Cam was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable! Saw several dolphins too.

I had so much fun on this tour! Cameron was truly the best. His incredible knowledge about the marine life and pointing out the different species made the experience even better. Make sure to book with him! If you look closely you’ll find your skincare in the water 🤭
The Tour guide did not communicate at all it was more of get in and paddle we went through weird paths eventually couldn't even paddle anymore had to grab branches to get through spiders bugs we got lost had to find her she wouldn't answers no questions I learned nothing
This was a good paddle trip. We got to watch some very active manatees, had dolphins swim close by, and saw lots of other wildlife. Cameron was very informative and friendly. Kayaks and equipment were in excellent condition. This is a recommended experience.
Great experience. My kids and I had the best time. We seen an alligator too. It is worth going on and our tour guide was amazing!
Great price! Great experience!
Really good experience with knowledgeable and well-prepared guide. We really appreciated the extras of water, sunscreen, mosquito repellent. First class
We had a great experience and the wildlife was amazing.
I went with my son and they were about eight others in our timeslot. It’s August and it’s hot and humid out. Our guide was the low light of the experience. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what, but she came off as plain rude and scary. I would absolutely not do this experience again with this company or her again. First of all, we could barely hear her throughout the whole trip. At the beginning, when she was giving instructions, we were right next to a factory, and it was so loud that everybody had a lean in and even then it was difficult to hear her. When it was time to get into the kayak, I hesitated because I wasn’t sure if I had heard the instructions correctly so I asked her and she just looked right through me for a good 15 seconds without saying anything before another customer told me what to do. And the look that she gave me was pretty much telling me that I was stupid or hadn’t listened to her. Now, during the experience, most of the time we were just following her with a few pit stops inbetween to tell us about things but most could not hear her. There was zero instruction or tips on how to kayak so it was obvious who the newcomers were to this activity. Instead of being helpful or understanding to those who have never kayaked before, the guide made it clear that she was annoyed if you were unable to control your kayak at any point during the experience. One of the customers had to maneuver around the guide while she was giving instruction because her kayak was simply floating in the wrong direction and the guide stopped talking, made it clear through her body language that she was again annoyed, and only continued when the customer came back around. It was really uncalled for and made everybody in the group uncomfortable. Now I work in the customer service field (30+ years), and her customer service was absolutely nonexistent. The funniest part is at the end of the experience, she had the audacity to ask for tips!!! My tip for her is to be more customer service friendly because she was not at all friend friendly and that made the whole experience sour.
Stephen and Kate are exceptionally kind humans who take their job of hosting visitors seriously. They are both very knowledgeable about the area animals and history. They’re respectful to wildlife, shutting down the boat when manatee were near and taking every measure to be safe, respectful of Florida residents living in the area, and making sure guests had a great time.
The guide was great. He gave thorough instructions on kayaking. He also explained what to do if there was an accident. I would definitely book with them again.
The guide (Erin) was not friendly at all. She refused to answer questions in a pretty rude tone, and her voice was so soft, no one could hear anything while on the water. She also seemed to just paddle on her own, not waiting for anyone. We were on our own mostly, trying to catch up. The scenery is beautiful, but a tour guide should be friendly and loud by definition.
I enjoy kayaking so being on the water is always a joy, as our tour guide Aerin came off as rude the very start of the adventure witch was paperwork. She would snach the paper from you like she had better things to do then wait for you to hand her the documents but she was full of information when She chose to speak. That being said the guide was silent most the tour. It seemed very prompted almost when she did stop the 2 times she did. She did not check on the any of the kayaking family's. Who fell behind and seemed to be struggling. We did see wild life witch is always a site to see and enjoyable, i recommend kayaking for all who are considering it but maybe not with Aerin to start. Having the right guide makes such a difference and makes the tour enjoyable or not.
It was a great experience, Dan was very knowledgeable and had a lot of great information. He also was willing to answer questions! Great time!
The trip itself was pretty nice. The lagoon is a beautiful place and it's always nice to be out there. I was really disappointed with the tour guide. She wasn't loud enough for anybody to hear, she tried to have a sense of humor but no one thought she was funny, and I was able to pick out more wildlife then she pointed out.. she was incredibly soft-spoken and very scatterbrained... she was all over the place in the things she was saying. we didn't see much wildlife but I kind of expected that because it was extremely hot out.. and you can't fault the company for not finding wildlife.. but overall I went on a tour instead of going out with my nephew on my own kayaks because I was hoping the tour guide would keep him entertained better than I could and it failed in that respect..
