Key West Sandbar Safari On One Of A Kind Tiki Boat

This was one wonderful day on the water! Our crew members, Shea and Dawson, made sure that we had a great time! The tiki boat was well-appointed with comfy sofas, cushions, and chairs, and we had plenty of floating equipment to enjoy the beautiful sandbar. Aside from their excellent hospitality, our crew was knowledgeable about the area and had great recommendations for other things to do once we returned to port. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

What a fun day on the water! Great crew who kept us safe, entertained and glasses full. My. husband and I went with my sister and her husband as part of her birthday celebration. I'm so glad we did. Made some new friends, enjoyed each other's company and even made a few new friends. Highly recommend!

The activity started off terrible- we were trying to check in but the office to do that looked closed so I went up to the bartender on the boat to ask. The man (who we found out later is named Dawson) proceeds to yell “DO NOT GET ON THE BOAT” (like I was going to attack him) even before I even had a chance to ask. Mind you, there was no sign saying not to board the boat and there was a ramp leading to the entrance and the entrance “door” was open. So I told him I wanted to ask about checking in and he points towards the office. Once again, we go to the office and no one was there. When we got back to the boat area, another man was there letting people on. That man was a bit rude too but whatever, at that point the experience hasn’t been great. The actual activity was nice. But because of the treatment I got from the operators of the vessel, I didn’t have the best time. If you’re not a minority, you’ll probably have a blast. But POC beware.

We had the best experience with Sebago Watersports! We were a group of 6 on the boat and the trip was totally affordable. I feel as though we out in the water a little longer than scheduled which was an added bonus!! Bryce and Gary were awesome and made the whole trip so relaxing and totally laid back. There were about 35 people in total, we met so many nice, happy people!! We will definitely be doing this again!!

we wanted to be out on the water and chose this option for the sandbar swim. Unfortunately, weather wasn’t cooperating and we couldn’t do the sandbar. Not the operator’s fault but we ended up having a fun time on the water. Lots of watercraft to enjoy like matts and noodles with music and a few alcohol selections.

Everything was great. These guys work hard so you can play hard. Highly recommend! Would definitely do it again.

One of the best things I've done in key west. By day 5 my body was tired feet were sore, it's perfect way to heal in the warm calm waters!! Staff was fantastic, learned stuff and they were so accommodating! Will do this again!

Dawson and Captain Brett were amazing. Definitely a must do excursion. Approximately a 40 minute boat ride to the sandbar. Sandbar was clean and perfect. Drinks steady flowing. About an hour and 45 minutes at the bar meeting and mingling with other parties on board. Must do. Thanks Brett and Dawson. Very fun, professional and safe.

The entire experience was fantastic. From the boat, staff and the sand bar. Highly recommend it for everyone.

The guides were super friendly and knowledgeable- they did their best ti make it a fun trip. It’s not the most comfortable trip out to the sandbar so be prepared…but then it’s a beautiful experience!

The crew was friendly and did a fine job, which is why I’m giving 2 stars. Unfortunately, the excursion itself was disappointing and did not feel worth the price. There wasn’t enough seating on the boat, leaving part of our party standing during the ride. Once we arrived at the sandbar, the only substantial floats provided were two large rings, which could only accommodate about half of the people on the excursion. Everyone else was left with old pool noodles that were basically useless for floating—I tried using five at once and still sank. They also provided a football to play with, but it was flat. The experience simply did not match what was advertised. The photos show several different floats and make it appear that there are plenty of options for guests to enjoy in the water. That was definitely not what we experienced. With multiple groups sharing the boat, there should be enough seating and water equipment for everyone. I’ve done other excursions at a lower price point that offered significantly more. For what we paid + giving a tip (which they recommend $25-30/person), this was disappointing, and I would not recommend it.

Surly staff from the woman who books you to the captain and mate. They only want your money they dont want you to have a good experience. the whole staff acts as if they could care less if you have a fun time. The boat was nice and we were excited for a good time but it was a forgettable experience.

Shay was the most amazing captain we could have asked for! She dodged the spotty storms and went above and beyond to deliver a top notch experience and find the perfect spot for us to safely enjoy the water. Dawson kept the drinks and the vibe flowing even in the rain. They both even swam drinks out to us on our floaties! This was a highlight of our weekend trip to Key West. 10/10 recommend!

