This is a great way to experience the beach in a different way and learn how to ride an electric skateboard! Our kids age 8, 11, and 14 had a blast! Hugh was a great teacher and helped us all feel comfortable and safe during our ride. Thank you, Hugh, for a great time!

We had so much fun as a family on our beach ride! Hugh was an awesome guide and made our experience the best. We've been wanting to do this for years when we visit the island and now we'll be doing this every time we visit! The company was also really easy to reschedule with with there was bad weather when we first planned to go. 10/10.

We had such a fun time with Hugh and Amelia Island Board Rentals! It was the perfect activity for us on a chilly but sunny Friday afternoon. We did a 30 minute ride and the boards were very easily managed by my three boys (11, 9, 7) and my dad (66). They all said it was the highlight of their day! We would definitely ride again!

Can't recommend this enough. It was our second time taking visiting family and friends to our beach in the MOST FUN WAY possible.

This is a unique activity that we enjoyed. Just know that you only travel along a very small section of the beach back and forth and do not "cruise North Beach park toward a Fort Clinch where we’ll see Cumberland Island Georgia" as the site states.

Our 8 and 10 year old grandchildren came for a visit and we wanted to do something special for them. This was the highlight of their trip. Logan was so patient and showed them how to balance on the skateboards and lean a certain way to turn in the direction they needed to go. He made it so much for them, adding in a race at the end. It was like a real live Mario Cart!!! Next time they come for a visit, we are planning an even longer skateboard adventure. I would highly recommend this.

Our second time to skateboard on the beach with Hugh and Amelia Island Board Rental and it was awesome!! Will definitely be on repeat every time we visit this beautiful place. Best experience ever!!!! This was our favorite activity at the beach. Hugh was phenomenal and was super patient! So nice! We absolutely loved everything about it. My family decided to do this on vacation and I was skeptical that I would be able to do it myself. I’m not very coordinated and have zero athletic abilities BUT I did it!!!! It was so much fun for everyone! The video is something that we will cherish forever.

A “ must do” experience of you are in the area especially if you have kids or teenagers . Our 9 year old grandson loved it. 3 generations of family participated and created a vacation memory. Can’t wait to see the videos and pictures our guide Hugh took. He’s the best!

This was our second time booking this tour. So much fun for all ages and all experience levels. We had family from 4 - 55 years old and they were all able to easily ride and enjoy the day regardless of experience. Best guide ever! He’s encouraging, helpful, and does whatever he can to make sure your experience is memorable, safe, and fun! Can’t wait to book again!

My son and I went boarding last year and had so much fun we came back. This time we brought the whole family. Everyone (mom/dad 40s, daughter 16, sons 13 and 10) had a blast. Next time they want to board, rent an FUV and go on a scooter tour. We will be back.

Fun activity! The guys helping were great, and skateboarding along the ocean is something I never thought to do but it was fun.

We had a blast trying the electric skateboards on vacation. I was really happy we signed up for 30 minutes instead of longer, as it requires a lot of calf strength and balance/coordination which wasn't a strength of our group. Logan was a great tour guide, and I would definitely go again!

Great fun cruising along the beach close to the waves on a an electric skateboard! We didn't have much experience on a skateboard at all, but Logan, helped us out and made it super easy to do. In only about 5 mins, we were all zooming along the beach. Highly Recommend!

Hugh was amazing. We remained in constant communication pre and post experience! First booking got rained out and he promptly refunded (100%). Second booking was super last minute and he accommodated us within 2 hours of the request, SAME DAY! Weather couldn’t have been better so it worked out great! Kids had a blast. Husband had TOO much fun and wanted another round. Will DEFINITELY do again!

At 62, I was a bit hesitant to try beach surfing. However, while staying at our Amelia Island condo, I watched a family surfing in front of us, and with a little encouragement from my wife, I decided to give it a shot. My guide, Hugh, was incredibly patient and eased me into the experience step by step. Before long, I was cruising along the beach and even carving turns surprisingly well! Best of all, thanks to Hugh’s expert coaching, I managed to avoid any wipeouts. Wow—what a fun and exhilarating experience! On our next trip to Amelia Island, I plan to encourage my adult sons to join us. Surfing together will be an absolute blast! Thanks Hugh!

So much fun for all of us (ages 11, 12, 53 and 64)! I was nervous that I would not get the hang of it, but within minutes I was flying along the beach having a great time. Great family memory and we will definitely do it again.

