we had an experience of a lifetime!
Amazing - big recommendation
We had an absolutely wonderful experience on this excursion.. Captain Elliott was incredibly knowledgeable about the ecosystem and the dolphins. You could truly feel his passion and respect for the environment. What amazed us most was how the dolphins seemed to recognize him -- several times they swam right up and glided effortlessly in the boat's wake. It was such a special sight to see. The boat ride itself was extremely comfortable, and the captain was very considerate on the water. He carefully navigated around the wakes of other boats and always slowed down when needed, which made the experience relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a memorable and thoughtful wildlife experience.
During our Naples stay, we booked a Marco Island boat excursion and were rewarded with a beautiful day on the water and outstanding dolphin sightings. The captain was skilled, safety-focused, and informative, while the guide was pleasant but occasionally uncertain in her commentary. Logistics detracted from an otherwise enjoyable outing: parking is extremely limited, boarding instructions were unclear, and our group initially gathered where other tours met, only to be retrieved later and depart behind schedule. The boat, though safe, felt overcrowded, making viewing difficult and comfort limited. A cooler previously confirmed on board was not provided. At higher speeds, February winds made conditions surprisingly chilly. Overall, the wildlife viewing and scenery make the trip worthwhile, but improved organization and passenger comfort would elevate the experience.
We started seeing dolphins just after leaving the dock. We has a captain and a naturalist with us and they did a great job of telling us about the dolphins, the islands, and the Rockery Bay eco-system. Very interesting. The highlight was having dolphins surf and do flips right behind us. Amazing!!!
Absolutely amazing experience! Huge shout out to Kathleen who was so kind and even offered to pick us up due to an unexpected road closure that caused us to be late for the tour. She went above and beyond to help us- if every business had a Kathleen they would soar to success! And no words good enough to describe Elliott our boat captain and Sophie our guide. Elliott was incredible- he was an amazing navigator, knew where to find the dolphins and how to engage them - we saw so many and they were so playful! Exceeded expectations! And Sophie was such a knowledgeable guide- she shared such interesting information about the dolphins and other wildlife as well as the ecosystem and history of Marco and its’ islands. Awesome adventure- highly recommend!
