Kayaking Clear Through Clearwater

Very relaxing our guide was absolutely amazing

Very cool, Lance was very informative, we learned a lot. I felt very safe, Lance assured us as a martial artist he would punch a shark and/or alligator to save us. Also he saved us from drowning after we crashed into big pile of barnacle rocks. It was very harrowing. 10/10 would go again.

Girls trip to Clearwater and we booked a last minute kayak activity. We had a great time! Our guide was fun, knowledgeable and experienced. Most of the girls on the trip had never kayaked before and the instructor explained everything in detail and helped when needed.

The tour guide was super nice! I would recommend going early also, we went in July and it was super hot all day to early is better!

It’s a great experience and educational. You should stretch before and after you go kayaking.. And wear lots of sunblock.

Our guide Kyle was an awesome guy! He was very friendly, very professional, and knew alot about the local wildlife and and the area. 10/10 reccomend. He will be moving to St Petersburg to run a tour down there, I 100% reccomend following him where he goes even if its out if the way!

What a workout! But thoroughly enjoyable. Great guide gave us a little history of area and shared knowledge of local creatures.

This was a very fun tour. Kayaking is a bit of a workout at time but our guide made sure we took breaks. We got to land on an island filled with all sorts of birds and collect really cool shells. We went at 5pm-7pm which was perfect in terms of the temperature and UV index.

Based on the description of the excursion , was expecting to see more marine wildlife since the tour guides “know all the best spots” we mainly spent our time looking at snails, shells, and crabs on a little island near bird island. We spent most of our time trying to play catch up to the rest of the group as we are less experienced. Based on the photo in the advertisement we expected clear water , we had anything but that. Kyle , our guide , was nice and decently knowledgeable of the shells and very eco friendly but that was about the only good thing of our experience.

We had a great time. Due to the others all rebooting, we had a private tour. Our guide, Braeleigh was awesome. Very professional and always checking to make sure we were good. The burden sanctuary was very cool. We highly recommend this tour.

We had a great experience! Our guide was concerned for our safety and knowledgeable of the area. We would definitely go for another trip with him!

You are going to get wet. Wear water shoes. Wear a hat and sunscreen and sunglasses. Have an interest in the local wildlife. Enjoy Kayaking.

I was expecting to see Clearwater and wild life like Dolphins. Was disappointed because water was not clear, no wildlife except birds ☹️

This was a very fun experience. The island with the birds was an awesome experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable. She was also very friendly and answered all questions very well. Will do this again!

Very pleasant experience, you should know that you will be paddling for two and half hours so if you are in good shape and up for that, it’s pretty cool! The guide takes you out to a bird mangrove island. It is hard to hear anything she says about the area unless you are kayaking next to her.

Guide was fun and knowledgeable and gave excellent directions. Small group experience was perfect. Would do it again for sunset.

You need to be strong and know how to double paddle with your partner. It was a lot of with you paddle across the ocean.

Sunset kayak - I’ve been kayaking multiple times and wouldn’t say this was the best in terms of equipment, professionalism or what we expected. We had bad luck with it being a sunny but very chilly winter day once the sun set, and we did not see a single water animal, just birds which is nobody’s fault. But we hoped to see the ocean and wildlife through the see through plastic kayaks but you end up kayaking in a channel that is rather murky and has boat traffic, which defeats the point of a glass kayak. The kayak seat was very uncomfortable about halfway in, we kept having to shift our bodies, and the tour is 2.5hrs - roughly 3.5 miles - which is quite a lot especially on a cold day and with wind it was taxing having to row back. Our guide was knowledgeable in his bird and water species, and well versed in water rescue if needed which was great, but he talked so low with the wind we missed half of what he said and often had to ask to confirm directions so we knew where to steer (we were the only kayak on the tour…). At times his directions were confusing and seemed spontaneous. He seemed to not read the room well, we repeatedly towards the end mentioned how cold and soaked we are (my toes were numb) and he kept storytelling instead of steering us back the fastest way. I’m not sure if this was his first tour for this company but it kinda seemed like it. At the end it took him a minute to know in the dark where our ramp was, and despite shivering I ended up having to help him carry and mount the kayak on his trailer as he worked alone. I’ve never experienced that. Also - there’s no office, they use a public ramp. He took plenty of photos of us which was nice, but I wouldn’t book this exact tour again.

Great tour in clear water with our guide John, who was very knowledgable about the area and the local habitat. A lovely relaxed kayaking trip round the harbour and bird island - would definitely recommend the trip.

Justin was an amazing guide! We had an awesome time at the 8am tour. The tide was low and we kayaked alongside a curious dolphin for about 30 minutes. It was AWESOME. Then we went to a sand bar island and found horse conchs and tons of shells. It was an amazing time.

Justin was very welcoming & knowledgeable about the area which made the experience even more enjoyable. He was great at teaching you how to get the best movements to make the kayak go more smoothly, just get ready to work out your arms. There were a lot of things to see & it was a unique experience. These guys will make everything worth it. Thank you Justin for an awesome time!

