Captain Dallas was knowledgeable and friendly and went out of his way to accommodate us. Perfect tour for us.

Itinerary
The boat tour begins in the Port of the Island's Harbor where we will safely observe manatees up close in their natural habitat. As we head south down the Faka Union Canal through the Everglades, we will see alligators and birds amongst the mangroves.
It is a 45 minute boat ride through the Everglades out to the 10,000 Islands. The dolphins enjoy playing in our wake! We beach the boat on an uninhabited island for some shelling and beach time. Enjoy swimming or a picnic in white sand and pristine water. This is the best wildlife adventure to see Florida's natural eco system, the Everglades and the 10,000 Islands!

Our captain gave us the most spectacular dolphin experience ever! He got the dolphins to 'play' with us 3 separate times with 4 dolphins jumping in our wake for so long. It was truly unbelievable and made me feel like a little kid! I was literally jumping up and down clapping. I can't remember his name, but he took out just my friend and I for the 10am trip on the 13th.
This experience was the best! Our guide tried as hard as he could to find manatees and dolphins, we were able to see both! When looking for shells, we got to enjoy the water for a little bit also. Our guide shared lots of stories and answered lots of questions. Would highly recommend this trip!!
Fantastic trip, nice small group size and the guide was very knowledgeable. Perfect length in the summer heat.
Captain Dallas was the best. The boat was nice and shaded for the hot weather. We saw three manatees, then went out into the Everglades and saw lots of dolphins. He even got one of them to play with the wake behind the boat. He was kind with my special-needs daughter and explained to her personally the area and the animals. He also gave us valuable information about Marco Island and restaurants and Everglades information. It’s a must do!
Captain was great! Very knowledgeable. We saw both dolphins and manatees. It was nice that is was a small boat and not a big crowded one.
Captain ed was a nice guy! Down to earth and knowledgeable. We saw beautiful FL Everglades and its’s wildlife…
Very small group tour - max 6 per boat which is fabulous. Covered boat protection was so valuable in the hot sun. Be sure to have drinks and maybe a snack with you especially if you have kids. Our captain, Joe, was really knowledgeable and knew exactly where to look for alligators - the dolphins and manatees were a little more elusive but he knew exactly when a pair of dolphins were going to play in our wake - and they did! That was a short but magical moment and will stay with me for a long time to come as my first close encounter with dolphins. We did see some manatee “footprints” - circles of bubbles on the water surface but no actual manatees - but that’s nature for you - they don’t come out on command! Plenty of osprey and ibis, as well as a blue heron and an egret. Can highly recommend this trip - went by all too quickly.
We had some friends coming down from Illinois, and they wanted to go on a "swamp boat" ride to see some alligators. After hours of researching the Many companies that offer this Adventure. I decided to try out Manatee Sightsee And Wildlife Adventure. (Even though they were a 1&1/2 hour drive from our home in South Miami). We opted to take the "3 hour tour"... kind of ominous, Gillian's Island :) We were given the Honor of being assigned to Captain Becky. As you will see in the pictures that I took, Captain Becky found what we were looking for. When she tells you to be on the lookout for Dollphins, look far and wide. I saw some jumping in the distance and the next thing I knew Captin Becking was circling them and getting them to swim and jump in our wake. We had one Dolphin breaching the water and looking at us while he was in the air. Pretty Cool :) Video tape them swimming next to the boat and then screenshot them jumping out of the water later when you are back at home. (Captain Becky taught me this) We also got some Great pictures of some Alligator's and a few of the Manatees. But we really enjoyed our time shelling on one of the 10,000 Islands. We each came home with a Large bag of shells. So the drive was Definitely worth it for us! Now the price for the 3 hour tour might give you sticker shock at first. $129.99. But if you do the research like I did, you will find out that the other companies want $80 or more just to go out and look for alligators for only 1 hour! I would suggest getting 5 of your friends or Family members (6 total) to book a 3-hour tour with Captain Becky, so you can have the boat to yourself. Don't forget to bring a cooler with drinks and snacks with you. You Will Have a Great Time :)
Becky is an excellent captain. She is knowledgeable and more importantly lets her group choose their trip experience. She asks where the greatest interest is. We also appreciate we had a special request that the company granted.
