On My tour with Celeste and captain Todd on 11/06/2026 was amazing. We saw 12-20 manatees in, a sea turtle that was a rare site! Some fish and lots of birds! A great way to get away and enjoy nature. So much fun.

Great staff and willing to teach it all. I went for my open water cert and I felt so comfortable. I will definitely be coming here for future certifications.
This experience was amazing! I got to be inches away from several manatees. I also got to see many beautiful fish. It was my first time snorkeling and it was very easy with a noodle. Our captain, Todd, and our guide Rodney were both very knowledgeable. You can tell that they love their jobs. I would highly recommend this adventure!!!
The whole day was amazing we went swimming with the manatees in the morning and then did a dive of rainbow five after. We saw so much wildlife and our guide got amazing videos for us to remember. This was one of our favorite thing we have done in Florida
Lives up to its name. Excellent experience with a manatee dive on October 8 with pro dive. Staff member Henry was very helpful and friendly. Tour guide Laura was excellent and very knowledgeable. Beautiful area, clear water, prompt departure, great dive shop and very good value. Highly recommended.
Rodney and Jake were awesome, great way to spend the morning.
Met with divemaster Laura and other divers at the shop. Staff insured I had everything I needed gear wise. Other divers as well. Great conversation driving to devils den. Had a small leak with a tank O-ring- easy swap. Great pre dive prep and dive plan safety talk. Great dive! Great people and more conversation on the way back. Felt more like I was diving with family than a stranger. I’ll definitely do it again. Maybe a combo blue grotto AND devils den since thyleyre so close together. Clinton M
Cody was really good with our 10 year old daughter getting certified!
We did the discover scuba diving class and could not have had a better experience. It's was very personal and very professional focused on our learning experience. The instructor took time to personally work with us individually because everyone had a different experience level with snorkeling. So advancing to scuba was unique for each of us. I highly recommend this company.
Steve and Corey were great! Swam with a Manatee and in the Three Sisters area. Affordable and worth the time.
Nice dive with good people and weather
A very nice freshwater dive. Rainbow river is very clear with a gentle current. Had a Cormorant swimming around us at times, saw gars, turtles, and multiple other fish. Staff was friendly, helpful, and helped the trip come off without a hitch. Lasted about an hour.
We had an awesome experience with the best tour guide and captain, Laura and Austin! We would absolutely recommend this to everyone looking for an adventure of a lifetime 😊
amazing experience, very educating as well
Really great experience with Captain Glen and our guide Michelle. It’s summer, so not manatee season, but they make sure to know the spots where you’ll still get an encounter. Got to experience a mother and her little calf grazing. Was a very cool sight and they let us stay with them for 30 minutes while they swam and the baby was curious swimming on each side of her mother to check us out. Then we went to see the spring and swim around for a bit. The gift shop is super cute and you can purchase pictures of your experience.
We had a great time. Our guides were so knowledgeable and made sure we all had an interaction with the manatee since there was just one due to it being in August,, which is out of the manatee season. It was cool to swim in the Three Sisters Spring too. We will be coming back during prime season so we can see and swim with a whole lot more.
We had the best time!! The staff were amazing, and really knew how to find the Manatees. We also saw dolphins, turtles and many types of birds. When we found the Manatees they were in very murky waters. We went in to float with them and it was so hard to see anything. All of a sudden there were Manatees in front of me, or next to me. At one point I had a mama and baby on either side of me. I was soooo cool!! Definitely want to come back here to do this all over again... and again and again!!
Abosuletely recommended! Eventhough in Summer there are fewer manatees on the bay, our guide and captaing made it p ossible for us to find a couple of them and we snorkelled and swam with them. it is an amazing experience to see them. they gave us plenty of time to stay and be around them and also took us snorkelling to clearer waters ina spring nearby. Very informative and acknowledged guide.
This was hands down the best part of our visit to Crystal River. Laura was an absolutely incredible tour guide, and Captain Mike made the whole experience calm and lovely on the boat! Though it isn't the winter season, we still got to swim with a momma and her baby. It was an amazing time! I'd highly recommend!
