Manatee Watching Walking Tour In Bradenton

Ben was prompt, knew a lot about the area and the manatees! Nice guy! We saw about 8 of them when there! So fun!!!☺️

We had a great walking tour with Lachlan. He was very knowledgeable and we saw mama and baby manatees. Would highly recommend.

It was very special to be so close to so many manatees that our guide found just as promised! I also learned a lot and got all my questions about these animals answered. Our guide went out of his way to contact people in his group to make sure we found him, even though it was pouring rain when the tour was supposed to start. We got lucky and the weather cleared up. Our guide stayed much longer than required to enjoy the manatee sightings with us.

I can sum it up in three words… fun fun fun. Tommy was excellent and very knowledgeable. We saw seven manatees!

Tommy the tour guide is incredible. His prices are very reasonable, affordable for the whole family. He’s very knowledgeable, personable and an excellent source for all things manatee. We saw at least seven manatees from mothers with babies, juveniles and one really big guy by the boats. He does a kayaking tour as well I’m going to try next time. This was one of the best things we did while staying on Anna Maria Island. Our guide was incredibly nice and full of knowledge. We came for the manatees and were not disappointed. We also got to see dolphins play and eat! Would highly recommend.

This was an amazing experience. Tommy was very knowledgeable, kind, helpful and enthusiastic. We saw eight different manatees and we saw dolphins coming in and out swimming and eating fish. This was the best thing we did while vacationing in Florida and it was so affordable. I recommend this for anyone who would like to see wildlife.

Tommy texted 30 minutes prior to set start time with location verification and his description. Super helpful to know that information. He was very friendly, warm, and informative. We were able to multiple manatees almost right away. There was an injured manatee that Tommy monitored and called in to the biologist/rescue to come out. We stuck around and were able to see a 2nd injured manatee that he reported as well. The rescue arrived and he was able to document and start the process. Tommy made our manatee experience so meaningful and enlightening. We highly recommend his tour experience, you won't be disappointed.

What a great experience in this beautiful slice of Florida! Our guide was Tommy. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. We were not rushed. He took his time explaining all the beauty around us. Friendly, experienced. This was well worth it.

Wonderful experience with Tommy. Saw many manatee including a mom and her calf. Water birds and nesting osprey. His knowledge of the area and manatees was deep if you want the "science class" of the manatees this is it! Tommy is engaging and passionate about what he offers. Would highly recommend!

Great way to get some manatees sightings very quickly on foot! Not much walking needed Tommy knows a few spots. We got to see at least one pup and mother. Probably about seven or eight other others. Perfect for us cause we had a grandmother with us that can’t walk too much or get on a boat. 30 minutes was plenty of time. The kids were already to go. He actually stayed a little bit longer as well.

The best money I spent! Tom was very knowledgeable and offered numerous manatee facts—habitat, diet and behaviors, to name a few. He also informed us of the environmental dangers manatees face. It is more fun to watch the manatees with someone who can tell you more about their behavior and spot them as they move. This experience is particularly good for those for who a kayak tour would be strenuous or inaccessible.

This is our family’s 4th trip to Bradenton area. On a whim, I was looking online for some reasonably priced & interesting things to do and came upon this tour. Our guide, Tommy, was very personal and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond, even spending a lot longer than the allotted time, in order to ensure that our family would have a favorable experience. We spotted 8 manatees. My 11-year-old even got close enough to almost touch the gentle giant. She would have touched it if Tommy hadn’t prepared us first to respect the animal and its natural environment. We loved the tour and learned so much new information as well. I would definitely recommend this.