Great oppertunity to see the surroundings from the water and get some more Information about the Wildlife. Great Captain
Absolutely worth the money. We did the three hour tour (no Gilligans island here) Captian Becky was amazing and made sure we saw all the animals. She took time to share her knowledge and stories. We left with some amazing pictures, videos and most importantly, memories.
The people who were in charge were very accommodating . We were sick the day we were supposed to go and they rescheduled for us
Be sure to bring your own water. The store is closed until maybe June. Very nice to be on the water! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
This is a family owned business that will go the extra mile to make your trip the best ever! We took the 3 hour tour and the teenagers loved being on the island. Shelling, swimming and hanging from tree branches over the water for Instagram pics was quite the success! Highly recommend this company!
Fantastic family owned business that gives you everything you would want on a tour. We did the 3 hour tour and the teenagers loved it. They had a blast on the island, shelling, swimming and taking pictures hanging from trees over the water! Highly recommended!
This excursion was amazing, we saw all the animals we wanted to see, dolphin, manatees, alligators and even a shark. It exceeded our expectations, the dolphins were even playing with the waves of the boat. We didn’t expect to see them from this close !
Our Captain (John) was most knowledgeable and entertaining. Every nature tour is to.some.extent luck but we managed to see all the creatures advertised.and more. Truly enjoyable.and affordable. Mill
Captain Becky gave us a delightful tour. She is knowledgeable about all the wildlife and the ecosystem. We had dolphins playing in our boat wake, saw all sorts of creatures including a sea rabbit, a type of slug, on the beach. The cover on the boat kept us from getting sunburnt, and Captain Becky provided polarized clip-on lenses for our cell phones, which made for some great photos. This trip was a highlight of our four days in Naples.
We had a great time with Captain Ed! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. With his help we were able to see alligators, manatees, and dolphins. We also loved exploring and looking for shells on the island! With the perfect weather and gorgeous views, it was a wonderful day!
We had a great time with Captain Ed. It was a beautiful day for a boat ride and we were able to see Manatees, alligators, birds and a small pod of dolphins. We liked walking the white sand beach looking for seashells too! A wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend this excursion.
We had a great time with Captain Becky and would happily do the tour again on a return trip. We did a 3-hour total boat trip that included searching for manatees and then alligators in the area near the marina, then motoring out into the mangrove islands to look for dolphins and stop at an island for some shelling. By far my favorite part was the dolphins. Captain Becky found three dolphins and they followed our boat, jumping in the wake for a good 10 minutes. It was really fun to see them jumping and splashing, especially because they seemed to be having just as good of a time as we were. She said they generally will follow if you happen to be going the way they want to go anyway, and indeed when we turned around they only followed for a minute or so before doing one final huge jump out of the water and turning back. The manatees were cool to see in person, but the water was very murky and we only got a brief glimpse when they came up for air. We also saw a few alligators that were getting some sun, and lots of birds. The turnaround spot was an island (probably White Horse Key from looking at a map) with about 30 minutes for shelling. It was nice to stop and walk around a bit, but the shells were pretty underwhelming. I don't know if we came at high tide or if it was just a bad day. Captain Becky was fantastic, really knowledgeable and helpful. She was great with our kids (ages 5 and 9) and made the experience fun.
Our captain, Wes, did all he could do to make sure we had wildlife encounters! We did see manatees, alligators and had a spectacular (unexpected) dolphin feeding frenzy! He maneuvered our boat every which way to allow us the best views. He was super patient with questions and explained different nature facts. I totally would recommend this tour to everyone!
A worthwhile tour. Our Captain Becky was knowledgeable and eager to answer questions and share information. Unfortunately, the wildlife was in short supply. We did see a few gators lazing in the sun, a couple of hard to spot manatees, and a couple stray dolphins, before we stumbled on a pod of three as we headed back. Alas, they could not be coaxed into following the boat. Plenty of miscellaneous birds and three osprey nests on the tour. You can never be sure if you will hit the jackpot on wildlife, but it is worth a shot. At the least, you get nice views of the Everglades.
Wonderful afternoon exploring the water! Captain Chris was entertaining and safe. He knew many facts. We saw manatees, dolphin, an alligator, and many birds. We even found a live conch on the beach! Lovely time!