My two daughters (7, 10) and I had a great time with Hugh. The skateboards are easy to control on the sand and we were up and going in no time. Hugh is really great with kids. The photos and videos he took were excellent. Do the one hour option !

This tour is so much fun that we came twice! You will go from cautious to confident and full of smiles. We've done it twice now. Hugh is an amazing host and makes it so much fun. He is super patient, great with kids, and fluent in encouragement. I highly recommend this tour for an epic day.

My wife and chose the electric skateboard ride based on reviews. Hugh was awesome, funny and really made it fun for my wife and I. We’ve snowboarded for years but never skateboard quickly picked up how to ride. Will book again when we bring our kids.

Our hotel recommended doing the skateboard adventure with our 3 boys 11, 13, 16. We loved the skateboard beach ride. They stood up and rode while mom sat but it was a thrill. Hugh shared unique history of American Beach. The pictures and videos were a nice touch at the end that wasn’t expected. 10/10

We rented 8 skateboards and could not have been happier! The entire family from Grandparents to our 6 year old who is on the spectrum loved every minute. My son even asked if we could do skateboards again when we were heading to the beach the next day! The video is also such a special treat! We didn't have to worry about taking photos...we just had fun!

We had a great time during our 30-minute beach ride! We were two adults and two kids age 11. Hugh gave us all instructions and even had us do a family race sitting down on the boards. The kids ended up sitting on the boards "Mario Kart" style and my husband and I stood up. Hugh took pictures and filmed all of us with his GoPro. A day after our session he sent us a compilation video and the pictures! Great family memory and a fun time!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This experience was great. Not only is the beach beautiful and perfect for the ride, but the guide is amazing. He had some fun stops planned with short challenges along the route and his energy really added to our experience. He even DJ'd for us along the route, took free pictures and video, and gave us some waters at the end! I'd say this experience was very similar to having ridden horses along Virginia Beach with the feeling of flying and the calmness of the waves crashing along side. Beautiful! I'm almost 50 with five knee surgeries, so I was worried about any falls. You can go as slow as you want, so I started slow. Quickly, I was trying to max out the speed and loving it! I did purposely jump off one time, but the landing was easy and soft as I jogged out of it. Living in VA Beach, it's hard to find new beach experiences on vacation for my daughter who is 13. This exceeded expectations for sure. She took to it immediately and neither of us had any issues getting the hang of it. This was a big highlight of my daughter's week and we both wanted it to last forever. We'll definitely do this again next time down! Thanks to our guide for the great experience and excellent set of free photos and videos!

We had a great time! The owner/ guide explained everything to all of us so well. We took our nine and seven year olds. My 7 year old was nervous initially, and she sat, but he made sure to keep an eye on her and made her feel confident by the end. He provides you with a video and pictures he takes for you with his Go-Pro!! The 30 minutes is the perfect amount of time. I would recommend giving it a try. It does take some balance, but you control your speed, so it's fun for everyone.

This is a must stop on your Amelia Island Adventures! The owner Hugh provides a great experience and my kids (16,13,11) loved spending 1/2 a day with him. Similar to E-Foiling in the ocean but these electric skate boards are more fun because they are easier to operate and maneuver, they are faster and are way more affordable! Book with confidence that anyone of any age will enjoy their experience.

We had a 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ time with Hugh on out Amelia Island Board Rentals Esk8 tour. It was really for all ages, skill levels and those who want to have a great time. My husband rides many boards and rides everyday, I have never ridden, and our 14 year old is just learning. We all had so much fun goofing off. We rode about 3 miles total which surprised me because I felt really slow lol. Hugh engaged everyone and made sure everyone felt accomplished. My husband was not at all bored because he could go anywhere and try new things. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this for something fun and new on your vacation or even a date :)

Such a fun time. None of my family have much experience w any sort of board sports but Hugh was great at getting us acclimated almost immediately. Lots of smiles and laughs from my entire crew. Well worth it!

We rented both Arcimotos and boards. With my 13 year old son, we had a BLAST! Hugh and his team are super welcoming and made everything easy. These were the highlights of our stay on Amelia.

This was the highlight of fall break for my kids - the guides were so fun and kind and patient and the video and pics they sent us after were great! WELL worth the price - we would do it again!!! Loved it!! Super easy to book and they were very accommodating also.
