Key West Day Trip From Miami Beach With Activities

The ride to Key West is about 3 1/2 hours long and the motor coach we rode, we were packed like sardines. The seats were very uncomfortable, the padding was worn out.The AC didn't seem to be working all together that well. On the why home, everyone was looking to recharge their phones and we found out none of the receptacles had power. My booking was supposed to include a one hour train tour. The guide on the bus knew nothing about it or how to find out. I ended up walking all over Old Town Key West, going from ticket booth to booth looking for someone who might help me. I finally found a woman who was able to help. By this time, walking all over the place in that heat and humidity on a bad knee, I was exhausted and didn't really get a chance to fully enjoy Key West. My last comment about this trip has to do with the pickup point. I was told to be at the Hilton Miami by 7:00am, I was there at 6:30. At 7, a woman and her 2 boys approached me asking if I was going to Key West. After some discussion, she contacted someone and she was told that they weren't picking up at the Hilton and that they tried to contact us about it, which either of us knew anything about. Finally about 7:30 the bus picked us up. I would never do this again.

The Day Trip to Key West was awesome and fun! I would recommend anyone to try it if you are in the Miami area. The price was very reasonable. The tour guide was awesome with Tamara giving the history and information as we were headed there. I also did the Hip on and Hop off tour which was dynamic. Navigating around the whole island was worth it. Made some stops the Half Oyster bar, duval street, and Mallory Center. You wont be disappointed. Let Tamara and her crew guide you to Key West!

Excellent driver and great directions but the bus needs work — seat in front of us was broken, air conditioning vent above didn’t open and shelf above creaked continually.

I liked the door to door pickup and the driver and guide were very kind and helpful. The bus itself needs updating with new more comfortable seats with storage overhead.

Perfect day trip, plenty of time to explore Key West. Trolly ticket available for purchase on the bus.

We did not find that there is additional charges for return until we have already booked. Later we got call asking us if we intended to stay overnight. They asked us to pay additional charges in cash without giving any receipts. Point of pick up was unclear. Driver and guide were good.

Easy to make reservations. Bus was punctual and the staff was professional and friendly. Tour guide was very informative. The charter staff was phenomenal

Just the trip, no activities. The driver was excellent, but the bus had seen better days, and those were a long time ago. The toilet was only for the bravest or most careless of us. Otherwise everything worked well. The guide did not add much value, only did the bare minimum, although in a friendly way.

Accommodations for trip was great! Grateful to be picked up at hotel to get to the tour bus for the trip. The tour guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable about Miami (as he is a native), Key West and every area in between. Bus driver was amazing too. Your guide gave clear instructions on when we would get to Key West and when we leave Key West. Extra activities/excursions can be booked on the bus with the tour guide if you want last minute fun at Key West or forgot to book. Either way, there much sigh seeing and walking around you can do at Key West! The only thing I would say I wish I knew beforehand was that we could leave our things on the bus as we explore Key West (if you wanted to bring a blanket or sweater for the ride). I don’t know if that’s every trip but I would assume so. If you call customer service with questions, they have answers too just to double check anything you are unsure of. Overall, I felt and was safe during the trip, I had fun and laughs, and would do it again!

Trip was wonderful, weather too. Big shootout to Thamara from Xcursions (Bus 1317) she is a wonderful lady. The driver Pepe was great. Highly recommend. 10 stars from me for these guys ❤️

We had a comfortable, safe bus ride down and back with TT as our driver. Mariel? (sorry if I messed up your name) was our guide and gave us many facts and suggestions on where to go and what to do in Key West. You could even buy sightseeing packages on board the bus on the way down! Great trip all and all for me and my husband.

Pick up location is good, there are plenty of options, we sit on top, it’s just too cold, the ac is little too strong 😉, hope it can be adjusted to be more comfortable.

Excellent experience from start to finish on Key West tour from Miami … clean bus, safe driver, good tour guide and stayed to schedule Glass-bottom tour boat got cancelled due to windy weather and a phone call the next morning got us the refund confirmation by email within minutes. This speaks to their commitment to real customer service without hassle or delay. Tour exactly as advertised in a very interesting part of FL (long day though if with young children ;-)

We did only the transfer. So we got picked up as described und brought back. The bus had a restroom, the seats were comfortable. We got some information on the way. The guide also tried to sell trips and trolley-tickets but was fine with us not being interested in this. On the way to Key West there was a short stopp at a McDonalds for breakfast. Maybe there could have been a better choice of location. But over all it was as expected.

The audio effects on the bus is not clear enough, can’t hear what the tour guide said. So the information was not received well.

Bus driver was great and safe. Had a great day in Key West. One more bucket item ticked off my list.

Transportation left us. Not very clear directions. We were not able to initiate the trip. Another address suggested so transportation could pick us up, we needed to get an uber and move to this other address but what if they left is again. We decided not to move to other address since we again did not have clear directions like time frame or landmark to wait at etc

Cindy our bus driver was wonderful. She is very professional. She is very knowledgeable. Excellent experience. My only complaint was the actual bus. It was not confortable at all. Seats were not comfortable.

If you visit Miami, don't forget to go to Key West with Xcursions USA, they are all very professional, they made this experience memorable, we recommend them to everyone, thanks guys.