This is a great kayak tour for everyone. There is plenty of time from when you enter the water to learn how to navigate the kayak if you have never been in one before. I had an 8 year old in the front of the tandem kayak just along for the tour and had no problems maneuvering the kayak by myself. Dan the tour guide was great and answered any and all questions that we had
Lot’s of wildlife, dolphins at play, mosquitoes in the mangroves, easy paddle. Tour guide was not acknowledging any questions and if she did she did, she was short with a response.
It was a fun paddling day. We got to see manatees, pelicans and I had a dolphin swim right under me. Erin and Ethan did a great job.
Cameron was the best tour guide. He has so much knowledge and experience of the area and marine life. We didn’t get to see as much wildlife as we had hoped but it was still a great experience. We would definitely recommend it and hope to get a chance to go again.
You’re guided through mangrove river and tunnels and it is very much a guided tour not a constant tour. There are some moments the tour guide will explain things otherwise you’re pretty much constantly kayaking through and around the area. It’s beautiful and the wildlife and views are abundant. Definitely not a super interactive tour but the whole point is to see the preserve and the wildlife! Sunscreen your legs big time, it gets very sunny and hot.
It’s was a beautiful day, we saw manatees, the wild birds, flying fish, no dolphins but you can control the wild life. Our tour guide was very nice and very helpful. I would 10/10 do it again
The weather was gorgeous and our guide was excellent. The guide had the kayaks and paddle boards down at the water when we arrived and he quickly got us going. He was very careful about safety, making certain we stayed out of the way of other marine craft on the water which was greatly appreciated. He located spoonbills, dolphins, and manatees. I had been doubtful, but was determined to simply enjoy my time on the water when I was pleasantly surprised. Our guide knew his stuff! He knows the habits and nature of the wildlife and was able to locate them and tell us a little about each.
Kayaking through the mongrove trees were cool but our guide was very soft spoken and not personable. We only saw 1 manatee and it was at a distance. When we started to kayak closer, we were told to leave room.
We had the best guide! She was so knowledgeable and exuded confidence as she guided us in our kayaks through mangroves and the waters of the estuary. We
The guide did not start on time and left us waiting an hour. It was confusing and only done we asked questions in the beginning. We did not see any fish or wildlife.
While the mangroves were super awesome and we were able to see dolphins, jumping fish, and pelicans…our guide was honestly disappointing. As soon as we arrived the interactions with her were very strange and she didn’t ever seem to want to answer our questions. She did a good job finding wildlife and had a lot of facts, but she spoke so quietly it was almost impossible to hear her. It wasn’t the upbeat experience we were hoping for.
It was paddling with a few pelicans.
Our experience with this tour was average. Pros: We did see a manatee at the very end. It was actually very cool. We also saw a lot of wildlife such as jellies and birds. It was also very nice to learn about the environmental problems in the area and how human activity creates these problems. Mangroves were cool too! Location to take the tour was very nice and easily accessible with car. We also received safety instructions and paddling instructions. Overall our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The country club also has restrooms that you can use after your kayaking adventure. Cons: Our tour guide was way too quiet! I can understand it is probably not to scare the wildlife but we could barely hear her. She also did not wait for us in the Mangrove Tunnels and just continued paddling and did not look back. We lost her for a bit in the Mangrove Tunnels because we were stuck in the Mangroves. She did not come back to look for us. We shouted her name at one point and she did not respond. Luckily we found her but we were a bit afraid until we eventually found her. Probably she was calm about it because she knew that it is hard to get lost there, but it was scary for us. Also, the website says bug spray sunscreen and water bottles are provided but they were not for our group (it was provided for the other group that was there at the same time as us) Overall, except for nearly getting lost, it was awesome! Make sure you stay close to the tour guide and do your best to not get stuck in the tunnels. You will be fine. Do not forget sunscreen, bug spray and hats. The nature is amazing there.
The mangrove was lovely. We were all experienced kayakers and liked the water experience, although this day we saw little wildlife. 3 in our party and 3 others. We’d had one excellent prior experience with a terrific guide. This one was terrible! She never introduced herself, did not look at us as she droned on in a whisper with very tight instructions of dos and don’ts. The tour was 45 minutes late leaving. When asked a question she did not acknowledge us. No personality or awareness of people to be in this position. The others also said she took any fun out of it. I am sorry to report this.
Outfitter was Cocoa Beach X Y. Just 2 hours of paddling. Guide spoke in quiet monotone that only kayak closest could ever hear. No water or sunscreen offered as advertised. Just a waste of time. Would have been better just renting kayaks.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable but was very quiet and you could not hear anything she was saying. Was not super friendly or personable. We did get to see one dolphin. The tour was pretty relaxed.