We went out with Captain Becky and she got us to see everything! Manatees, dolphins, bull sharks, ospreys, all kinds of heron and egrets too. A great trip and well worth it!
Captain John was great! He regaled us with all sorts of amusing anecdotes.😂 He delivered manatees, dolphins, all kinds of birds, and shells. Lots of fun!
We took the Manatee, Dolphin and 10,000 Islands Beach Eco-Tour with Captain Becky and had a fabulous time. The tours max at 6 people so there is plenty of room to see everything and enjoy the ride. Captain Becky has the eyes of an eagle and pointed out all the bird species we passed and was able to spot the elusive Manatee. We could not find the dolphins at first but Captain Becky was determined and we finally found them and watched as they played in our wake. We then went on the hunt for an alligator and once again Captain Becky came through for us. The other group on our boat was from overseas and had never experienced the South Florida wildlife and were beyond thrilled we were able to locate these amazing creatures. Captain Becky came through in a big way. Highly recommend this tour.
John was a fantastic captain and tour guide. He made the trip extremely enjoyable. I would definitely recommend you take this tour with John.
Nice tour saw Manatee several dolphin pods lots of birds and a couple alligators. Captain was knowledgeable and assisted with my bird obsession to allow pix and help identify them
Nothing eco about this tour. Guide was bloody useless and spent his time trying to impress another couple from Texas by going fast in the boat and narrowly missing some poor people out fishing. Chased dolphin relentless to try and get them to perform like a circus act for 40mins. Idiot. Definitely not for nature lovers, maybe people who have never seen a manatee or care about nature!
We had a great time on this tour. Captain Wes was great at spotting so many different wildlife. He knew my sister liked birds and made an effort to point them all out. We had a fabulous experience with dolphins playing in the boat waves and we saw numerous manatees. The boat ride out through the Everglades was so nice as well. We greatly enjoyed this experience.
Everything went fabulous n our Captain was great. He had a lot of knowledge and we enjoyed talking with him during our Tour. We saw a couple Manatee but I wished we saw more than that during our trip.
Captain Patrick was great! Nice guy and knowledgeable about the area. If you're looking for some shells, I recommend bringing a snorkel, as most of the ones on the beach are broken up, but there were some nice ones in the water!
Perfectly sedate however frustrating as the skipper needed his sat nav and it felt like a trip to an island and then back again rather than an eco nature tour. The boat was hoping to see dolphins and happy to spend less time on the very hot island but the skipper didn’t use any initiative. Shame rally as could have been better.
This boat tour was amazing. Captain Wes was fun and knowledgeable. He has an eagle eye for spotting the marine life! My husband, our 2 adult daughters, and I had a great time. We did the afternoon tour (our 20-year-olds were not waking up for the morning tour!), so we knew it might be less likely to see a lot of the wildlife, but we saw plenty. We spotted a ton of manatees, several sharks, loggerhead turtles, blue herons, and two enormous rays dancing under the water. The highlight of our trip was when Captain Wes spotted 2 pods of dolphins and was able to get them to play in the wake of our boat, after they swam right up to the side of our boat! We found lots of interesting shells on the little island that we visited for about 45 minutes. I can't say enough about Captain Wes and this boat tour. A+++
We had an absolutely incredible time on our tour. Captain Wes was extremely nice and friendly, with a deep knowledge of the local wildlife. He went out of his way to really make our trip memorable. We got to see manatees and sharks, herons and loggerhead turtles. Even spotted rays dancing underwater! The island for shelling was beautiful, and we were able to come home with a nice size plastic baggie of beautiful shells. Our daughters had an amazing time, and we were able to get allot of amazing photos. The highlight was definitely watching the dolphins swim along side the boat and frolic in the wake of the boat, flipping, dancing and surfing for almost 5 minutes. I literally cannot recommend this tour enough. Everything was taken care of, and Captain Wes went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable and could easily get on and off the boat, even with bad knees and a bad ankle. Finally i have to heap all the praise I can on Captain Wes. He was absolutely the best Captain we have ever had, and he went out of his way to make sure we had an absolutely amazing time. He has a keen eye for spotting water life, and knows where to go to find them. A+++
Wes was a great captain! We were blessed to see lots of wildlife on this particular day. Manatees, Dolphins, Bull Sharks and a variety of birds Wes made the effort to ensure that we knew the plan had time to observe wildlife and explore He still gets excited to see all of the wildlife like it’s his first time right along with us!
