Skye was a great guide. The trip was awesome being able to see dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, etc… Was my first time kayaking and would definitely recommend this tour. Had a great time!

We had an amazing time on the pedal kayak tour with Skye. He was informative, helpful and funny and very patient, especially with my 10 year old who he pulled along at times when she got tired. We switched to the pedals through the mangroves as it was too shallow for the pedals, which was a whole new experience, ducking under the branches and looking at the wildlife. Highly recommend tour.

Skye is an excellent guide, working well with both the experienced and less experience Kayakers. He is knowledgeable about the wildlife and has excellent observation skills to find the wildlife. It was relaxed, fun, and interesting. We would go again!

We had an amazing kayak tour from Lido Key and the mangrove tunnels! Our guide, Sky, was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and relaxing. One of the highlights was seeing the manatee, which was such an unforgettable experience. Paddling through the mangrove trails was beautiful, and Sky shared interesting information about the local wildlife and ecosystem along the way. Whether you’re visiting Sarasota or you’re a local looking for an adventure, I highly recommend this tour. The scenery was stunning, the wildlife was incredible, and Sky made it a truly memorable experience. Five stars!

Sky was a wonderful tour guide. Super down to earth and friendly. Very informative without bombarding us with information. He showed us all sorts of sea creatures and flora. He really helped my daughter who got a little over heated at the end of the tour. Highly recommend going on his tour!!!

Had a great time out on the water, going through mangrove tunnels, and swimming at a sand bar. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and communicated everything we needed to know clearly.

Expirence was amazing! It was definitely worth my time. The padle kyaks made the expirence more pleasurable and a great work out with easy instructions and we had everything to keep us safe.Skye was so much fun he was a very nice person and went above and beyond to make our experience worth it. He even risked catching a stone crab and 1 point crab 0 skye because he got a good pinch. He showed us beautiful sites and was determined to meet our needs in finding different animals. No luck finding any manatees, but saw dolphins, birds, crabs, and different assortment of fish. I highly recommend his tour!

Skye (our guide) was personable and knowledgeable. He did an excellent job explaining everything we were doing/looking at. The whole experience was fun, involved a lot of laughing, and we even got to learn some new things. He had a willingness to quench our curiosities and went out of his way to make the most of our time. Pedal kayaking was a fantastic experience that does require a bit of leg work, but I felt wasn’t as taxing as traditional kayaking would have been. I highly recommend booking with Liquid Blue Outfitters. You won’t be disappointed and the experience far exceeds the cost. We will definitely be booking again for our next trip.

What a great experience it was like our own private tour as there was only us two. We was out for 3 wonderful hours with the very knowledgeable Skye showing us all the wildlife. We spotted manatees, dolphins, a shark, lots of fish and birds. The 3 hours went by quickly. This was our first time and Skye was very patient telling us what we needed to do. We stopped at a sandbar to cool off but the breeze stopped us getting too hot. I really can’t recommend this tour enough. If you have got smaller children they do have a tandem kayak so this is good for that situation or limited ability. You do need some ability to be able to sit and get in the kayak which wasn’t very difficult

Sky was an excellent tour guide! He had vast knowledge of the surroundings, was friendly, considerate and had a great sense of humor! We spotted Manatees and a beautiful array of birds and fish!

Sky was a fantastic guide. The pedaling kayak was easier for our group, rather than rowing. We went mid-week, out of Bird Key, with very little traffic on the water (which was nice). We saw Manatees up close - swimming under our kayaks. The Mangrove tunnels were great and the stop at the sandbar was really fun. Sky is very knowledgeable about the area and has a great personality- very witty. Was a good workout - about 4 miles. Would absolutely recommend this company!

Great day pedaling the kayaks. Saw a lot of wildlife, including a manatee that swam right under my kayak. Sky did a great job informing us about the area, the wildlife, and giving us a great kayak experience.

This is the 3rd time I have taken this tour. FABULOUS. Saw manatees, dolphins, rays, etc., etc. on each journey. Fun, knowledgeable tour guide. Once you do pedal kayaks, you will never go back to paddles. You need this experience in your life!

Our kayak trip was the highlight of the week! Sky was a great guide, very knowledgeable of the wildlife, area and letting us know what to look for in certain areas during our tour. We saw many birds, fish, starfish and crabs. Sky even spotted dolphins (from far away) and we pedaled to a safe distance to where we able to watch them hunt near the mangroves. The clarity of the water was a bonus, we felt as though we were in the Caribbean. We stopped at the sand bar for a quick dip, to stretch and find more sea life. Sky helped my kids, showing them grace and kindness, when they started to get tired. Thank you for such a memorable experience, pedaling around Lido Key!

Our family of four had an awesome time on our tour with Skye. He was super accommodating and made the time enjoyable and fun. We really liked the pedal kayaks as an alternative to traditional kayaks. They allowed us to cover more ground and were very easy to steer. It was well worth the rate for a 3 hr tour.

Sky was an excellent guide. He made sure everyone was comfortable with their kayaks. He was always finding “sea treasures” that he shared with us - starfish, sand dollar, and welk to name a few. He always kayaked up to us checking. Sky learned everyone’s names immediately.

The kayaks were comfortable and easy to maneuver. Our guide ,Sky. Was very knowledgeable. And patient. The location in gorgeous Sarasota Bay was enchanting. Saw lots of exotic birds and a few dolphins. The mangrove trails were an adventure. We can't wait to go again.

