Key West Sunset Cruise: Dinner, Live Music & Drinks Included

Great food and music. Beautiful night. Dolphins were an added bonus. Drinks were not bad. Highly recommend!

The crew was friendly and the food was great. The sunset cruise was well worth the time and money. The weather was perfect and the sunset was beautiful.

Well organized, good entertainment, better than average food for this type of venue, welcome rum punch a nice surprise, no problem getting a drink at the bar, friendly accommodating staff. Nice on the water experience.

I'm not saying we didn't enjoy ourselves on this sunset cruise. We did! However, there were a few reasons this could have been so much better. First they split the people into two groups - group one and group two. Group one gets to have their dinner first, while group two goes upstairs on the top deck for the cruise. The open bar upstairs was wonderful; the bartender (who looked so much like Timothée Chalamet) was great and very attentive to everyone. So the beginning was very nice. However the music they had on the boat was terrible! Everyone was saying how depressing the twangy, country like singer was where every song sounded the same. To say no one was able to dance was an understatement. But what was really terrible was our group then goes down below for our dinner, while the first group comes upstairs to the top deck. So we are downstairs eating our dinner (finally) as the sun goes down. So unless you shoved your food down your throat and ran back upstairs, you missed the sunset. Which we did. I was able to get up and take a photo of the sunset through one of the dining room windows. That was our sunset. Since it is fall and the sun is setting earlier, if they had only started the cruise an hour earlier (even a half an hour) it would have been so much better for the second group. We were very disappointed. Also on the top deck there is no where for anyone to sit except one bench. Everyone had to stand. There were a lot of older people on this dinner cruise and it would be nice if they had somewhere to sit on the top deck. The guys working the cruise were hard working and wonderful and very attentive. We tipped them well. But missing the sunset because we stood on line so late to get our meal was not a highlight of the trip. JMHO

We were extremely happy with the cruise and dinner. Very well organized and presented. Only complaint was the number of people vaping on the top deck (8 plus). Would have thought crew would have asked them to stop or move to location identified by captain.

Honestly I should have read more reviews and done my homework. Not what I expected. Would have been better if they didn’t book 100+ for the excursion. People sitting on top of each other for the meal. Ran out of plates and had to ask for one. Food was subpar, but a buffet so, I get it. Everything was very unorganized, excursion left late because of this. Paid for premium drinks. Huge mistake. So many people and only one bartender. Only had time for 2 drinks due to the amount of people. Guess you live and learn. Won’t make this mistake again.

Don’t book it though you. We booked cruise through you and the boat was not even scheduled to cruise the day we booked. No one bothered to tell us, we showed up for the cruise but no one was there. Then I had to go through an act congress to get my $400 refund. I would tell people never to use your service.

Good communication had to cancel last minute, so we understand. We understand you had a lot of flooding over the last couple days so it could impact your families.

It was nice but cloudy so no real Sunset. Music was good, food was good, service good!

Food was terrible, cramped dining room, music was also terrible. Not what I expected.

The music was great, the food was okay, the drinks were plentiful, and the tour was an ideal length. My only complaint was the unnecessary early arrival time. We were asked to arrive an hour early, but check-in took just three minutes, leaving us standing in the heat for the rest of the time.

Amazing experience! Really great food and so much fun!! Went with family, including our one year old and everyone had a great time!

Take the pictures. Take in the beauty of your surroundings. This was a must do on our list and it was 100% of what we were hoping for.

Cruise was amazing.!! Food was great Strong drinks even told us to take a drink for the road.. Music was so good and took requests. The staff went above and beyond and so friendly. Highly recommend this cruise for a sunset cruise.

Wonderful evening. Dinner and cruise were fun and well organized. Seating at dinner was a little awkward having to share a table with strangers. Would recommend benches at the ticket counter when first checking in. Guests required to wait an hour after checking in before boarding the boat, and there were no chairs or benches. Difficult for elderly or disabled guests.

Great love music and good bartender. Was a great night with lots of laughs and plenty of pictures to remember the time.

