Key West Private Charter: Sandbar And Snorkeling

We had a wonderful morning with Kristen, super knowledgeable and kind! My four kids, ages 16, 12, 12, 9 loved every minute of min of it too. We saw Dolphins, tons of fish, crabs, sting ray and lemon sharks. We loved every minute of our time with Kristen and lunch and fruit on the sand bar was fantastic!

A group of family and friends with two babies, went on a daytrip with Honest Eco. The boat was amazing, staff very helpful, knowledgeable and fun. They shared their knowledge and were able to point out sea turtles, dolphins and different birds. I would always choose to go again with Honest Eco.

Girls trip in Key West. We had the best time on Cowfish. Saw dolphins and explored a sandbar. Captain Dan took great care of us and we had a fantastic time. Gorgeous sunset. Chill vibes. Highly recommend.

A perfect day on and in the water. Captain Kristen was a fantastic guide. Her knowledge of the history, wildlife, and ins and outs of living and boating in Key West added context and fun to our adventure. We cruised with the dolphins, snorkeled over a snoozing nurse shark and his goliath grouper friends, soaked in the view with our toes nestled in a sandbar, and wrapped up our tour watching a squadron of frigatebirds ride into the clouds on a thermal. Perfect.

Super easy to book. Great directions to the boat and for checking in, what to bring. Loved being on a small tour- 15 of us that day. From first time to experienced snorkelers, first mate Charlie and Captain Mo took great care of us all. The tour promised 3 stops- and being a small company they decided our itinerary order and specific locations based on this afternoon’s weather- giving us a calm snorkel in a nursery area, time in the “dolphins’ playground”, and ending with relaxing in waist deep water on a sandbar 7miles off the coast- being served our veggies and hummus while we relaxed in the water! Thanks Captain Mo! Our crew had tremendous knowledge of the area, the animals, and a clear love of and respect for this beautiful habitat.

You could truly feel his passion for sailing, and his enthusiasm made the experience special. Andrew took us to several incredible snorkeling spots, each offering something unique and beautiful. The Florida Keys are a beautiful and unique location, full of great food and amazing things to see and do. Captain Andrew and Sara took us on the best snorkeling adventure I’ve ever had. Along with watching dolphins, and a stop at a sandbar where you can stand in the warm water and marvel at the sea all around you for miles. We were treated to fresh fruit as we were relaxing in the water and reflecting on our wonderful experience. The boat was clean, the gear was well maintained and it was all around a fantastic experience. 10/10

Our family booked a private boat tour with Libby, and can’t say enough positive things! She was able to find great snorkel spots for us based on the conditions that day, and even pointed out some neat marine life for us. She was incredibly kind and friendly, very knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does.

The Captain made this a great experience by explaining all the sites and answering all our questions about the area and more. He provided snacks of fresh fruits and vegetables along with hummus. He ensured we had a great time. Loved his dog “Piper” as well. Thanks

We had a great time on this excursion. Chase was our capitain and he came with his puppy Piper. Chase was very knowledgeable, accommodating and showed us around. We saw dolphins and other wildlife and went to a nice island to search for seashells.

I would highly recommend this trip! Jackie and Captain Libby were great. We had a beautiful, informative kayak trip, wonderful snorkel trip and tasty snacks along the way. It was a lovely day on the water!

Super fun day w 2 adults and 2 tweens. Few things are 'fun for the whole family' but this was just that. Crew were great, and we actually learned a lot about marine life in the keys. Also, small guest size (14) was important for us. Highly recommend.

Four of us went out on a private dolphin watch and snorkeling excursion. It was a little windy so we didn't snorkel, but we had an incredible 4 hours on the water. We saw probably 25 dolphins -- including some babies -- and so enjoyed watching them frolic. The weather warmed up and Dan, our captain, was incredibly knowledgeable about the eco-systems, dolphins, birds, creation of the man made islands, role of mangroves in preserving Key West -- it was just a perfect day. Food is always fabulous (fresh fruit, veggies, hummus). I have gone out with Honest Eco a dozen or so times, and this one was simply perfect. Cannot recommend them enough!

Amazing top notch trip. Everything was first class from start to finish. Captain Andrew was a great host. Boat was clean and fun ride. Perfect day on the water with family. Snorkeling and sand bar tour private was the way to go. Highly recommend. Class act. Fresh fruit and drinks half way thru trip to refresh from all the swimming. If you want a private tour that is top notch this is the company to rent it from. We have done many private boat rentals and this was the best one yet.

We were in town for son’s wedding and looking for things to entertain the grandchildren. Gorgeous day, beautiful aqua colors in water. Had 3 who couldn’t swim but there were appropriately sized life jackets! Kids enjoyed ‘swimming’ to sand bar and playing along shore. Crew very knowledgeable and attentive. Kids loved steady stream of pick up foods! And we saw several dolphin pods on the way back, one of which had a 2-3 month old baby!! Grand experience for all!

Andrew was very professional and knowledgeable. It was an excellent day and we really liked the fruit provided as well as all aspects of the trip. Back in time to get on our ship!