The people disembarking as we arrived were very enthusiastic about “seeing everything”, so we excited to board. Our group of four adults were the only passengers on the boat, which was nice. On our boat ride, which was lovely through the 10,000 Islands, we saw the noses of two manatees and we saw two dolphins who played in the wake of the boat. We also saw two egrets in the trees. Our captain, Wes, was very knowledgeable about the area, and was friendly. The beach was nothing remarkable, was obviously used by several tour boats and individuals and had the usual collection of mostly broken shells. We understand that touring wildlife areas is up to chance as what you might see. Maybe another time of day or another time of year we might see more.
This experience was extremely disappointing. We chose the 3-hour tour, but the majority of it was spent slowly cruising near residential docks by the marina, hoping to spot a manatee—which we never did. After that, we sped for nearly an hour to a small island, where the captain gave us orders and told us we only had 15 minutes to explore before rushing us back at full speed again, still chasing the unlikely sight of a manatee. The captain talked incessantly, giving unnecessary instructions—including how to apply sunscreen—and wouldn’t stop insisting that we all wear polarized sunglasses. It felt intrusive and uncomfortable. Despite our efforts to politely disengage and enjoy a bit of quiet, the captain continued to dominate the experience. For the price we paid, this was absolutely not worth it.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Captain Ed was the nicest, most interesting and genuine man. He managed to orchestrate dolphins swimming alongside us. He is a Legend!!
This excursion was every bit worth the money! Myself and my two teenagers LOVED it! We saw everything they said we would, and the island we were dropped off at was so beautiful!!! We could’ve stayed there all day! Wes was fantastic and we had lots of fun with him! Highly recommend!!!
The 3hr Safari started with Captain Wes enticing us with the possibilities of seeing Manatees, Gators, Dolphins and bird life. Not 10minutes in and we see our first manatees surfacing close to one of the home boat docks! Another 10minutes and at a 4way intersection Captain Wes explains what to look for on the water surface that is the “manatee footprint”. Sure enough we see some more coming towards us! We have a thrilling ride out through the islands to the Gulf to visit a beach and on the way we are delighted to have some dolphins join us for some playtime in the boats wake. We spent 45min on the island searching for some shells and spotting more bird life. The trip back was a speedy one which halted abruptly when another manatee footprint was spotted by Captain Wes. We waited and sure enough up popped a mum and baby! We had a lovely time and enjoyed the company of our fellow travellers on the boat and Captain Wes who explained what it’s like to live through multiple hurricanes….
Captain Brian gave us a great tour! We had dolphins following us and jumping in our wake, which made my day! Highly recommend!
Be careful in case the pilot suddenly accelerates. No toilet on the boat so go before boarding or during the stop on White Horse Key.
False advertising. Experience should be called Everglades nature tour on pontoon!! There were no dolphins. Saw 2 manatees and 1 alligator. Extremely disappointing. This definitely needs to be renamed!! Would like a refund!
Captain Ed was funny and knowledgeable. We saw all sorts of wildlife and had a wonderful time. Fortunately Mother Nature cooperated for this trip.
If I could give this 100 stars, I would. We had Captain Wes. He was super patient with our kiddo with autism. We saw a crocodile, multiple alligators, two manatees, and dolphins. We went to a gorgeous island with tons of shells. Captain Wes knew where all the good places were. The boat was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Captain Wes was knowledgeable about the local eco-system. It was just a spectacular excursion.
This experience was very fun. We got to see many animals that we were promised to see, and they did not disappoint! My kids age 12 and 10 loved it. From the fast winds to the dolphins jumping up and down, everything was good. And we also got to go to an island and pick up shells and snorkel. This is a must try experience, at least for my family.
We had a great time Captain Dallas was very knowledgeable. Saw lots of manatees, alligators and dolphins . The time on Horseshoe Key shelling was our granddaughter’s favourite part of trip Done trip with all our grandchildren and always a highlight for them Highly recommend
