Manatee Discovery Anna Maria Island

What an amazing experience! Ben and Logan were wonderful friendly and knowledgeable guides who made us feel comfortable! They gave great directions when our site changed in order to make it a better experience. We were lucky to see and mom and baby manatee and they made sure to be respectful of the animals and also teach us about them and snap some great memory pictures and videos. They were well prepared with equipment and back up plans for if we didn’t see manatees in the area. The Who experience was beautiful and relaxing and my partner and I will remember it forever. I would highly recommend these guides and tour to anyone!

We had a great tour with Kinsey! Unfortunately the manatees were shy for us but Kinsey provided us with incredible facts about Florida and its wildlife and ecosystems. Afterwards, he gave us the address of a park that often has manatees that we stopped at and saw quite a few! Manatees or not, it was a wonderful kayak tour

Kinsey was an excellent tour guide. He kept things fun and made us laugh. He is very skilled and knowledgeable! My husband and I did the kayak trip as part of our 20 year wedding anniversary trip and it was definitely a highlight. We plan to look into another kayak trip to take our kids on when we come back in the spring!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Manatee Discovery Anna Marie Island kayaking experience. Ben and Colin were our tour guides. Ben contacted us the day before our tour to let us know it was looking like the weather was not going to cooperate with our plans. He offered alternate choices or a refund. We were able to choose another day. The day we went we did not see any manatees BUT we still had a good time! We spent some time on a sand bar finding crabs, huge conch shells and sand dollars. We also came upon a jellyfish that had washed up on the shore! Fortunately, Ben knew just what to do and the jellyfish was soon back in it's happy place. It was a relaxing and refreshing way to spend 2 hours on the water. Ben and Colin were fun to talk with and shared their knowledge about manatees and so much more. Kudos to Ben for reaching out the morning of the tour. He made sure we had the correct directions to our meeting place and let us know we could contact him with any questions.

I was traveling solo on this trip and felt completely at ease with Kinsey, Ben, and the group. It was a really magical experience interacting with so many ocean creatures! We saw two manatees and I came home with a pocket full of cool shells. 10/10! Bringing my husband back to do this again.

Ben and Kinsey were amazing!!! Took us to find sand dollars and shells on a huge sandbar and got us right by a mantee.. they were both very knowledgeable of the local wild life and shared many fun facts..

I went with my mom and daughter to this awesome kayak tour. Our guide Kenzie was very kind, knowledgable and even more patient! We saw so much wildlife, enjoyed the sandbar filled with dolphins and their pups. Never experienced dolphins actually following a tour before, it was so lovely! We ended our tour enjoying the beautiful Sandy beach full of diverse groups of birds and of course manatees 😁 10/10 would do again and recommend high. Kenzie was an excellent guide, very informative of wildlife, and kept the vibe funny and lively!

First off, shout out to Kinsey our guide! He was funny, informative and made sure every individual was having a good time, you never felt lost in the group. We had 4 dolphins (1 baby) follow us almost the entire time! Also saw manatees, turtle nests, all kinds of snorkeling treasures… Kinsey was out there finding shells, sand dollars and crabs for the kids, they loved it! Don’t even hesitate if you’re thinking about this kayak tour, just do it! The beach that we stopped on was gorgeous. This company goes out of their way to check in with you and make sure you enjoyed the activity. Such a rare thing these days. Thanks for such a great time!

The guides were awesome super friendly helped everyone find sand dollars and shells... they were knowledgeable of the wildlife and told facts about them and put us in a great spot to have a mantee swim right in front us!! 10 stars!!

We had a great time with Caulin as our guide. He was helpful and patient with our lack of kayaking skills. He was very informative about the area and wildlife. The sunset was absolutely stunning. The only negative was locating were to meet, but it was quickly solved with a return phone call. Would definitely do again.

We highly recommend this experience! Got to see a bunch of dolphins and peaks of manatees. We were able get out a sand bar to swim as well as stop and see beer can island! Can’t recommend the tour guide, kinsey enough! He was super cool and knowledgeable.

This was a super fun activity, we saw one manatee but our guide let us stop at a few sandbars/islands to make up for it and gave us the name of a park where we could see them on our own time as well. Our guide Kinsey was amazing!! Super fun experience would recommend!

Ben and locklan really made the experience. We saw manatees of course but the knowledge and information Ben was sharing constantly about all the marine life made the whole time very exciting and interesting. Can’t recommend this enough.

Myself and my partner attended the manatee tour this week. We wanted to try something different when visiting the island and kayaking was the perfect thing. We had KINSEY as our tour guide and he was just perfect. He had the best AMI knowledge, was so fun, helpful and ensured we had the best time ever. He informed us on all the local wildlife guidelines and I felt very comfortable with appreciating these beautiful creatures without invading their natural state. The atmosphere was so peaceful but informative and we had plenty of time to sit and appreciate all the beauty around us, not just 2 hours of intense kayaking. Also, you do not have to be skilled or experienced at this activity, I definitely wouldn’t but still loved it. We had the best tour ever and will not forget it. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and would 100% return when visiting the island again. Could not fault one thing. The rest of the team were so welcoming and great but Kinsey was the best guide. If you’re wanting something different but memorable which is not just a $$$ boat ride, I would without a doubt, recommend this company. We are grateful for this experience and wish the team great success.

