Great for experience levels! Beaching up at Midnight Pass was a special treat! Seeing Manatees was a rare sight! Bring a shell bag! Lots of shells! Mangrove Tunnels too!
My son and I had a good time. Our guide was wonderful, helped us out alot. Beach was pretty with alot of shells.
Matt was great he was very attentive and informative and fun! Would recommend to others! Great for beginners learning!
Nothing is guaranteed which is reasonable but disappointing if you expect to see things. "Private beach" is loaded with people and good luck finding any shells or shark teeth worth keeping. Mangroves were OK but basically just lined the inlet. The tour guide Matt was knowledgeable and the weather which looked bad turned out to pass over. It was just ok, not sure why a 2 person tandem kayak costs $100 more than 2 separate 1 person kayaks. If anything it should be cheaper. With that being said its not too rigorous so if you want to save money get separate kayaks. Not sure it was worth the $220 but would have been for $120 for 2 people.
Mike was great! Friendly and super knowledgeable. The outfit itself was great and easy to work with. We had some weather while in town and they proactively reached out to move our activity out.
Our tour guide, JJ, was excellent! Unfortunately, that didn't make up for other problems. The tour operator, Surfit, sent only one employee to the boat launch to handle boat rentals not with our group, as well as to check in and get our whole group set up on the water. As a result, our "small" group of 17 set off 30 minutes late. We went through only one small mangrove, and the "secret" beach was loaded with other folks. We did enjoy all the info that JJ shared about the area.
Orion is amazing ! Kind and so knowledgeable! It was a great experience!
Our guide, Orien, was great, He made everyone feel comfortable and was knowledgeable about the area.
Great kayak tour to an area that is only accessible by boat, SUP or kayak. Beautiful spot. Always find sharks teeth here. Very informative of the area. I've done this three times over the past 18 months. Each time the beach area changes.
First time in a kayak. Definitely harder than it looks. Kimbrough, our guide, was helpful and encouraging.
What an amazing experience! Our tour guide was great! He was full of knowledge about not just kayaking but the eco system and history of midnight pass. Highly recommend it
Great trip. Very family friendly and fun. Orian our guide was great. Very experienced and well Done.
Great tour! Kimbro was the best, very knowledgeable and informative. Midnight Pass beach was insane.
was a great tour. we had someone on our trip that has never kayaked before, and our tour guide was very helpful and supportive.
Matt was a very personable knowledgeable tour guide. It was in an enjoyable experience.
I had a wonderful weekend stay at this condo and would absolutely stay here again. The space is adorable, thoughtfully designed, and felt clean and welcoming the moment I walked in. It smelled good, and every room was clean—especially the bathroom, which I really appreciated. The condo is also very well-stocked with thoughtful touches. Included are towels, full kitchen tools, beach chairs and beach towels. It was temperature-controlled with AC and ceiling fans throughout, which made the stay extra comfortable. There were smart TVs in the bedroom and living room, with easy access to popular streaming services like Netflix. I slept very well and didn’t hear any noise from neighboring units. The location is incredible. I booked an excursion that ended up being two minutes away. The beach is only about a two to three-minute drive. It’s the perfect spot for convenience and relaxation. One of my favorite features was the outdoor space. There’s a full patio in the back along with a beautiful dock overlooking the water. It’s such a serene, unique setting, and if you’re adventurous, you could even swim right there behind the condo. Lastly, the hosts were excellent—very responsive and typically replied within 5 to 15 minutes. I truly have no complaints and highly recommend this stay.
Instructor was very friendly, very knowledgeable, informative and everyone had a great time. We all had a great time.
Absolutely loved this experience! Matt was super knowledgeable and fun! The places we went were so beautiful with lots of shells and shark teeth to find! Also saw a super cool sooty sea slug I think it was called. Highly recommend this place and this tour!! Had an amazing time
Great equipment great tour great instructor guide. Beautiful day on the water.
Great guided tour of the mangroves and. “Hidden beach” that’s only accessible by boat. We spent a good 1/2 hour at the beach. It was Sunday so it was crowded but lovely. Tons of shells! Matt was a great tour guide very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend.
You may or may not see any wildlife but we did see 1 dolphin, 2 osprey, 2 bald eagles but unfortunately no manatees (but no guarantee we would’ve) & don’t go on a windy day unless experienced, as it was hard to navigate since I’ve only done this once. Still a good day on the water on a 70 degree day with my daughter. Bring bottled water, towel & a baggie for collecting shells on the island, they had us stop at. We found several shark teeth & actually saw a small shark about a foot long, swimming in the shallows!!