Had a wonderful time kayaking! We recently moved to Florida and i am looking for places to take guests when they come visit. This will definitely be on the list. Sky, our tour guide, was fun and knowledgeable and did everything he could to make sure we all had a wonderful time kayaking for the afternoon. The kayaks had the pedal option, which I hadn’t used before, but was fantastic. You definitely get your moneys worth with this tour - it was a great way to spend the afternoon. Highly recommend!

My sister and I had a wonderful time. Our tour guy, Sky, was excellent. Our guided tour lasted 3 hours. This tour uses pedal kayaks, which are excellent for tours like this. You are using leg muscles and not arm muscles, it is easier to turn and you sit higher in the kayak, so you don't get wet. We kayaked through narrow mangrove water trails. We saw manatees. We had cormorants follow us and catch fish around our kayaks. We highly recommend this guided kayak tour and Sky, our tour guide.

The most epic adventure pedal kayaking with the family! I’d highly recommend this tour for families. Mine kids are 12 and 3 and Sky made sure we were all comfortable, safe and having fun. He was super knowledgeable and helped make this tour a wonderful epic adventure for this whole family. We will definitely recommend and be back!

I took this tour with my father and we couldn’t stop talking about it for the rest of our trip! Our guide was truly an expert naturalist, pointing out sights and species along the way while being so thoughtful and accommodating to our different ability levels. The pedal kayaks were super easy/intuitive, and allowed me to use binoculars and take photos too. Thank you SO much - we can’t recommend this experience enough!

Skye was an amazing tour guide, he is very knowledgeable and really wants to make sure you have a great experience. This was our first time on a paddle kayak and we found them to be really easy to use. We toured the mangroves, saw some manatees, dolphins and sea birds. We also learned quite a bit about the mangroves and the marine life that lives there. The tour is about 2 to 2.5 hours but it went by very quickly, I highly recommend this tour.

Skye was an absolutely phenomenal tour guide! Incredibly knowledgeable about the local plants and animals. Excellent at instructing those of us who hadn’t been pedal kayaking before. I can’t say enough good things about this excursion! I would definitely do this again if I return to Sarasota. Thank you Skye for the awesome afternoon!

Our guide Sky was great and very intent on giving us a good experience. He was knowledgable on the local flora and fauna and gave us a lot of intersting facts about the area. Overall it was a lot of fun and I would do it again. Recommended for both adults and kids.

The pedal kayaks were very easy to maneuver. My family of 5 (including my 81 year old mother) thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our guide, Skye, was great and very knowledgeable with a fun sense of humor. I highly recommend this excursion!

What an amazing and enjoyable day on the waters of Sarasota Bay! We had not "pedal" kayaked before and were a bit anxious but much to our surprise it was so EASY and we thought much simpler than paddling. On our tour we saw multiple dolphins, birds, fish, a graceful, friendly manatee and explored a sandbar - we were all thrilled, especially the kids in our group. Our guide, Sky, was friendly, professional and very informative about all we were seeing and doing. We will definitely rent from this company again! Recommend you do it too - it's GREAT!

10/10 recommend! Joe was an amazing tour guide who made us constantly laugh and gave us "fun facts" about the water, sea life, and land! We saw beautiful manatees and befriended an adorable bird named "Terry". Though it was hot (HOT), the experience was worthwhile and would recommend! We thoroughly enjoyed not being on a time crunch and it felt like a true vacation. Joe also provided dry bags for our belongings. *would book the morning trip, not afternoon because of how hot it gets.

We were looking for something to do besides go to the beach on Siesta key during our trip, so I googled "things to do in Siesta Key" and this came up. Read the description and reviews, and it sounded like a good time. Well, it sure was. Steve was our guide, and he made the entire trip easy, informative, and enjoyable. It's really fun sitting out in the bay with the friendly cormorants darting all around you and fishing. The mangrove tunnels are super-neat to explore, and they're much cooler than sitting on the bay in the sun. If you're lucky like us, you'll see a manatee or two, they're very docile. Almost the entire trip was spent in shallow water, so we didn't even wear our lifevests. You'll have a wonderful time, try this!

We had a personal group experience with just the 6 of us. We had a great experience exploring the Mangrove tunnels and Sarasota Bay with our tour guide Sky. He was fun and funny as well as engaging. He had good knowledge of the eco system and would get out of his Kayak and dive in to get species to show us. ( Like the horseshoe crab). He also show respect to the Manatees encouraging us to create space and not invade on there territory. We would highly recommend him if you are booking a tour. We had a great experience. Thanks Sky!

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide, Mitch was extremely knowledgeable and offered so much information about the area, water, conservation efforts, etc. We saw dolphins before moving on to the mangrove tunnels where we saw crabs, starfish, and herons. The mangrove tunnels were so cool and relaxing. Mitch was very patient and helpful with us since no one in our group of 6 had experience with kayaking. We were treated like VIPs from the very start. They went over and above to make sure we had what we needed, that we knew everything in advance (such as "you're going to see crabs that look like big spiders, but they are not and will not hurt you so don't panic", and "if you happen to capsize, stand in the middle of the tunnel", etc.), and were comfortable and ready to go. I would definitely recommend Liquid Blue Outfitters for Kayak tours or rentals.
