Key West Tiki Bar Sunset Cruise (By The Seat) Byob Adventure

The man operating the boat was great in that he narrated the whole trip and showed us places we probably would have not seen on the ride. Just one complaint which I hope doesn’t turn ugly is that there was a boat wake that the operator went through very fast and I fell off my bar stool seat and hurt myself. I am not sure what my left back hit but I am in pain and bruised as a result. There was no warning that he was going to put the boat in a very fast gear to combat the wake. I fell off my stool and not only hurt myself but got soaking wet from the sea water slamming onto the boat floor. Other than that the operator was wonderful and did a great job and we enjoyed the trip.

Zappa was an absolute treat and made our trip something we'll remember forever. Beautiful trip with NO shortage of interesting things to look at. We didnt bring gear to get off the cruise anywhere, so our captain improvised a lovely sightseeing trip. Absolutely worth the price of admission! We were able to enjoy for multiple hours and see the titular sunset in all its glory.

Our captain was amazing! He was such a knowledgeable host. Also, my mother-in-law forgot her sunglasses on board and he personally brought them back to us. Wow! What a great guy!!!

The Sunset Tiki Boat is a must! Captain Madison was friendly and knowledgeable. It was cloudy and she headed back early before sundown which was disappointing.

Robert was the best! He kept us entertained with jokes, fun facts, and stories. We felt more than welcome and had a great time. We had a group of 5 which was perfect for the bar with 7 seats. Robert knew so much about the area and boating in general and didn’t hesitate to share some insider knowledge with us. He has fun recs as well!

Fantastic evening , amazing scenery and of course the unbelievable sunset - our captain and host Madison was extremely knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout- we highly recommend this tour.

Had a great tiki tour! Booked for 6:30pm and was able to catch the sunset. The views were stunning. Blender available on board to make margs and it was a great time!

A great smooth ride and not crowded like other tours. Madison was wonderful and gave us lots of interesting information about the keys. Only thing I would do is make the barstools more comfortable. They are really high and your legs hang, I’m 5’8. They need to add a foot rest on the tiki bar itself or on each stool. Other than that I would highly recommend.

The tiki sunset cruise was an amazing time! Robert, our captain was great. He was very friendly and knowledgeable! Robert excitedly told us about the history of certain landmarks and businesses as we went along our sunset cruise. It was nice to bring our own drinks on the tiki boat to help enjoy the ride! Once out by the sunset, it was a gorgeous view and amazing for photos! This is a fun and relaxing tour and totally worth it! I highly recommend using Tiki Boat Adventures for your sunset tour.

The name of the experience, “Key West Tiki Bar Sunset Cruise” suggests this is a traditional booze cruise. Upon arrival, we were informed that only bottled water would be provided however they were happy to dock across the street from a Circle K to allow us to buy alcohol and snacks. The gentleman told us this is written in the “fine print” and offered to ge the owner on the phone. Eric, the owner was very rude and would not offer a refund of any kind. We are reaching out to Viator for a refund.

Super fun! It got a little cool on the way home but we still thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely recommend!

This was our first Tiki Boat experience as a family, Madison was our pilot , she was on time , helped us with putting our drinks and snack, she gave a quick tour of the boat and made us feel comfortable. She is very knowledgeable about the place , people and the culture of the Keywest, learning about the ‘ Wisteria Island ‘ was the very interesting part of the tour . She was very friendly and respectful. She even suggested the best desert( Sticky toffee pudding , The boat house )and pizza( Duetto ) in the area when we told her we will be grabbing some pizza for dinner . We highly recommend this boat tours and Madison was our favorite tour guide ! Thank you!!

We had a great time. First, the Tiki boat. This is a full-size pontoon boat converted to a tiki bar format. It is very comfortable and spacious for a party of six and quite stable even in somewhat rough waters and big boat wakes. This tiki boat as compared to the other tiki cruise available in Key West which is a “round“ tiki boat - yes a round boat - which from personal observation is not at all stable and rocks back-and-forth even in slightly un-calm waters. If rocking is your thing, go Round. Otherwise go bigger and stable. Our captain, Robert, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and engaging about the harbor area, it’s $1 million homes and some of the operating details of the naval base and Coast Guard stationed here. Plus we got lucky, we had a beautiful sunset - which is not always the case. I highly recommend this tiki boat sunset cruise, and ask for Robert as your capital. The 2 hour duration was perfect. We will do this again cruise next time we’re in Key West.

This activity is BYOB!! Read all the print! I booked this on a whim after I saw much larger capacity activities but they were with drinks included! This was NOT!

The captain was awesome, gave us some little secret of the island and people. What made it great was the weather, the amazing sunset, and how detailed he was. I'd definitely do this again with him.

