GoGo was an amazing tour guide. We have been to Key West many times but he showed us so many things and places we had never been to before. We even enjoyed going to some of our favorite places here with him, he shared information we were not aware of. All the stops were great and his knowledge of Key West was impressive. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Key West. Everything was delicious!! Only complaint is how full we are and how will we ever be able to eat dinner!!!!! Thank you for an awesome day.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!! Cannot beat this tour for a great fulling lunch at various restraunts and some cool Key West history along the way ! Nice pace.
The tour was excellent! Gogo was a great tour guide. He really knows the inside and out of the island. The location stops were amazing and the food portions and taste were excellent. I would highly recommend this tour!
We had a great time learning about Key West and eating some good food.
In addition to lovely food, the tour was filled with fun “extras” like the cigar factory and a stop at Kino sandals. The mix of cuisine, local color, history, architecture, and a very personable guide made the time fly by. Book this tour! It’s awesome.
Very much enjoyed this tour- we took it the first day in town so that we could learn Key West and to find out additional things to do while in town. Our guide did not disappoint! The food stops were terrific and the information shared by our guide was interesting and informative. Lots of food- come hungry! Pace yourself for the last few stops:)
The tour was a very good experience I went into places that I otherwise wouldn’t have known existed and the food choices were amazing and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
It is completely worth the money for this fun your. The food is also delicious. Gogo is a fun and amazing host for the tour!
Our Historic Seaport Food & Cultural Walking Tour with Key West Food Tours was one of the highlights of our time in Key West. From the moment the tour began, our guide Angie made everyone feel welcome and set the tone for a fun, engaging tour. Her enthusiasm for Key West was contagious, and she did an outstanding job weaving together the island's history, culture, and culinary traditions as we explored the historic seaport district. The three-hour tour left us feeling full and satisfied and served up a wide variety of local dishes. Our specific tour only had two other people joining us, so it was almost like having a private Key West culinary experience. What made this tour particularly memorable was Angie's ability to bring Key West to life. As we walked from stop to stop, she shared fascinating stories about the island's past, local landmarks, and the unique blend of cultures that have shaped the community over the years. The experience felt much more personal than simply visiting restaurants on our own, giving us a deeper appreciation for the city and its people. Of course, the food was equally impressive. Each stop offered a chance to sample a different taste of Key West, and every dish showcased the flavors that make the island's culinary scene so distinctive. Our personal favorites included a fresh-caught mahi mahi taco bursting with flavor, a rich and indulgent spiny lobster mac and cheese, and, naturally, a slice of authentic Key lime pie that perfectly capped off the experience. Between the delicious food, the fascinating local stories, and Angie's warm and welcoming personality, this tour exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a great introduction to Key West's culture and cuisine, the Historic Seaport Food & Cultural Walking Tour is an experience we would gladly recommend.
We had an amazing time with this tour. Our tour guide Angela was so knowledgeable of Key West and the food stops were delicious- especially the key lime pie! Angela pointed out some history of the area and offered suggestions of things to see and do from a locals perspective. We highly recommend this tour!
We did the “Historic Seaport Food & Walking Tour” in mid-May. Our guide was energetic and informative, giving the history of Key West as we walked. (And also did a good job of periodically getting us into the shade / air-conditioning on a hot, sunny day.) The pink shrimp at Eaton Street Seafood Market and concluding slice of Key Lime Pie at The Key West Cooking Show were the highlights of the food. We found the Lobster Mac & Cheese heavy and so-so. Definitely a full meal after the five stops. Highly recommend.
Heat is very overwhelming for all the walking. Stay hydrated and pace yourself. Loved the historical information. Our guide was very articulate about events, people and cultures in the city.
This was such a fun time! Angie was amazing and the fish tacos were absolutely to die for!! I mean AMAZING!!! Timing was great pleanty of pauses and we didnt feel rushed at all! It was the highlight of my Key West trip🩷🩷
Awesome experience. Would do it again and Angie was so knowledgeable, kind, always wanted to make sure we were ok. Her attention to her guests was amazing!
Great food tour! Some restaurants were slower getting the food out than others, but hey, it’s all fresh and made to order. Enough food to be full at the end of the tour. Also, our guide was knowledgeable and the local history was interesting. Would definitely recommend.
Sharon did an excellent job, very knowledgeable and go with the flow! Was pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes!
This was a fabulous food/history tour. Angie was the best! We learned that wherever you go in Key West you make a friend. Hospitality is amazing. Food was plentiful and delicious. We added on a drink package at a nominal fee. Well worth it
I had a awesome time. Are guides Shyla and Gogo where amazing. Very knowledgeable. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious
Small group tour with Angie, our guide. Don’t eat before you go; you are served a lot of food. Optional drink package available to an additional fee. Angie provided a lot of historical information. Angie was great on this small group tour. Highly recommend.