It was fun and relaxing at the same time. The tour took us to midnight pass where we stopped and looked for shells, which were in abundance and some shark teeth.
We had a great time on our kayaking tour today with our tour guide Aaron! He was very knowledgeable and he took us to a private beach where there were thousands of beautiful seashells and clear water to swim in. He even walked the beach and found shark teeth for us that were washed up on the shore.
Great voyage! Loved the beach we went to. Wish I had packed better. Bring water and a bag for shell collecting
Very calm and relaxing tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable of the wildlife that lived in the area.
Michael was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area and we saw several manatees. Perfect place to visit
I saw many beautiful mangrove tunnels when I had gone another time without a tour guide. I was expecting a learning experience of the local ecosystem as we kayaked. Tour guide only gave anecdotes of his past experiences at other jobs. Way over priced for what we experienced.
This is a great experience for everyone including those that have never kayaked before. We had a great time. We really enjoyed going thru the mangrove caves and spending time on the beach. Would definitely go again.
Very friendly staff (shout out to Mike), explained the area and gave guidance. Also beautiful area with mangroves. This was awesome experience, recommend for every skill level.
Friendly, helpful. It was a nice day but a bit windy. They prioritized safety. I wish there were more mangroves but it’s not the spot.
The kyyak tour was an enjoyable experience with our knowledgeable guide, Cody. I recommend Surf Fit.
Kayaking through the mangroves and shark enclosure was fun. Our tour guide Sawyer was super nice and had interesting facts about the areas.
We had the best time! It ended up being the best manatee encounter I have ever had! And I have been trying for years… it was a great day and the mangroves were great to tour for exercise. Our guide Tim was wonderful.
Enjoyed the tour -- beautiful area -- missed out by 1 day when they said their were a lot of manatees - really liked the history of the shark tank area, the mangroves - going through the mangrove tunnels and visiting the beautiful private beach that was filled with shells! Then only thing I would suggest is if you have never kayaked, the guide should ask that question and give guidance on how to kayak etc.
Amazing experience. Our tour guide was very nice and knows a lot information about the area, nature and wildlife. Next time we will visit with our family.
Great experience!! Went over spring break with the grandparents & kids (9,13 &16) everyone had a wonderful time. Our guide was knowledgeable & fun. I would definitely recommend this trip!
The private beach was amazing! I We just went without a guide it was great! We didn’t see dolphins or manatee but I think evening or morning might be better
Sawyer was a great tour guide and was very accommodating to our large group. The kids had a great time. We had kids ages 7-16, some tandem and single kayaks. Very nice tour of the mangroves.
Great tour guide, upbeat personality. small group still so fun. Updating the site to say manatees aren’t in the area in early spring would be helpful to other visitors who would like to see them.
Aaron was a great tour guide! Private beach was the best but the whole tour was relaxing and so fun. Def worth the experience
It was wonderful! We kayaked through a channel to a beach and saw a lot of wildlife. Then we kayaked through mangrove trees. Would do it again for sure!
Really fun time seeing the sights and the wildlife. The guide was experienced and entertaining. We would gladly do it again.
We really enjoyed our kayak tour with Tim. He was knowledgeable and engaging…he made the trip fun and interesting. Great trip through the mangrove forests and out to a beautiful swimming beach-so many shells! I was disappointed that we didn’t see any manatees, but that means I’ll just have to return when the water’s warmer! Thanks for a great experience!
Tim was awesome! Kayaking through the mangroves was so cool and the beach we stopped at was beautiful. We had a great time!
Mangrove tunnels were pretty cool, saw a dolphin too!.Tour guide was very knowledgeable ,however he was a bit late.
Tim provided an informational and humorous tour. Martha provided educational details about the ecosystem. Overall this was a great adventure, good sight-seeing and something that should be on your bucket list!
Our guide brought us out to a secluded beach where we witnessed the local wildlife. I would absolutely recommend visiting the area.
Tim was our guide we had a Great time! It was honestly a once in a lifetime experience! He was very knowledgeable and personable! Thanks so much for making our anniversary trip unforgettable! The kayaking also was so easy! Would recommend to everyone!
We travel often, and usually book local companies for our activities. This was honestly one of the best we’ve ever experienced! Tim our guide was amazing! We got to experience manatee so close we could touch them. 100% recommend this company!