How can you possibly go wrong here? Bring anything you want to eat or drink and cruise around the island in search of a beautiful sunset. Jimmy is a wonderful host and captain, it was like catching up with an old friend. Would highly recommend this experience for a laid back and fun boat ride that truly embodies the key west spirit!

Captain Kristin was amazing! Knew what she was doing, interacted well with us but wasn’t annoying about it either. Loved it.

If you want a more personal and relaxing experience then this boat is for you. Its a Tiki boat that had bar seats for 6 people The Captain was knowledgeable about everything in the area. He had a lot of interesting information. Very interactive.

There are so many options for sunset boats and we are so glad we chose this one!! It was a small group, no frills, sweet and cozy - exactly what we were looking for!! And sunset was gorgeous!

Hot guide was awesome but I’d cut time to less touring around island and just get to the sunset which was awesome

We had an amazing ride on the Tiki boat with Jimmy. The sunset was perfect. Jimmy knew the history of Key West which made the ride even more interesting. The fun music and the sunset made for perfect cruise.

Chris was very informative about the area and she certainly entertained my group of friends! Only 4 of us which made it extremely fun (along with our snacks and drinks! 🤣) This is a must do and a great chance to see an awesome sunset!

Madison was phenomenal! She was very personal able, knowledgeable and provided us an amazing experience for my family and I.

I loved every moment of it, every one were exceptionally kind and paying attention to each and every one, basically i learned how to snorkel with them. I recognized Kelsey because i happened to have another tour with her. She was the one that literally gave me a free snorkeling class! I am a senior, i have to confess she is very talented! I would ALWAYS go with their company for any tour from now on! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you for creating such a good memory and vacation for me and my family!

This is my 2nd time on Sunset Tiki tour. Both times I went it was informative on the Keys & a lot of fun. It was my sisters 1st time to Key West this tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Everyone should get to see sunset in Key West on the ocean in a tiki boat.

This was a great experience. Capt. Jimmy took us all around the harbor, etc while we drank some ice cold beverages and filled us in on some fun facts while doing so. Weather wasn’t the best (clouds all around) so we didn’t get a picture perfect sunset but we still had a great time! Rain showed up right as we got back to the docks.

Our sunset tiki boat ride was such a pleasure! Our captain was very gracious, knowledgable and fun! He had a cooler with ice ready for us, showed us all the sights, and shared local info. The sunset was totally amazing and we took pictures that we can frame. We even saw a dolphin! The boat held the 6 of us comfortably. It's a must do in Key West!!

Morgan was the best Captain and made our trip a wonderful celebration experience. Very knowledgeable about water safety and very knowledgeable about the history of Key West. Definitely a must do experience to see the best sunsets in Key West!!

Morgan was a great captain and tour guide! He made sure the vibe was very fun while offering great info on the waters and islands during our trip. Fabulous sunset view!!! I would highly recommend you try this. Do not forget to ask Morgan, if he is your captain, to tell you the iguana story.

Great tour. Capt Morgan was great. A little pricey, but well worth it. Parking was available literally right next to the boat, and it was great to be on a boat that was totally "non-smoking". Highly recommend.

Four of us went out on the Tiki Bar Sunset Cruise and had an awesome experience! Our captain, Madison, did a great job! She made sure that we were safe at all times and kept us informed on what we were seeing in the area. The sunset was spectacular, and we even saw a huge spotted Manta Ray along the way! We would definitely recommend this sunset cruise!

Knowledgeable and informative guide made it enjoyable. The setting sun was beautiful and the orange iguanas were spectacular

It was a great way to celebrate New Year's. I loved that the boat only had 6 people on it. We saw other boats packed with people and it didn't look comfortable to me. Bring snacks and your own drinks. The captain had a lot of knowledge, but talked over us as we tried to converse with the other passengers. He could read the crowd a little better. He was very safety conscious. To the owner: Bamboo needs to be trimmed another 6-12 inches shorter so it doesn't obstruct the beautiful views.

Our captain was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to chat with for a couple hours. The only downside is that we would have loved to have known there was a washroom available when we got on. Loved seeing the sunset from the tiki tour.

Great view of sun setting in water. Captain provided interested info on landmarks. However, too much info and viewing of real estate of the rich and famous. We had to ask to return from real estate tour to view sunset just 10 minutes prior to sunset time.

Would not recommend. This was my second time and the actually tiki hut was not good. The overhang was so low you could not see anything. You literally had to duck down to see the water and sunset. Spent $400 and totally not worth it. I was do a little more research and get a better company. Also Robert was just average. Not really that fun or customer service oriented. He also made a point to tell us how much tip to give him. So again, would not recommend.