Avoid this company if you have kids or special needs. I booked a dinner cruise for my special needs child and myself. Because of their own staff confusion at check-in, they kicked us out of our original seats and sent us upstairs. When we got there, there was zero seating available. They expected a mother and a special needs child to stand on a moving boat with nowhere to eat the dinner we paid for.When we went back downstairs to find a place to sit so my child could eat, the staff humiliated us multiple times and made us feel entirely unwelcome. When I complained to management, Richard just made excuses, blamed us for arriving early, and refused a full refund. They have zero compassion or accommodation for special needs families. Terrible customer service.

The boat cruise was nice but the dinner was terrible. The pulled pork was way too salty, and the chicken was also over seasoned.

We were told to check in at 5:45, but they did not let us board until 6:20 so we were left standing in the heat for 35 minutes sweating. Dinning area looked like we were going to a picnic and the food was disappointing. Would have preferred picnic food. The bar area was nice and drinks were very good but it was too wobbly for me to dance. I would not repeat or recommend. Starlite Dinner Cruise out of Clearwater was much better and less expensive. Did not feel I got $118.00 worth.

When we arrived to the cruise ship, the captain and the crew were rude unorganized and did not have space availability for us without dividing our group. This was a 60th birthday celebration and we all want to have dinner together. They kept us on the outside of the pier while they tried to figure out what they were going to do with us while guests were on the ship. They were trying to figure out how they were going to accommodate us and they kept saying I don’t know what we’re going to do, so the captain told us that we could get a refund and the boat took off. When we went to the desk to get a refund, they said that they could not give us a refund because Viator had to give us the refund but we contacted you guys to get a refund you denied it. We had 12 people on this trip and it was $93 a person not refunded at this point we are still trying to get a refund. We definitely would not use the sun motorsports ever again and we’re waiting for Viator to get back to us. Also advertising photos look like there was about 30 to 50 people on the ship but when we got there, they said there was over 107. We could see that it was already way too crowded standing in the dock.

Fabulous friendly staff made the experience very pleasurable. Smooth ride with incredible food. The Prosecco was great quality, nice and dry. The live performer on the top deck was fantastic. Overall, this was an amazing dinner cruise with great sunset views. Perfect and I would highly recommend.

Great cruise. Great staff. Great food. However, the app that was used to book my reservations booked me for 4. I only wanted 2. The app wouldn't let me correct the number. I am still trying to get reimbursed for 2 tickets with no luck.

Great staff. Good food. Fun music. Hot crowded dining room. Unfortunately the dining groups were not divided evenly and it was very difficult to move around the tables to get food. Overall still a super fun experience

The food, drinks, entertainment and staff were 5 stars. Everything was exceptional except for the onboarding experience. Had us waiting in the hot blaring sun with no water to hydrate. Made us wait in the sun for almost an hour. Perhaps having a better set up could prevent this ie: an awning or an arrangement with the local restaurant to let folks wait in shade. But I must say, everything else was beautiful. The sunset was stunning. So I would definitely do this tour again.

Cruise itself is great and staff is friendly and attentive. Food is tasty and plentiful. Pre-board experience is somewhat disorganized as they make you check-in twice and then line up (twice for us) out in the hot open sun 30 minutes early for no reason when they could just wait till its actually time to board. Not a big deal in Winter but brutal in August. Pro tip: ask for the first shift seating (inside/AC) and you won't be stuck on the open upper deck till sunset.

The cruise was great! great music and food. However, the check in process was a little unorganized. You check in an hour early to stand in the sun not having a clear direction on what the next steps were.

Had to wait standing over an hour to get on board with no seating or shade in the hot Florida sun. AC on ship not the greatest and only available while eating. Food was good and crew was friendly. Great sunset and even saw 5 dolphins.

It was a nice cruise; we were told to be there 1 hour prior to the excursion it was 105 with heat index and nowhere to sit and no shade so that part was not fun

This sunset cruise was organized very well The boarding was on time and efficient, the passengers are assigned 1 or 2 groups and a table number when boarding l. Group 1 eats first on the main deck Group 2 boards the upper deck where the bar is Mid way through the cruise the groups switch The buffet had average food the bar made strong drinks The captain made sure we all had good views of the sunset Great cruise overall

This was great. Just as advertised. Great view of the sunset on the water as well as a great site-seeing opportunity! The food, drinks, music and the entire crew were fantastic! Definitely worth doing!