Exactly as advertised. Great facility and location. Capt was great and the location and wildlife were great
Very knowledgeable, fun guide. Saw lots of Manatees, fish and the the Three Sisters Springs was wonderful
Fantastic experience! The tour guides are the best. They’ll make sure you see a manatee, even in the off -season. :)
This was very organized, and both our Captain Glen and Ross, our Manatee swim guide/expert made this such a memorable amazing experience! While in the water, I kept following what Glen was talking to us, he kept guiding from the boat the entire time and telling us how to do things, where the animals were, and reminded us of how to approach etc! This was such a delight! We also saw a somewhat big snapping turtle!!!! We went to 2 more areas to dive again, including a very secluded spring area by a house that no one really knows about with see through waters. We saw beautiful birds too. I want to come earlier in the year as there will be way more manatees as well. It was 10 of us on the boat, perfect mini group size.
Booking through Viator was an absolute disaster. The first booking was cancelled with NO notice. Luckily I got on the night before to make sure I had the address so I discovered our booking was cancelled. I then booked again and our booking was transfered to another vendor without notice and we ended up having to go to another manatee tour business. We made the boat late because of all of this. The people there said "when you book through a third party app like this they don't provide them your contact information incase anything changes" the manatee tour itself was FANTASTIC!! The captain and tour guide were both amazing humans and very accommodating.
From start to finish this manatee tour did not disappoint. With my parents being locals, I’ve done a few. I was in town visiting at the same time as family from Michigan. We had two that wanted to swim and two older members that just wanted to watch, loved that they accommodated both ( although the price difference wasn’t much). The location is right in the water, in a beautiful building with a clean, well stocked and fair priced gift shop. We were immediately greeted, got waivers signed (might be nice if this could be done in advance online) and allowed to change into swim suits. the facilities were super clean! Our guide (Dani-tee hehe) got us fitted into wet suites (felt like the others I’ve worn w other tours fit me better but everyone else looked great in theirs). After watching about a 10 minute stay video (again, would be nice to complete online in advance esp since it’s just a YouTube video) we got on the boat. Dani had us laughing right away and capt Steve did too. Dani went above and beyond with my little cousin who was scared and almost stayed on the boat, Dani helped her and she LOVED IT. Huge shout out to Dani for that and the great pics! They even came on an adorable manatee flashdrive
Bree - our guide in the water - and Captain Taylor were knowledgeable, funny, and great at finding manatees! They helped everyone in our large group have a great experience and get up close and personal with the manatees at our comfort level. Our little ones decided not to go in, and Taylor entertained them on the boat while we had our time in the water. The trip felt leisurely with plenty of time to float around and really take in the experience. They were very conscious and aware of respecting the manatees and their environment as well. Bree got great photos of our group and the manatees and we even saw a baby and mama eating together during our time in the water. Overall a great experience!
This experience was everything I imagined! The boat captain had a great sense of humor and our guide knew exactly where to find the manatees and move around without disturbing them. There was quite a bit of swimming, but we expected that. We had a great time and definitely would recommend American Pro Diving Center for your manatee adventures.
Super fun! Really good with kids. Tour was a little over three hours long.wetsuits, mask, and snorkel (and hot cocoa) was provided for us. We had so much fun!
It was an amazing experience with Bree and our in water guide and Taylor as our boat tour guide/captain. They were fun and full of knowledge.
Manatee tour was pretty good. Took my 16 year old son with me. American Dive Center was well prepared and knowledgeable of the area. Of course by the end of March the manatees have left the bay and springs however there are still some hanging around. Just not what there would be in say February. Had it been April 1st many more areas would have been also available to search because protected areas would then be open such as near shore lines. Wet suits are a must!! Our leader was right out in the water with us, following the manatees, and guiding us by the arm when we were close, telling us where to look. We even followed a mother and her calf. Water was murky but we could still see them when up close. As much as you would like to touch the manatees, respect them and their space. Advice, take the morning tour as I was told the manatees are more active than in the afternoon. Some people on the tour said they had been out the previous afternoon with no luck. Would definitely go again, maybe earlier in the season though .
It was a great experience and we enjoyed the manatee mocha afterwards. Definitely need the wetsuits to stay afloat and not paddle much and to stay warm. We saw a few manatees and were able to get up close to see them eating, just wish the water was clearer but that’s not something we could have changed!
We had a great time with Bri and Captain Taylor— the dad jokes abounded, the manatee mochas flowed and we saw several sea cows on our trip. For a good time, check out the Manatee Snorkel Tour from American Pro Diving Center!