Wonderful! The tour guide was excelente!! I misunderstood and thought we were going to the beach, which I thought was the main Key West attraction. We saw much of the cute city/village, but you have to venture out on your own to get to the beach.

Amazing Service all around, the bus and everything was on time, great ride and very smooth, overall a wonderful experience

Everything went well. The courier apologized several times about the temperature on the bus. It was freezing and they were unable to regulate it. Majority of people were wrapped in towels blankets and jackets. We stopped on the way and my friend and myself went into $ tree to buy fleece wraps to keep warm.. really not acceptable.

Bus was overbooked. Bus was late to arrive and leave. Bus driver missed our stop and instead of going back around dropped off a family with infant children 4 blocks away from pickup point at 11pm in south beach. Bus driver was continuously arguing with passengers and left bus running for 20 min in the morning while she left the vehicle

Excellent trip!. We had a lot of fun. From pick up to returning, everything was on-time. We went for snorkeling, came back for lunch and walk around town

Cindy was an amazing bus driver/tour guide! She took such great care of her passengers! Even when the bus’ air conditioning wasn’t working properly she was very attentive to all of our needs! Cindy is a rock star driver and we would be blessed for her to drive us on another excursion! The trip to Key West was simply amazing and well worth every penny! We did rent a golf cart once arriving on the island and I definitely recommend if you want to explore the whole island in the allotted time on your own! Great experience!

This trip was awesome. We got to the Bayside Marketplace at 6:45AM & bus was on time at 7:00AM. Lilly was a great tour guide and explains everything perfect. I would do it again.

The driver Pepe and guide Amaryllis Lily were friendly and knowledgeable and we felt safe. The trolley tour of Key West was excellent and our driver Karl was a lot of fun. Our glass bottom boat was cancelled due to weather but our tour guide made other recommendations which were probably better. The drive is long though especially coming back.

Smooth pick up, guide and driver were really nice and made the trip effortless. Everyone was on time for all departure times. The only reason I didn’t submit five stars is because the breakfast stop wasn’t good. There were only two options and we ended up walking to a Cuban cafe about 100 m away and had a really good breakfast there. We had to google other locations instead of being notified. We took the train ride which was very informative. I would recommend this tour.

Nice getaway to Key West, bus drivers and the guide were helpful and explained everything important, also suggested offers for further activities on site.

Superb activity, a little long trip but once there it is definitely worth it 😍 Staff in the bus super nice and attentive. I recommend without hesitation.

Long day in perspective. Arrival at noon for the conch train tour (extra charge). The visit is nice. More than enough free time to discover the city in suite. In all 6 hours on site then back to Miami. Keywest is a very nice little town for walking, lunch on the marina...

It all worked out very well . Both reliability with hotel pickup and in Key West at the agreed pickup location. The only thing I can give to people who don't like long bus rides shouldn't do this tour.

The departure time was changed 3 days before the trip, with a notification not to the number indicated. On the morning of the excursion we pointed out the problem but fortunately we were already ready for departure, they made us take an Uber and did not wait for us at the indicated place (5min wait) then they gave us a new meeting place telling us to be there at 7.55 am. We took a new Uber and arrived at the appointed place at 7.27am, waited until 8.20am and no one ever arrived, they also stopped answering my phone. If I could I'd give 0 stars, we'll definitely take legal action

L’orario della partenza ci è stato cambiato 3 giorni prima del viaggio, con una notifica non al numero indicato. La mattina dell’escursione abbiamo fatto presente il problema ma fortunatamente eravamo già pronti per la partenza, ci hanno fatto prendere un Uber e non ci hanno atteso al luogo indicato (5min di attesa) poi ci hanno dato un nuovo luogo di incontro dicendoci di farci trovare lì alle ore 7.55. Abbiamo preso un nuovo Uber e siamo arrivati al luogo stabilito alle ore 7.27, aspettato fino alle 8.20 e non è mai arrivato nessuno, inoltre hanno smesso di rispondermi al telefono. Se potessi pubblicherei gli screen della conversazione, procederemo sicuramente per vie legali

Wurden pünktlich an dem angegebenen Ort angeholt. Bei der Hinfahrt machten wir eine kurze Pause, am Abend sind wir durch gefahren. Super organisiert. Im Bus werden noch Altivitäten für vor Ort angeboten. Man hat vor Ort 6 Stunden Zeit. Wir haben uns die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß angesehen. Toilette im Bus vorhanden. Super Ausflug, wenn man nicht selbst hinfahren möchte. Ist zwar eine lange Busfahrt für einen Tag, aber definitiv wert. Preis-Leistung super. Bin sehr positiv überrascht.

Onder begeleiding van Luis en met een comfortabele bus vertrokken we naar Key West. Onderweg een korte stop gehad voor een ontbijtje en daarna weer door. Helaas was er een aanrijding geweest waardoor het laatste stukje naar Key West wat vertraging had. Uiteindelijk goed aangekomen en ons perfect vermaakt in Key West. Zelf vooraf via Viator app een snorkelcruise gedaan. Die was echt perfect en is zeker een aanrader. Terugreis met de bus ging ook erg goed. Lekker vlot want er waren geen files. Veilig weer terug rond 21.30 in Miami. Zeker een aanrader deze trip!

Trajet convenable cependant climatisation très forte. Nous avons eu très froid. Guide et conducteur agréables.
