We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Kim. She was lovely, enthusiastic and you can tell she loves what she is doing.

I’ve travelled a lot, and done many tours in my life, and we did the KeyLime Pie tour because my friends wanted to. Having a small group was nice. But, Yvonne made the tour so much fun—even in 90+ degree heat. We learned about Key West history, places to eat, and things to do. Even though it’s not normally my thing, we plan to take her evening ghost tour—just because she is so fun! Oh, and the Key Lime pie was great.

It’s a delicious and educational tour made even better by our guide Yvonne who was knowledgeable, energetic, funny and caring. She was the greatest! It totally exceeded my expectations in every way.

Yvonne was great! We loved hearing about the history of Key West and of key lime pie and the samplings were spaced out perfectly. Would have loved to get a tasting with a meringue topping though! Kids (14, 12, 9) all enjoyed it.

One of my and my wife's personal highlights of our trip to Key West. Our guide, Kim, took us along the waterfront for key lime pie samples and lots of great information on local history and culture, especially on the influence of the shipping and sponging industries. Kim was super friendly and could not have had better visual aids and answered our many questions. This was a great introduction of the varieties of key lime pie that exist in Key West, and we could not have had a better and more friendly guide. Highly recommended.

We loved this tour. Kim is a very knowledgeable guide. We learned so much about the historic seaport of Key West. We had great fun. It was fun to learn about sponges and turtle as well as taste a variety of Key Lime Pie recipes. I would do this tour with Kim again.

This was a great way to spend a couple of hours in Key West! Kim was our tour guide and she was so knowledgeable. We tried three different key lime pies at three different places. I didn't know there were so many varieties, and it was hard to pick the "best" one because they were all good. We ended our tour at a local bar that had delicious key lime martinis! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Key West!

Fabulous! You’ll love it. It’s so much more than pies. Kim is very knowledgeable about Key West. You’ll learn things that only a true local can pass along. Well worth the time. The pies are good too! Great way to find your way around too. You won’t be disappointed.

Yvonne was lovely and gave us lots of information about the local area. Then she took us for 3 different Key Lime Pie experiences and it was good to have a variety to taste. Wasn't too filling which was good but still adequate portions. Finished off with a Key Lime drink which was also very nice. Very enjoyable if you love Key Lime Pie!

Kim was a good tour guide. It was great learning the history of the Key Lime Pie and of the Key West area but we felt that the tour dragged a little bit towards the end. Overall, I recommend it!

Tour guide was early and greeted us as we were confused about the meeting point. She gave us some historical info. about Key West. She also demonstrated the differences between key limes and regular limes. We had 4 stops and rated 3 generous key lime pie samples. Last but not least, we visited the Legal Rum Distillery and sampled a key lime cocktail. Great Tour with an Awesome Guide!

Kim, please forgive our late review, but Nicci, Joyce, and I were really swamped when we got home, LOL. All I can say is that our tour was absolutely fantastic, a pure pleasure from start to finish. While our experience may have been a little unusual given that another couple cancelled, I doubt it, since Kim's knowledge, charisma, and friendliness with everyone would shine through even with a group of one hundred! Her bringing us to personally-meaningful spots like Jimmy Buffett's studios just made it that much more special. I'll put it to you like this: my wife was not a fan of key lime pie before we went, but having three of the best to sample made her a true believer, :D! Especially if you're on a cruise like we were and have only a few hours to spend in Key West, you absolutely can't go wrong with booking Tart Tales! 100% recommended! Yvonne was so knowledgeable about the history behind the key lime pie, in which I didn't even know there was so much specific history behind it. She also knew about how the different restaurants around Key west got their start in making their own version of the Key Lime pie and is able to let us try them to find the differences between them, without exposing their secrets. I will never forget about the pies, (and also drinks) I had on the tour and it is something that will make me go back to key west. She also threw herself into traffic for us :)

Yvonne gave us a lovely tour of the history of the Seaport area, the first Key Lime “pie” and 3 excellent Key Lime pies to try at each restaurant with a history of the restaurant and their versions. We finished at a rum distillery with a tasty Key Lime Colada. The tour is about 1.5 hours and an easy and casual pace. It’s a tasty way to explore part of Key West!