The boat ride to and from the sand bar is very long. Seating cannot accommodate everyone on board so you could get stuck standing for the entire trip to and from the sand bar. The time at the actual sandbar seems very short an hour to maybe an hour and 15 min. Approximately an hour to destination, one hour/one hour 15 min at sand bar and an hour and 15 return. They do provide alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks throughout the trip, the crew is very friendly. If sand bar time is what means the most to you perhaps consider a private charter. This is more 2/3 boat drive with drinks and 1/3 Sand Bar time. The water was beautiful and the weather was beautiful for this trip but rain so always a possibility so keep that in mind since the boat is not completely covered. Definitely more of a booze cruise with a short stop at a beautiful sandbar than an actual sand bar cruise.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The water was so warm and clear, and the vibe on the boat was fantastic!!

We enjoyed the tiki boat sandbar safari and the employees on the boat were very nice. However, when we booked the trip we received a confirmation and a message stating a tip was expected. Then before the boat ride began, the employees told us again that tips were customary and they would have their tip jar waiting at the end of the trip as we exited the boat. When the ride was almost over, they once again reminded us that they were expecting a tip, and this time let us know they wanted 20 percent of the ticket price, which was $20 per person, I guess in case we were not able to figure out the amount. I have no problem with tipping for good service, but this was over the top and off-putting. A shame, as I did enjoy the sandbar cruise otherwise.

Bring sun screen. Captain and mate work hard to make sure you have a great time. Water was great and no need for water shoes

The safari tiki ride was the BEST thing I did in Key West!! It was so much fun!! And he crew was fabulous and I thoroughly enjoy every minute of this!!

This was by far our favorite excursion we have done!! Travis & Brandon did an awesome job and kept the drinks flowing. So laid back on a not overcrowded boat and the sand bar they took us to was just beautiful!

This was a perfect last minute booking for my bachelorette party trip. Visiting the sandbar was an absolute must for us on this trip. We could've stayed there all day if they let us! The included alcoholic beverages was also an instant plus. Would definitely recommend!

My friend and I did the Tiki Sandbar excursion on 8/6/26. Brandon and Travis were fantastic! The adventure started out with a few rain drops and far off storms. We arrived at the sandbar and was able to enjoy the Gulf's beautiful waters. Both of our guides were very fun. They made sure everyone was happy. Unfortunately, we had to pack up a bit before schedule because a tropical storm came in. It went from a calm relaxing trip to white water rafting on a party boat. Everyone was great though and still had many laughs. Brandon guided us through the storm with not issues and Travis made sure drinks were still being supplied. It was definitely an adventure for the memory book. Thank you Brandon and Travis!

The Sanbar Tiki Sunset cruise was alot of fun for our group of 6. Our only gripe was the floaties were not available. They told us they popped on a previous trip. They had a few big round floats but not enough by far for everyone. Still had a great time

Absolutely worth the money. The sand bar area is crystal clear & gorgeous. The dolphins following behind the boat was a nice little bonus!

This was awesome. So relaxing! The crew supplies floaties and delicious drinks. I went solo and met great people. Definitely do this! You will love it!

Wonderful adventure boat captain Brandon was awesome I traveled alone for the first time and everyone was so awesome. The sandbar was perfect and so much fun wish I had done this adventure everyday it was so relaxing and peaceful .

Travis was phenomenal! Captain was also ( forgot his name!) We went on the early trip and the boat was practically empty and made it even more amazing!!

John the bartender and “deck hand” was awesome! I was experiencing nausea and overheating and he gave me ice without even asking! Very attentive and sweet! Joe “captain” was ok, he seemed rushed the whole time and really pushed the tips over and over again! We only went on this due to the sargassum by our resort, we wanted to get in the ocean and this was the way! It was only an hour at the sandbar but again we felt rushed the entire time!!!

Fun excursion to do in the keys. Unfortunately, we were late by 5 minutes on a Saturday and missed the boat. We were fortunate enough to get rebooked the following day. The bummer is the boat on Sunday left closer to 9:15 versus the boat on Saturday left at 9:05 am. I removed one star because the front desk person did give our party unnecessary attitude.

This was such a fun trip! The staff was amazing and the music was great! The sandbar was absolutely amazing and beautiful! No regrets in booking this one!

This is on our must do list for future visits to Key West! Brandon and Bradley did an amazing job keeping everyone’s cups filled with cool drinks and made the excursion so much fun. Loved floating in the large floats and the sandbar was perfect! So glad we booked this!

Wonderful experience! We went on Tuesday and liked it so much we went back Wednesday, the next day! Captains were awesome. Very friendly and focused on the people! Highly highly recommended!

Mom and daughter time! Water was beautiful, sand bar and swimming were a refreshing escape from the seaweed on our side of the island, Brandon and John were awesome captains! We may do it again tomorrow! Totally worth the money!

This was a good experience, but they will charge you extra for anything other than Landshark beer and cocktails, which is honestly a scam. They also tell you how much they want you to tip, and after paying $400 for this experience I found that super off putting. I am happy to add gratuity but $50? No.