A fantastic way to get a taste/sip & fun history of Key West! Was an enjoyable stroll through town! Definitely a must do!!!
Awesome trip, wonderful food and Angie was a super host who is very knowledgeable about Kew West. Highly recommend this experience.
Great experience, host was very knowledgeable of places toured and a great person Highly recommended
Fabulous combination of good food and local history.Angie was an excellent tour guide. She was well informed about the history of Key West and the food of the region.
Great mix of local culture and food from knowledgeable guide. Small group. Easy walk. Some stairs. Relaxed pace. Do this your first day.
Food was delicious. Especially the lobster Mac n cheese from Bagatelle! No need to wear sneakers the pace is slow. Guide was informative as well about the areas we traveled and the places we visited.
Our guide was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She took us to places with really great food and vibes. Really enjoyed ourselves. Water available at each stopping place. If it’s hot and sunny, wear sunscreen.
We've been on many of these food tours with a good experience. This one NOT so much. Tour guide Mike, was all about himself and his job as a bartender and into baseball. He interacted with one couple that must know him because she was helping him distribute food and helping him out. Didn't like that at all! He spoke very softly and our group had to try to stay up with him so that we could hear him. The food was good and we only had 1 drink with was wine at our meeting/first place. We liked the food at Eaton Street Seafood Market that we went back for dinner anoither night during our Key W est stay.
This was such a great experience!! We loved it. Our tour director was great - she was personable and shared lots of fun information about Key West. We started out with Key West pink shrimp and white wine at the Eaton Seafood Market and then walked through the streets, visiting Bagatelle for lobster mac n' cheese, Hanks for seafood tacos, the sandal factory, the cigar factory, the Cuban Queen for a cuban sandwich, and finished up at the Key West Cooking School for key lime pie. All of the food was delicious and plentiful portions. I could not be more pleased with our choice of this tour. I highly recommend it!!
We enjoyed the walking tour and the food at each stop was very good.
We were lucky to have good weather with a breeze, but every place we stopped was air conditioned. We not only were introduced to the seafood of Key West but our guide, Rose, was so knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history of Key West and Key West today.
The amount and quality of food was absolutely perfect! Would have appreciated one more beverage included in the tour. Water was appreciated!
The walking food tours are so informative. We learned so much about Key West and its history. Experiencing different restaurants is so worthwhile because we go to places that aren't geared to tourists
Our guide had so many interesting stories to share, we had great food especially enjoying the seafood market shrimp and Garbo’s tacos! Rose answered all of our questions and was sure to include everyone in the group. The size of 12 people was perfect for our walking and eating event.
Keila was a great tour guide. I loved the tour. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. We are glad we did this tour.
Interesting and great food stops. Our guide was terrific! Enjoyed seeing the cigar factory and sandal shop as well.
You not only get a great selection of yummy local foods (and bigger samples than I ever expected) but also tons and tons of interesting historical stories about Key West.
We loved it! I don't generally gush but the tour is really good, including the pacing, the history stops, the variety of tastings, the portion size and the guide. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny and friendly/inclusive. He clearly likes his job (and people in general) and works at it. He casually found a common thread with each unique group to chat for a few minutes over the course of the tour. The food was tasty! and fun to see the local places that we would not have known about without the tour. We returned to 5 of them for dinner, drinks or shopping over the course of our stay!
Excellent food at 6 stops. Too much waiting as our guide had to get the food and deliver it herself 3 hours easily could have been 2.5
Excellent walking tour, not rushed, very informative of Key West, delicious foods and scenery. Will do again on next trip to Key West.
Fun,, organized well and good sampling of venues. Mike was great and we would recommend the experience.
This was an excellent food tour! Guide, Mike, was awesome! Would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a good idea of Key West and taste some of the flavors it is known for.
What a great time! Our guide, Shayla, was very personable and knowledgeable about history of the area and suggestions. The food was delicious and plentiful. Go hungry! Excellent value! Highly recommend!
You shouldn’t miss the opportunity to take part in this experience! My bride and I had an amazing ball!!
Do not snack ahead! The food choices represented the history of the city and were delicious. Mike, our tour guide drew upon his culinary background to share behind the scene insight on local fishing and the vast number of restaurants in the trade. Time and money well spent!
Great food tour! Mike was very personable and knowledgeable. Food was awesome! Great portions and variety.
I would recommend doing this tour as they take you to some some local restaurants the food was great and they tell you about the history on the island as well.
Our guide Larry was great. Catered to everyone. We had 11 of the 15 on the tour and he was very hospitable. The historical aspect was good, the food delicious, the humor great for our group.
Larry & Mike were fantastic storytellers and guides - learned a bit of history, geography, and of course tasted many wonderful dishes. Key Lime pie from the cooking school was the chef’s kiss at the end of tour!
We always do a food tour when we get to a new place. Usually the food is hit or miss. This tour offered the best tasting food of any tour we went on all over the world. The history part was also great