We had a great day searching for manatees. Our captain Mike would spot them and our guide Ross would find them in the water for us. It was really fun. Would definitely bring others for the experience.
We loved our snorkeling tour! Although it was the end of the season on March 27th, we still saw at least 10 Manatees up close! Ross was a great guide who has been diving for at least 50 years! All the guides with this company are scuba dive masters - so they offer a high level of safety and expertise in the water. Would highly recommend this tour. What a great value for the price!
American Pro Diving was the best tour out there! We consistently found manatees to view and seemed to get to each spot at the perfect time (ahead of other charters and with plenty of time to view on our own without other charters waiting in line). Our tour guides were very personable and knowledgeable. The added touch of having coffee and hot chocolate on board after the cold water was nice as well. Highly recommend APDC for your manatee trip!
Childhood dream come true! I have always loved Manatees, but had never seen one in person - and recently learned you could swim with them! I brought my 4 kids on a long road trip down to Fl for this very experience. Our tour guide, Bri, and Captain Mike took such good us (the hot chocolate was an extra nice touch!). I do want to mention that the water is very green and murky - not at all how it is advertised for being in crystal clear water. However! Having said that, the guides know what they are doing and could track the manatees super well -giving us an excellent opportunity to view them up close and personally. I am so grateful we had the opportunity to do this and would highly recommend it to anyone. Love, love, loved it. Thank you!
We had a hard time seeing many manatees, being that it was the end of their season but we saw a few. They seemed to swim away once we got in the water but Bri and Taylor were great and kept trying different spots for us to get in with them. They even went a little past our time so that we could have some time with the one we saw in the water. Highly recommend going, just maybe a little earlier in the season when there are more manatees out 🙂
Staff was great with the kids ages 4,11 and 13. The 4 year old doesn't swim yet and staff too extra time to make sure that she was comfortable and safe. Everyone said that this was the favorite activity we did in Florida and that says alot.
It was SO MUCH FUN!!! Our guide and captain are very knowledgeable. The wet suits are clean and dry. The boat was clean and well maintained. We were fortunate to see several Manatees including a few mother and babies. One of them came within inches of me. I could have moved my hand just a bit and touched it. Wonderful pics and videos. Getting out of the wetsuit was an experience! 🤣 The only possible negative was my own fault. If u are prone to motion sickness, take some dramamine before u go. I had to stop my adventure early because u MUST float. Feet on the bottom is a no no. I got really sick. My own fault. I forgot I tend to get queezy in the water. It was still well worth the money. Bucket list item for sure.
Bree and Taylor were brilliant guide and captain. Lots of fun and made every effort to make sure we saw manatees even though the timing was unfortunate as they had mainly left the river for the gulf as it warmed. We did manage to see a manatee up close though which was amazing.
It was awsome! Great manatee viewing and swimming . Water is beautiful as well and staff is friendly and knows what they are doing
Had a great experience with Bri and Ryan what great guides. Good value for money and plenty of time in the water. Highly recommended
Dani and Mike took us straight to Kings Bay, which had so many manatee to see. Their expertise and kindness along with their knowledge of the gentle giants made this adventure fantastic.
Bri and Captain Mike were great! They got us up and in early. The temperature outside was have all three of our visitor center things between 40° but that’s exactly what we wanted because it drove the manatees in. So we got into the spring early and we’re there. As the manatees came into the spring, it was amazing. They were all over the place.. our guide Bri, made sure that we were comfortable and told us all about the area. Highly recommend American Pro diving center in Crystal River, my daughters have been forever, changed by the manatees! Thanks, Bri and Captain Mike.
Great experience with a wonderful crew! Captain Mike and our guide Brea were super nice and very helpful. As someone who is frightened of water (but wanted to swim with the manatees) I needed help! Haha. Such a great group - We plan of diving for scallops in the summer!
Wonderful experience, they went above and beyond.
Captain Tyler and Jake did a great job. They made sure everyone had an opportunity to see manatees. They gave an upcclose experience with the manatees and made everyone enjoy themselves and have a wonderful time. The hot chocolate at the end was a great finishing touch.
Early Morning time slot is definitely worth it. We were able to see so many Manatee as well as Mamas & their babies.
Rodney and Captain Mike provided us with an amazing manatee experience!!! Definitely recommend!
The tour guide and captain were AMAZING! Rodney was hilarious and knew so many facts about the manatees! Could not recommend more