First time kayakers.....absolutely wonderful experience. Justin took the time to explain how we should be maneuvering our kayaks and took us on a challenging three hour tour which included a stop at a sandbar to find treasures. Highly recommend!

Me and my mom took a vacation in clearwater and we wanted to do clear kayaking. We got Justin as our tour guide and I can’t even find a word for our experience. He was amazing and he was informative and showed us lots of cool crabs and conch shells with crabs and other cool things! We went to bird island and the portion you can legally walk on, it was sweet! I would recommend Justin 10/10!

Our guide was fantastic, knew the area well and had a cool spot for us to check out, where we found multiple shells and sandbars. We spotted lots of crabs and the bird wildlife. Was a 10/10 experience and worth the trip !

Our tour guide, Sage, was exceptional at giving clear instructions but also making everyone laugh and have a good time. He told a lot of cool stories along the tour. We definitely had an unforgettable experience and would go again our next vacation in Clearwater!

Great, was about 3hrs. Braeleigh was great and very knowledgeable. Not a tourist trap, I’d argue it’s the opposite. Can’t see much in clear kayak but open your eyes and look around.

We received a text at 12:15pm from our tour guide confirming the meeting point & wavers to sign. We arrived at 1:30pm for our 2pm tour unbeknownst to us there was a cancellation email sent at 1:22pm (with no explanation for the cancellation) so we sat & waited until 2:30pm very disappointed, had we known sooner we would have booked something else, we only had a day & a half in Clearwater as I was here for work.

Enjoyed the tour. Bird sanctuary was very cool to see. Arms are definitely going to be sore though. Tour guide was great.

Guide was extremely knowledgeable pointing out local landmarks and animals during the trip. I would definitely recommend this activity to everyone.

It was a good experience。 The water is very calm。 The guide is very knowledgeable and friendly。 We went to a small island in the bay with large number of birds。 We got to swim and see some dolphins jump out of water。 Our boat took in too much water and the guide saved us by dragging us back to shore. She took some picture for us and sent the pictures next day. Very fun and memorable。

My wife and I had a great time on this tour. Our guide Sage was fun and knowledgeable. We don’t see any interesting fish but we did see a lot of cool birds it’s and flora.

Noah was such a knowledgeable and joyous host. He knew the history behind almost everything that was seen along the way down the river. He helped show us some manatees coming up for breaths. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to kayak and look for wild life.

I had an amazing time on this tour. Sage was an amazing tour guide, showed us around the bay, and gave us great facts on the wildlife and surrounding area. Highly recommend going on this kayak tour with friends or family. I went with my girlfriend and we had a great time. It feels almost like a private tour since there are 8 people in total for the group. 10/10 recommend while on vacation in Clearwater!

Great fun! Sage was an excellent guide. Don't wear flips flops like I did. Wear water shoes since you'll be walking in shallow water. If you have any arm, wrist, or shoulder issues, the kayaking will be hard for you. Otherwise, fun experience for all levels.

A bit misleading. Took the 8:00 tour with Alicia. She’s very nice and knowledgeable. However, don’t expect to see much sea life outside of what you find in the sand.

My daughter and I really enjoyed this trip. Alicia was great in providing kayaking instructions and pointing out wildlife.

The water was so beautiful we seen a bunch of critters and shells and birds!!! i had so much fun, alisha was great and had a bunch of information. we're not from here so she made it so worth it!!🩷🩷

Most amazing experience imaginable. My granddaughter Emma and I appreciated Sage, best tour guide Ever, beyond words. He taught us about the area, the waterways and the vegetation. Emma is a Biology Major and their discussions fascinated me! When we saw a Manatee, Sage taught us how to maneuver our kayak so as not to frighten it. We watched it come up for air multiple times and it even went under our glass-bottomed kayak! Lots of kayak options in the area but do This One and ask for Sage. You won’t regret it!

We had a great time kayaking in the Ocean. Our guide Sage was very knowledgeable of the ecosystem and the wildlife. The experience was even enjoyable for my 77 year old Dad.

We didn’t see much sealife, but it was still a beautiful and amazing experience. Our guide, Sage, was super knowledgeable and easy to talk to! He knew a lot about the area and gave us recs for food and other places to visit! 10/10 experience!

We had a fantastic time! We couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable and prepared guide. Sage educated us on the marine life and the history of Clearwater. The entire time was laid back and enjoyable. We felt safe the whole trip. We had a small group with us ages 8-65 and everyone was able to last the whole 2.5 hours. We saw dolphins fish birds and mangroves along with crabs, sea urchins sea snails and so much more. I’m planning a trip next year and I will make sure I ask for Sage!

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip sage was a very good guide he was very knowledgeable about the area,The wildlife, gaves a lot of information he knew everything about the environment and even found us some live creatures pretty awesome would highly recommend!!!
