Key West: Robert The Doll After Dark Vip Ghost Hunt (2 Hours)

Fun! Little spooky and so cool to hear the stories! Asked permission and took Robert’s picture and said goodbye! All good!

Really fun and informative experience with Robert the Doll after dark. Guide was really entertaining and knowledgeable. Good balance between scary but not too scary. We enjoyed our experience with Robert very much and would highly recommend it.

The guide, Dan, was great! The entire experience was fascinating! The fort was amazing and seeing Robert the Doll was one for the bucket list!

This experience was fantastic! Dan was a wonderful host and the tour was informative. I was also very excited to see all the variety of ghost hunting tools available for the VIP experience. We had some fun encounters with our time in the fort and around Robert. I HIGHLY recommend the VIP ghost tour! It was the highlight of our Key West trip.

I did the VIP experience by myself with no one else around, except me and the museum and the doll. Had a blast!

I 100% recommend the VIP Robert the Doll After Dark Tour! Dan was such an excellent guide and very informative and awesome! After the group sit down with Robert and the VIP self-guided investigation begin, we chose to take a spirit box down the hall on the other side of the Fort where the bodies of those who died from yellow fever were stored. We got a GOOD 25-30 seconds of someone coming though saying what either sounds like my name or “old man” and “it’s heavy” (Dan had mentioned earlier in the tour that it feels sad and heavy in that area of the fort) and some other words I’m still trying to make out. We continued walking through the fort and went back to the area on the left side of where all the paranormal equipment is and briefly heard something come through again on the box. We didn’t have any luck after that, so we started walking back to the table. We were close to the old safe/diving suit exhibit and suddenly, the babydoll on the table began laughing. After putting the spirit box back on the table with the equipment, we just looked at each other walked back outside and came in to the main area where the gift shop is. We asked Dan if anyone else was still doing the tour except us, but no one else was there to set it off because everyone else had left, and he had been up front for awhile. We had so much fun and still have chills days later. This tour is worth the time and money and we will DEFINITELY do this again next time we come back to Key West! We came back again the following day before our flight (free admission since we came two nights before) and bought two of David’s books and explored the tower at the fort. I can’t wait to read them and come back!

It was really fun. It was a little hot in there though. I have a feeling that my friend was involved with a negative entity as she had to leave the building and vomited when she got outside. I met people and we were ingaging with 2 spirits. Michael and Rick. Can't wait to go back. Danny was our host and he was great!!! Thank you Danny!!

Our tour guide was amazing walking around the fort was very creepy and an awesome experience on the VIP tour meeting, Robert was an experience. We will never forget.

Learning about fort history with a chance to explore on our own was a one of a kind experience that we would recommend to anyone. Did we have any encounters - didn’t see anything but heard several replies on the spirit box. We heard the name “Bishop” twice and when we asked if we should stay or leave we heard “leave us” so we ran outta there. It is probably the only time we will ever have an opportunity to use so many different types of ghost hunting tools.

Spooky but fun! Matt our tour guide was awesome. A good mix of history with ghost hunting. Unique experience and one you will remember!

This was so much fun! The tour was incredible, spooky and everything we imagined. We really enjoyed the ghost hunt at the end and we could swear we had some activity!

Small group of 5 for the initial hour, then just the two of us for the hour of ghost hunting. Dan the guide was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, gave history and anecdotes throughout the evening. Loved hearing of other experiences and things included with history and facts. The hour extra using equipment was good, used dowsing rods, EMFs, temp guns, spirit box, motion sensors, grid lights and sensory deprivation spirit box. Had some activity but not as dramatic as some other groups had recorded, but you can't make spirits work for you so happy with what did happen.

The VIP tour is such a cool experience! You start off with a great walking history tour to check out the fort and the guide tells you about their personal experiences too. There’s a sit down around Robert the Doll which is fascinating and you can choose whether or not to say hi and take your pic with Robert. You definitely have to see him in person to appreciate all the stories. After that we get to stay in the fort for an hour to ghost hunt on our own! We checked out every part of the fort (even the unsettling Citadel). We had the best luck communicating with “something” using the pendulum but they provided a lot of equipment to ghost hunt. Highly recommend!!

The host was pleasant, approachable, and very knowledgeable. He set the tone for the experience. Unfortunately, we had no activity from the spirits, but the place was sufficiently creepy at night.

The things I do for love. My 20 year old granddaughter and I are on a girls get-away and she absolutely begged me to take the VIP tour. I did and loved it. I don't believe in ghosts nor of Robert's ability to terrorize, but the experience of exploring the Martello in the dark with only a flashlight was amazing. The historical past of this old fort, turned Yellow Fever hospital was fascinating. Come and explore! You won't be sorry.

Prepare to be uncomfortable around Robert. It was really cool tour! Learned a lot about Key West and its beginnings.

Our guide (Dave, I think) was very good. He balanced fact with fiction well, and did a good job helping the more timid participants enjoy their experience while not allowing the overly-enthusiastic ghost lovers to dominate. It was neat to see Robert the Doll in person, but overall, the tour was pretty anti-climactic.

Our 3 trip back! This is our Teen(s) favorite ghost tour in Key West! The history of the old fort is really interesting and OFCOURSE Robert is the main attraction. We always add the VIP extended fort visit is very DARK and SPOOKY!

A very fun experience! We are skeptics about paranormal things, and still are, but we find it fun to visit haunted places and learn about strange happenings. The tour guide was super friendly and engaging and fun.

We booked this excursion and flew to Key West for it. They cancelled but I didn't find out until we were standing in an empty parking lot at 9pm and I called Viator. Very unprofessional and cost us a great deal of money.

This was a last min decision to go and honestly it was so awesome! Dan was an amazing guide who knew the history well and was easy going. It was a small group. But we witnessed EMF readers going off the whole time. When sitting with Robert the Doll my BF’s EMF reader was reading 4 for a good 5mins (thought maybe it’s cuz he was pointing it at someone’s phone, but nope that was not the case). We witnessed the motion detector that was attached to a bottle go off behind us and it knocked over a little bit too! We didn’t do the VIP experience, but it was such a cool experience! They do provide equipment if you were to get the VIP experience.

Amazing tour of the Rockies in brand new bus with bathroom and comfortable seats. Great driver and tour guide Brad. Learned so much about history of the place. Accommodation was great we had frequent stops during our drive. Scenery was stunning. Very reasonably priced and great value.

The ghost tour was more than I expected. They gave us equipment to use and let people go off on their own to get spooked! Fascinating history lesson, none of it felt corny or staged, and it seemed to attract respectful people who genuinely wanted to be there and have the experience. Would recommend to anyone remotely interested in the paranormal.

The tour and story told were amazing. It was a small group but that made it feel more personal. I had been very interested in Robert The Doll because it’s a unique story. Seeing Robert up close made me appreciate the history and stories told. I absolutely believe in the story and I appreciate the time Robert had for us. Cannot wait to visit again.