Erin was our guide and did a very good job in showing, sharing, and explaining all the beautiful mangroves, wildlife, and creatures that inhabit the area. We used single kayaks for the tour, and it is so much easier to navigate through the tight mangroves. Would definitely do this again!
Not a single dolphin or manatee on this tour. Going in the tree tunnels was a unique experience but not what we were looking for.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We didn’t wind up seeing any dolphins or manatees, but the kayaking was great and a lot of fun! Great to be outdoors!
Erin was knowledgeable and patient with us first timers. She kept is informed about our surroundings.
Tour guide was fine. Didn't see any dolphins or manatees. Only dead fish and pelicans. Was told come back in summer if wanted to see manatees. Now is the time they are supposed to be bunched up. Thoroughly disappointed with tour.
We have only kayaked a couple of times previously but this was an enjoyable experience and a good physical workout. It includes some open water rowing but also some interesting maneuvering through mangrove trees. We saw dolphins and a variety of birds but no manatee. Our guide gave kayaking instructions before we got into our kayak. She seemed quite knowledgeable about the area but spoke in an “indoor” voice which was hard for us to hear. But it. Is a nature preserve so one doesn’t want to disturb the wild life with loud noise I guess,
We did not see any dolphins or manatees. Very disappointed. Our guide was nice and it was not her fault, just would have been nice to have a heads up prior to going that it’s not the season for them right now. We paid $100 to see dead fish and birds….
The kayaking experience was great and the scenery was beautiful. Our tour guide Erin was very knowledgeable but seemed to be having an off day. She was not personable with us and seemed like we were an inconvenience right from the get go. We got to see a dolphin and a couple people in our group thought they saw a manatee. Other than our own giggling within our group with kids, we didn’t feel like we could have fun based on the mood of our guide. We were hoping to have more a focus on the wildlife and received more dialogue on political extreme environmentalist views that put a damper on the overall vibe. There were times we asked questions and were ignored completely. We hope this was a one off unfortunate experience for us and not the norm for all. Erin did do a great job with providing safety instructions and had she been more kind and her mood been better, her jokes would have been funny.
Cameron was a great guide. He checked in the morning of our trip to confirm and ask how many single/double kayaks our group wanted. He's very personable and knowledgeable about the wildlife with a background in biology and experience working with wildlife management. It was an easy paddle across the river and the path through the mangroves was fun. Would love more of that. Nothing felt rushed.
It was a great trip. We would go back again. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke the appropriate amount. Not too chatty like some tour guides.
We didn’t see any manatees but did see a dolphin. It was fun going through the different mangrove canals. The only issue was our guide was very knowledgeable, but spoke so softly we could hardly hear her. Even when we asked her to speak up or repeat things it was a very hard to hear so unfortunately, we missed almost everything she had to say.
Great experience! We thoroughly enjoyed being in nature and learning about the ecosystem of the Indian River Lagoon. Awesome
We had a great time! It was a gorgeous day and a great trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gracious. We loved the paddling the mangroves. Awesome trip at a great price.
They give you wet bags and have water for you! Great for beginners but they are some difficult spot where some people took there paddles apart to get threw tight spots
Great trip with Erin, very knowledgeable and patient. She jumped into the water to grab a spider crab to show us! Saw a dolphin family that swam all around our kayaks. No manatees today but I guess that’s the season.
Excellent! Our guide was delightful, casual, flexible, professional, knowledgeable. It's helpful to know how to kayak but doesn't have to be perfect! He was also patient. We saw lots of beautiful birds, and some dolphin play. He also explained a lot about the mangroves and their great value.
I found the guide very knowledgeable and helpful . He spoke with confidence about the birds and dolphins we saw. He led the group on a leisurely paced paddle. He expanded his information to include manatees and the formation of the nature reserve. The meeting place directions were right on and water we got the safety talk we were off. We saw dolphins, both mother and babies and male dolphins hunting. We went through mangrove tunnels, that was cool. The guide helped a novice paddler with tips to make the paddle more enjoyable. Overall the tour checked all my expectation boxes. Use this service.
Fantastic day on the water and in the mangroves. Cameron was an excellent guide mixing knowledge of the ecosystem and wildlife with humor. We had beautiful weather and high level of dolphin activity, coming very close to our kayaks. Very laid back, but also professionally run excursion.
Didn't see many marine animals but they are wild animals and that can't be helped. Our guide was great! He was very knowledgeable, knew the area, and what he was doing It was a lot of fun!