We went on the guided Manatee tour. We loved hanging out on the sandbar looking for little creatures. We saw several dolphins, including baby dolphins. A manatee swam right by us. Our guide, Ben, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife. He went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend!!

Never before thought of the depth of sea life around me. It was a contagious excitement from our tour guide Ben. He was so knowledgeable and excited to share the world “Under The Sea”. We literally had every experience I was hoping for; Dolphins, Manatees to spider crabs, blue crabs, fish of all colors, and sand dollars just to name a few. I highly recommend.

This was a fabulous trip with 6 experiences rolled into 1, kayaking, manatee and dolphin spotting, mangroves and the sand bar and marine life. Lochlan was a fantastic guide, very engaging and knowledgeable about the local ecosystems and marine life. A superb experience.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience today, 8/29! Kinsley was our tour guide and reviewed everything we needed to know before leaving, kept the group close, and recognized when we needed a break. We saw several manatees and a few dolphins! Such a great experience!!! I highly recommend!!

One of the best tours we have done as a family! Our tour guides, Ben and Lachlan were amazing! It was a true adventure and the answered every question to a marine biologist level!! We saw dolphins and Lachlan found our group a manatee! This was definitely the keynote of the trip!! I highly suggest Ben and Lachlan as your tour guides, they did a phenomenal job!!

Andrew was our tour guide and he killed it. He always kept the conversation going, is very knowledgeable and has some good jokes. The tour itself was fun as well. Unfortunately we had some severe weather about halfway through our guide, but Andrew kept calm and escorted us back to the drop in safely and efficiently. We were offered a half refund or another tour tomorrow for the trouble. Unfortunately this is our last day in town so we took the half refund. 10/10 would recommend. We will come back next time we visit!

Our booked tour was cancelled due to adverse weather, but it was well communicated and offered options to reschedule, which we did without issue for the next day. Lachlan was our tour guide and got us set up with our Kayaks and equipment. He was very friendly and put everyone at ease, including those who had little or no experience of Kayaking. We had a great time exploring the area and unfortunately we were not lucky enough to see any dolphins or Manatee, but Lachlan did take us to many areas to look. We also visited the beautiful beer can island and another area where we could get out of the Kayaks, have a swim and see some other marine life such as a spider crab and conch, which Lachlan found to show us. Lachlan was extremely knowledgeable on the area and wildlife, sharing some very interesting information as we went. Post tour he also shared a location which we visited later that day and got to see many wild manatee. 5 star tour and experience. Would recommend.

Great guides and a fun and beautiful excursion. We didn't see any Manatees but we did see a dolphin up close so that was really neat. The area is really pretty and we thoroughly enjoyed it. After the tour, the guides told us where to go to see Manatees and one of the guides went there to make sure we knew what to do. There were about 10 of them there so, in the end, we got to see our manatees!

I would highly recommend this tour! It was a 2-hr tour but our guides spent an extra 1/2 hour with us because a group of manatees swam around our kayaks! Ben and Calling were wonderful, spending a lot of time explaining about the sea life we saw. Don’t miss this kayak tour!

We didn’t see a manatee but really enjoyed paddling across the bay, up a canal with mangroves and to an island for a walk. All in all a very good experience and our guide Lacklan was very informative and kind.

We had a wonderful excursion with Ben and Colin! Meet up was easy, they are both so friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy giving us the tour. They were engaging and knowledgeable about both the area and the marine wildlife. My kids had so much fun holding the various creatures found in the sandbar area we went to. They held crabs, live sand dollars, snails, an adorable little starfish, plus other things I can’t remember! It was so fun. They even stayed out with us longer when we were in a spot that had a few manatees swimming around for us to spend some time watching them swim under and around us and coming up for air. They were so excited for us to get to see the manatees and they really made it such an enjoyable experience! We would absolutely recommend taking this tour and would 100% return again in future trips to the area!

Ben was the best tour guide ever! We had an amazing kayak tour. We stopped at Beer Can Island then kayaked back. At the island, we saw FOUR manatees and a sea turtle. Ben was so knowledgeable about the local wildlife and answered all of our questions. Best trip ever!

We had the best time! Our guide, Kinsey, was patient, funny and knowledgeable. Blaze and Emmitt were super friendly and did a great job corralling all 24 of us. They worked hard to ensure we saw manatees and had a great time. I’m looking forward to kayaking the sunset tour with them next time. We had an amazing kayaking experience! We got to see dolphins and manatees up close, which made the trip so memorable. We also stopped and walked around a beautiful sandbar, which was such a fun addition to the adventure. The whole experience was relaxing, exciting, and absolutely worth it. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun day on the water!

Truly the best experience of our trip , guides were so funny and you could tell how much they loved and respected the Manatees and all of the nature there. Gave us so many fun facts about the various animals in the area also. Price was well worth it !!!!
